A hydrothermal technique was employed to synthesize Ni/Mg/Al ternary L.D.H.s modified with montmorillonite (NMA-MMT-LDHs). Many characterization methods, including X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (S.E.M.), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and Brunauer, Emmett, and Teller (B.E.T.), were used to assess the physiochemical properties of the produced analytes. Congo red and methylene blue were utilized as model dyes to treat textile waste with the synthesized analytes. The batch adsorption model was utilized to conduct the adsorption experiments under varying contact time, adsorbent dosage, and solution pH conditions. A pseudo-second-order kinetics and the Langmuir adsorption model control the adsorption process. The maximum monolayer adsorption capacities of C.R. and M.B. were determined to be 344 and 200 mg/g, respectively. As the quantity of dosage increased from the 0.01–0.04 g, the percent removal efficiency (%) increased from 75 to 87 % for S2-LDH, 84–88 % for S2-MMT, 86–93 % for S3-MMT, and 95–97% for S4-MMT for C.R. dye and 82–85 % for S2-LDH, 83–89 % for S2-MMT, 83–91 % for S3-MMT, and 84–92 % for S4-MMT for M.B. dye. The removal percentage of C.R. dye for adsorbents S2-LDH, S2-MMT, S3-MMT, and S4-MMT were 75 %, 84 %, 86 %, and 95 %, respectively and 82 %, 83 %, 83 %, and 85 %, respectively for the M.B. dye removal. The presence of MMT significantly increases the affinity of Ni/Mg/Al-LDHs (NMA-LDHs), and the designed production technique can be used to produce a variety of compositionally distinct adsorbent materials.

Background Health education and health promotion are at the top of the list of population health promotion strategies. It is essential to provide community-dwelling residents with health education to improve their health literacy. However, few studies focus on the needs of health education (including the contents, acquisition methods and forms) in community-dwelling residents. Objective To investigate the perceived needs of health education and associated factors in community-dwelling residents, providing a scientific basis for meeting their health education needs and improving their health literacy level. Methods From January 19 to March 12, 2020, 2 846 residents aged >12 years were selected from 10 cities of China using multistage sampling to attend a questionnaire survey. The questionnaire used contains two parts: the first part is socio-demographic characteristics. And the second part is the perceived health education needs of community-dwelling residents, with 5-point Likert scale items belonging to three dimensions (contents, forms, and acquisition methods) . The total score for each dimension was obtained by summing the score of items in the dimension. Residents' needs of the contents, forms or acquisition methods were graded as "low", "moderate", or "high" by the average total score of each dimension. Univariate and multivariate ordinal Logistic regression were used to explore the associated factors of level of health education needs in community-dwelling residents. Results Altogether, 2 679 cases (94.13%) who handed in responsive questionnaires were finally included. The average total score for dimensions of contents, acquisition methods and forms were (21.49±5.91) , (15.11±5.48) and (13.61±4.41) , respectively. Among the content items of health education, the top three relatively strongly needed/strongly needed were food safety〔2 081 (77.68%) 〕, disease prevention and control〔2 020 (75.44%) 〕, and rational medication〔1 963 (73.28%) 〕. Among the acquisition methods of health education, the top two relatively strongly needed/strongly needed were health education columns in the community built using digital media technologies〔1 519 (56.70%) 〕 and interactive health education〔1 518 (56.66%) 〕. In terms of the health education form, the proportions of residents who needed various forms of health education were similar. Specifically, the proportion of residents who relatively strongly needed/strongly needed video-based health education was the highest〔64.91% (1 739/2 679) 〕, while that of residents who relatively strongly needed/strongly needed written health educational materials was the lowest〔50.84% (1 362/2 679) 〕. Ice on the surface of wind turbine blades may result in power production losses and unsafe operations. An effective technological solution to the ice issue is coating de-icing. This study first constructed SiO2 aerogel/CNTs (carbon nanotube) coating with photothermal de-icing by incorporating photothermal nanoparticles into the created nanoporous structure. The coating structure examined by SEM and EDS analysis demonstrates that CNT particles can be well captured by the three-dimensional nanostructure of SiO2 aerogel and form a stable symbiotic skeleton. After that, we examined how the quantity of CNT doping affected the coating's surface morphology and photothermal properties. The findings demonstrated that the C-6 coating made from 0.6% CNTs performed best. Utilizing the photothermal effect of CNTs, it exhibited a steady rate of temperature increase and reached the target temperature of 153.4°C in 561 s upon near-infrared light (808 nm) irradiation. According to the results of experiments testing the photothermal performance, mechanical/chemical stability, and applicability of the coating, the coating has the advantages of being lightweight, provides quick de-icing, high stability, and simple production. Layered double hydroxides (LDHs) have received substantial research as manufacturing innovation and prospective photocatalysts for the degradation of organic contaminants due to large surface area, strong anionic exchange capacity, and tunable composition. In this study, we modified Mg/Al-LDHs with Ni and Cr to further enhance their performance in removing Methyl Orange (MO) an anionic dye widely used in textiles, cosmetics, and healthcare products. The modified Mg/Al-LDHs were synthesized using hydrothermal co-precipitation method and characterized by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The breakdown rate of MO under solar light was used for evaluating the material's photocatalytic activity. The outcomes demonstrated that the Ni/Mg/Al/Cr (LDH-4) photocatalysts degraded MO more quickly than the undoped substance. The addition of Cr to the Ni/Mg/Al matrix caused the band gap to develop new energy levels, which increased the material's photocatalytic activity. To prepare a base layer of thermal insulation for the surface of wind turbine blades, we utilized SiO2 aerogel material with a nanoporous structure as the thermal insulation layer of an inorganic composite photothermal de-icing coating. We further investigated the influence of raw material ratio and process on the thermal insulation layer's performance. By adjusting the process parameters, the microstructure and characteristics of the SiO2 aerogel thermal insulation coating were controlled. Microstructure scanning and EDS analysis were employed to assess the results. The results of the experiment suggest that, as opposed to brush coating, atomized spraying is a better technique for creating SiO2 aerogel thermal insulation coating. The coating possesses excellent mechanical stability and applicability, maintaining a coating wear rate within 5% after 20 wear cycles under a load of 1734 N/m2, and the coating achieves the highest class 0 surface adhesion to the substrate surface. The coating exhibits exceptional heat insulation performance, reaching a temperature of 32.7 °C after five spraying cycles, which is 20.0 ∼ 29.4 °C higher than the surface without producing a complete heat insulation layer. The SiO2 aerogel aqueous slurry has a viscosity of 31.3 ∼ 36.9 mPa∙s, which is capable of forming a uniform membrane surface when sprayed at a 60° angle at 0.95 MPa pressure. Consequently, this paper's design of photothermal thermal insulation offers strong anti-abrasion and excellent thermal insulation, presenting a new avenue for scientific investigation into coating photothermal de-icing. A basic urea technique was successfully used to synthesize Mg/Al-Layered double hydroxides (Mg/Al LDHs), which were then calcined at 400 °C to form Mg/Al-Layered double oxides (Mg/Al LDOs). To reconstruct LDHs, Mg/Al LDOs were fabricated with different feeding ratios of Ni by the co-precipitation method. After synthesis, the Ni/Mg/Al-layered double hydroxides (NMA-LDHs) with 20% and 30% Ni (S1 and S2) were roasted at 400 °C and transformed into corresponding Ni/Mg/Al-layered double oxides (NMA-LDOs) (S1a and S2b, respectively). The physiochemical properties of synthesized samples were also evaluated by various characterization techniques, such as X-ray diffraction (XRD), Scanning electron microscopy (SEM), Energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR), and Brunauer, Emmett, and Teller (BET). The adsorption behavior of methyl orange (MO) onto the synthesized samples was evaluated in batch adsorption mode under varying conditions of contact time, adsorbent quantity, and solution pH. As the dosage amount increased from 0.01–0.04 g, the removal percentage of MO dye also increased from 83% to 90% for S1, 84% to 92% for S1a, 77% to 87% for S2, and 93% to 98% for S2b, respectively. For all of the samples, the adsorption kinetics were well described by the pseudo-second-order kinetic model. The equilibrium adsorption data were well fitted to both Langmuir and Freundlich models for methyl orange (MO). Finally, three adsorption-desorption cycles show that NMA-LDHs and NMA-LDOs have greater adsorption and reusability performance for MO dye, signifying that the design and fabrication strategy can facilitate the application of the natural hydrotalcite material in water remediation.
