Convolutional neural network (CNN) models are widely used in landslide susceptibility assessment due to their powerful feature extraction capabilities, and traditional CNN is no longer able to meet the requirements. Therefore, this paper proposes a multi-scale convolutional neural networks (MSCNN) model that can take into account deep and shallow features. By increasing the depth of the model and expanding the receptive field of samples, the MSCNN can tap deeper and more stable features to improve the reliability of landslide susceptibility assessment in complex scenarios. In this study, Shenzhen City is selected as the research area, and 12 landslide conditioning factors of landslides in Shenzhen City were selected based on systematic and representative principles. A multi-scale convolutional neural network landslide susceptibility assessment model is constructed and compared with methods such as multilayer perceptron (MLP), support vector machine (SVM), and random forest (RF). The results show that the AUC value (0.99) of the MSCNN model constructed in this paper is higher than that of MLP (0.97), SVM (0.91), and RF (0.85), which proves that the proposed MSCNN model has excellent prediction ability. The area of extremely high susceptibility in Shenzhen City is approximately 105.3 km², accounting for 4.98% of the total area of the study area, mainly distributed in Longgang District with steep slopes, sparse vegetation cover, and frequent human engineering activities. Slope, surface roughness, and surface relief are identified as the main conditioning factors affecting landslides in Shenzhen City. The landslide susceptibility mapping implemented in this paper reflects the current distribution of landslide disasters in Shenzhen City, providing data support and key technical support for future landslide disaster prevention and control in Shenzhen City.

Abstract This study aimed to construct a novel pelvis-prostate model BPPP which consists of body mass index (BMI), prostate volume (PV), pelvic cavity index (PCI) and prostate-muscle index (PMI) to predict the immediate urinary continence after Retzius-sparing robot assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy (RS-RARP). The perioperative data of patients with prostate cancer who underwent RS-RARP in the department of urology of Nanjing Drum Tower Hospital from June 2018 to June 2022 were retrospectively analyzed. 280 patients were eligible for this study in total. Multivariate analysis showed that BMI, PV, PCI, PMI and NVB preservation were significantly associated with immediate urinary continence after RS-RARP. Subgroup analysis showed that patients with low BMI, low PV, high PCI and high PMI had a higher recovery rate of immediate urinary continence. The area under the curve of BPPP (BMI + PV + PCI + PMI) for predicting the immediate recovery of urinary continence after RS-RARP was 0.726. Abstract Macrophages may acquire a reparative phenotype that supports tissue repair and remodeling in response to tissue injury. However, the metabolic requirements underpinning this process are incompletely understood. Here, we show that posttranslational modification (PTM) of PPARγ regulates lipid synthesis in response to wound microenvironmental cues and that metabolic rewiring orchestrates function of reparative macrophages. In injured tissues, repair signaling leads to decreased macrophage PPARγ threonine 166 (T166) phosphorylation, which results in a partially active PPARγ transcriptional program comprised of increased binding activity to the regulator regions of lipid synthesis-associated genes, thereby increased lipogenesis. The accumulated lipids serve as signaling molecules, triggering STAT3-mediated growth factor expression, and supporting the synthesis of phospholipids for the expansion of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), which is required for protein secretion. Genetic or pharmacological inhibition of PPARγ T166 phosphorylation promotes the reparative function of macrophages and facilitates tissue regeneration. In summary, our work identifies PPARγ T166-regulated lipid biosynthesis as an essential pathway for meeting the anabolic demands of the activation and function of macrophages and provides a rationale for potential therapeutic targeting of tissue repair.

Abstract Background The prognostic value of the pretreatment prognostic nutritional index (PNI) for gynaecological malignancies remain unclear. This meta-analysis aimed to explore the predictive significance of the PNI for gynaecological tumours. Methods The PubMed, Embase, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases were searched up to January 30, 2024, to identify relevant studies. Hazard ratios (HRs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were calculated to assess the associations of the PNI with overall survival (OS), progression-free survival (PFS), and disease-free survival (DFS) in patients with gynaecological tumours. We examined the correlation of the PNI with clinicopathological parameters of patients with gynaecological carcinoma by utilizing pooled odds ratios (ORs) and 95% CIs. Abstract Background High levels of lactate are positively associated with prognosis and mortality in pulmonary hypertension (PH). Lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA) is a key enzyme for the production of lactate. This study is undertaken to investigate the role and molecular mechanisms of lactate and LDHA in PH. Methods Lactate levels were measured by a lactate assay kit. LDHA expression and localization were detected by western blot and Immunofluorescence. Proliferation and migration were determined by CCK8, western blot, EdU assay and scratch-wound assay. The right heart catheterization and right heart ultrasound were measured to evaluate cardiopulmonary function. Results In vitro, we found that lactate promoted proliferation and migration of pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells (PASMCs) in an LDHA-dependent manner. In vivo, we found that LDHA knockdown reduced lactate overaccumulation in the lungs of mice exposed to hypoxia. Furthermore, LDHA knockdown ameliorated hypoxia-induced vascular remodeling and right ventricular dysfunction. In addition, the activation of Akt signaling by hypoxia was suppressed by LDHA knockdown both in vivo and in vitro. The overexpression of Akt reversed the inhibitory effect of LDHA knockdown on proliferation in PASMCs under hypoxia. Finally, LDHA inhibitor attenuated vascular remodeling and right ventricular dysfunction in Sugen/hypoxia mouse PH model, Monocrotaline (MCT)-induced rat PH model and chronic hypoxia-induced mouse PH model. Conclusions Thus, LDHA-mediated lactate production promotes pulmonary vascular remodeling in PH by activating Akt signaling pathway, suggesting the potential role of LDHA in regulating the metabolic reprogramming and vascular remodeling in PH.

Aiming at the issue of low accuracy in crop mapping and growth monitoring caused by imprecise calibration of radar time-series data, this paper proposed a Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) spatio-temporal error compensation method. By constructing a compensation reference image using the buildings with stable backscattering coefficients in the study area, the error correction of time-series SAR data was realized based on the compensation model. The compensated SAR data were used to establish the Sugarcane Growth Index (SGI) according to the growth curve of sugarcane. The sugarcane area was extracted after combining the compensated SGI and optical image, and the accuracy of F1 on sugarcane distribution extraction was 92.12%. There was an improvement of 4.11% compared with no compensation method. On this basis, the newly planted and ratoon sugarcane were further classified by the expectation maximization algorithm based on the compensated SAR image at the seedling stage. The newly planted sugarcane and the ratoon sugarcane could be accurately distinguished with area extraction accuracy of 82.06% and 80.59%, respectively. Moreover, the compensated SAR data of time series during the tillering to maturity stages were used to estimate the sugarcane height, yielding an R2 value of 0.717 using a quadratic polynomial model. The Spatio-temporal error compensation method for distributed targets proposed in this study can reduce the loss of SAR data across various times and regions, and achieve accurate results of sugarcane distribution extraction and plant height estimation.

Abstract Background Understanding the release characteristics of soil colloids is a prerequisite for studying the co-transport of colloids and pollutants in subsurface environment. As a crucial agricultural management measure, fertilization not only alters the material composition of farmland soil, but also significantly regulates the properties and release patterns of soil colloids. This study systematically investigated the regulatory mechanism of short-term cattle manure fertilization on the macroscopic release and microscopic properties of soil colloids with different particle sizes, providing a theoretical foundation for subsequent research on the fate and transport of agricultural non-point source pollutants. Results The colloids in natural agricultural soil primarily consist of inorganic components. Graded extraction of the colloids has revealed that the combined proportion of colloids with particle sizes of 1–2 μm and 0.45–1 μm accounts for approximately 80.5%. Applying cattle manure inhibits the release of soil colloids, and the content of large particle size (1–2 μm) components increases. The content of organic colloids is increased due to the high total organic carbon (TOC) in cattle manure, particularly those with a particle size less than 1 μm. The characterization of organic colloid components revealed a significant increase in aromatic carbon and oxygen-containing functional groups, while the aliphatic content decreased. The response sequence regarding changes in functional groups within organic colloids induced by fertilization was as follows: –CH3, –CH2 > C–O > –OH > C=C. Fertilization promotes the release of 1:1-type inorganic mineral colloids, increasing the content of poorly crystalline minerals. The retention of aromatic carbon and oxygen-containing functional groups by poorly crystalline mineral colloids served as the primary mechanism leading to their increased content levels. Changes in environmental factors significantly impacted the release and properties of soil colloids. Conditions such as low cationic valence, high ionic strength, and high pH promoted the release of soil colloids. Conclusions The short-term fertilization resulted in a reduction in the release of soil colloids and brought about significant alterations in their particle size composition and properties. The findings of this study provide valuable insights into understanding the impact of fertilization-induced colloid release on the environmental behavior of agricultural non-point source pollutants.

Abstract Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a metabolic disorder characterized by hyperglycemia resulting from defects in insulin secretion and/or insulin action. Increasing evidence suggests that inflammation played an important role in the pathogenesis of T2DM. Prospective studies on the link between immunoglobulins concentrations and the risk of T2DM in adults are limited. We developed a cohort study including 7,093 adults without T2DM history. The incidence of T2DM was 16.45 per 1,000 person-years. Abstract The evolution and mechanism of ground collapse caused by underground water pipeline leakage have become increasingly significant as more urban areas experience collapses. Based on the principle of similarity, and considering the engineering context of road collapses in Anqing City, Anhui Province, this study designed a 3 m × 2 m × 2 m rupture-collapse model test device. Digital Image Correlation (DIC) technology was employed to investigate the erosion process and collapse mechanisms caused by underground pipeline leakage. The results indicate that groundwater seepage provides the driving force for collapses, combined with the migration space provided by defects, collectively triggering the collapses. When groundwater seepage is minimal, the cohesive forces between soil particles maintain soil stability. As groundwater seepage increases, the soil particle framework is eroded, leading to soil structure destabilization and collapse initiation. The depth of collapse significantly influences stress evolution: stress evolution intensity beneath and above the collapse pit is positively correlated with the distance from the collapse pit bottom, but negatively correlated with the distance from the defect. The research provides insights for the early warning and management of ground collapse.

Abstract The senescence of alveolar type II (AT2) cells impedes self-repair of the lung epithelium and contributes to lung injury in the setting of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF). Yes-associated protein 1 (YAP1) is essential for cell growth and organ development; however, the role of YAP1 in AT2 cells during pulmonary fibrosis is still unclear. YAP1 expression was found to be downregulated in the AT2 cells of PF patients. Deletion of YAP1 in AT2 cells resulted in lung injury, exacerbated extracellular matrix (ECM) deposition, and worsened lung function. In contrast, overexpression of YAP1 in AT2 cells promoted alveolar regeneration, mitigated pulmonary fibrosis, and improved lung function. In addition, overexpression of YAP1 alleviated bleomycin (BLM) -induced senescence of alveolar epithelial cells both in vivo and in vitro. Moreover, YAP1 promoted the expression of peroxiredoxin 3 (Prdx3) by directly interacting with TEAD1. Forced expression of Prdx3 inhibited senescence and improved mitochondrial dysfunction in BLM-treated MLE-12 cells, whereas depletion of Prdx3 partially abrogated the protective effect of YAP1. Furthermore, overexpression of Prdx3 facilitated self-repair of the injured lung and reduced ECM deposition, while silencing Prdx3 attenuated the antifibrotic effect of YAP1. In conclusion, this study demonstrated that YAP1 alleviates lung injury and pulmonary fibrosis by regulating Prdx3 expression to improve mitochondrial dysfunction and block senescence in AT2 cells, revealing a potential novel therapeutic strategy for pulmonary fibrosis.

Abstract Alkaline lakes are extreme environments inhabited by diverse microbial extremophiles. However, large-scale distribution patterns, environmental adaptations, community assembly, and evolutionary dynamics of microbial communities remain largely underexplored. This study investigated the characteristics of microbial communities on rare and abundant taxa in alkaline lake sediments in west and northwest China. We observed that abundant taxa varied significantly with geographical distance, while rare taxa remained unaffected by regional differences. The assembly process of abundant taxa was influenced by dispersal limitation, whilst rare taxa were predominantly driven by heterogeneous selection. Network analysis indicated that rare taxa as core species for community interactions and community stability. Rare taxa exhibited higher speciation and transition rate than abundant taxa, serving as a genetic reservoir and potential candidates to become abundance taxa, highlighting their crucial role in maintaining microbial diversity. These insights underscore the significant influence of rare taxa on ecosystem biodiversity and stability in alkaline lakes.

Abstract. Iron is indispensable for the viablility of nearly all living organisms, and it is imperative for cells, tissues, and organisms to acquire this essential metal sufficiently and maintain its metabolic stability for survival. Disruption of iron homeostasis can lead to the development of various diseases. There is a robust connection between iron metabolism and infection, immunity, inflammation, and aging, suggesting that disorders in iron metabolism may contribute to the pathogenesis of arthritis. Numerous studies have focused on the significant role of iron metabolism in the development of arthritis and its potential for targeted drug therapy. Targeting iron metabolism offers a promising approach for individualized treatment of arthritis. Therefore, this review aimed to investigate the mechanisms by which the body maintains iron metabolism and the impacts of iron and iron metabolism disorders on arthritis. Furthermore, this review aimed to identify potential therapeutic targets and active substances related to iron metabolism, which could provide promising research directions in this field.

Abstract Anion exchanger 3 (AE3) is pivotal in regulating intracellular pH across excitable tissues, yet its structural intricacies and functional dynamics remain underexplored compared to other anion exchangers. This study unveils the structural insights into human AE3, including the cryo-electron microscopy structures for AE3 transmembrane domains (TMD) and a chimera combining AE3 N-terminal domain (NTD) with AE2 TMD (hAE3NTD2TMD). Our analyzes reveal a substrate binding site, an NTD-TMD interlock mechanism, and a preference for an outward-facing conformation. Unlike AE2, which has more robust acid-loading capabilities, AE3’s structure, including a less stable inward-facing conformation due to missing key NTD-TMD interactions, contributes to its moderated pH-modulating activity and increased sensitivity to the inhibitor DIDS. These structural differences underline AE3’s distinct functional roles in specific tissues and underscore the complex interplay between structural dynamics and functional specificity within the anion exchanger family, enhancing our understanding of the physiological and pathological roles of the anion exchanger family.

Abstract Background Migraine is one of the most common diseases worldwide while current treatment options are not ideal. New therapeutic classes of migraine, the calcitonin gene-related peptide (CGRP) antagonists, have been developed and shown considerable effectiveness and safety. The present study aimed to systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of atogepant, a CGRP antagonist, for migraine prophylaxis from the results of randomized controlled trials (RCTs). Methods The Cochrane Library, Embase, PubMed and https://www.clinicaltrials.gov/ were searched for RCTs that compared atogepant with placebo for migraine prophylaxis from inception of the databases to Feb 1, 2024. Outcome data involving efficacy and safety were combined and analyzed using Review Manager Software version 5.3 (RevMan 5.3). For each outcome, risk ratios (RRs) or standardized mean difference (SMD) were calculated. Results 4 RCTs with a total of 2813 subjects met our inclusion criteria. The overall effect estimate showed that atogepant was significantly superior to placebo in terms of the reduction of monthly migraine (SMD − 0.40, 95% CI -0.46 to -0.34) or headache (SMD − 0.39, 95% CI -0.46 to -0.33) days, the reduction of acute medication use days (SMD − 0.45, 95% CI -0.51 to -0.39) and 50% responder rate (RR 1.66, 95% CI 1.46 to 1.89), while no dose-related improvements were found between different dosage groups. For the safety, significant number of patients experienced treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs) with atogepant than with placebo (RR 1.10, 95% CI 1.02–1.21) while there was no obvious difference between the five dosage groups. Most TEAEs involved constipation (RR 2.55, 95% CI 1.91–3.41), nausea (RR 2.19, 95% CI 1.67–2.87) and urinary tract infection (RR 1.49, 95% CI 1.05–2.11). In addition, a high dosage of atogepant may also increase the risk of treatment-related TEAEs (RR 1.64, 95% CI 1.02–2.63) and fatigue (RR 3.07, 95% CI 1.13–8.35). Conclusions This meta-analysis suggests that atogepant is effective and tolerable for migraine prophylaxis including episodic or chronic migraine compared with placebo. It is critical to weigh the benefits of different doses against the risk of adverse events in clinical application of atogepant. Longer and multi-dose trials with larger sample sizes are required to verify the current findings.

Abstract Background Multiple supernumerary teeth, combined with numerous impacted teeth, can lead to various malocclusions, posing significant treatment challenges. While certain genes associated with syndromic cases of multiple supernumerary and impacted teeth have been identified, the etiologies of non-syndromic cases still largely remain elusive. Case presentation Here, we report a treatment of a 12-year-old boy who presented with 10 supernumerary teeth and 6 impacted teeth, accompanied by a genetic analysis to explore the underlying etiology. During the treatment, fifteen teeth were extracted, and various skilled techniques, including the closed-eruption technique and the application of by-pass arches, were utilized. Post-treatment, traction was successful for all the impacted teeth, without any tooth mobility or reduction in gingival height. Space closure, well-aligned teeth, and excellent functional occlusion were achieved. Furthermore, comprehensive genetic analysis was conducted through whole-exome sequencing on the patient and his parents, which revealed a potential link between the patient’s numerous supernumerary teeth and abnormal mineralization. Notably, the p.Ser496Pro variant in the TCF7L2 gene was identified as a potential candidate variant in this patient. Conclusions Overall, our findings not only report the treatment of a rare case involving multiple supernumerary and impacted teeth but also offer valuable insights into the molecular basis of supernumerary teeth.

Bifilms have been proposed to be critical for forming casting defects. The reduced pressure test (RPT) and bifilm index (BI) have been widely studied and used in industry for melt quality assessment. However, the BI remains challenged in predicting the mechanical properties. This work investigated the usage of RPT for elongation prediction by analyzing the melt in two foundries. The results showed that the BI could be valid when the bifilms exist as fully inflated pores. In reality, bifilms present as pores with various morphology and distribution, generating local stress concentrations under tension. Consequently, the parameter areaeff, which considers the pores’ morphology and distribution, was proposed, and the resultant f eff showed a good correlation with the elongation of the castings. These results guide the foundry to predict the elongation of the final castings and give directions for further research on the bifilm defects.

Abstract Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the role and mechanisms of miR-155 in chronic spontaneous urticaria (CSU). Methods The expression level of miR-155 in the skin tissues of patients with CSU and experimental rats were detected by RT-qPCR, followed by the measurement of the histamine release rate in the serum through the histamine release test. Besides, hematoxylin & eosin staining was used to observe the pathological changes of the skin tissues; Corresponding detection kits and flow cytometry to measure the changes of immunoglobulins, inflammatory cytokines and T cell subsets in the serum of rats in each group; and western blot to check the expression level of proteins related to JAK/STAT signaling pathway in the skin tissues. Results Knockdown of miR-155 reduced the number and duration of pruritus, alleviated the skin damage, and decreased the number of eosinophils in CSU rats. Moreover, knockdown of miR-155 elevated the serum levels of IgG and IgM, decreased the levels of IgA and inflammatory cytokines, and reduced the proportion of CD4 + and CD4 + CD25 + T cells, as well as the CD4+/CD8 + ratio in CSU rats. However, Tyr705 intervention could reverse the effects of knockdown of miR-155 on CSU model rats. Furthermore, we found that knockdown of miR-155 significantly reduced the protein expression of IRF-9, as well as the P-JAK2/JAK2 and P-STAT3/STAT3 ratios in the skin tissues of CSU rats. Conclusion Knockdown of miR-155 can alleviate skin damage and inflammatory responses and relieve autoimmunity in CSU rats by inhibiting the JAK/STAT3 signaling pathway.

Abstract Background Tuberculosis (TB) remains a global public health event of great concern, however epidemic data on TB covering entire areas during the special period of the COVID-19 epidemic have rarely been reported. We compared the dissemination and multidrug-resistance patterns of Mycobacterium tuberculosis complex (MTBC) in the main urban area of Luoyang City, China (including six municipal jurisdictions) and nine county and township areas under its jurisdiction, aimed to establish the epidemiology of TB in this region and to provide reference for precision anti-TB in places with similar settings. Methods From 2020 to 2022, sputum samples were collected from 18,504 patients with confirmed, suspected and unexcluded TB in 10 designated TB medical institutions. Insertion sequence 6110 was amplified by PCR (rpoB gene detection if necessary) to confirm the presence of MTBC. PCR-positive specimens were analyzed by multicolor melting curve analysis to detect multidrug resistance. Results Among the 18,504 specimens, 2675 (14.5%) were MTBC positive. Abstract Objective Currently, there are still some shortcomings in EBM education in China.The study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of the novel evidence-based medicine (EBM) learning model of “autonomy-collaboration.” Methods A total of 91 undergraduate students majoring in clinical medicine at Zhongshan Clinical College of Dalian University from the 2019 batch were selected as the participants in this study. They were instructed to follow the EBM learning model of “autonomy-collaboration.” Upon completion of the course, questionnaires, records of participants’ sentiments and insights, and evidence-based clinical practice reports were used as indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of the training. Results This learning modality effectively enhanced independent learning ability of the students, stimulated their interest in learning, and strengthened the communication between students and teachers, thereby improving the quality of teaching. Conclusion The novel EBM learning model of “autonomy-collaboration,” exhibited robust effectiveness in instruction and facilitated the seamless integration of theoretical knowledge with clinical practice. Consequently, its widespread adoption is strongly recommended.

Wind power has been developing rapidly as a key measure to mitigate human-driven global warming. The understanding of the development and impacts of wind farms on local climate and vegetation is of great importance for their rational use but is still limited. In this study, we combined remote sensing and on-site investigations to identify wind farm locations in Inner Mongolia and performed landscape pattern analyses using Fragstats. We explored the impacts of wind farms on land surface temperature (LST) and vegetation net primary productivity (NPP) between 1990 and 2020 by contrasting these metrics in wind farms with those in non-wind farm areas. The results showed that the area of wind farms increased rapidly from 1.2 km2 in 1990 to 10,755 km2 in 2020. Spatially, wind farms are mainly clustered in three aggregation areas in the center. Further, wind farms increased nighttime LST, with a mean value of 0.23 °C, but had minor impacts on the daytime LST. Moreover, wind farms caused a decline in NPP, especially over forest areas, with an average reduction of 12.37 GC/m². Given the impact of wind farms on LST and NPP, we suggest that the development of wind farms should fully consider their direct and potential impacts. This study provides scientific guidance on the spatial pattern of future wind farms.

Abstract Background WHO stated the environment is an important factor affecting the development of hospice care. The environment is the sum of factors affecting behavior besides the individual factors. Currently, a scale to comprehensively assess the hospice environment of nurse is still lacking. This study aimed to develop an instrument to investigate the environmental factors affecting hospice care of nurses. Methods Literature review and a semi-structured interview were conducted to form the items pool of the Hospice Care Environment Scale. Two rounds of Delphi expert consultation were conducted by 16 experts to revise the scale dimensions and entries to form the Hospice Care Environment Scale. A psychometric evaluation was then performed among 530 oncology nurses in a large tertiary oncology hospital in Hubei Province. The 500 valid questionnaires were randomly divided into two groups in a 1:1 ratio, sample 1 (n1 = 250) for item screening and sample 2 (n2 = 250) for quality evaluation of the resulting scale. Item analysis, reliability analysis, validity analysis and acceptability analysis were performed. Result The Hospice Care Environment Scale consists of two dimensions and 13 entries. The Cronbach’s α coefficient of the Hospice Care Environment Scale was 0.970, and the Cronbach’s α coefficient of the two dimensions were 0.952 and 0.969, respectively, with the Item-content validity index and average Scale- content validity index of the scale was both 1.000. The validation factor analysis showed the standardized path coefficients of each item were basically above 0.5, and the factor structure model was stable and suitable. The average completion time of the scale was about 3 min, which had good feasibility. Conclusion The Hospice Care Environment Scale to assess the environment of hospice care services, has good content and construct validity and reliability. This scale can provide guidance to evaluate the hospice care environment.

Abstract Objective Cystic echinococcosis (CE) represents a profoundly perilous zoonotic disease. The advent of viral macrogenomics has facilitated the exploration of hitherto uncharted viral territories. In the scope of this investigation, our objective is to scrutinize disparities in the intestinal microbiotic ecosystems of canines dwelling in elevated terrains and those afflicted by Echinococcus infection, employing the tool of viral macrogenomics. Methods In this study, we collected a comprehensive total of 1,970 fecal samples from plateau dogs infected with Echinococcus, as well as healthy control plateau dogs from the Yushu and Guoluo regions in the highland terrain of China. These samples were subjected to viral macrogenomic analysis to investigate the viral community inhabiting the canine gastrointestinal tract. Results Our meticulous analysis led to the identification of 136 viral genomic sequences, encompassing eight distinct viral families. Conclusion The outcomes of this study hold the potential to enhance our comprehension of the intricate interplay between hosts, parasites, and viral communities within the highland canine gut ecosystem. Through the examination of phage presence, it may aid in early detection or assessment of infection severity, providing valuable insights into Echinococcus infection and offering prospects for potential treatment strategies.

Abstract Background Whether asthma patients could benefit from home monitoring for fractional exhaled nitric oxide (flow of 50 mL/s, FeNO50) is unknown. We explore the application value of home monitoring FeNO50 in daily asthma management. Methods Twenty-two untreated, uncontrolled asthma patients were selected. Medical history, blood and sputum samples, pulmonary function, Asthma Control Test (ACT), and other clinical data of the subjects were collected. All subjects underwent daily monitoring for four weeks using a FeNO50 monitor and mobile spirometry (mSpirometry). The diurnal differences and dynamic changes were described. Compare the effect-acting time and the relative plateau of treatment between FeNO50 and mSpirometry monitoring. Results In the first two weeks, the morning median (IQR) level of FeNO50 was 44 (35, 56) ppb, which was significantly higher than the evening median level [41 (32, 53) ppb, P = 0.028]. The median (IQR) effect-acting time assessed by FeNO50 was 4 (3, 5) days, which was significantly earlier than each measure of mSpirometry (P < 0.05). FeNO50 reached the relative plateau significantly earlier than FEV1 (15 ± 2 days vs. 21 ± 3 days, P < 0.001). After treatment, the daily and weekly variation rates of FeNO50 showed a gradually decreasing trend (P < 0.05). The ACT score, sputum eosinophils, and blood eosinophils also significantly improved (P ≤ 0.01). Conclusions The daily home monitoring of FeNO50 in asthmatic patients showed significant circadian rhythm, and the sensitivity of FeNO50 in evaluating the response to treatment was higher than mSpirometry. The daily and weekly variation rates of FeNO50 change dynamically with time, which may be used to assess the condition of asthma.

Abstract Objectives While surgery plays a crucial role in treating papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC), the potential effects of subsequent TSH suppression therapy on prognosis should not be overlooked. This study aims to investigate the factors that influence postoperative TSH suppression therapy in patients with PTC. Methods This study was a retrospective cohort study conducted at our hospital. It included 268 patients who underwent surgery and were pathologically diagnosed with PTC between February 2019 and February 2021. The selected patients received postoperative TSH suppression therapy. Based on the TSH level measured 12 months after surgery, the patients were divided into two groups: TSH level conforming group (n = 80) and non-conforming group (n = 188). We then compared the general clinical data, clinicopathological characteristics, preoperative laboratory test indicators, postoperative levothyroxine sodium tablet dosage, follow-up frequency, and thyroid function-related indicators between the two groups of patients. The correlation between the observed indicators and the success of TSH suppression therapy was further analyzed, leading to the identification of influencing factors for TSH suppression therapy. Results There were no statistically significant differences in general clinical data and clinicopathological characteristics between the two groups of patients (P > 0.05). Superplastic forming is considered a highly efficient technique for shaping intricate components from titanium matrix composites (TMCs). In this work, high-temperature TMCs with 5 vol% (TiBw + TiCp) reinforcements underwent superplastic tensile tests at various temperatures and strain rates. The results demonstrated that at all deformation temperatures (900 °C–1050 °C) and strain rates (5 × 10−3 s−1 to 10−4 s−1), the elongation of composite sheets surpassed 100%. The strain rate of 10−3 s−1 and a temperature of 1000 °C were found to yield the maximum elongation of 328.1%. At 900 °C, the matrix grains maintain a lamellar morphology during the main stage of deformation, and dynamic recovery (DRV) is the primary mechanism of matrix softening. At 1000 °C, wide-range dynamic recrystallization (DRX) takes place, and grain boundary slip coordinated by grain rotation is the main mechanism of deformation. At 1050 °C, the matrix grains undergo DRX and grow rapidly by migration, and the number of grain boundaries decreases dramatically, resulting in poor superplastic qualities. In the early stages of superplastic deformation, micropores sprout at the triple grain boundaries and at the interfaces between the reinforcements and the matrix. As the deformation proceeds, the micropores extend along the tensile direction and connect with each other to form cavity stringers (CS). The distance between the CS rapidly narrows as the stretching process continues, and eventually the CS links horizontally to form cavity coalescence (CC). Micropore dilatation around the reinforcements causes debonding and cavitation, leading to material failure.

Abstract The goal of blind image super-resolution (BISR) is to recover the corresponding high-resolution image from a given low-resolution image with unknown degradation. Prior related research has primarily focused effectively on utilizing the kernel as prior knowledge to recover the high-frequency components of image. However, they overlooked the function of structural prior information within the same image, which resulted in unsatisfactory recovery performance for textures with strong self-similarity. To address this issue, we propose a two stage blind super-resolution network that is based on kernel estimation strategy and is capable of integrating structural texture as prior knowledge. In the first stage, we utilize a dynamic kernel estimator to achieve degradation presentation embedding. Then, we propose a triple path attention groups consists of triple path attention blocks and a global feature fusion block to extract structural prior information to assist the recovery of details within images. The quantitative and qualitative results on standard benchmarks with various degradation settings, including Gaussian8 and DIV2KRK, validate that our proposed method outperforms the state-of-the-art methods in terms of fidelity and recovery of clear details. Abstract Purpose This study aimed to evaluate the feasibility of 11C-CFT PET brain imaging in Parkinson’s Disease using a total-body PET/CT scanner and explore the optimal scan duration to guide the clinical practice. Methods Thirty-two patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD) performing 11C-CFT PET/CT brain imaging using a total-body PET/CT scanner were retrospectively enrolled. The PET data acquired over a period of 900 s were reconstructed into groups of different durations: 900-s, 720-s, 600-s, 480-s, 300-s, 180-s, 120-s, 60-s, and 30-s (G900 to G30). The subjective image quality analysis was performed using 5-point scales. Semi-quantitative measurements were analyzed by SUVmean and dopamine transporter (DAT) binding of key brain regions implicated in PD, including the caudate nucleus and putamen. The full-time images (G900) were served as reference. Results The overall G900, G720, and G600 image quality scores were 5.0 ± 0.0, 5.0 ± 0.0, and 4.9 ± 0.3 points, respectively, and there was no significant difference among these groups (P > 0.05). Abstract Exciton–polaritons (polaritons) resulting from the strong exciton–photon interaction stimulates the development of novel low-threshold coherent light sources to circumvent the ever-increasing energy demands of optical communications1–3. Polaritons from bound states in the continuum (BICs) are promising for Bose–Einstein condensation owing to their theoretically infinite quality factors, which provide prolonged lifetimes and benefit the polariton accumulations4–7. However, BIC polariton condensation remains limited to cryogenic temperatures ascribed to the small exciton binding energies of conventional material platforms. Herein, we demonstrated room-temperature BIC polariton condensation in perovskite photonic crystal lattices. BIC polariton condensation was demonstrated at the vicinity of the saddle point of polariton dispersion that generates directional vortex beam emission with long-range coherence. We also explore the peculiar switching effect among the miniaturized BIC polariton modes through effective polariton−polariton scattering. Our work paves the way for the practical implementation of BIC polariton condensates for integrated photonic and topological circuits.

Abstract Background Prostate cancer (PCa) is becoming the most common malignancy in men worldwide. We investigated the effect of astragaloside IV combined with PESV on the gut microbiota and metabolite of PCa mice and the process of treating PCa. Methods Nude mice were genetically modified to develop tumors characteristic of PCa. The treatment of PCa mice involved the administration of a combination of astragaloside IV and peptides derived from scorpion venom (PESV). Feces were collected for both 16 S rDNA and metabolic analysis. Fecal supernatant was extracted and used for fecal transplantation in PCa mice. Tumor development was observed in both PCa mice and nude mice. Tumor histopathology was examined, and the expression of inflammatory factors and the AGE-RAGE axis in PCa tissues were analyzed. Results PCa mice treated with Astragaloside IV in combination with PESV showed a significant reduction in tumor volume and weight, and stabilization of gut microbiota and metabolites. At the Genus level, significant differences were observed in Porphyromonas, Corynebacterium, Arthromitus and Blautia, and the differential metabolites were PA16_016_0, Astragaloside+, Vitamin A acid, Nardosinone, a-Nortestoster, D-Pantethine, Hypoxanthine, Pregnenolone, cinnamic acid, Pyridoxa, Cirtruline and Xanthurenate. There was a correlation between gut microbiota and metabolites. After the fecal transplantation, tumor growth was effectively suppressed in the PCa mice. Notably, both the mRNA and protein levels of the receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) were significantly decreased. Furthermore, the expression of inflammatory factors, namely NF-κB, TNF-α, and IL-6, in the tumor tissues was significantly attenuated. Conversely, upregulation of RAGE led to increased inflammation and reversed tumor growth in the mice. Conclusion Astragaloside IV combined with PESV could treat PCa by intervening in gut microbiota composition and metabolite by targeting RAGE.

Abstract Cancer models play critical roles in basic cancer research and precision medicine. However, current in vitro cancer models are limited by their inability to mimic the three-dimensional architecture and heterogeneous tumor microenvironments (TME) of in vivo tumors. Here, we develop an innovative patient-specific lung cancer assembloid (LCA) model by using droplet microfluidic technology based on a microinjection strategy. This method enables precise manipulation of clinical microsamples and rapid generation of LCAs with good intra-batch consistency in size and cell composition by evenly encapsulating patient tumor-derived TME cells and lung cancer organoids inside microgels. LCAs recapitulate the inter- and intratumoral heterogeneity, TME cellular diversity, and genomic and transcriptomic landscape of their parental tumors. LCA model could reconstruct the functional heterogeneity of cancer-associated fibroblasts and reflect the influence of TME on drug responses compared to cancer organoids. Notably, LCAs accurately replicate the clinical outcomes of patients, suggesting the potential of the LCA model to predict personalized treatments. Collectively, our studies provide a valuable method for precisely fabricating cancer assembloids and a promising LCA model for cancer research and personalized medicine.

Abstract Sugarcane is a vital crop with significant economic and industrial value. However, the cultivated sugarcane’s ultra-complex genome still needs to be resolved due to its high ploidy and extensive recombination between the two subgenomes. Here, we generate a chromosomal-scale, haplotype-resolved genome assembly for a hybrid sugarcane cultivar ZZ1. This assembly contains 10.4 Gb genomic sequences and 68,509 annotated genes with defined alleles in two sub-genomes distributed in 99 original and 15 recombined chromosomes. RNA-seq data analysis shows that sugar accumulation-associated gene families have been primarily expanded from the ZZSO subgenome. However, genes responding to pokkah boeng disease susceptibility have been derived dominantly from the ZZSS subgenome. The region harboring the possible smut resistance genes has expanded significantly. Among them, the expansion of WAK and FLS2 families is proposed to have occurred during the breeding of ZZ1. Our findings provide insights into the complex genome of hybrid sugarcane cultivars and pave the way for future genomics and molecular breeding studies in sugarcane.

The Pan-Eurasian Experiment Modelling Platform (PEEX-MP) is one of the key blocks of the PEEX Research Programme. The PEEX MP has more than 30 models and is directed towards seamless environmental prediction. The main focus area is the Arctic-boreal regions and China. The models used in PEEX-MP cover several main components of the Earth’s system, such as the atmosphere, hydrosphere, pedosphere and biosphere, and resolve the physical-chemical-biological processes at different spatial and temporal scales and resolutions. This paper introduces and discusses PEEX MP multi-scale modelling concept for the Earth system, online integrated, forward/inverse, and socioeconomical modelling, and other approaches with a particular focus on applications in the PEEX geographical domain. The employed high-performance computing facilities, capabilities, and PEEX dataflow for modelling results are described. Several virtual research platforms (PEEX-View, Virtual Research Environment, Web-based Atlas) for handling PEEX modelling and observational results are introduced. The overall approach allows us to understand better physical-chemical-biological processes, Earth’s system interactions and feedbacks and to provide valuable information for assessment studies on evaluating risks, impact, consequences, etc. for population, environment and climate in the PEEX domain. This work was also one of the last projects of Prof. Sergej Zilitinkevich, who passed away on 15 February 2021. Since the finalization took time, the paper was actually submitted in 2023 and we could not argue that the final paper text was agreed with him.

Abstract Background Elevated central venous pressure (CVP) is deemed as a sign of right ventricular (RV) dysfunction. We aimed to characterize the echocardiographic features of RV in septic patients with elevated CVP, and quantify associations between RV function parameters and 30-day mortality. Methods We retrospectively reviewed a cohort of septic patients with CVP ≥ 8 mmHg in a tertiary hospital intensive care unit. General characteristics and echocardiographic parameters including tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion (TAPSE), pulmonary vascular resistance (PVR) as well as prognostic data were collected. Associations between RV function parameters and 30-day mortality were assessed using Cox regression models. Results Echocardiography was performed in 244 septic patients with CVP ≥ 8 mmHg. Echocardiographic findings revealed that various types of abnormal RV function can occur individually or collectively. Prevalence of RV systolic dysfunction was 46%, prevalence of RV enlargement was 34%, and prevalence of PVR increase was 14%. In addition, we collected haemodynamic consequences and found that prevalence of systemic venous congestion was 16%, prevalence of RV-pulmonary artery decoupling was 34%, and prevalence of low cardiac index (CI) was 23%. The 30-day mortality of the enrolled population was 24.2%. In a Cox regression analysis, TAPSE (HR:0.542, 95% CI:0.302–0.972, p = 0.040) and PVR (HR:1.384, 95% CI:1.007–1.903, p = 0.045) were independently associated with 30-day mortality. Conclusions Echocardiographic findings demonstrated a high prevalence of RV-related abnormalities (RV enlargement, RV systolic dysfunction and PVR increase) in septic patients with elevated CVP. Among those echocardiographic parameters, TAPSE and PVR were independently associated with 30-day mortality in these patients.

Osteosarcoma (OS) is a rare but aggressive malignancy. Despite previous reports, molecular characterization of this disease is not well understood, and little is known regarding OS in Chinese patients. Herein, we analyzed the genomic signatures of 73 Chinese OS cases. TP53, NCOR1, LRP1B, ATRX, RB1, and TFE3 were the most frequently mutated gene in our OS cohort. In addition, the genomic analysis of Western OS patients was performed. Notably, there were remarkable disparities in mutational landscape, base substitution pattern, and tumor mutational burden between the Chinese and Western OS cohorts. Specific molecular mechanisms, including DNA damage repair (DDR) gene mutations, copy number variation (CNV) presence, aneuploidy, and intratumoral heterogeneity, were associated with disease progression. Additionally, 30.1% of OS patients carried clinically actionable alterations, which were mainly enriched in PI3K, MAPK, DDR, and RTK signaling pathways. A specific molecular subtype incorporating DDR alterations and CNVs was significantly correlated with distant metastasis‐free survival and event‐free survival, and this correlation was observed in all subgroups with different characteristics. These findings comprehensively elucidated the genomic profile and revealed novel prognostic factors in OS, which would contribute to understanding this disease and promoting precision medicine of this population.

Abstract Aims A therapeutic strategy for chronic heart failure (HF) is to lower resting heart rate (HR). Ivabradine is a well‐known HR‐lowering agent, but limited prospective data exist regarding its use in Chinese patients. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of ivabradine in Chinese patients with chronic HF. Methods and results This multicentre, single‐arm, prospective, observational study enrolled Chinese patients with chronic HF. The primary outcome was change from baseline in HR at 1 and 6 months, measured by pulse counting. Effectiveness was also evaluated using laboratory tests, the Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire (KCCQ) clinical summary score (CSS) and overall summary score (OSS), and New York Heart Association (NYHA) class. Treatment‐emergent adverse events (TEAEs) were assessed. A post hoc analysis examined the effectiveness and safety of ivabradine combined with an angiotensin receptor–neprilysin inhibitor (ARNI) or beta‐blocker. A total of 1003 patients were enrolled [mean age 54.4 ± 15.0 years, 773 male (77.1%), mean baseline HR 88.5 ± 11.3 b.p.m., mean blood pressure 115.7/74.4 ± 17.2/12.3 mmHg, mean left ventricular ejection fraction 30.9 ± 7.6%, NYHA Classes III and IV in 48.8% and 22.0% of patients, respectively]. One strain of Hanseniaspora uvarum YT-35 was screened from fermented sediment of wild cherry. Hanseniaspora uvarum YT-35 and commercial Saccharomyces cerevisiae were used as coculture for manufacture of fermented wild cherry beverage. The dynamics of microbial populations, reducing sugars and ethanol were analyzed at different stages of fermentation using single-strain fermentation with 2 strains of bacteria as a control. Meanwhile, the organic acids and volatile aromatic compounds of the fermented beverages were detected by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and headspace solid-phase microextraction/gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (HS-SPME/GC-MS). The results showed that H. uvarum YT-35 dominated in the pre-fermentation stage of co-culture. Compared with single fermentation with S. cerevisiae, the coculture fermentation resulted in lower ethanol content (3.51 g/L). Notably, HPLC results revealed that coculture fermented beverage reduced the yield of citric, malic and quinic acids and increased the yield of glacial acetic acid. HS-SPME/GC-MS results revealed that coculture fermented beverage produced more volatile compounds of esters, such as ethyl caproate, methyl benzoate and isoamyl octanoate and showed enhanced contents of ethyl laurate, ethyl octanoate, phenyl ethyl alcohol, benzyl alcohol, octanoic acid and lauric acid. Meanwhile, clustering analysis revealed that coculture fermentation were correlated with the greatest number of volatile aroma compounds in the fermented wild cherry beverage. This study provides scientific basis and theoretical guidance for the research of coculture strains with different metabolic potential in improving the quality of fruit juice fermented beverage.

Abstract Diffuse myocardial fibrosis is associated with adverse outcomes in heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF). Dual-energy CT (DECT) can noninvasively assess myocardial fibrosis by quantification of extracellular volume (ECV) fraction. This study evaluated the association between ECV measured by DECT and clinical outcomes in patients with HFpEF. 125 hospitalized HFpEF patients were enrolled in this retrospective cohort study. ECV was measured using DECT with late iodine enhancement. The composite endpoint was defined as HFpEF hospitalization and all-cause mortality during the follow-up. During the median follow-up of 10.4 months, 34 patients (27.20%) experienced the composite outcomes, including 5 deaths; and 29 HFpEF hospitalizations. The higher DECT-ECV group had higher rates of composite outcomes than the low ECV group (log-rank X 2 = 6.818, P = 0.033). In multivariate Cox regression analysis, the ECV (HR 1.17, 95% CI 1.06–1.30, P = 0.001) and NT-pro BNP (HR 2.83, 95% CI 1.16–6.88, P = 0.022) were independent risk factors for the adverse outcomes. Myocardial ECV measured using DECT was an independent risk factor for adverse outcomes in patients with HFpEF.

Abstract Methylation of the promoters of SHOX2 and RASSF1A (LungMe®) exhibits promise as a potential molecular biomarker for diagnosing lung cancer. This study sought to assess the aberrant methylation of SHOX2 and RASSF1A in broncho-exfoliated cells (BEC) and compare it with conventional cytology, histology examination, immunohistochemistry, and serum tumor markers to evaluate the overall diagnostic efficiency for lung cancer. This study recruited 240 patients, including 185 malignant cases and 55 benign cases. In our observation, we noted a slight reduction in the detection sensitivity, however, the ΔCt method exhibited a significant enhancement in specificity when compared to Ct judgment. Abstract Mutations in the Contactin-associated protein-like 2 (CNTNAP2) gene are associated with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and ectodomain shedding of the CNTNAP2 protein plays a role in its function. However, key enzymes involved in the C-terminal cleavage of CNTNAP2 remain largely unknown, and the effect of ASD-associated mutations on this process and its role in ASD pathogenesis remain elusive. In this report we showed that CNTNAP2 undergoes sequential cleavages by furin, ADAM10/17-dependent α-secretase and presenilin-dependent γ-secretase. We identified that the cleavage sites of ADAM10 and ADAM17 in CNTNAP2 locate at its C-terminal residue I79 and L96, and the main α-cleavage product C79 by ADAM10 is required for the subsequent γ-secretase cleavage to generate CNTNAP2 intracellular domain (CICD). ASD-associated CNTNAP2 mutations impair the α-cleavage to generate C79, and the inhibition leads to ASD-like repetitive and social behavior abnormalities in the Cntnap2 -I1254T knock-in mice. Finally, exogenous expression of C79 improves autism-like phenotypes in the Cntnap2 -I1254T knock-in and Cntnap2 −/− knockout mice. This data demonstrates that the α-secretase is essential for CNTNAP2 processing and its function. Our study indicates that inhibition of the cleavage by pathogenic mutations underlies ASD pathogenesis, and upregulation of its C-terminal fragments could have therapeutical potentials for ASD treatment.

BackgroundAs one of several refractive surgeries, Implant Collamer Lens (ICL) surgery offers stable biocompatibility and consistent, high-quality visual outcomes. ICL has become an effective complement to corneal refractive surgery, gradually becoming one of the mainstream methods for correcting refractive errors. This study employs bibliometric methods to analyze research on ICL surgery to understand the progress, hotspots, and potential future trends in this field.MethodsThis study performed a bibliometric analysis of all ICL-related articles collected from the Web of Science Core Collection database between January 1st, 1996, and December 31st, 2023. The CiteSpace 6.2.R4 tool, Excel and the Web of Science website were used to analyze data by country, institution, keywords, and clusters of keywords. Additionally, an in-depth interpretation and analysis were conducted on the field’s high-impact articles.ResultsSince the first clinical application report of ICL, there have been a total of 875 studies. The number of papers published annually has shown an overall increasing trend. Studies published from China are the most numerous, accounting for 29.14% (n = 255) of the total. Among the institutions, Fudan University and Kitasato University both have published more than 50 papers, with Kitasato University having the highest H-index of 26. The journals with the top 10 publication volumes are all specialized in ophthalmology. The burst keywords since the introduction of ICL surgery have been “intraocular lens,” “refractive surgery,” and “cataract surgery.” The current burst keywords include “visual quality,” “vector analysis,” “axial length,” etc. The results of keyword clustering included ICL, pIOL, high myopia, axial length, optical quality, refractive surgery, ICL implantation, and pupil size. In the High-impact Articles, it was found that the high-impact articles predominantly focus on the safety, efficacy, and predictability of ICL surgery.ConclusionResearch on ICL has grown since its clinical introduction, with the advent of the central hole ICL sparking a surge in recent hotspots, particularly in China. Current hotpots in the field of ICL surgery are “visual quality,” “ICL implantation,” “vector analysis,” “axial length,” “evo ICL,” “ICL v4c,” and “ICL.” ICL surgery research trends have evolved from implantation techniques to biological parameters associated with ICL surgery and the benefits of new ICL designs.

PurposeThis study aims to evaluate the utility of radiomic features from dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (DCE-MRI) in distinguishing HER2-low from HER2-zero breast cancer.Patients and methodsWe retrospectively analyzed 118 MRI cases, including 78 HER2-low and 40 HER2-zero patients confirmed by immunohistochemistry or fluorescence in situ hybridization. From each DCE-MRI case, 960 radiomic features were extracted. These features were screened and reduced using intraclass correlation coefficient, Mann-Whitney U test, and least absolute shrinkage to establish rad-scores. Logistic regression (LR) assessed the model’s effectiveness in distinguishing HER2-low from HER2-zero. A clinicopathological MRI characteristic model was constructed using univariate and multivariate analysis, and a nomogram was developed combining rad-scores with significant MRI characteristics. Model performance was evaluated using the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve, and clinical benefit was assessed with decision curve analysis.ResultsThe radiomics model, clinical model, and nomogram successfully distinguished between HER2-low and HER2-zero. The radiomics model showed excellent performance, with area under the curve (AUC) values of 0.875 in the training set and 0.845 in the test set, outperforming the clinical model (AUC = 0.691 and 0.672, respectively). HER2 status correlated with increased rad-score and Time Intensity Curve (TIC). The nomogram outperformed both models, with AUC, sensitivity, and specificity values of 0.892, 79.6%, and 82.8% in the training set, and 0.886, 83.3%, and 90.9% in the test set.ConclusionsThe DCE-MRI-based nomogram shows promising potential in differentiating HER2-low from HER2-zero status in breast cancer patients.
