Uma das estratégias para melhorar a eficiência nas instituições é a gestão por processos, que inclui a criação de uma estrutura formal, o Escritório de Processos, prática pouco utilizada na gestão em saúde pública. Nesse sentido, esta pesquisa objetivou apresentar um estudo de caso para implantação de um Escritório de Processos na Secretaria de Estado de Saúde do Paraná. Para tanto, de maneira descritiva exploratória, aplicou-se um método que perpassa sete fases. Os resultados apontam que o contexto institucional e técnico favorece a implementação, enquanto o ambiente político pode trazer desafios, como resistências a mudanças. O escritório terá como objetivos alinhar estratégias, melhorar práticas de gestão e capacitar equipes, sendo estruturado em divisões especializadas em modelagem e governança de processos. Tal implantação reforça a gestão por processos como ferramenta potente para transformar a gestão em pública de saúde, com vistas a proporcionar serviços de qualidade à população.

The objective of this research is to propose a strategic planning model for the growth of professional, scientific, and technical services microenterprises in Mexico. A methodology was applied under the quantitative paradigm with a nonexperimental cross-correlational research design to a sample of 174 managers. The findings expose nine weakly associated factor loads in relation to what is stated in the literature, showing a configuration of the model that is different from being applied in practice. The main findings of this research is the development of a conceptual model integrated by: philosophy, long, medium, and short-term objectives, policies, strategies, rules, procedures, programs, and budgets, linked by strategic, tactical, and operational control to the companies under study. Este artigo oferece uma visão atual sobre o alinhamento estratégico da comunicação organizacional nas instituições da Rede Federal de Educação Profissional, Científica e Tecnológica (RFEPCT). O estudo explora a importância de uma comunicação clara, transparente e inclusiva como um pilar estratégico essencial para o sucesso e a eficácia institucional. Através de uma abordagem exploratória baseada em revisão bibliográfica, a pesquisa examina como a comunicação se integra ao planejamento estratégico nas instituições, com foco na referida área hoje existente na rede federal de ensino. A análise evidencia que a falta de uma comunicação eficaz pode comprometer o alcance dos objetivos institucionais, resultar em processos ineficazes e prejudicar a imagem institucional. Conclui-se que a integração estratégica da comunicação e a profissionalização das ferramentas comunicativas são cruciais para garantir a transparência, fortalecer a reputação e apoiar a gestão estratégica das instituições da RFEPCT.

In the complex context in which Cuba's tourism activity is developing, it is necessary to adjust the sector's management to international trends in order to increase the country's competitiveness as a destination. In recent years, it has been pointed out that there is a lack, at the country level, of studies linked to the strategic and integrated planning of the sector. In this scenario, and as part of the project: Development and Competitiveness of the Cuban tourist product, the present research is developed with the objective of designing strategic guidelines for the management of Cuban tourist destinations. In the same, a previous stage linked to the theoretical-conceptual study and the description of the elements linked to tourism in the destination was developed. Subsequently, three stages were developed using methods and techniques such as bibliographic analysis, surveys to experts and discussion groups. This made it possible to present the situational analysis of Cuba in terms of the management of its destinations, future perspectives, good practices of two of the countries that constitute direct competition, as well as to formulate a total of five strategic objectives and 30 guidelines to be taken into account for the design of strategies. The urban mobility systems of municipalities are made up of various transport, passenger and freight services and subsystems. The mode of public passenger transport, the main one, in many cases, is operated by buses belonging to urban transport companies, and by the complementary service, operated by small vehicles. The great challenge of this format is to establish the corporate culture in the associations of operators of small vehicles, accustomed to an almost artisanal model, practically an extension of the informal or clandestine operation previously carried out. This challenge can be overcome through the actions of the Government, encouraging the formation of cooperatives, formed by these permittees. It must be considered that a cooperative has different specificities from a capital company. The management bodies of transport systems should encourage the assimilation of the management culture, more precisely the Management ® Excellence Model, which is desirable for cooperatives to have the necessary conditions to operate properly in transport systems. Hence, the general objective of this work is to provide the technical, economic, financial and structural conditions for cooperatives to have sustainability as an economic activity. The methodology used was based on an empirical, inductive and exploratory study, with the presentation of a strategic business management model. With this, it is intended to establish a management model to be followed by any entity that has delegation of operation by the Government, which, without a doubt, will constitute a great innovation in the institutional relationship with these individual operators. O artigo objetiva apresentar um estudo de demanda por novos serviços em um escritório de contabilidade de uma cidade do interior do Rio Grande do Sul. Realizou-se uma pesquisa quanti-qualitativa, com um estudo de caso, a partir de fundamentação teórica sobre serviços que podem ser ofertados em um escritório de contabilidade e a aplicação de um questionário eletrônico, para uma amostra de 21 empresas clientes do escritório e ativas em setembro de 2019. O serviço mais demandado foi a assessoria contábil gerencial, por 38,1% das empresas clientes; seguida pelos serviços de planejamento tributário e de recrutamento e seleção de colaboradores, ambos por 28,57% das empresas; e, por último, o serviço de planejamento estratégico, indicado por 23,81% das empresas. Dessa forma, constatou-se que as empresas possuem interesse, mas não tão expressivo, por novos serviços, podendo o escritório de contabilidade analisar os resultados da pesquisa, para, após reorganizar as funções internas necessárias, oferecer novos serviços.

Objetivo: Identificar iniciativas para o alinhamento estratégico de uma empresa comercial do segmento de utilidades, a partir do Balanced Scorecard. Metodologia: Realizou-se uma pesquisa descritiva, realizada a partir de estudo de caso, com abordagem qualitativa. A coleta de dados ocorreu por meio de um questionário aplicado aos colaboradores, obtendo-se 40 respostas válidas. A partir dos resultados verificou-se que as iniciativas que podem contribuir com o alinhamento estratégico são voltadas a: aumentar a rentabilidade da empresa, reduzir o custo médio da empresa e melhorar o fluxo de caixa, no que tange a perspectiva financeira; aumentar o número de clientes no atacado e no varejo, manter clientes lojistas ativos no caso da perspectiva de clientes; alinhar os processos de gestão de estoque, agilizar o atendimento e agilizar a operação do sistema interno de informação no que diz respeito a perspectiva de processos internos e; capacitar os colaboradores e reduzir o turnover no que tange o aprendizado e crescimento. É importante que a empresa defina os responsáveis para acompanhamento das iniciativas, para que as metas possam ser atingidas e por consequência, os objetivos possam ser alcançados. Resultados: De forma geral, os resultados destacam a relevância da metodologia BSC, para o alinhamento entre os objetivos estratégicos, indicadores, metas e em especial, as iniciativas para colocar em prática o que se espera para organização, contribuindo com os gestores no processo decisório, para que melhores decisões possam ser tomadas e a empresa tenha êxito em suas atividades. Contribuição do Estudo: O presente estudo contribui com a literatura evidenciando que o BSC pode ser utilizado independente do porte ou segmento de atuação e, pode servir como benchmarking para outras empresas similares, de pequeno e médio porte.

Including extension in curricula represents a strategic tool for reorientating higher education, involving greater integration of the university, services, and communities. This work presents the experience of implementing Extension Training in the Undergraduate course in Health Services Management at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). This paper is a descriptive study of the experience report type, which resulted from a pilot project developed between 2021 and 2022. This experience is based on a practical activity that provided the articulation and integration of two mandatory subjects from the curriculum to two extension projects involving small municipalities in Minas Gerais state, Brazil. To this end, a health assessment instrument was developed that allowed the situational diagnosis of municipalities, considering the demographic, epidemiological, socioeconomic, and organizational dimensions of health services. This instrument helped the classes to provide critical and collective learning, which articulates theory with the concrete experience of management, planning, and health of Extension Training in Public Health course curricula as it innovates and enhances the teaching-learning process critically, and can be support and inspiration for the insertion of extension in curricula of health courses. From the results, it was found that the initiatives that can contribute to the strategic alignment are aimed at: increasing the company's profitability, reducing the company's average cost and improving cash flow, with regard to the financial perspective; increase the number of wholesale and retail customers, keep shopkeeper customers active in the case of customer perspective; align inventory management processes, streamline service and streamline the operation of the internal information system with regard to internal processes and; Empower employees and reduce turnover in terms of learning and growth. It is important that the company defines those responsible for monitoring the initiatives, so that the goals can be achieved and, consequently, the objectives can be achieved. Results: In general, the results highlight the relevance of the BSC methodology for the alignment between strategic objectives, indicators, goals and initiatives to put into practice what is expected for the organization, contributing to managers in the decision-making process, so that better decisions can be made, and the company can succeed in its activities. Study Contribution: The present study contributes to the literature, showing that the BSC can be used regardless of size or segment of activity and can serve as a benchmark for other similar small and medium-sized companies. De gestores urbanos a artistas, passando por empresários e publicitários, a marca “Rio” é mun-dialmente conhecida e consumida. A projeção midiática que a cidade teve durante os preparativose a realização dos Jogos Olímpicos de 2016 possibilitou a construção de um imaginário largamenteutilizado na intenção de legitimar práticas institucionais que modificaram o espaço e o reade-quaram aos interesses de coalizões governamentais e empresariais. A inserção da extensão nos currículos representa uma ferramenta estratégica para a reorientação do ensino superior, visando maior integração da universidade, serviços e comunidades. Este trabalho apresenta a experiência de implantação da Formação em Extensão no curso de Graduação em Gestão de Serviços de Saúde da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). Trata-se de um estudo descritivo, do tipo relato de experiência, que decorreu de um projeto piloto desenvolvido entre os anos de 2021 e2022. Esta experiência se constituiu a partir de uma atividade prática que proporcionou a articulação e a integração de duas disciplinas obrigatórias do currículo a dois projetos de extensão, envolvendo municípios de pequeno porte do estado de Minas Gerais. Para tanto, foi desenvolvido um instrumento de avaliação de saúde que permitiu o diagnóstico situacional de municípios, considerando as dimensões demográfica, epidemiológica, socioeconômica e da organização dos serviços de saúde. Este instrumento permitiu aos alunos um aprendizado crítico e coletivo, que articulou a teoria à experiência concreta da gestão, do planejamento e da vigilância em saúde. Consideramos que este relato apresenta uma experiência exitosa para a inserção da Formação em Extensão em currículos de cursos da Saúde Coletiva na medida em que inova e potencializa o processo de ensino-aprendizagem de forma crítica, podemos ser apoio e inspiração para a desafiadora inserção da extensão nos currículos dos cursos da área da saúde. Neste artigo, apresenta-se um estudo dos sistemas de planejamento estratégico: análise SWOT, Balanced Scorecard e gestão do conhecimento como dispositivos facilitadores aos gestores que administram uma Instituição de Ensino Superior. Dessa forma, objetiva-se analisar os sistemas utilizados por tais gestores em suas IES, como dispositivos para o planejamento estratégico. A pesquisa foi baseada em um estudo qualitativo, em que foi aplicado um questionário a 100 gestores de Instituições de Ensino Superior no Brasil (Faculdades, Centros Universitários e Universidades), composto por perguntas fechadas e abertas. A pesquisa contém dez descritores, porém, neste artigo, será apresentada uma análise de dois descritores, a saber: quais os dispositivos ou sistemas utilizados para o planejamento estratégico em sua IES, e o uso da gestão do conhecimento como uma ferramenta que facilita o gerenciamento. A coleta dos dados ocorreu no período de agosto/2017 a março/2018 e os dados apresentados foram analisados a partir das narrativas dos sujeitos investigados e discutidos à luz da literatura. Conclui-se que a análise Swot, balanced scorecard e a gestão do conhecimento são sistemas que facilitam estratégias de planejamento nas Instituições de Ensino Superior (IES), apoiando os gestores na tomada de decisões no cotidiano de suas instituições.

Orthognathic surgery is a complex and irreversible procedure used mainly to correct problems of dental malocclusion and facial harmony. To ensure its success, meticulous planning is crucial, which represents a challenge for oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Artificial intelligence (AI) has proven to be a great facilitator of surgical planning. The purpose of this review is to carry out a comprehensive analysis of how AI can contribute to the planning of orthognathic surgery. This is an integrative literature review carried out using a search strategy in the following databases: PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect and Web of Science. The search was carried out using the descriptors "Orthognathic surgery", "Orthognathic Surgical Procedures", "Artificial intelligence", "Planning" and "Strategic Planning" using the Boolean operators "AND" and "OR". Primary studies published from 2018 onwards that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria adopted were selected, totaling 13 publications. The main contributions of AI identified were: Diagnostic imaging; Preoperative analysis and possible prognosis; and Facilitation of the surgical plan. It can be concluded that AI, through its learning subfields, significantly helps in the planning of orthognathic surgery. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The object of this article is the promotion of territorial development through strategic planning. It presents an experience report on the structuring of the “Conecta399” program, which is structured through notions of public policy planning, territorial development, and network-territory as a planning strategy for the promotion of integrated regional and local development. The aim is to demonstrate, in an empirical case, the possibilities and limits of such a public policy. This is a case study permeated by theoretical references, focusing on the initial phases of the structuring cycle of such a process, with the purpose of discussing the association of the themes of planning and territorial development, as well as disseminating and improving the proposed model.
