The Gifted and talented students who have a superior potential compared to their peers need a differentiated curriculum. It is considered that the talent domain, potential of intelligence, interest, and development status of the gifted and talented students should be determined, and the curriculum which is to be applied should be differentiated. In this respect, the purpose of the study is to differentiate the social studies curriculum of 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th grades in line with the characteristics, academic, cognitive, and affective expectations of gifted and talented students. In the study, the social studies curriculum is differentiated with the integrated curriculum differentiation method. The document review method, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was used in the data collection process of the study. The content analysis method was used when analyzing the data. A differentiation strategy was determined for the whole class level and for each learning domain separately in accordance with the general characteristics of gifted and talented students, The determined differentiation strategy is composed of affective domain and value objectives, along with thinking, study, and creativity skills. Based on differentiation strategies, cognitive domain, affective domain, value, and skill objectives were determined. Enrichment and reduction practices were made by retaining the present achievements in the curriculum. In the curriculum, in which 68 achievements were differentiated in total, students' creativity, innovation, study and thinking skills, and awareness for national components and social values were prioritized. Social studies curriculum in line with the integrated curriculum model is thought to be an original and framework model for teaching social studies to gifted and talented students.

The purpose of this study is to present lifelong learning program proposals based on an event or phenomenon that pre-service teachers have experienced. The research is a qualitative study and phenomenology was determined as the research design. The study group consists of 62 pre-service teachers studying at the education faculty of a state university. Criterion sampling method was adopted. 4 demographic (gender, age, department and grade level) questions were asked in order to obtain the program proposals of the pre-service teachers for the lifelong learning needs of the society and the participants were asked to make a lifelong learning program proposal by describing the event or phenomenon they experienced. The data obtained were collected online in the 2020-2021 academic year. No qualitative analysis program was used, and the analyzes were carried out by the researchers. Frequency analysis was done for the lifelong learning programs proposed by the participants and the lifelong learning programs recommended by the participants and the experienced events or phenomena were coded by content analysis. It was seen that computer course (N=7) and farming education (N=7) come to the fore among the lifelong learning programs proposed by the participants. It was determined that the lifelong learning programs proposed by the participants were related to profession, technology, personal development, health and environment, handicrafts, education, law, art and sports. Based on the findings, it can be said that the need for lifelong learning is closely related to the conditions of the society and the environment in which they live.

Solid waste accumulation in coastal environments has been a growing concern. In the coastal megacity of Recife, Pernambuco state, Brazil, plastic waste issues currently exist both at the ocean scale and river basin scale. The city is known as the 'Brazilian Venice' thanks to the Capibaribe River, which crosses many neighborhoods, running in a west-east direction into the Atlantic Ocean. This paper provides the initial basis to develop a Plastic Waste Management Program proposal for implementation in the city of Recife, given the lack of resolutions that have looked at plastic waste management through integrated water environment scales (from river basin to ocean). The methodology used included articulation and documental collection from four main public agencies from the state/city and stakeholders. The results showed its relevance for better plastic waste management in Recife, considering an integrated water environment on a river basin-to-ocean scale by using the recognized major connected water environments (Capibaribe river and Boa Viagem beach). Similar integrated program proposals could be made for other coastal areas, enabling not only the identification of fragilities but also the exchange of information regarding the theme.

Advances in health care science and delivery, coupled with patient need for access to care, have driven expanded practice in midwifery for decades. The process for development and implementation of expanded practices for midwives and midwifery practices is described. Important components include assessment of need, identifying stakeholders and supporters, development of a program proposal, obtaining privileges, developing training programs, and conducting ongoing quality management and program evaluation. Examples of expanded practice in midwifery are presented.

The dynamics of innovation in complex products and systems (CoPS) is based on projects and differs from the mass production industries. Many of the investments related to CoPS require the development of cutting-edge technologies and their integration into large and complex systems, requiring appropriate methodologies for risk assessment and management for these investments. Projects are not only part of the operational side but are critical to business innovation, capacity development, and corporate strategy. Determining adequate success criteria and establishing a project categorization system are critical for assessing innovation projects. This article firstly shows the proposal and evaluation of the success criteria model for Oil and Gas projects. From this evaluation, a program was proposed to introduce technologies in systems, aiming at evolving systems and their convergence with the corporate strategy. A categorization system was then proposed to assess innovation projects in this program, based on the diamond approach. It was applied to case studies. The evaluation showed positive results and provided insights about the relative importance of success criteria dimensions. This study contributes to the theory with adaptations to existing models, a program proposal, and empirical data. Organizations dealing with CoPS, especially in the Oil and Gas sector, may benefit from the models and insights presented here.

The present research study allowed fulfilling the objective of proposing a psychoeducational intervention program, according to the conception of violence, to eradicate sexual harassment in students of the Faculty of Engineering of the Universidad Nacional de Frontera in Sullana, Peru. The research is non-experimental and has a descriptive-correlational-propositional design. The sample consisted of 182 students, obtained by non-probabilistic convenience sampling. The survey technique was applied through two instruments: Inventory of conception of violence and the scale of perception against sexual harassment. The results indicate that there is a positive correlation, with strong strength and significance level (p < .05), between the variable conception of violence of the program proposal and the perception of sexual harassment. In addition, approval was found with significant percentages in the following beliefs: “Sexual harassment occurs because one allows it”, “Most reports of sexual harassment are false”, and others.

As there is a need to enable English as a foreign language (EFL) teachers to use technology in their classes, this study aims to propose an online in-service teacher training program aiming to prepare EFL teachers in Turkey to use Google Classroom and Piktochart. The planned training module is provided on a virtual online platform known as Second Life (SL). Included in the technology training, there would be an introductory session in which the instructor could ‘walk' the participants through the particulars of operating their virtual selves, as in their ‘avatars'. The course itself could commence with a short tour of the virtual sim being used for the training sessions. Immediately following the introduction, attending avatars and the instructor would congregate in the theatre area sim of the VSTE Island conference venue in-world at SL. The instructor, addressing the participants from the virtual stage, would present according to the agenda of showcasing the possible uses of the online software packages followed by step-by-step procedural instructions for the attendees to follow.

Esta investigación recoge las experiencias y saberes ancestrales relacionadas a la comunicación que existe y se produce en el contexto de la comunidad, las experiencias acumuladas para captar la frecuencia de la radio reutilizando electrodomésticos en desuso. Es el entretejido de una comunicación comunitaria que nace en y desde la comunidad de Gera de la parroquia Saraguro Cantón Saraguro Provincia de Loja, para transmitir música y algunos comunicados del cabildo dirigidos a la población. Durante el estudio se aplicó el método Vivencial Simbólico relacional propuesto por la Pluriversidad Amawtay Wasi, cuyos momentos principales fueron: vivienciando y experienciando (trabajo de campo); recuperando y Reencantando, (sistematización y reflexión); significando y resignificando (sistematización detallada), e involucrándonos y comprometiéndonos (propuesta de programa). La investigación incorpora un plan de trabajo comunitario, integral de la gestión comunicacional que permite a los moradores utilizar la radio comunitaria para comunicar, difundir los saberes y conocimientos ancestrales existentes dentro de la comunidad, en un contexto orga- nizativo del cual participan el Cabildo y sus moradores.

Although many colleges and universities are developing institutional strategies to circumvent the high cost of textbooks, those colleges and university who are members of a university system must be mindful of the perspectives of their Chief Academic Officers before seeking approval for their new program proposal. This chapter reviews these perspectives as revealed in their responses to a survey sent to NASH (National Association of System Heads) members. NASH members were asked to respond to six questions which covered policy topics related to inclusive access and open educational resources. Their thoughts, ideas, and concerns are discussed.

This reflection makes the case for gender action plans (GAP), which are required as part of any project or program proposal submitted for financing to the Green Climate Fund; to be effective it needs the combination of not only interventions which address climate issues but also strong and concrete gender-responsive development outcomes.

تزداد الحاجة إلى البرامج التي تعنى بمجال الإبداع في الملابس والنسيج والمواد المرتبطة به. ونظرا لأهمية عملية الطباعة وتنوع أساليبها وحيث أن خريجى قسم الاقتصاد المنزلي التربوي بکليه الإقتصاد المنزلى لم يتم تدريبهم على تقنيات الطباعة المختلفه وخاصة الطباعة بالاستنسل بالرغم من أهميتها في تنمية القدرات الإبداعية للطالبة فقد رأت الباحثتان ضرورة وضع برنامج في الإبداع في الطباعة بالاستنسل لإعداد طالبة مؤهلة فنيا وأکاديميا في الطباعة بالاستنسل. وتهدف الدراسة الى تصميم وبناء برنامج لتنمية للإبداع والمعارف والمهارات والاتجاهات للطالبات نحو الطباعة بالاستنسل وذلک نظرا لاهمية الطباعة لخريجة القسم، وقياس فاعليتها في إعداد طالبة مؤهلة فنيا وأکاديميا في طرق الطباعة بالاستنسل. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة أعدت الباحثتان البرنامج المقترح في تنمية الإبداع في الطباعة بالاستنسل واستخدمت فيها أدوات تقويم البرنامج . وتکونت عينة الدراسة من (20) طالبة من الفرقة الثانية قسم الاقتصاد المنزلي التربوي بکلية الاقتصاد المنزلي - جامعة حلوان. ومن اهم النتائج : - وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائيا عند مستوي 0.01 لصالح المجموعة التجريبية في مقياس الابداع في الطباعة بالاستنسل التطبيق البعدى. - وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائيا عند مستوي 0.01 لصالح المجموعة التجريبية في مقياس الاتجاه نحو الفنون التشکيلية التطبيق البعدى. في ضوء تلک النتائج توصي الباحثتان : - باستخدام البرنامج المقترح لتنمية الإبداع في الطباعة بالاستنسل لطالبات قسم الاقتصاد المنزلي التربوي بکلية الاقتصاد المنزلي - جامعة حلوان. - اهمية اضافة مادة طباعة المنسوجات الي لائحة مقررات قسم الاقتصاد المنزلي التربوي لما لها من اهمية کبيرة في اثراء معارف الطالبة الفنية في مجال الملابس والنسيج . The study aims to design and build a program for the development of creativity , knowledge, skills and attitudes of students toward printing Stancel and given the importance of the printing section to graduate , and measure their effectiveness in preparing students academically and technically qualified in Stancel printing methods . To achieve the aim of the study program proposal prepared by the researchers in the development of creativity in print Stancel and calendar tools used by the program. The sample consisted of (20) students from the second year the Department of Home Economics Education , Faculty of Home Economics - Helwan University . The results were as follows : - The presence of significant differences were statistically significant at the 0.01 level for the experimental group in the scale of creativity in print Stancel dimensional application . - The presence of significant differences were statistically significant at the 0.01 level for the experimental group in the measure of the trend towards Fine Arts dimensional application. Las lesiones causadas por contacto no reglamentario en futbol son el resultado visible del volumen de infracciones a la normativa, y por ende a los principios de juego limpio y del valor educativo del buen ejemplo manifestados por la Carta Olimpica. En el presente trabajo se llevo a cabo una revision bibliografica de los estudios epidemiologicos planteados en competiciones internacionales de futbol. Los resultados concluyeron que en los Juegos Olimpicos el numero de lesiones causadas por contacto no reglamentario no son menores que en otras competiciones. Debido al reconocimiento de esta problematica, se presenta una propuesta de promocion del fair play para arbitros y para jugadores, basada en la formacion especifica sobre los Principios Fundamentales del Olimpismo y la repercusion de las acciones llevadas a cabo en competicion, incluyendo a su vez supuestos practicos y debates sobre conductas deseables y normativa.Palabras clave: Futbol, lesiones por contacto, valores olimpicos, olimpismo.Title: FOOTBALL INJURIES CAUSED BY NON-ALLOWED CONTACT IN THE OLYMPIC GAMES. In this project, we conducted a bibliographic review of epidemiological studies concerning international football competitions, finding that non-allowed contact injuries are not less in the Olympic Games, in comparison to other international competitions. Because of this, we present a fair play promotion program proposal for referees and players, whose foundation is the specific education in the Fundamental Principles of Olympism and the repercussion of their actions in competition, also including brief discussions and practical debates about desirable behaviors and the rules.Key words: Football, The injuries by non-allowed contact, Olympic Values, Olympism.

New perioperative technology is developing constantly. To ensure the integration of quality, effectiveness, efficacy, and efficiency in patient care, an overall structure to new technology assessment should be implemented. This program for technology assessment, evaluation, and implementation was created to be a cohesive process using both human and monetary resources and to incorporate a cooperative plan used by all services within the mission of the hospital and under the guidance of administrative services. This article draws upon the draft report (prepared with the contractor assistance of DPRA Inc., Arlington, VA) dated December 1993 summarizing public comment on the Environmental Leadership Program proposal; the final report is available from EPA's Pollution Prevention Information Clearinghouse, 202–260–1023. All written public comments and the transcript of the May 6, 1993 public meeting are on file with the Environmental Leadership Program.

In China coal is the most important energy resource. Transformed by modern logistics, coal transportation and marketing will have a good profit. Many researches have been done in this field, but few companies have got a good solution. This article summarizes a program proposal for a traditional coal marketing and transportation company to transform into a coal logistics provider. The plan includes general solution, logistics planning and information system planning. At the end of this article, economic return and social benefic of the transformation are predicted.

The purpose of this qualitative study was to develop a pro-active psycho-educational intervention program for Alzheimer's family caregivers following diagnostic disclosure. Based on a theoretical model of role transitions and a participatory approach, the study comprised four steps: (a) exploring caregiver needs; (b) developing and validating a program proposal based on caregiver-expressed needs; (c) formalizing program through intervention mapping; and (d) testing and qualitatively evaluating the program. The psycho-educational program consisted of seven individual sessions aimed at fostering knowledge and skills required to ensure successful transition to the caregiver role. The approach used in this study can serve as a guide for the development of nursing intervention programs. Intervention mapping allowed, in particular, integrating theoretical and empirical elements in a formal intervention model.

Quantas potencialidades tem o currículo de história em relação à educação para o patrimônio? Como o professor de história pode realizar este compromisso? Com qual progressão dos conhecimentos significativos e das operações cognitivas? Com quais estratégias didáticas? Com quais processos de aprendizagem? Para responder a tais perguntas, raciocinarei, primeiramente, sobre a relação entre as marcas do passado, o território, os bens culturais e o patrimônio, valendo-me, principalmente, das contribuições de Cicerchia (2004), Branchesi (2006), Gardner (1991; 1993), Nardi (1996) e Pansini (2004). Os quatro termos compõem um mapa conceitual que pode orientar as escolhas curriculares, nos diferentes níveis da educação básica. A seguir, apresentarei, em linhas gerais, uma proposta de currículo que vimos amadurencendo ao longo dos anos de atividade docente e de pesquisadores (I. MaTTOZZIi, e TONTO, G. Di (a c. di), 2000; MATTOZZI, I. (a cura di), 2005; MATTOZZI, I. 1990; MATTOZZI, I. 1990), ressaltando como esta pode servir para a educação para o patrimônio e contribuir para a formação histórica de crianças e adolescentes. What are the different potentials of history study programs concerning the heritage education? How can history teachers fulfill this commitment? What is the progress of meaningful knowledge and of cognitive operations? Which educational strategies are to be used and with which learning processes? To answer these questions, I will first analyze the relation between marks of the past, territory, cultural goods, and heritage based on the contributions of CICERCHIA 2004, BRANCHESI 2006, GARDNER 1991 and 1993, NARDI 1996, and PANSINI 2004. These four aspects make up a conceptual map that may guide study program choices at the different levels of basic education. Next, I will briefly present a study program proposal that I have developed along the years as a history teacher and researcher (I. Mattozzi, and TONTO, G. Di (a c. di), 2000; MATTOZZI, I. (a cura di), 2005; MATTOZZI, I. 1990; MATTOZZI, I. 1990). I will point out how it can serve heritage education and contribute to the education of children and teenagers on history.

The allocation of hospital funding for new and expanded clinical programs can be a difficult but most important task to deal with during the development of the operating plan (budget). Like many other hospitals, York Central Hospital has struggled with this task each year. In order to address this challenge, the hospital has successfully designed and implemented a prioritization process that includes a standardized program proposal and peer evaluation. The process is grounded in the hospital's vision and strategic directions and built on a culture of evidence-based practice.

This paper focuses on the program development process, and how the Computer & Information Science department utilized the vinous program and professional requirements sources to develop a BSSE program proposal that is completely accreditable. The requirements sources referenced include the EC2000, CC2001, SEEK, SWEBOK, existing computer science courses, available faculty resources and the not-insignificant required university courses. Specifically, this paper describes the use of traceability matrices to map program requirements from the SEEK, SWEBOK and other sources against the courses that form the core of the BSSE program design. The paper also includes a description of various tradeoffs and program design rational used in the process.

GRANTS & AWARDS The chair reviewed the goals of the newly established G&A Subcommittee on Canvassing & Selection. The subcommittee reported on the work that it has accomplished during the past month. Acting under delegated authority, the committee voted to accept the recommendations of the ACS Petroleum Research Fund (PRF) Advisory Board (May 2007 meeting) for funding grants totaling $11.6 million. A program proposal for new directions for the ACS PRF was presented. The proposal consists of several programs in support of the agreed-upon vision/mission and direction of the fund to support career development, advanced scientific education, and research impact. The three major programs are New Investigator Grants, New Directions Grants, and Undergraduate Research Grants. Additional programs were identified, and study teams will be formed to consider how and whether to implement them. Despite increased emphasis on pollution prevention, Army installations are not finding their pollution prevention programs at effective levels. This situation has resulted in part from the current Army environmental 'must fund' policy and its associated reporting system. By the time all must fund projects and other mission-essential requirements have been funded, the typical installation has few resources left to apply toward the heretofore lower priority prevention projects that 'go beyond compliance.' This research document outlines a proposal for establishing and operating a pollution prevention investment fund, which would provide an alternative source of funding for prevention projects (to be administered separately from existing environmental compliance accounts). Specific areas addressed by the proposal include project prioritization and funding criteria, procedures for identification and disposition of savings, alternative fund start-up and sustainment sources, as well as a suggested approach for pollution prevention cost accounting.

Even a brief glance at German course offerings in college catalogues reveals that little has changed over the years in the descriptions of the courses that constitute the undergraduate program. I took such a glance several years ago, when a committee assignment at our college required that I examine the catalogs of approximately twenty fellow institutions. What I found were program structures and course descriptions familiar to me from my own undergraduate days, now some thirty years behind

Degenerative tendinitis of the rotator cuff is investigated through a review of the literature. Its clinical appearance, related biomechanics, treatment and factors leading to its development are discussed. Based on these findings an occupational therapy program designed to prevent the condition is proposed. The program focuses both on strengthening the rotator cuff muscles in preparation for stressful use of the arm and on improving upper back posture. The identification of individuals at risk for its development is also discussed. Several hypotheses for future study are proposed and the importance of preventive programming to the future of occupational therapy is considered.

This study is aimed to find out the significance of a radio broadcasting evaluation, the method of educational radio broadcasting, and the strategy of broadcasting evaluation for radio partner of BPMRP Pustekkom (The Center of Communication Technology) of the Ministry of Education and Cultures. This study uses a descriptive analysis. The evaluation is carried out to understand the development of the broadcasting, to identify its audience categories, to monitor the audiences, to take the audience data, to meet to audiences, and to survey the audiences. The study shows that the evaluation of radio broadcasting is of important to carry out in order to re-examine a program proposal that is already arranged beforehand. The evaluation is also important to find out the success and the failure of a program.

espanolEl articulo estudia el Programa de Expansion y Mejoramiento de la Educacion Rural que se llevo a cabo durante los anos ‘80 en todas las provincias argentinas menos la de Buenos Aires, financiado por el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo. Incluia un sistema de nuclearizacion de escuelas, acompanado de politicas de diagnostico, perfeccionamiento docente, regionalizacion del curriculo, dotacion de equipamiento y refacciones, ampliaciones y construcciones de edificios escolares. El objetivo de este trabajo es abordar el Programa como un objeto de estudio en si mismo que permita desarrollar una agenda de investigacion que vincule diferentes problemas. En primer lugar, el proceso de regionalizacion y transferencia de las escuelas primarias. En segundo termino, las modificaciones en el diseno institucional y el personal a cargo del programa. En tercer lugar, las diferentes apropiaciones del EMER por parte de los diversos actores. Finalmente, las distancias entre la propuesta del Programa y las realidades locales. La investigacion se centra en la provincia de Entre Rios y se construye en base a una abundante documentacion escrita que se encuentra en archivos de la provincia y a partir de entrevistas realizadas a diferentes actores que participaron del Programa. En las conclusiones, el trabajo pretende articular las cuatro problematicas presentadas. EnglishThe article studies the Program for the Expansion and Improvement of Rural Education that took place during the ‘80s in all the Argentine provinces except Buenos Aires, funded by the Inter-American Development Bank. It included a system of nuclearization of schools, accompanied by diagnostic policies. The main objectives of the project are to improve the quality of teaching, regionalization of the curriculum, provision of equipment and spare parts, as well as expansion and construction of school buildings. The objective of this work is to address the Program as an object of study in itself in order to develop a research agenda linking different problems. Firstly, the process of regionalization and transfer of primary schools. Secondly, the changes in the institutional design and the staff in charge of the program. Thirdly, the different appropriations of EMER by the different actors of Member State. Finally, the gaps between the Program proposal and the local realities. The research focuses on the province of Entre Rios and will be built drawing from abundant documentation found in archives of the province and based on interviews with different actors who participated in the Program Project. For the sake of conclusion, the study aims to articulate the four problems presented.
