La búsqueda se realizó en las bases de datos Scopus, National Library of Medicine and National Institutes of Health, Web of Science, Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature, Scientific Electronic Library Online, Cochrane y Excerpta Medica Database.

Social networks provide exposure of information, with the potential to modify behaviors. The objective of this study was to describe perceptions about food/nutrition using Instagram®. This is a cross-sectional study, with a convenience sample, consisting of women aged 20 to < 60 years. Sociodemographic variables, eating habits related to the social network and anthropometry were investigated. The main results were: 23% of participants claimed to follow nutrition/food profiles every day, 25.7% every week and 32.7% 2-3 times/month; 89.4% declared that reading these contents has already motivated them to make changes in their diet (always and/or from time to time), with the objective with the highest percentage of responses being health/quality of life (44.2%); however, the percentage that always seeks to check the veracity of information was restricted to 18,6%; 61,9% reported that recipes sporadically influenced meal preparation and 49,5% always ate meals with distractions. It is concluded that Instagram® represents an important tool for disseminating content about nutrition, with due attention to the veracity of the information. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

COVID-19 pandemic , *LITERATURE reviews , *LABOR turnover , *WORKING hours , *NURSES - Abstract
Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic posed unprecedented challenges to the nursing staff, who were at the forefront of patient care and their families. Exposed to the virus due to strenuous work schedules and other factors, their health was at risk. However, they took proactive self-care actions to counteract these factors, promote selfhealth, and prevent the onset of diseases caused by stressors from the pandemic. These actions, identified in the literature published between 2020-2023, have significantly impacted their individual and collective health. Objective: To identify the self-care strategies implemented by nursing professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic and to analyze them in the light of Giddens’ theoretical proposal. Materials and methods: An integrative literature review under a descriptive scope was conducted between June and September 2023 in the following databases: Pubmed, Scielo, Science Direct, Lilacs, and Google Scholar; also, PRISMA recommendations were taken into account for the organization of the search. Results: 40 articles, published between 2020 and 2023 and representing for different methodological designs, were included in the review. The self-care implemented by nurses during the pandemic was assessed in the light of Giddens’ theoretical proposal under two types of actions: intentional, which account for physical, mental, and emotional health care activities, and deliberate, which focus on care at a social level. Conclusions: The identified self-care actions were oriented toward the promotion of individual and collective health of workers, the reduction of employee turnover, the recognition of stress, and the strengthening of resilience, which can also be implemented nowadays.

MATING grounds , *LOGISTIC regression analysis , *DENGUE , *SOLID waste , *CHI-squared test - Abstract
Within households, bulky solid waste serves as the predominant breeding ground for mosquitoes that transmit dengue fever. The aim of this study is to identify and describe the relationship between material and subjective factors, using socioecological theoretical frameworks for health prevention. A descriptive cross-sectional study is conducted, using a simple random sample of 350 households in Asunción, Paraguay. To compare households based on the presence or absence of large breeding sites, the chi-square test, non-parametric Mann-Whitney-Wilcoxon statistical test, and Yuen's robust T statistical test is employed. Additionally, a multivariate logistic regression analysis was carried out to determinate the Odd Ratio (OR). The study concludes that individualistic approaches in dengue prevention must be transcended and management capacities in homes must be increased by addressing environmental barriers and social beliefs, given the factor that most significantly explaines the presence of obsolete objects in homes is the belief that these items could prove useful in the future. In the multivariate analysis, the perception of usefulness of the potential breeding sites was one of the two significant variables that explain this behavior. The other significant variable was the low coverage of waste collection. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

HEALTH promotion , *CLINICAL governance , *CHARTERS , *WELL-being - Abstract
According to the Geneva Charter for well‐being, health is a political choice and governments have crucial roles in providing the prerequisites of health and well‐being for people in societies. To initiate the creation of sustainable well‐being in societies, the health systems of all countries must be governed by a health promotion approach. To propose a "health promotion governance framework," we apply the concepts of good governance and the Ottawa Charter strategies/action areas to health system governance. To implement the good governance components within health systems, policymakers need to apply the three Ottawa Charter's strategies. Applying these strategies, the policymakers will be led to perform the five mechanisms through community‐based interventions for health promotion. As a result, they will achieve a health system with "health‐promoting governance." Such a system can act so effective, efficient, equitable, and inclusive that it brings about better health outcomes. In this way, the proposed "health promotion governance framework" might be helpful in giving reality to the governance of health promotion in health systems, which is the first step in creating sustainable well‐being in societies. Key points: According to the Geneva Charter for well‐being, health is a political choice and governments have a crucial role to play in promoting it.To initiate the creation of sustainable well‐being within societies, health systems must be governed by a health promotion approach. We propose that good governance and the Ottawa Charter's principles can serve as a framework to promote health within health systems. Physiotherapy is included in primary health care (PHC) as a way to expand coverage and provide people with comprehensive health care. Thus, the present study aimed to analyze the contributions of physiotherapists in the context of Primary Health Care in the scientific literature. Thus, it is an integrative literature review research with a descriptive and exploratory approach, developed with the findings on a portal and in databases such as: Physiotherapy Evidence Database (PEDro), Virtual Health Library (VHL), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences (LILACS) and Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO), from 2013 to 2023, using the scientific works that met the eligibility criteria. 9 articles were selected to compose this study, which highlight that the physiotherapist's contributions are directed towards health promotion and disease prevention through activities and actions. With this, it is clear that the physiotherapy professional has a relevant role in PHC, since through his work, like other professionals, he contributes to health promotion and prevention. The present study is an experience report on the role of a psychologist in carrying out individual and collective actions in women's health in Primary Health Care (PHC). The participants in this experience were women, users of three family health reference teams in a municipality in Ceará, to which the psychologist was linked, in the period from 2014 to 2016. The techniques for data collection consisted of simple observation, field diary, and recording of actions using instruments and reports. The Holliday model was adopted to promote the systematization of the experience and the analysis of the results. The interventions were divided into four axes: prevention and health promotion, health care, matrix support, and intersectoral articulation. It was observed that the psychologist presents himself as a strategic professional in PHC, as he has the technical preparation to address gender and mental health issues. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
Objective: This study aimed to design a survey that seeks to know the perception of the university community on the concepts of health, healthy university and constituent elements as a contribution to the formulation process of the construction of a healthy university policy. Methodology: Through a documentary analysis and guided by the review of experts and the referential framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), a survey was developed aimed at the university community. Results: A survey was built that can be applied online, which has four sections, the first on sociodemographic and institutional characterization, and the other three, each with a question focused on the key concepts of the study and 32 associated statements. The questions were of the "ranking" type, where potential respondents must compare affirmations with each other and sort them by preference. Conclusions: The construction process of this survey allows us to reflect the knowledge and interests of the community, identify priorities and meeting points between the diversity of positions that naturally inhabit a university. The concept of a healthy university and its transformation into a policy for the university requires a participatory process that accounts for collective action that shows the coordination and cooperation of key actors and the development of institutional capacities. PSYCHOLOGICAL well-being , *QUALITY of life , *SOCIAL support , *CROPS , *COMMUNITY-based participatory research - Abstract
Previous research on health promotion through planting considers the strengthening of social ties, the practice of healthy lifestyle habits, and attention to psychological difficulties as results. Thus, it is important for this project to start from a systemic and multidisciplinary perspective of health that seeks to strengthen aspects of mental health (social support, psychological well-being and quality of life) and knowledge in urban agroecology (food security, planting and crop maintenance), with people from Cali, linked to the strategy of planting home gardens. It is based on a qualitative-transformative approach, with a participatory action research design. The results are expected to promote aspects of health and well-being in relationships with oneself, with others and with the immediate environment, as well as basic knowledge for caring for the garden.
