Background: The One-Minute Preceptor (OMP) model to teach diagnostic reasoning and Reporter, Interpreter, Manager, Educator (RIME) framework to measure progress are used successfully in physician training programs. Currently, little is known about use of these tools in nurse practitioner (NP) training. Objectives: To answer the following: In NP trainees, does a standardized case presentation using the OMP, compared with the current approach, improve diagnostic reasoning skills as measured by the RIME framework competency evaluation in six weeks? Methods: Quality improvement project using Plan, Do, Study Act (PDSA) cycles performed at the Veteran’s Affairs NP Residency in Los Angeles. Eleven preceptors and 4 NP trainees participated in a 12-week intervention using OMP techniques to support trainee diagnostic reasoning scored weekly using the RIME framework. Preceptor knowledge of the OMP and RIME framework assessed pre-intervention was supplemented with a 1-hour workshop to address knowledge gaps. Preceptors performed return demonstrations of OMP techniques, RIME scoring, then educated trainees on OMP and RIME [PDSA Cycle 1; weeks 1-6]. PDSA Cycle 2 was one-to-one meetings between trainees and program director with preceptor feedback for individualized plans for improvement [weeks 7-12]. RIME scores, preceptor self-efficacy, and use of teaching skills were measured pre-and post-intervention and a survey completed by preceptors and trainees at the end of the study. Demographic characteristics and survey responses were assessed with descriptive statistics and paired sample t-test for mean scores pre- and post-intervention. Research shows that Buddhist precept adherence (i.e., abstaining from killing, stealing, sexual misconduct, lying, and intoxicant use) and meditation practice influence mental health outcomes. This study investigated how Buddhist precept adherence and meditation practice influenced the relationship between insecure attachment and depressive symptoms among Thai adolescents. A total of 453 Thai boarding-school students from 10th–12th grade were recruited from five boarding schools (two purposively selected Buddhist schools and three conveniently selected secular schools). They completed these tools: Experiences in Close Relationships Questionnaire—revised-18, Outcome-Inventory-21: Depression Subscale, Precept Practice Questionnaire, and Inner-Strength-Based Inventory: Meditation. A parallel mediation model analyzed the indirect effects of attachment anxiety and attachment avoidance on depression through precept adherence and meditation practice. The participants’ demographics were 16.35 ± 0.96 years, 88% female, and 89.4% Buddhist. The mean scores for attachment anxiety were 2.7 ± 1.1; attachment avoidance, 2.78 ± 1.2; overall regular precept adherence, 20.1 ± 4.4; regular but not daily meditation, 2.94 ± 1.3; and low depressive symptoms, 3.75 ± 3.4. The standardized indirect effects for attachment anxiety (β = 0.042, 95% CI = 0.022, 0.070) and avoidance (β = 0.024, 95% CI = 0.009, 0.046) on depressive symptoms through meditation and precept adherence were significant. Meditation practice had a significantly higher indirect effect size than precept adherence.

Relationships between faculty and clinical preceptors are crucial to nurse practitioner student education. Developing partnerships between faculty and preceptors is challenging for schools of nursing. One large nursing school invited 531 preceptors to participate in a survey identifying barriers and benefits to precepting nurse practitioner students. The survey-identified top barriers were related to effects on workload and productivity. Benefits to precepting included having a strong desire to teach and grow the profession and incentives such as access to educational programs and recognition through academic relationships. Survey information led to the development of a preceptor-centered portal on the school’s website.

The theory of team reasoning has been developed to resolve a long-lasting niggle in orthodox game theory. Despite its intuitive appeal, the theory has received little attention from mainstream game theorists and economists to date. We believe that this is so because of two theoretic issues, which the theory of team reasoning itself needs to resolve. One of these presents a worry that the theory achieves its explanatory and predictive success by abandoning ontological individualism — a fundamental precept in mainstream economics, including game theory. Here we argue that the theory of team reasoning is compatible with ontological individualism. We show that the core principles of the theory — those that give rise to the above worry — are in fact implicitly assumed in some branches of orthodox game theory itself. We also argue against the methodological approach that construes team reasoning as involving a transformation of the interacting players’ payoffs in modelled games.

Legal regulation of religious conversion has become one of the central human rights issues worldwide. Numerous countries, especially in South Asia, have enacted laws that prohibit proselytizating on the grounds of force, allurement, and misrepresentation. Critics have consistently relied on freedom of religion to oppose these laws, but courts in these jurisdictions have upheld them on the very grounds of religious freedom. The present Article explains the historical and ideological bases of this counterintuitive approach to religious freedom by focusing on the case of India. It argues that this approach is based on a historically evolving conception of religion associated with modern Hinduism, according to which all religions have an equal claim to spiritual truth. This precept of religious equality has come to constitute the political and judicial approach to religious freedom and religious conversion laws. The Article uses this interpretive insight to renew the normative critique of such laws.

Background While sustainability has become a universal precept in the development of global health security systems, supporting policies often lack mechanisms to drive policies into regular practice. ‘On-paper’ norms and regulations are to a great extent upheld by frontline workers who often lack the opportunity to communicate their first-hand experiences to decisionmakers; their role is an often overlooked, yet crucial, aspect of a sustainable global health security landscape. Initiatives and programs developing transdisciplinary professional skills support the increased bidirectional dialogue between these frontline workers and key policy- and decisionmakers which may sustainably narrow the gap between global health security policy design and implementation. Methods The International Federation of Biosafety Associations’ (IFBA) Global Mentorship Program recruits biosafety and biosecurity champions across Africa to provide local peer mentorship to developing professionals in their geographic region. Mentors and mentees complete structured one year program cycles, where they are provided with written overviews of monthly discussion topics, and attend optional virtual interactive activities. Feedback from African participants of the 2019–2020 program cycle was collected using a virtual Exit Survey, where aspects of program impact and structure were assessed. Results Following its initial call for applications, the IFBA Global Mentorship Program received considerable interest from professionals across the African continent, particularly in East and North Africa. The pilot program cycle matched a total of 62 individuals from an array of professional disciplines across several regions, 40 of which were located on the African continent. The resulting mentorship pairs shared knowledge, skills, and experiences towards translating policy objectives to action on the front lines. Mentorship pairs embraced multidisciplinary approaches to harmonize health security strategies across the human and animal health sectors. South-to-South mentorship therefore provided mentees with locally relevant support critical to translation of best technical practices to local capacity and work. Conclusion The IFBA’s South-to-South Global Mentorship Program has demonstrated its ability to form crucial links between frontline biosafety professionals, laboratory workers, and policy- and decision-makers across several implicated sectors. By supporting regionally relevant peer mentorship programs, the gap between health security policy development and implementation may be narrowed.

O artigo analisa as consequências do processo de implementação dos Colégios da Polícia Militar do Estado de Goiás, Brasil, a partir dos conceitos de controle do corpo e de instituições totais, mostrando como esse modelo autoritário está intimamente ligado à política de restrição da liberdade de expressão da comunidade escolar. O texto analisa os argumentos dos agentes públicos para a vertiginosa expansão desse modelo educacional e faz uma leitura crítica das regras de conduta aplicadas às unidades educacionais militarizadas no Estado. Constata-se que as normas aplicadas à comunidade escolar nestas unidades – como, por exemplo, a presença cotidiana de uma sequência de atividades garantidas por mecanismos de punição estabelecidos por uma hierarquia e o conjunto de regras que padronizam o visual dos estudantes e causam a perda de identidade – permitem controle rígido das ações de docentes e discentes, regrada a partir da tutela de oficiais designados pelo comando-geral da Polícia Militar, limitando inclusive a liberdade de expressão, considerado como preceito fundamental para uma educação cidadã.

El artículo 46 de la Constitución guatemalteca reconoció la preeminencia del derecho internacional de los derechos humanos sobre el derecho nacional. La Corte de Constitucionalidad, como intérprete máximo de la Constitución, se ha pronunciado sobre el contenido y alcances del citado precepto. En su jurisprudencia, la Corte ha sostenido dos criterios en torno al artículo 46 constitucional. En una primera época, que corresponde al periodo 1989-2011, el criterio imperante estuvo dominado por el concepto de jerarquía normativa, de forma que se tornaría invariable cuestionar siquiera el carácter supremo de la Constitución. Tal perspectiva, de base formalista, no logró evidenciar el sentido último del precepto bajo interpretación, en tanto puso el énfasis en la jerarquización de las normas, obviando la efectividad y tutela de los derechos humanos. La innovación jurisprudencial vendría en 2011 mediante la aplicación de la figura del bloque de constitucionalidad, de origen francés, con el que toda la discusión se enfocó en el interés por garantizar la máxima tutela de los derechos humanos, entendiendo que este habría sido el verdadero sentido del precepto constitucional. El criterio transformó la perspectiva de jerarquía por la de complementariedad, proveyendo una tutela amplia y expansiva de los derechos.

This paper attempts to address many misconceptions regarding the coffee controversy, which engulfed the Muslim world in the tenth/sixteenth century. It argues that rather than there simply being an oppositional binary of scholars permitting or forbidding coffee, in fact, a number of other positions can actually be discerned in the legal debate, namely that of recommendation and disapproval. Furthermore, it argues that besides holding the balance of power insofar as being the majority position, jurists who deemed coffee to be a permissible substance resorted to a number of epistemically powerful indicators to refute the prohibitionists, such as experimentation and the testimony of numerous individuals that the drink did not intoxicate or bring about any adverse side effects. In addition, by referring to some important but oft-ignored conventions pertaining to fatwās, the author argues that not all scholars typically labeled as being prohibitionists of coffee may have deemed the drink to be forbidden. Instead, many of them simply based their answers exclusively on the information provided to them by the questioner, in accordance with the legal precept that “the jurisconsult is the prisoner of the questioner.” This paper is unique in its depth and comprehensiveness as it studies all the existing scholarly views on coffee. Furthermore, it provides a detailed study of the proceedings of the Meccan Assembly. Regarding the assembly, I argue that the attending jurists actually disagreed on the drink’s ruling and that the different forms of evidence provided by the prohibitionists are not persuasive from a legal viewpoint.

The purpose of this study was to determine the value of Pancasila contained in the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa and to describe the internalization of the values of Pancasila and the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa in elementary schools and to find out the obstacles and solutions to internalizing the values of Pancasila based on local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa. The research will be carried out at SD Negeri 3 Ngantru, Trenggalek District, Trenggalek Regency, East Java by using a form of qualitative research with the intention of describing the activities of implementing character values through local wisdom in these elementary schools and the method used in this research is descriptive research method. The results of the research that have been carried out are the values of Pancasila which are contained in the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa starting from the first precept, namely the almighty deity where the art of Jaranan Turangga aims to give alms from the community to God Almighty by giving crops to people in need. . The second Pancasila value contained in the local wisdom of Jaranan Turangga Yaksa, namely the emergence of a sense of tolerance, friendship, social care, an attitude of love for peace among humans and also the application of the fifth Pancasila precept, namely social justice for all Indonesian people. Alfonso de Castro en su obra De potestate legis poenalis (1550) define la ley como producto de la voluntad y señala que su interés es la ley humana; sin embargo, en su teoría, la ley divina tiene un papel fundamental. En este trabajo describiremos la equivalencia que Castro establece entre la ley natural y la ley divina para analizar cómo deriva la ley humana de ellas. El objetivo es mostrar las implicaciones del concepto de ley como precepto de la voluntad en las polémicas surgidas en torno al descubrimiento y dominio del Nuevo Mundo, particularmente entre los misioneros franciscanos en Nueva España.

Tryphonin, Papinian and the regard for immaterial losses in the law of obligations. Contrary to the first impression given by the sources, there is no dispute among late classical lawyers as to whether a creditor can obtain compensation for an immaterial loss. Rather, the only disputed issue is whether a creditor can demand compensation for performance of monetary value even if it had benefitted a third party. Papinian and Paul affirm this with reference to the precept of bona fides. Tryphonin focuses on the creditor’s freedom of disposal: If the creditor can claim his interest in a hypothetical sale of the object of performance, he must also be entitled to do so if he wants to pass it on free of charge and thus prove his generosity.

EnglishThe penal precept may serve as a particularly apt means of repairing scandal, restoring justice and bring about rectification on the offender’s, among other reasons due to its markedly personal and temporal characteristics. However, it is rarely used as an instrument, perhaps due to a lack of awareness or a difficulty in understanding it within the CIC as a whole. Its use is recommended by the Vademecum of the Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith on certain points of procedure in dealing with cases of sexual abuse of minors committed by clerics. According to the information currently available, the reform project of Book VI of the Code of Canon Law favors the use of the penal precept, proposing in fact that that its application may be necessary in certain cases.

The term “epistemic framework” was coined by Kazimierz Jodkowski in 2004. That expression, together with the notion of epistemic frameworks, is the outcome of his prior analyses of the evolution-creation controversy. Epistemic frameworks are small, two- or three-element sets of the most general, historically changeable assumptions. These assumptions determine sine qua non conditions of scientific practice. Nowadays, two epistemic frameworks based on methodological naturalism are in competition with the epistemic frameworks of supernaturalism and artificialism. The epistemic framework of antisupernaturalistic naturalism adheres to the precept of accepting only naturalistic explanations for facts and processes. That precept is correlated with a proscription on accepting antinaturalistic explanations, construed in turn as a proscription on referring to supernatural causes. The epistemic framework of supernaturalism follows the precept of accepting not only naturalistic explanations for facts and processes, but also supernaturalistic ones — interventions by a divine being, namely God. The epistemic framework of anti-artificialistic naturalism observes the precept of accepting only naturalistic explanations for facts and processes. That precept is correlated with a proscription on accepting antinaturalistic explanations, construed in turn as a proscription on referring to artificial (intelligent) causes. The epistemic framework of artificialism embraces the precept of accepting, in the context of scientific research, not only natural causes, but artificial (intelligent) ones as well.

This article discusses the issue of abortion in the context of the dispute between progressive and neoconservative political forces in Brazil. The article analyses ADPF 442, a legal instrument known as a Motion of Noncompliance with a Fundamental Precept, which was lodged with the Supreme Court as part of a feminist litigation strategy in the country. The motion calls for the Supreme Court to decide on the constitutionality of the decriminalisation of abortion within the first 12 weeks of gestation. Methodologically, the analysis combines a literature review with participant observation and corpus linguistics analysis. ADPF 442 is considered a key event in the use of judicialisation to voice demands for women’s rights in current-day Brazil, and this work examines the testimonies as representative of the discourse and strategies at play in the broader field of abortion and its major actors, both for and against its decriminalisation.

Background As is common across the health professions, training of Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) requires experiential learning for interns/students to gain skills and demonstrate entry-level competency. Preceptors are essential to the experiential learning component of health care professional training, providing supervision and mentoring as students and interns gain the skills required for entry-level practice competency. Over the past 27 years, 47–73% of applicants to dietetic internships have received a placement. Practitioners willing to volunteer as preceptors are needed to generate more internship or experiential learning opportunities for the profession to continue to meet workforce demands. Methods The objective of this national-level online cross-sectional survey was to identify perceptions and attitudes associated with the preceptor role and incentives that might encourage precepting by current RDNs. A random sample of RDN and Nutrition and Dietetic Technicians, Registered (NDTR) professionals from the Commission on Dietetic Registration credentialed practitioner database were eligible to participate in the online survey. The main outcome measures included perceptions, attitudes, and preferred incentives to precept compared by preceptor experience categories (current, former, never precepted). Comparisons of perceptions, attitudes, and preferred incentives were made between preceptor experience categories using Chi-square and ANOVA. Results Of 2464 invitations, 308 participants had complete variables for analysis. Top incentives were the opportunity to earn continuing education units (65.9%) and having expenses paid to attend a national conference (49.5%). Significantly more (P P Conclusions Incentives to serve as a preceptor differ based on “current”, “former”, or “never” precepted status. Promoting and strategizing solutions to the current imbalance between the greater number of dietetic internship applicants compared to preceptors should be targeted based on preceptor status to retain current preceptors, encourage former preceptors to return and recruit professionals who have never served.

Overall healing, harmony, and balance within Ndee (Apache) communities can be understood through the Ndee term Gózhó—“beauty, balance, and harmony.” Beyond this Ndee cultural precept, however, how are such states of Gózhó achieved, whether in the past or today? Within archaeological research on Ndee lands, achieving healing and promoting health is crucial to overall individual and community well-being. Healing activities that contribute to overall states of Gózhó can take many forms. As Rybak and Decker-Fitts (2009:334) suggest, “Native American healing practices exemplify key cultural perspectives and influence the identity development of Native American individuals.” Such healing practices including the use of yellow cattail pollen (hádńdín; Typha spp.) for protection are based on traditions and perspectives typically outside the mainstream of Western psychological tenets, yet they can have significant impact on the sense of well-being for Ndee communities. Ndee cultural specialists with the White Mountain Apache Tribe demonstrate that such traditions and perspectives are not only necessary for continued community well-being but are powerful conduits amplifying the past as present, which contribute to the ongoing cyclical and reciprocal nature of the ways Ndee communities have related to Nígosdzán—Mother Earth—since time immemorial.

The Relations of Authority and Traditions in Pancasila Discourse on Tafsir Al-Azhar Revealing the reasons and describing Hamka's interpretation behind his inconsistency and ambiguity towards Pancasila discourse in Tafsir Azhar and several of his works is the aim of this article. On one side, Hamka accepted Pancasila (1951), but on the other side, Hamka firmly rejected Pancasila (1957-1966). This paper will highlight the phenomenon above using the Maudhui Al-Farmawi method of interpretation and philosophical Hermeneutic Theory of Hans Georg Gadamer. This research proves that the existence of a relationship of authority and tradition encompassing Hamka has implications for inconsistencies (acceptance and rejection) in Pancasila discourse in his primary work Tafsir Al-Azhar and the other several secondary works. In this case, the writer concludes that Hamka, through authority and tradition, undergoes a formation and transformation within himself, so that he no longer tends to impose his objective and reflective attitudes on some of his subjects. However, he is also open-ended in a way that lets others speak differently, so that it has implications for the intersection and integration (fusion) horizons of understanding. Hamka Transformation in the context of Pancasila can be understood that Hamka is an idealistic figure in understanding the first principle of "God Almighty" and a compromise figure in understanding the second to the fifth precept.

Teledentistry adalah pemeriksaan dan konsultasi pasien ke dokter gigi tanpa melalui kunjungan tatap muka, melainkan dengan bantuan aplikasi online. Tujuan kegiatan adalah dapat membantu dan memfasilitasi mahasiswa Co-ass Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Andalas dalam memenuhi persyaratan diagnosis lisan melalui daring (teledentistry) di masa pandemi covid 19. Kegiatan dilaksanakan berupa pemeriksaan/ screening terhadap pasien yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa Co-ass yang didampingi oleh preseptor Rumah Sakit pada Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Andalas (Dosen). Kegiatan yang akan dilakukan terdiri atas: penyuluhan, koordinator, pendampingan dan monitoring pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan ini dapat memenuhi kebutuhan pasien akan pemeriksaan gigi dan mulut, serta memperluas akses ke perawatan gigi. Kesehatan gigi dan mulut penting bagi setiap individu, terutama untuk menjalankan fungsi seperti makan, berbicara, estetika dan perasaan nyaman sepanjang hari. Pandemi Covid-19 membatasi kondisi sosial masyarakat, termasuk kebutuhan mereka untuk mendapatkan pelayanan gigi dan mulut dari dokter gigi. Selain itu, dokter gigi merupakan salah satu pekerjaan yang paling berisiko tertular Covid-19 dari pasien. Melalui kegiatan teledentistry seorang dokter gigi dalam melakukan anamnesa kepada pasien, pemeriksaan klinis dilakukan melalui konsultasi melalui gambar dan video, diagnosis sebagai informasi awal dalam merencanakan perawatan lebih lanjut, dan perawatan suportif seperti edukasi pasien.

El propósito del presente ensayo ha sido fundamentar, a base de un análisis, la relación existente entre la poesía de Rubén Darío y la pintura. Se partió desde el precepto “ut pictura poesis” de Horacio y del concepto de la écfrasis, que, desde los tiempos de los clásicos grecolatinos, han guiado el estudio sobre la naturaleza y correspondencia de las denominadas artes hermanas: La poesía y la pintura. Para trabajar dicha tesis se hizo una selección de obras de carácter ecfrástico, tanto poemas como cuentos, con la intención de identificar los principales símbolos literarios y poéticos que remiten a la pintura, y así fuera posible confirmar y analizar la riqueza de la Obra Rubendariana en cuanto a los rasgos pictóricos que la residen.

Telemedicine is now an established mode of clinical care for most medical specialties, and clinical teachers must teach and precept learners in this modality. However, faculty need training on how best to teach students when caring for patients via telemedicine. Effectively incorporating learners into telemedicine visits to optimize their education is a critical skill for clinical teachers. In this article, we review 12 practical tips unique to telemedicine to engage and educate undergraduate medical education learners in building their clinical skills. We outline synchronous and asynchronous elements before, during, and after the patient encounter to facilitate teaching while improving patient care. These principles can also be adapted for teaching in other health professions as well as postgraduate medical education.

This article seeks to analyze the impacts of the “Incidental Provisional Protection on the Interim Order in the Arguition of Non-Compliance with a Fundamental Precept 635”, which conditioned the conduct of police operations in the peripheral communities of the city of Rio de Janeiro, during the COVID-19 pandemic, to the need of written request. Historically, it is important to emphasize that there is a governmental indifference in guaranteeing assistance to favela residents, who live in a state of calamity in the face of police operations carried out daily in these spaces. The research methodology is qualitative, with journalistic and bibliographic research, through the analysis of scientific articles and national and international documents. The result obtained is that, with the decision of Minister Edson Fachin, in view of the decrease of operations in marginalized regions, there was, in the first 15 days, a decline in the number of deaths of inhabitants of the communities and police officials, which demonstrates a successful momentary decision.

El derecho a la vivienda digna en Colombia ha sido objeto de una evolución jurisprudencial desde la perspectiva que los derechos fundamentales lo han desarrollado desde su misma naturaleza, situación está en donde para las decisiones judiciales o administrativas respectivamente, no cuenta únicamente lo que se deriva del derecho a la vivienda digna en estrecha relación con la conservación y supervivencia digna del ser humano, sino también aquellas razones que se desprenden de otros derechos y bienes re- levantes desde el problema que afecta en concreto la subsistencia misma de toda persona y su familia. Ello es así por no contar con los elementos básicos que implica el goce de una vivienda digna, entendida bajo el alcance que determinó la Sentencia T-958 de 2001, como todo un entorno digno y apropiado dirigido a satisfacer la necesidad humana de disponer de un sitio de vivienda propio o ajeno que incorpore condiciones suficientes para que quienes habiten allí, puedan realizar de manera digna su proyecto de vida.

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo tiene por objetivo enriquecer la comprensión de la imputabilidad, específicamente, conceptualizando los desórdenes mentales, examinando sus clases e identificando las capacidades agenciales que afectan y que son cruciales para poder establecer que una persona es inimputable. Cumplir este objetivo exige reinterpretar el artículo 10 Nº 1 del Código Penal chileno. Argumento que este precepto debe ser comprendido de manera que le permita cumplir la función que le corresponde: excluir la culpabilidad cuando el sujeto no posee las capacidades necesarias para una conducta culpable. Propondré una distinción clave entre distintos tipos de desórdenes mentales que le permitirá a dicho precepto cumplir esta función crítica en un derecho penal de la culpabilidad.

This article describes and analyzes the role of Al Walidaturrahmah Orphanage in Samarinda in implementing a just and civilized humanity principle. Also, it tries to find out and analyze the forms of coaching and patterns of character development given to the children at AlWalidaturrahmah Orphanage in Samarinda. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach, using primary data, namely the head and the manager of the orphanage. Secondary data sources were obtained through relevant photos and documents of Al-Walidaturrahmah Orphanage. Data collection techniques were done through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were collected, reduced, and displayed before conclusions were taken. The study found out that the efforts of AlWalidaturrahmah orphanage in implementing the principles to foster children were quite good. Foster children feel treated fairly and well by the parties. The efforts to develop the institutional foundation for AlWalidaturrahmah orphanage are good enough and by the provisions, because it has been carried out well, and the Al-Walidaturrahmah orphanage children carry out appropriate activities to face their future in society later. The pattern of fostering character education at the Al-Walidaturrahmah orphanage can be said to have been carried out well because the AlWalidaturrahmah orphanage children carry out activities by the second precept and have the character to face their future in society.

O presente artigo analisa o conceito fundamental de ação com o objetivo de identificar o real sentido constitucional da ADPF, e em cotejo com a própria norma da Constituição, haja vista sua avaliação doutrinária quase sempre ser feita apenas com base na Lei 9.882/99, que é vista como criadora de uma espécie de controle concentrado de constitucionalidade. Identifica uma outra forma de bloqueio legislativo, além dos apontados por Rosalind Dixon na presente Revista, em sua análise sobre o “argumento central da forma fraca do controle de constitucionalidade”. O estudo sustenta que a norma constitucional da ADPF trouxe, em verdade, uma importante e inovadora garantia fundamental, de forma a enriquecer a jurisdição constitucional como instrumento de democracia participativa, mas que foi bloqueada pela sua regulamentação legal, exigindo ou uma alteração da lei ou o exercício da forma forte de controle de constitucionalidade por parte da Corte constitucional no sentido do resgate de sentido normativo.

Preceptors play a vital role in nurse practitioners' (NPs) clinical education. Based on Bandura's self-efficacy theory, improvement of NPs' self-efficacy is likely to lead to positive changes in behavior. Thus, it can enhance their willingness to precept and increase readiness for a preceptor role. The aims of this pilot study were to develop an NP preceptor training program and to evaluate the program following implementation. The one-minute preceptor (OMP) model has been used among other health care disciplines and can promote effective and efficient communication. In the first phase of this pilot study, an NP preceptor training program to teach NPs about the OMP model was created. For the second phase of this project, a pilot test of the program was implemented and evaluated. Nine clinical NPs participated in the study. Surveys were administered at three different points to determine whether the participants' self-efficacy as a preceptor and willingness to become a preceptor improved after participation. Results demonstrated that NP preceptor training improved multiple aspects of participants' self-efficacy as NP preceptors and positively affected their decision to participate in preceptorship.

Managing plural and multicultural diversity of citizens is an obligation mandated by the constitution and the third precept of Pancasila. One of the efforts to care for diversity within the framework of Indonesian unity is through interfaith dialogue which is packaged in fostering religious harmony. With the issuance of Village law 16 of 2014 has provided space for aspirations to manage the diversity of citizens through the deleberative democracy process in the village budget policy mechanism in Village Development Conference. This research has found grassroots aspirations that are included in the Village Fund policy in Klinting Village, Banyumas district. Although it is not the main aspiration in the village budget policy priorities, it is at least a quality aspiration that is included in the village fund policy. The issue of religion in the form of interreligious dialogue between Hindu-Islamic religions is still a common thread in the realities of policy and the aspirations of people's lives, that is the aspiration demonstration that can be achieved from this research.

Commentators who lament that Kant offers no concrete guidelines for how to set up an ethical community typically neglect Kant’s claim in Religion that the ethical state of nature can transform into an ethical community only by becoming a people of God—i.e., a religious community, or “church.” Kant’s argument culminates by positing four categorial precepts for church organization. The book’s next four sections can be read as elaborating further on each precept, respectively. Kant repeatedly warns against using religious norms to control people. Accordingly, he explicitly forbids the true church from adopting any standard form of political governance; it must aim to be radically non-political. Nevertheless, churches organized according to Kant’s non-coercive theocratic model contribute something essential to the ultimate political goal of achieving perpetual peace and an end to war: by approaching the ultimate ethical goal (the highest good), the true church offers an antidote to normative fragmentation.

Existen diversos motivos que generan brechas y debilidad en la competitividad del país turísticamente y en la explotación de atractivos naturales, culturales y sociales. Estos son: la ineficiente explotación de productos y servicios a escala internacional; no ver al turismo como una fuente de ingresos para la economía, la poca promoción, estrategias de bajo impacto, falta de calidad e innovación. Bajo este precepto la presente investigación tiene el objetivo de analizar el impacto de los eventos innovadores como medio para dinamizar el sector turístico en una nación, considerando que la explotación turística genera un desarrollo económico sostenible sin el perjuicio del desgaste de los recursos naturales, para lo cual se aplicó la metodología cualitativa de revisión literaria de fuentes secundarias de alto impacto, lo que garantiza la calidad de la información consultada y analizada, donde se pudo concluir que en el marco de este tipo de turismo se generan nuevas propuestas con contenidos culturales innovadores y sofisticados, donde la creación de eventos turísticos innovadores acrecentará la dinamización de destinos por medio de sus visitantes y el desarrollo económico a nivel país.

The low activation of the reform power in the Spanish constitutional order has been justified by the doctrine, among other reasons, by the excessive rigidity and complexity of our reform procedures, and more particularly the one enshrined in art. 168. In this work we reflect upon the modification of this precept, given the existence of a classic debate about the most appropriate procedure to undertake this task. More specifically, we raise the possibility that, on certain occasions, its reform could be carried out through the procedural technique provided for in art. 167 of the Spanish Constitution. Our proposal, based on a literal interpretation of the precept combined with a teleological interpretation allows us, on the one hand, to preserve respect for the wording of the norm and, on the other hand, to keep in mind the purpose with which it was incorporated into our Constitution. The concern in the study of human identification has been present for centuries. Although the interest has undergone transformations over time, it has connected multiple disciplines from anthropology and archeology to criminology and forensic science to cultural heritage and medical sciences. Scar evidence of identity should be considered in association with alternative points for identification, although there are cases where the nature, presence or even position of a scar/mark is odd or uncommon, and therefore its value gets greatly enhanced. Lately, we have witnessed an increase in the use of such marks as a means of identification within criminal forensic investigations. Tattoos can lead to recognition when their pattern, placement and color are analyzed and interpreted. In this respect, tattoos, decisively, starting from the singularity and individuality and distinctive patterns, corroborated to the placements which differ from one another can be used to ascertain identities. The recognition of an individual may appear as a primary precept of humankind and consequently, the accurate capacity to acknowledge the fact that identification is a genuine continuous phase.

Background and purpose An advanced pharmacy practice experience (APPE) in a community pharmacy setting is required in all accredited doctor of pharmacy program curricula in the United States. This setting often presents unique challenges to precepting students that may hinder the development and availability of robust learning experiences. This qualitative review discusses perceived challenges and potential solutions to maintaining a meaningful community rotation experience for students based on published literature and reported preceptor experiences. It also explores the clinical impact of APPE students in community pharmacy. Educational activity and setting St. Louis College of Pharmacy (STLCOP) provides a systematic approach to student orientation and evaluation for community pharmacy APPEs. This allows all pharmacy students to be held to the same educational outcome standard. Site preceptors are responsible for communicating site-specific expectations and providing frequent formative feedback to students throughout the five-week rotation. Findings Community rotation students spent approximately 6400 hours providing almost 30,000 patient interventions over two years, indicating a potential benefit in quality of care at student-hosted sites. Despite evidenced benefits of the presence of pharmacy students in community pharmacies, some pharmacists hesitate to precept students due to anticipated obstacles of this additional responsibility. Summary This review explored the community practice APPE structure offered at STLCOP and describes the patient impact that students have made during this clinical rotation. Data seem to indicate a positive return on investment for having APPE students in community pharmacy.
