Intelligent transport systems (ITS) explore the benefits of wearable devices to monitor driver health and aid in emergencies and advertising. It integrates multitasking, automatically finding a tourist spot, ordering food, and smartly turning on and off a vehicle. In a medical emergency, passengers can access nearby medical facilities, which are not available in the current ITS. To sort out this deficiency, develop a wearable device for autonomous vehicle driver health and passenger interaction system. As part of the embedded system, the wearable gadget is affixed to the vehicle driver and can control the vehicle's motor operation, accelerometers, and gyroscopes. Drivers can travel more comfortably and engage co-passengers by directing promotion and advertisement. The Internet of Vehicles (IoV) ability to monitor the surrounding environment promotes autonomous activities like determining a trajectory and responding accordingly. Security and transportation are vital components of today's technology-driven society. In addition to search and rescue, it may also be used for planetary exploration and material management. So, the Internet of Vehicles must drive independently in various dynamic situations. Unlocking the potential of the IoV navigation process, a dynamic access control architecture-based autonomous navigation system is proposed. It can perform assigned tasks while also reacting quickly to unexpected situations. The efficiency of AI-based IoV navigation is compared and studied using autonomous decision control systems. Based on the diffraction theory, the focusing properties of a radially polarized quadratic Bessel--Gaussian beam (QBG) with on-axis radial phase variance wavefront are investigated theoretically in the focal region of a high numerical aperture (NA) objective lens. The phase wavefront C and pupil beam parameter μ of QBG are the functions of the radial coordinate. The detailed numerical calculation of the focusing property of a QBG beam is presented. The numerical calculation shows that the beam parameter μ and phase parameter C have greater effect on the total electric field intensity distribution. It is observed that under the condition of different μ, evolution principle of focal pattern differs very remarkably on increasing C. Also, some different focal shapes may appear, including rhombic shape, quadrangular shape, two-spherical crust focus shape, two-peak shape, one dark hollow focus, two dark hollow focuses pattern, and triangle dark hollow focus, which find wide optical applications such as optical trapping and nanopatterning. This research aims to combine the effects of nanosilica and glass powder on the properties of self-compacting mortar at normal and at higher temperatures. The fine aggregate was replaced by waste glass powder at various percentage levels of 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%. The mechanical properties of self-compacting glass mortar (SGCM) were studied at elevated temperatures of 200, 400, 600 and 800 °C. Furthermore the effect of sudden and gradual cooling technique on the residual strength of glass mortar was also investigated In order to enhance the behavior of SCGM the nanosilica of 3% by weight of cement was added. From the results it was obtained that the glass powder replacement effectively contributed towards the thermal performance while the addition of nanosilica enhanced the mechanical performance. The enhanced physical properties were obtained mainly at the glass transition temperature thus showing the active participation of glass powders during high temperatures. Moreover the gradually cooled specimens exhibited improved strength characteristics than the suddenly cooled specimens. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this article, a modified Minkowski fractal antenna with a circular-shaped split-ring resonator (CSSRR) structure is proposed for wireless applications. Fractal geometry is accountable for creating dual-band resonance, and CSSRR is responsible for obtaining a middle resonance frequency band. The proposed antenna has a compact dimension of 23.5 × 26.5 × 1.6 mm3 to be fabricated and measured. Antenna iterations performed to achieve the desired frequency band. Antenna design has three resonance frequency bands at 2–2.7 GHz (700 MHz), 3.4–3.6 GHz (200 MHz) and 5.45–5.95 GHz (500 MHz), respectively. It can be used to cover 2.4/5 GHz wireless local area network (WLAN), 2.5/3.5 GHz wireless interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX), 2.1/2.3 GHz 3 generation (3G)/4 generation (4G) and 5.9 GHz safety applications. It is observed that the proposed antenna has good radiation characteristics in both E-plane and H-plane in the desired frequencies.
