Transisi Pola Konsumsi; Buying Habits Pada Masa Work From Home (WFH) Karyawan di Kota Denpasar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh varian produk, branding dan store switching terhadap buying habits karyawan di Kota Denpasar. Populasi penelitian adalah karyawan yang sudah pernah belanja online. Sampel berjumlah 100 orang dengan metode insidental sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner yang disebarkan secara online. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis kuantitatif dalam perhitungannya menggunakan progam software Smart PLS 3.0. Pada hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan varian produk, branding dan store switching berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap buying habits karyawan di Kota Denpasar. Sehingga penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa pola konsumsi buying habits pada masa work from home karyawan di Kota Denpasar saat ini mulai berpindah belanja secara online.

The recent trend in the Indian menswear market has witnessed the infusion of western styles. Result of this is a promising market in India for men’s fashion accessories like caps, sunglasses, bracelets, rings etc. One among the accessories is earrings for man. This product category has got line extensions like studs, hoops, non-piercing magnetic type and piercing studs etc. Keeping in consideration the whooping growth of the men’s earrings market in the online purchase platforms, this study is done with an objective to explore the reviews for this product category to arrive at some insights. For this study descriptive research design has been adopted. Using the scraper tool in Python software, the data (user’s reviews for men’s earrings) was collected from the top two online vendors in India (Amazon and Flipkart). Sentiment analysis is done with R software using the text analytical package “sentiment”. Then the sentiment scores was deployed in ANOVA to test for any significant differences in star ratings and the product variant purchased by the customer taking the Comment Sentiment Scores and Title Sentiment Score. The results have shown that there is a significant difference between the star ratings and Comment Sentiment Scores, Title Sentiment Score. Bivariate correlation is applied to test the relationship between Comment Sentiment Score, Title Sentiment Score and star ratings. The result revealed that star ratings, Comment Sentiment Scores and Title Sentiment Score have a significant relationship with each other.

UKM Pempek Ogan is a small industry engaged in the food sector. This UKM was founded in 2007. The main problem of UKM Pempek Ogan Palembang is the slow and monotonic development and business innovation i.e. the promotion strategy implemented is not well designed to increase sales and compete with similar businesses. Consequently, the business experienced declined sales and therefore, reducing revenues if appropriate measures are not taken. The purpose of this research is to develop new strategies, marketing strategies, by creating new innovations for UKM Pempek Ogan Palembang using Blue Ocean Strategy. The Blue Ocean Strategy is a method to develop a new value innovation that is not yet owned by competitors to divert from intense competition among business actors. The BOS method has several steps in its application, namely the creation of a strategy canvas, the creation of a four-step framework i.e. eliminating, enhancing, reducing, and creating, of the creation of three characteristics of a good strategy, namely focus, divergence and motto. Our findings from the strategy canvas suggested that there are several indicators whose values ​​are below competitors. The new innovation applied to UKM Pempek Ogan Palembang as a diversion from competitors by the framework of four steps is to reduce a product price. Moreover, product variants, social media advertising, sales promotion, employee appearance, cleanliness and comfort of the place as well as poor-designed-banners should be improved. “Café & Resto Benteng Buah Naga” (“Dragon Fruit Fortress Café & Resto”) presents an innovation based on dragon fruit products, then the initial perception will determine consumer's motivation to visit the place. The research purposed to determine the consumer’s characteristics and to state the influence of motivation and perception on purchasing decisions. The research was conducted at “Café & Resto Benteng Buah Naga” in Banyuwangi Regency, East Java Province. The sampling method was accidental sampling with 100 respondents. The data analysis used was path analysis. The results show that the majority of respondents were women (68%) with the status as a student who has an income maximum IDR 1,000,000. The motivation variable partially affects the purchase decision, as it obtains a sig value of 0.036 which means < 0.05. Variable perception obtains a sig value of 0.000 which means < 0.05, partially significant effect also on the purchase decision. It could be concluded that the consumer’s motivation and perception influence purchasing decisions at “Café & Resto Benteng Buah Naga”. The advice given is that “Café & Resto Benteng Buah Naga” continues to develop more dragon fruit-based product variants and become their special menu at the restaurant.

The trend towards individualized products leads to increased product variants and on-demand manufacturing. Assembly workers have to cope with constantly changing work instructions without impacting production speed. This paper explores the learnability of assembly tasks. A user study with transfer and 24h delayed retention tests compares how effectively assembly tasks can be learned using 1) an assistance system with digital work instructions and 2) paper-based work instructions. The results help to derive better structured work instructions and general recommendations for the design of assistance systems in the context of manual assembly.

This research aims to make a variant of Uli Ketan- Indonesian traditional sticky rice. Fried Uli ketan becomes one of Indonesian famous traditional foods especially in West Java known as “Ulen”. Commonly, Sundanese people made Uli from some ingredients such as glutinous rice, coconut, and water. However, in this study, the authors tried to remake the ingredients by adding red kidney beans and oyster mushroom as its filling. Based on a survey, Uli ketan is still familiar among community although 66,8% of the respondents said that they were bored with the taste and display of traditional Uli. If this condition is not taken into account, probably Uli Ketan will not sustain within the community. Thus, modification is needed to develop its flavor and shape in order to make the food more interesting. As result of a survey conducted by the authors show that 97,1% of respondents agreed that Uli Ketan should be more varied in terms of flavor and shape. Based on primary data, the authors combined the taste of traditional Uli Ketan with a new taste and made it into a fresh shape which are more desired by consumers. Nevertheless, the author maintained the same nutrient value of fiber and protein in the product and authenticity in the making process. This research applied experimental method by finding the best recipe formula through using testing product quality according to Marsum (2005). At the last, to keep the product storage longer, it was packaged by using freezing method.

Since assembly processes are continuously increasing in complexity due to the growing number of product variants, the importance of digital assistance systems for handling complexity is growing to support human work in a suitable manner. However, the configuration of the assistance system for the increasing number of product variants can be particularly complex and time consuming. This paper therefore presents a concept to support the implementation of new product variants in existing digital assistance systems in a data-based approach by facilitating the process. Thus, an approach for possible support options depending on the individual data management of companies is identified and presented. The developed approach is examined on a conceptual level which is generally applicable. Finally, to identify the most suitable support within the presented approach, a benefit-oriented evaluation is derived as an outlook.

More individualized products challenge rigidly linked assembly lines. Higher changeability is expected from so-called matrix assembly structures to cope with high product variants. To provide the needed degree of changeability, options of changes have to be considered during the design phase of the system. Since matrix assembly structures are complex, it is difficult to find the best way to provide the needed changeability. To identify changeable elements, functions and relations of a matrix assembly system, this paper uses an approach based on the system theory. Subsequently, options of changes are derived and presented.

Nowadays, manufacturers aim at satisfying diverse and changing customer demand in order to survive in the competitive market. An approach that combines several manufacturing concepts, including product platform formation and hybrid manufacturing, is proposed in order to effectively manage the product variety. A genetic algorithm-based model is introduced to design the optimal or near-optimal platform for large sets of products and features that can be further manufactured by additive and/or subtractive manufacturing to be customized into different product variants. An illustrative example is used to demonstrate the model. The proposed model leads to better management of product proliferation.

PT. Java Suisan Indah is an agribusiness company engaged in eel farming where the products are purposed to export market. The company is still facing difficulties in fulfilling the quality stock of eel raw materials, due to high mortality in the cultivation stage and availability of eel seeds as well . The goals of this study are (i) to identifies internal and external factors that influence the business development system of PT. JSI and, (ii) to formulating the alternative strategies in order to prioritize business development that can be applied at PT. JSI. The sampling method use s a purposive sampling technique where respondents act as expert adjustments. The results of this study are concluded; (i) PT JSI must maintain prices and improve the quality of eel processed products by prioritizing distinctive flavors accompanied by diverse product variants to increase international consumer loyalty to PT JSI's products. This strategy based on QSPM analysis obtained a STAS value of 6.862 ; (ii) intensifying and promoting processed eel products through social media for the domestic market to expand sales and be widely known to the public. This strategy based on QSPM analysis obtained a STAS value of 6.514. And (iii) applied a plasma core-core partnership model between PT JSI as the core and eel farmers as plasma. This partnership process is carried out to meet and increase the need for a stock of raw materials to produce eel forceps. This strategy based on QSPM analysis obtained a STAS value of 6.426.

The scientific work focuses on the study of Bandung through data analysis technique multiple linear regression inclusion of samples obtained were 108 respondents using purposive sampling. Oyster mushrooms are one type of mushroom that is cultivated commercially in Indonesia. Oyster mushroom is one type of mushroom that is commercially cultivated in Indonesia. Oyster mushrooms can be harvested within 1-3 months. So that from the business side of oyster mushrooms is very profitable. Namur because the business capital to buy mushroom seeds supplied from outside the area is reduced, then from 5 mushroom farmers who survive only 2 farmers. One of them is in the village of Umban Sari Atas, Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City. For this reason, a larger business capital is needed than before. This is where the idea arises to increase the variation in production from the mushroom. One of them is using baglog mushroom waste which has not been utilized into mushroom baglog briquettes. By using baglog waste technology, oyster mushrooms can be broken down and converted into mushroom baglog briquettes. The oyster mushroom baglog waste briquettes of course can be one of the alternative fuels that can be sold and made into a variant of production other than mushrooms. Thus it is expected to increase the income of mushroom farmers. In this PKM some of the problems faced are: (1) increased utilization of baglogjamur waste as a product variant of fungal development that has not been utilized or baglog waste in order to increase production and income. (2) Procurement of manual press machines to get the same baglog mushroom briquette density. The output of this PKM is the introduction of oyster baglog mushroom waste decomposition technology as the development of mushroom products and the manufacture of mushroom briquettes to oyster mushroom farmers in Upper Umban Sari village and the procurement of manual press machines for making baglog mushroom briquettes. In addition, from the PKM, there is an increase in the production of mushroom farmers, if previously the farmers can harvest 3-4 kg of mushrooms a day, now farmers can harvest mushrooms 5-6 kg per day. After using the combustion process using briquettes from processed baglog mushroom waste, farmers can also save costs for purchasing fuel (wood, rice husk) of Rp. 120,000 for the process of heating and steam mushroom seeds every month.

This paper introduces a new method to help designers assess the impact of changes to a product platform when introducing a new variant. The method evaluates a platform design by investigating how changing some components will impact other platform design perspectives such as material, function, manufacturing processes and assembly time. To assess the usefulness of this method, it was applied to assess platform changes resulting from successive generations of scanner heads from two manufacturers. The method indicated that one manufacturer improved their scanner head design by improving the functionality of its components and assembly time. Whereas, the other manufacturer's new scanner head used more material and manufacturing processes without benefiting other design perspectives. Compared to existing product family evaluation methods which focus only on maximising commonality between product variants, the proposed method considers potential platform design improvements and assesses them from multiple design perspectives before deciding on reusing existing components or implementing the new design. The information from this method will also complement existing commonality indices.

Many real manufacturing systems process a large number of product variants in the same flow. These products may differ in some optional components; consequently, the processing time on a machine differs from one product to the next, and the need to prepare one or more machines before beginning or after the finishing of jobs is frequently presented. The preparation activities are: machine adjustment and feeders preparation to process a next job, dismantling after a previous job, machine calibrating, inspection of accessories or tools, cleaning of the machines and adjacent areas, etc. In the scheduling theory, the time required to shift from one job to another on a given machine is defined as additional production cost or setup time. The scheduling problems, which consider the setup times, have a high computational complexity. Pinedo (2008) presents a proof of the NP-hardness of the single machine case with setup consideration. They are more complex when the resource model has the parallel machine environment.
