One of the impacts of the industrialization era is the use of plastic products. The advantages of plastic products are that they are light and strong and resistant to corrosion, can be transparent, can be colored, do not experience decay and most importantly they can function as an insulator so that they can replace wood and metal products that have been used for years. In the manufacturing industry the tools used to make products from plastic in the production process use injection molding. As a result of use during the production process and the lack of handling during use, this mold can be damaged which results in defects in the product. This research was conducted to obtain information about product defects that often occur due to damage to the mold as well as in terms of material and manpower skills in the plastic injection molding process. From the results 50 of data collection in 2019, it was found that the product defects that occurred related to the damage to the mold were shrink marks with a percentage of about 40.3% 11% Short Mold. In the past, many areas that were once water suction areas have become residential areas, shopping malls, offices and other commercial centers. When it rains, all the water flows directly into the river, and a little bit is absorbed by the soil because it has been covered by the cement casting. This increases the water flow in the rivers of Jakarta. The focus of this research is to improve the performance of flood pumps. Observing the drainage of (A) River and (S) River, we compare it with the pump performance of the (A) River gate. By using the statistical software tools included in the Minitab program, it helps to obtain faster and more accurate results. Normality test, Gage R&R, capability analysis, Anova and other variance test, and two-sample T test are a series of tests performed in this study. In the improvement part, design of experiments (DOE) will be carried out. The pump in this study is the second sample of the three pumps provided by (A) Pump House. The Sigma level before repair was 2.27σ, and after repair it was 5.91σ. The Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method is an appropriate tool for analyzing each product attribute which is its strengths and weaknesses, as well as determining the scale of preference of customer needs for the product. The objective of this research is aluminum window products by conducting a survey of 79 customers of aluminum window products using Slovin formula with 90% confidence level.the IPA matrix was applied to see the importance of focus on customer satisfaction needs. As the results, the validity and reliability tests on the performance indicators show the value of which is more than 0.1864 and cronbach alpha value 0.949, where the number is said to be eligible because it has met the specified conditions, while the importance indicator shows the value as more than of 0.1864 and Cronbach alpha 0.873. The result has shown that to be feasible because it has exceeded the minimum limit. In the Cartesian diagram the processing results of the IPA method show that there are 7 attributes that are the main priority to be improved, namely non leaking windows, airtight windows, can be waterproof on high surfaces (installed in tall buildings), can be wind resistant when installed in tall buildings, does not fall when withstanding wind pressure, aluminum profile material mixture is better, the price is more competitive. Increased demand for lightweight and efficient materials from the automotive industry is fueling the demand for automotive aluminum. High competition in the global wheel market demands is triggering the companies who are produced to improve their process to be able to offer the best wheels quality. Many improvement tools or methods are used to assure that the product quality is produced is meet the market requirement. One of them is Define Measure Analyze Improve Control (DMAIC). As a case study at one of the wheel industry to reduce the defects number in the casting process using the DMAIC method. The systematic way to find out the major problem root cause at the aluminum castings by using the defect diagnostic approaches and also cause and effect diagram. Other quality tools are used such as the Pareto diagram and fishbone diagram. These tools identified the major defects for the rejections during production were identified are leaking, big holes porosity motive, and oval. In determining the proposed quality improvements using the FMEA tool. The results of data processing on the calculation of process capabilities and product performance show improvements after quality improvements in the casting process. Product performance was increased from Cp = 0.79 to Cp = 1.4, sigma level = 2.8 to sigma level = 4.0. In 2019 the agricultural sector contributed 1.81% to Indonesia's economic growth, this provided an opportunity for the automotive rubber parts industry to develop agricultural products, namely rubber crawlers for combine harvester machines. The industrial situation has been faced with new challenges to be able to get out of a challenging situation to continue to serve customers by maintaining good performance during years of Covid-19 pandemic, even though this is a challenge to be able to learn to anticipate similar events in the future which will come. Objective achievement to analyze indicators performance of the technical division of the medical equipment distributor during the pandemic as an object to be able to find out what performance has decreased and needs to be improved to anticipate crisis conditions such as pandemic crisis conditions as happened before. This study concludes that the analysis that occurred due to the decrease in order completion targets during 2021 performance indicator that was fixed at the root of the problem made positive implications for other indicators, with a 99% increase in spare parts availability, 86% parts responsiveness, and 81% troubleshooting time, and 77% order completion time. The industrial implication of this research is that the conceptual method with a dynamic balanced scorecard strategy map can be well applied to anticipate a decline in performance in times of crisis. Indonesia's oil production from year to year has decreased. The decline was because around 90% of the total oil production was produced from fields that were more than 30 years old, so a large investment was needed to contain the decline. The Java Sea Block is one of the oldest major blocks supporting Indonesia's oil and gas production with the production of 32,000 Barel Oil Per Day (BOPD) of oil and 167 Million Metric Standard Cubic Feet Per Day (MMSCFD) of natural gas, which has been operating since 1971. ZU Flowstation is one of the production fields that has been operating since 1984 with a production of 2000 – 2300 BOPD, has 24 artificial lift / Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) wells with different characteristics. Production results fluctuate every year. This is due to the age of the old wells so they are not able to produce more oil. This study aims to maximize production results on the operating system by adjusting the frequency of the Variable Speed Drive (VSD) automatically. The garment industry, especially the knitted socks industry and the like, experienced a decline in production due to defects that did not meet the target. This study aims to determine the leading causes of dominant defects, increase the sigma level, and propose improvements to be included in the KPI method so that the relevant department can control it using the Define Measure Analyze Improve Control (DMAIC) approach. This study found that the dominant factor causing the socks defect was the inappropriate linking needle at 504 RPN, the yarn hardness was varied at 441 RPN, and the thread clumps cutter was 384 RPN, the sock that went straight into the plate was 294 RPN. All causes of the problem are taken corrective action, and as a result, the level of sigma has increased from sigma 3.7017 before improvement to sigma 3.9614 after improvement. To control the sigma level, it is proposed to be included in the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) so that the knitting department can control and be enthusiastic in continuous improvement.
