Introduction: In Childcare Nursing Consultations, nurses monitor children's growth and development, an essential practice for health promotion and prevention. However, there are weaknesses in their implementation, such as gaps in records and deficits in the preventive assessment of important outcomes in childhood, such as obesity and malnutrition. Objective: To identify nurses' actions in childcare Nursing consultations in the Primary Care network of a municipality in the semi-arid region of northeastern Brazil. Methods: A qualitative and descriptive-exploratory study carried out with 9 nurses working in the Family Health Strategies of Primary Care in a municipality from the state of Rio Grande do Norte, in the inland of the semi-arid region of northeastern Brazil. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews between January and March 2021 and analyzed using Thematic Content Analysis. Results: A total of 5 analysis and discussion categories emerged: welcoming for the bond; anthropometry and physical examination; child development surveillance; health education: caring attitude; and difficulties completing the children's health booklets. Conclusion: It was noticed that nurses are able to carry out a comprehensive assessment of children's health, permeating care through bonding, welcoming and health education. It is evidenced that there are deficiencies in completing the booklets and that the Nursing Process does not follow the expected structure, which may compromise care quality. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

NURSING students , *PRIMARY health care , *PREGNANT women , *PRENATAL care , *INTERNSHIP programs - Abstract
The access of pregnant women to prenatal care, from the beginning of pregnancy, constitutes a strategy for the early diagnosis of alterations, thus contributing to the reduction of maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality. This is an experience report of nursing students in the 9th semester, in the application of the Nursing Process to prenatal consultations, in a Primary Health Care unit, in the city of Feira de Santana, Bahia. The experience for the construction of this report emerged through the realization of prenatal consultations, during the supervised internship, carried out between the period from March 29 to June 15, 2022. During this internship, approximately 23 pregnant women were monitored, in the different phases of the gestational cycle. Carrying out prenatal consultations during the internship was essential for our training as future professional nurses, as it made it possible to recognize and overcome some limitations. Perform the construction and content validation of a systematic teaching instrument for nursing care. Methodological and descriptive study, carried out with professors of the nursing course of a Public Higher Education Institution. A semistructured questionnaire prepared on Google Forms was used. The quantitative analysis was performed by calculating the percentage of interobserver agreement and descriptive statistics, while the qualitative analysis was done through theoretical references. The instrument was built by the researchers and validated by judges. Eleven (68.75%) judges participated in the validation and all answers obtained an interobserver agreement percentage greater than 90%. The judges' suggestions were analyzed and inserted, with a view to their use in all points of the health care network. The instrument was built with content validation and requires critical and reflective reasoning for its applicability during practical classes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Nursing in the management and recovery of patients with musculoskeletal alterations is crucial for their rehabilitation. In the case of long bone fractures, the tibia is most affected due to its location and lack of supportive tissues. The prevalence is higher in diaphyseal fractures with 14 to 22/100,000 cases, compared to 10-32/100,000 for proximal and 9/100,000 for distal fractures. The main causes are traffic accidents. This study aims to determine the role of nursing in the management of a patient with musculoskeletal alteration, oriented in Dorothea Orem's self-care theory. A clinical-descriptive study was conducted based on the patient's medical history, utilizing the Nursing Process Approach (PAE) for nursing interventions, guided by Orem's theory. The case involved a 62-year-old female patient diagnosed with an open diaphyseal fracture of the left tibia, treated by reduction and fixation with a diode. Wound cleaning was performed every 48 hours, and the patient was monitored in the hospital ward. After discharge, follow-up was conducted at a health center. Nursing designed care plans using the PAE, starting from the self-care difficulty. The patient achieved fracture consolidation after 16 weeks.

Objective: to describe the attitudes of Nursing professionals towards the Nursing Diagnosis. Method: observational, descriptive, cross-sectional study in a hospital in the Canary Islands (Spain). Position on Nursing Diagnosis is a validated instrument to measure the attitudes of nurses towards the Nursing Diagnosis with excellent reliability. It is made up by a coded scale of 20 pairs of opposite adjectives in which the interviewed must position himself; extreme scores 1 (most negative attitude) and 7 (most positive attitude); 4 middle value; 140 maximum score and 20 minimum one. Reliability analysis was performed using Cronbach's alpha and inter-element correlation. Frequency distribution for qualitative variables and proportion for quantitative variables. Association analysis. Results: the study population was N=170. The scale has shown high reliability (a=0.955) as well as adequate power to explain the total variance (66.13%). The global mean score was 74.41 (sd=23.53); the worst attitude was Routine (µ=2.91; sd=1.55) while the best attitude was Positive (µ=4.20; sd=1.56). Conclusions: the attitudes of the nurses in our environment are similar to other contexts, with global scores lower than the average. The increase in academic training and the use of the Nursing Diagnosis in the work environment seem to improve the attitudes of this professionals, mainly with regard to acceptance, comfort, ease, relevance, validity, creativity and gratification. Introduction: The clinical history is a record for monitoring the assistance provided by health professionals, which has legal and professional implications and is considered the cornerstone of the hospital information system. This must meet a series of characteristics or requirements in terms of content, order, documentary standardization and legibility which, in nursing practice, allow scientific knowledge as well as clinical practice to be related. Objective: To measure the quality of the nursing records of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a public institution in the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina. Method: An Observational, analytical, and cross-sectional study. 396 nursing records, selected by random sampling, were analyzed. A comparison grid was used to identify compliance with the quality requirements of the registry determined according to legal and institutional requirements. Results: A general compliance with the quality criteria of 71.95% average (minimum compliance) was found, with the priority intervention areas being the recording of nursing diagnoses and the response to nursing care. The shift and the training level showed a relationship with better general indexes in the different dimensions. Conclusions: It is expected that the results of this study can contribute to the identification of areas of intervention to improve the recording of care and activities performed by nursing professionals, while seeking to increase resources to address the issue.
