Numerical implementation methods such as the finite element method can be used in machine design to study the dynamic behavior of the plant. Input parameters for using the finite element method should be set based on the geometrical, physical and mechanical system under study. Thus, the aim of this study was to determine the mechanical properties of the rachis of macaw palm in the green maturation stage at an age of 180 days and at fruit maturation. The water content was calculated using the oven method of 105 ± 3°C for 24 hours. The modulus of elasticity for the rachis was determined by means of mechanical compression testing. The Poisson's ratios were determined from the results of the longitudinal and transverse deformation of rachis test bodies. The shear tests were performed in two scenarios. In the first one, a blade was used without a tensioner, and in the second scenario, a blade was fixed with a tensioner, characterized by a chamfer at 45°. It was concluded that the modulus of elasticity of macaw palm rachis in the green maturity stage was higher than the values for the mature stage of ripeness. RESUMO. Métodos de implementação numérica, como o método de elementos finitos, podem ser empregados em projetos de máquinas a fim de estudar o comportamento dinâmico da planta. Como parâmetros de entrada para utilização do método de elementos finitos, devem ser informadas as propriedades geométricas, físicas e mecânicas do sistema em estudo. Objetivou-se neste trabalho determinar as propriedades geométricas, físicas e mecânicas da ráquis de macaúba, nos estádios de maturação de frutos verdes com idade de 180 dias e maduros. O teor de água foi calculado através do método de estufa de 105 ± 3°C por 24h, as dimensões foram determinadas com o auxilio de trena e paquímetro, as massas e os volumes mensurados, empregando-se balança digital e proveta, respectivamente. O módulo de elasticidade da ráquis foi determinado por meio de ensaios mecânicos de compressão. Os coeficientes de Poisson foram determinados pelas deformações longitudinais e transversais de corpos de provas oriundos da ráquis. Concluiu-se que os módulos de elasticidade das ráquis no estádio de maturação verde foram superiores aos valores para o estádio maduro de maturação.

O fruto da palmeira nativa macaúba [Acrocomia aculeata (lacq) Lood. ex Mart] é uma alternativa para a produção de biodiesel devido às características da planta, como sua adaptabilidade, rusticidade e alta produção de óleo vegetal. Contudo, sua exploração ainda é extrativista e há grandes dificuldades em sua colheita. Objetivou-se determinar as propriedades mecânicas do sistema fruto-ráquila de macaúba que servirão de suporte aos projetos de máquinas para colheita por vibração mecânica. Foram utilizadas dez amostras de quatro acessos, nos estádios de maturação imaturo e maduro. Ensaios de tração e vibração foram realizados para determinar as propriedades mecânicas do sistema fruto-ráquila. O módulo de elasticidade obtido para a ráquila foi de 188,39-385,09 MPa para o estádio imaturo e 109,02-320,54 MPa para o maduro. A razão de Poisson para a ráquila ficou entre 0,20 e 0,52 para o estádio imaturo e entre 0,16 e 0,52 para o maduro. A razão de amortecimento encontrada variou entre 0,02 e 0,12 para o estádio imaturo e entre 0,06 e 0,12 para o maduro. O sistema fruto-ráquila foi caracterizado como subamortecido. The fruit of the native macaw palm [Acrocomia aculeata (lacq) Lood. ex Mart] is an alternative for biodiesel production because of the plant characteristics, as well as its adaptability, hardiness and high vegetable oil yield. However, its exploitation remains extractive and there are significant difficulties in its harvest. This study aimed to determine the mechanical properties of the macaw palm fruit-rachilla system that will support the design of harvest machines based on mechanical vibration. Ten samples of four accessions in the immature and mature stages of maturity were used. Traction and vibration tests were conducted to determine the mechanical properties of the macaw palm fruit-rachilla system. The elastic modulus of the rachilla was 188.39-385.09 MPa for the immature stage and 109.02-320.54 MPa for the mature stage. The Poisson's ratio for the rachilla varied between 0.20 and 0.52 for the immature stage and between 0.16 and 0.52 for the mature stage. The damping ratio varied between 0.02 and 0.12 for the immature stage and between 0.06 and 0.12 for the mature stage. The fruit-rachilla system was characterized as underdamped.

The objective of this work is to develop a system to identify areas cultivated with coffee using ANNs having as input variables descriptors Haralick. We used the training algorithm Back-propagation and Levenberg -Marquardt method. There were two cases of study: in the first step, the ANN was trained with representative samples of each class of interest (coffee, forest, water, bare soil, and urban area), thus verifying the potential to discriminate output classes; in the second step the objective was to classify the coffee plantations accordingly with the age. For the evaluation of the classification performance of ANNs was employed a reference map and land use through the Geographic Information System. The concordance between the thematic maps, classified by ANN, and the reference map was evaluated by Kappa index. It was verified that Kappa index for discriminating the coffee region of the other class of interest was 0,652 in the first case study, performance as very good. To classify the coffee plantations accordingly with the age, Kappa index was variable (0.675 to 0.4783), very good for Itatiaia farm and reasonable to Pedra Redonda farm. O objetivo neste trabalho foi desenvolver um sistema para identificar áreas cultivadas com café utilizando Redes Neurais Artificiais (RNAs) tendo como variáveis de entrada os descritores de textura de Haralick. Utilizou-se o algoritmo de treinamento do tipo retro-propagação do erro (backpropagation) e o método de Levenberg-Marquardt. Foram realizados dois estudos de casos: no primeiro, as RNAs foram desenvolvidas para discriminar entre as classes café, mata, água, solo exposto, pastagem e área urbana; no segundo, as RNAs foram desenvolvidas para classificar as plantações de café de acordo com a idade e com a data de recepa. Para a avaliação do desempenho de classificação das RNAs empregou-se um mapa de referência de uso e ocupação do solo elaborado por meio do Sistema de Informações Geográficas. A concordância entre os mapas temáticos, classificados pela RNA, e o mapa de referência foi avaliada pelo coeficiente Kappa. Verificou-se que o coeficiente Kappa para discriminar a região cafeeira das outras classes temáticas foi de 0,652 no primeiro estudo de caso, desempenho considerado muito bom. Para classificar os plantios de café em função da idade e data de recepa o índice Kappa foi variável (0,675 a 0,4783), sendo considerado muito bom para a fazenda Itatiaia e razoável para a fazenda Pedra Redonda.

The development of an efficient machine for harvesting coffee requires comprehensive knowledge of the dynamic behavior of the plant and its parts. The finite element method is a numerical approach used to determine natural frequencies and mode shapes. However, the stochastic finite element method has not been employed for the analysis of the dynamic behavior of coffee. The aim is to determine the natural frequencies and mode shapes for the coffee fruit-stem-branch system. The natural frequencies and the mode shapes were determined by employing the stochastic finite element method, in which the elastic modulus and the specific mass were treated as random variables, and the variation in the natural frequency was obtained as a function of the variability of these properties. The natural frequencies were reduced according to the evolution of the ripening process of the fruit and stem or due to the increase in the total weight of the system due to an increase in the number of fruits attached to the stem. The natural frequencies increased with an increase in the elastic modulus or with a reduction in the specific mass. O desenvolvimento de máquinas eficientes para a colheita do cafeeiro exige conhecimentos sólidos sobre o comportamento dinâmico da planta. O método de elementos finitos é uma ferramenta numérica utilizada para determinar frequências naturais e modos de vibração. Porém não se tem empregado o método de elementos finitos estocástico para análise do comportamento dinâmico do cafeeiro. Assim, objetivou-se neste trabalho determinar as frequências naturais e modos de vibração do sistema fruto-pedúnculo-ramo do cafeeiro. Foram determinadas as frequências naturais e os modos de vibração empregando-se o método de elementos finitos estocástico, em que o módulo de elasticidade e a massa específica dos frutos, pedúnculo e ramos foram tratados como variáveis aleatórias, obtendo-se a variação das frequências naturais em função da variabilidade destas propriedades. As frequências naturais reduziram na medida em que se evolui o estádio de maturação dos frutos e pedúnculos ou se aumenta a massa total do sistema, dado pelo aumento do número de frutos solidários ao pedúnculo. As frequências naturais aumentaram na medida em que se elevou o módulo de elasticidade ou se reduziu a massa específica dos frutos, pedúnculos e ramos.

Precision agriculture has been used as an important technique for localized management of soil fertility. Therefore, it is essential to characterize the spatial variability of chemical and physical attributes of the soil by sampling can represent such variations. This study aimed to analyze the correlation between the apparent electrical conductivity with the chemical and physical attributes of an Rhodic Hapludox. The work was performed on a property located in the Brazilian Cerrado. In an area of 90 hectare were collected 181 georeferenced soil samples at depths from 0.00 to 0.20 meters. The same sites and removal of samples were made apparent electrical conductivity of the soil. The samples were sent to the laboratory to perform the physical and chemical analysis. Were selected randomly sampling 30 points and calculated the Pearson correlation coefficient between the variable physical, chemical and apparent soil electrical conductivity. There was no significant correlation between the apparent electrical conductivity with the soil physical attributes. There was a significant positive correlation of apparent electrical conductivity of the soil at a depth of 0.20 m with the chemical attributes match, remaining phosphorus and zinc., A agricultura de precisão vem sendo utilizada como importante técnica de manejo localizado da fertilidade do solo.Para tanto, é indispensável à caracterização da variabilidade espacial dos atributos químicos e físicos do solo através de amostragem capaz de representar tais variações. O presente estudo teve por objetivo analisar a correlação entre a condutividade elétrica aparente com os atributos químicos e físicos de um Latossolo Vermelho distroférrico. O trabalho foi realizado em uma propriedade localizada no cerrado brasileiro. Em uma área de 90 hectares foram coletados 181 amostras de solo georeferenciadas, na profundidade de 0,00 – 0,20 metros. Nos mesmos locais de retirada de amostras foram efetuadas leituras de condutividade elétrica aparente do solo. As amostras foram encaminhadas ao laboratório para realização das análises física e química. Selecionou-se, aleatoriamente, 30 pontos amostrais e calculou-se o coeficiente de correlação de Pearson entre as variáveis físicas, químicas e a condutividade elétrica aparente do solo. Não foi observado correlação significativa entre a condutividade elétrica aparente com os atributos físicos do solo. Observou-se correlação positiva e significativa da condutividade elétrica aparente do solo na profundidade de 0,20 m com os atributos químicos fósforo, fósforo remanescente e zinco.

This study aimed to analyze the influence of different sampling grids in determining the spatial variability of physical attributes of a Oxisol. It was used to study an area of approximately 90 hectares, where soil was sampled at depth from 0 to 0.20 meters, using a grid of 2 points per hectare (G1). Each soil sample was composed of four subsamples and obtained using a soil sampler Dutch type. The samples were sent to the laboratory to granulometric analysis. From the initial grid, the area was divided into sampling cells of 2.9 (G2) and 4.7 hectares (G3), and assigned a coordinate value representative of the center of each cell. Classical statistical and geostatistical methods were used to characterize the data and to model the spatial dependence. Spatial dependence was detected for all physical variables of the soil, regardless of the sampling grid used. The utilization of sampling grid of 1 point for each 2.9 hectares, and the sampling cell characterized by 12 subsamples, showed itself capable of detecting the spatial variability of the physical attributes of the soil, guaranteeing reliability in the estimates, even reducing the quantity of points when compared to the densest grid.

Está faltando o link de acesso ou o DOI. Neste trabalho, objetivou-se estudar a resposta espectral de plantas de feijoeiro à infecção por Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, fungo causador do mofo-branco. Foram conduzidos dois ensaios, no delineamento em blocos ao acaso, com cinco tratamentos e quatro repetições, no primeiro ensaio, e seis tratamentos e quatro repetições, no segundo. Medidas de reflectância espectral do dossel do feijoeiro, entre os comprimentos de ondas de 400 a 850 nm, foram tomadas aos 60, 71, 91 e 102 dias após a emergência (DAE), no primeiro ensaio, e aos 13, 27, 34, 56, 71 e 91 DAE, no segundo. Os dados espectrais foram transformados em índices de vegetação: da diferença normalizada (NDVI), da diferença de verde normalizado (GNDVI) e ajustado para o solo (SAVI). A severidade do mofo-branco foi avaliada, visualmente, aos 102 DAE, no primeiro ensaio, e aos 92 DAE, no segundo. Houve correlação significativa apenas no segundo ensaio, entre a severidade da doença e o NDVI, aos 71 DAE. A resposta espectral do feijoeiro pode ser utilizada para a detecção da ocorrência do mofo-branco e, consequentemente, como ferramenta no manejo integrado. The objective of this work was to study the spectral response of bean plants infected by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum, the causal agent of white mold. Two experiments were conducted using a randomized block design with five treatments and four replications in the first trial and six treatments and four replications in the second. Measurements of canopy spectral reflectance of wavelengths between 400 and 850 nm were taken at 60, 71, 91 and 102 days after emergence (DAE) in the first trial and at 13, 27, 34, 56, 71 and 91 DAE in the second. Spectral data were transformed into vegetation indices: the normalized difference (NDVI), the green normalized difference (GNDVI) and the soil adjusted (SAVI). The white mold severity was visually assessed at 102 DAE in the first trial and at 92 DAE in the second. A significant correlation between disease severity and NDVI was found only at 71 DAE in the second trial. The bean crop spectral response can be used to detect white mold occurrence and, consequently, as an integrated management tool.

O presente estudo teve por objetivo analisar a influência de diferentes grades amostrais na determinação da variabilidade espacial dos atributos físicos de um Latossolo Vermelho distroférrico. Utilizou-se para o estudo uma área de aproximadamente 90 hectares, onde se amostrou solo na profundidade de 0 – 0,20 metros, utilizando grade de 2 pontos por hectare (G1). Cada amostra de solo foi composta de quatro subamostras e obtida utilizando um trado tipo holandês. As amostras foram encaminhadas ao laboratório para realização da análise granulométrica. A partir da grade inicial, a área foi dividida em células amostrais de 2,9 (G2) e 4,7 hectares (G3), sendo atribuído um valor de coordenada representativo do centro de cada célula. Métodos estatísticos clássicos e geoestatísticos foram empregados para caracterizar os dados e modelar a dependência espacial. Foi detectada dependência espacial para todas as variáveis físicas do solo, independente da grade amostral utilizada. A modelagem da dependência espacial dos atributos físicos do solo utilizando a grade amostral de 2 pontos por hectare foi a que apresentou, de forma geral, os melhores parâmetros de ajuste para validação cruzada. A utilização de grade amostral de 1 ponto para cada 2,9 hectares, sendo a célula amostral caracterizada por 12 subamostras, mostrou-se capaz de detectar a variabilidade espacial dos atributos físicos do solo, garantindo confiabilidade nas estimativas mesmo reduzindo a quantidade de pontos quando comparada a grade mais densa. Differentiating coffees through the notion of terroirs allows us to determine potential areas for specialty coffee production and to characterize the type of coffee in these areas, exploring their potential. The objective of this work was to study spatial variability quality and to characterize and delimit terroirs in coffee crop production in Araponga municipality, Minas Gerais State, Brazil, using sensorial evaluation. The data were collected from four crops, from altitudes ranging from 770 to 1270 m, with the extract increasing from low to high. In each plot of crops, samples of cherry fruits were collected, dried, benefited, subjected to sensorial analysis and given grades ranging from 0 to 100 points for the global drink quality and relative characteristics of honey, body, acidity, flavor and equilibrium. The spatial variability of the quality was analyzed using the Moran Index. To define coffee production terroirs, average quality grades were compared through separation tests and the individual values of the plots were subjected to an analysis of groupings. The study was efficient in identifying terroirs for mountain coffee culture, therefore allowing coffees to be differentiated as a function of their production locations. Araponga has more than one coffee production terroir characterized by two distinct altitude extracts. A diferenciação dos cafés através da noção de terroir permite determinar áreas potenciais para a produção de cafés especiais e caracterizar o tipo de café dessas áreas, explorando suas potencialidades. O objetivo nesse trabalho foi estudar a variabilidade espacial da qualidade e caracterizar e delimitar terroirs de produção de café de lavouras no município de Araponga - MG a partir da avaliação sensorial dos frutos produzidos nas mesmas. Os dados foram coletados em quatro lavouras, as quais apresentam uma variação de altitude de 770 a 1270 m, dentro de extrato crescente. Em cada talhão das lavouras, foram coletadas amostras de frutos cereja que, depois de secas e beneficiadas, foram submetidas à análise sensorial, onde foram atribuídas notas variando de 0 a 100 pontos para a qualidade global da bebida e também para características relativas à sua doçura, corpo, acidez, sabor e equilíbrio. A variabilidade espacial da qualidade foi analisada através do índice de Moran. Para a definição dos terroirs de produção de café, as notas médias de qualidade, foram comparadas através de testes de separação e os valores individuais dos talhões submetidos à uma análise de agrupamentos. O estudo foi eficiente para identificar terroirs para a cafeicultura de montanha, permitindo assim diferenciar os cafés em função dos seus locais de produção. O município de Araponga possui mais de um terroir de produção de café caracterizado por dois distintos extratos de altitude.

This study aimed to develop classifiers based on different combinations of spectral bands and vegetation indices from original, segmented and reflectance images in order to determine the levels of leaf nitrogen and chlorophyll in the bean, and to define the best time and best variables. A remote-sensing system was used, consisting of a helium balloon and two small-format digital cameras. Besides the individual spectral bands, four vegetation indices were tested: simple ratio, normalized difference, normalized difference in the green band, and modified-chlorophyll absorption. The classifiers proved to be efficient in determining levels of leaf nitrogen and chlorophyll. The best time for determining leaf N content was at 13 DAE (stage V4). The best classifiers for that time used as input variables two indices from segmented reflectance images, one index related to the canopy structure and the other related to chlorophyll, with a Kappa ranging from 0.26 to 0.31. The best time to discriminate leaf chlorophyll content was 21 DAE (stage V4). The best classifier used as input variables two original images, one in the red band and one in the blue with a Kappa of 0.47. Objetivou-se desenvolver classificadores com base em diferentes combinações de bandas e índices de vegetação espectrais de imagens originais, segmentadas e reflectâncias, para discriminação de teores de nitrogênio e clorofila foliares do feijoeiro, definindo a melhor época e as melhores variáveis. Foi utilizado um sistema de sensoriamento remoto constituído por um balão a gás hélio e duas câmeras digitais de pequeno formato. Além das bandas isoladamente, foram testados quatro índices de vegetação: da razão simples, da diferença normalizada, da diferença normalizada utilizando a banda do verde e o da absorção de clorofila modificado. Os classificadores demonstraram serem eficientes na discriminação de teores de nitrogênio e clorofila foliares. A melhor época para discriminar teor de nitrogênio foliar foi aos 13 DAE (estádio V4). Os melhores classificadores para esta época utilizaram como entrada dois índices em imagens reflectância segmentada, um índice relacionado com a estrutura do dossel e outro relacionado com a clorofila, com Kappa variando entre 0,26 a 0,31. Para discriminar teor de clorofila foliar, a melhor época foi aos 21 DAE (estádio V4). O melhor classificador utilizou como entrada duas imagens originais, uma da banda vermelha e outra da banda azul, com Kappa de 0,47.

Nitrogen is one of the main nutrients for the bean plant, and its deficiency is very common. Because nitrogen also participates in construction of chlorophyll molecules, evaluation of n deficiency in the plant may be determined by indirect measurement of the chlorophyll content. The objective of this study was to use a chlorophyll meter for the detection of nitrogen deficiency. The study included 5 treatments (0, 50, 100, 150 and 200 kg ha-1 of N), with 10 repetitions, summing 50 pots with 8 dm3 of soil material. Ten readings were performed per pot at 30, 40 and 50 dae (days after emergency). The simple linear regression coefficients and those of second order were significant for all the study periods of this work, however the lack-of-fit was also significant, except for the behavior of the values obtained at 50 dae. In general, the values obtained with the chlorophyll meter trended to increase with elevation of N and with the advance of the plant development stages, indicating the potential for using this equipment to differentiate the various doses of nitrogen applied. It was verified that the different nitrogen doses applied influenced the values measured by the chlorophyll meter. O nitrogênio (N) é um dos principais nutrientes para o feijoeiro, sendo sua deficiência bastante comum. Como o nitrogênio também participa da constituição da molécula de clorofila, a avaliação da deficiência de N pela planta pode ser determinada pela mensuração indireta do teor de clorofila. Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar a possibilidade de utilização do medidor de clorofila na determinação da deficiência de N. O trabalho teve 5 tratamentos (0, 50, 100, 150 e 200 kg ha-1 de N), com 10 repetições, totalizando 50 vasos com 8 dm³ de material de solo. Foram feitas 10 leituras por vaso aos 30, 40 e 50 DAE (dias após emergência). Os coeficientes de regressão linear simples e de segundo grau foram significativos para todas as épocas estudadas neste trabalho, entretanto, a falta de ajuste também foi significativa, exceto para o comportamento dos valores obtidos aos 50 DAE. De modo geral, os valores obtidos com o medidor de clorofila tenderam a aumentar com o acréscimo da quantidade de N aplicado e com o avanço do estádio de desenvolvimento da planta, indicando o potencial da utilização deste equipamento para discriminar as diferentes doses de nitrogênio aplicadas. Foi possível observar que as diferentes doses de nitrogênio aplicadas influenciaram os valores do medidor de clorofila.

The aim of this work was to describe the weed spatial variability in a no-tillage system area in Jataí, GO, Brazil. A regular grid was used on a 22 hectares field accomplishing 29 sample points. The total shoot dry matter of weeds was determined on an area of 0.5 m2 and also separated on broadleaf and grassy types. Images of the sample area were classified using a supervised classifier into three classes: straw, leaves and uncovered. The soybean leaves were manually segmented from the leave class. The images were also processed using an automatic threshold method, separating the leaves from the background. On the processed images were calculated the covered areas by each class. All variables were submitted to correlation and geostatistical analysis. A significant correlation was verified between covered area by plants and the shoot dry matter. The supervised classification and the automatic threshold method achieved similar results. When the soybean leaves were segmented, the broadleaf weeds cover area determination improved, but had no influence on the correlation with total dry matter of weeds and cover area Spatial dependence was only verified when the two types of weeds were studied separately.

Harvesting is one of the most important operations in coffee production systems. This operation has a high cost and impact on the final quality of the product. To reduce production costs, producers are looking for ways to mechanize this operation. Harvesting machines generally detach fruits from the coffee plant by vibration and/or impact. The objective of this work was to study the effect of the amplitude and frequency of vibration on the efficiency of coffee fruit harvesting. Vibration tests of coffee branches were performed in a laboratory using an electromagnetic shaker. The tests were performed using amplitudes in the range of 3.75 to 7.50 mm and frequencies from 13.33 to 26.67 Hz. Coffee branches from two different varieties were used for evaluation, Catuaí Vermelho and Mundo Novo. It was verified that harvesting efficiency is directly related to the acceleration reached by the fruits during the harvesting process. The frequencies of 23.33 and 26.67 Hz and amplitudes of 6.25 and 7.50 mm resulted in the highest harvesting efficiency of ripe coffee cherries for both varieties. However, the harvesting efficiency for the Mundo Novo variety was higher than that of the Catuaí Vermelho variety at the studied frequency and amplitude ranges in this work. It was verified that harvesting efficiency is directly related to the acceleration reached by the fruits during the harvesting process. The frequencies of 23.33 and 26.67 Hz and amplitudes of 6.25 and 7.50 mm resulted in the highest harvesting efficiency of ripe coffee cherries for both varieties. However, the harvesting efficiency for the Mundo Novo variety was higher than that of the Catuaí Vermelho variety at the studied frequency and amplitude ranges in this work.

This study was carried out to evaluate the influence of the combination of displacement speed and the load applied by the compacting wheel of a seeder-fertilizer machine on the emergence of the seedlings and initial development of the maize crop in the no-till system. The study was done with the use of three displacement speeds of the seeder machine (1.11, 1.67 and 2.22 m s-1) in combination with four loads applied by the compacting wheels (119.26, 131.11, 257 and 339 N). The pressure was adjusted using the compressing pressure of the two springs in each planting unit of the seeder machine. The load of 339N caused a lower seed deposition depth than the load of 131.11. The maximum flattening of soil layer on the seed occurred with the load of 339N, due to the pressure exerted by the compressing wheels. There was no interaction between the factors, as well as no significant difference between the evaluated speeds. The load applied by the compressing wheels and the displacement speeds used for seeding had no influence on emergence and initial establishment of the maize crop. Este trabalho teve como objetivo avaliar os efeitos da combinação entre as velocidades de deslocamento e cargas aplicadas pela roda compactadora de uma semeadora-adubadora sobre a emergência das plântulas e o desenvolvimento inicial da cultura do milho em sistema de plantio direto. Combinou-se três velocidades de deslocamento da semeadora (V1= 1,11, V2= 1,67 e V3= 2,22 m s-1), com quatro cargas aplicadas pelas rodas compactadoras (C1= 119,26, C2= 131,11, C3= 257 e C4= 339 N). Verificou-se que houve efeito das diferentes cargas aplicadas para o fator profundidade de deposição das sementes. A aplicação da carga C4 pela roda compactadora ocasionou uma menor profundidade de deposição das sementes que a carga C2. As cargas aplicadas pelas rodas compactadoras e as velocidades de deslocamento utilizadas para a semeadura não influenciaram a emergência e o estabelecimento inicial da cultura do milho.

Dada à necessidade de se conhecer os valores da erosividade da chuva para qualquer localidade, tendo em vista o planejamento de uso de práticas para controle da erosão, e considerando a escassez dessas informações, no presente trabalho teve-se por objetivo desenvolver redes neurais artificiais (RNAs) para a estimativa mensal da erosividade da chuva no Estado de Minas Gerais. Utilizaram-se dados de erosividade da chuva, latitude, longitude e altitude de 268 estações pluviométricas situadas no Estado de Minas Gerais e em seu entorno. Foram treinadas 48 RNAs, considerando-se os índices de erosividade EI30 e KE>25 e duas metodologias de obtenção da energia cinética da precipitação. Na avaliação dos resultados obtidos com as RNAs desenvolvidas, utilizaram-se o coeficiente de determinação e o índice de confiança. A análise dos resultados possibilitou que se verificasse que as RNAs desenvolvidas são eficientes para estimativa mensal da erosividade da chuva, constituindo alternativa viável para a obtenção desses valores, para qualquer localidade do Estado de Minas Gerais.

A erosividade da chuva é um índice numérico que expressa a capacidade das chuvas em provocar erosão hídrica no solo. O presente trabalho teve por objetivo desenvolver um programa computacional para estimar os valores da erosividade da chuva no Estado de Minas Gerais com base em redes neurais artificiais (RNAs). O valor anual da erosividade da chuva é obtido pelo somatório dos valores mensais dos índices de erosividade EI30 ou KE > 25. Foram utilizados para cálculo de cada um desses índices dois métodos de obtenção da energia cinética de precipitação pluvial. Dessa maneira, obtiveram-se quatro valores de erosividade para cada mês, totalizando o desenvolvimento de 48 redes. As RNAs desenvolvidas foram implementadas no ambiente de programação Borland Delphi 7.0. O programa computacional desenvolvido foi denominado NetErosividade MG. O programa fornece, de forma fácil e rápida, os valores mensais e anual da erosividade da chuva para qualquer localidade do Estado de Minas Gerais. Rainfall erosivity represents the potential of rainfall causing soil erosion. This study aimed to develop a software to estimate rainfall erosivity in the state of Minas Gerais based on Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs). The annual value of the rainfall erosivity is given by the sum of the monthly values of the erosivity indexes EI30 or KE > 25. Two methodologies were used to estimate the kinetic energy for each index. Thus, four erosivity values were evaluated for each month, resulting in the development of 48 ANNs. These ANNs were implemented using the software Borland Delphi 7.0. The new software was called NetErosividade MG. The program calculates the monthly and annual values of rainfall erosivity for any location in the state of Minas Gerais in an easy and fast way.
