Purpose: The benefits of infant swimming must be considered against the risk of adverse occurrences during infant swimming practice. Several research studies have recommended against newborn swimming since there is little data to support its use in preventing drowning in infants. Methodology / Evidence Acquisitionː In the context of the PRISMA guidelines, the researcher did a systematic review and meta-analysis research on infant swimming. From 1950 to 2021, an online database search was conducted using keywords and MeSH terms such as "infant swimming", "safety", "infant swimming lessons", and "infant diving" on healthcare search engines such as PubMed, Google Scholar, BioMed Central, Cochrane Library, ERIC, PILOTS, PsycARTICLES, MEDLINE, AMED, CINAHL, EMBASE, Web of Science, Science Direct, Taylor & Francis, and Med SC. The researcher excluded articles that were first published in a foreign language and did not have an English translation. Findings / Evidence Synthesisː The risk of respiratory tract infection is greater in the control group, 95% confidence interval is 1.95 [1.24, 1.97] (p = 0.000). The difference in risk of atopy is between infant swimmers and the control group is significant, and the risk is greater in the control group compared to swimming infants; 95% confidence interval is 1.36 [1.01, 1.84] (p = 0.000). Conclusions/ Originality Value: Swimming does not raise the risk of infection in infants, nor does it predispose them to asthma. We propose further more research into the benefits of infant swimming in reducing the burden of childhood drowning, which is the leading cause of death in this age group.

Ag/PW10V2/am-TiO2−x was designed by decorating OVs-enriched am-TiO2−x with Ag NPs and PW10V2. The formed Z-scheme heterojunction, Ag–am-TiO2−x interface and plentiful surface OVs account for its high photocatalytic efficiency in nitrogen fixation.

Purpose: To evaluate the effectiveness of heart-rate variability (HRV) biofeedback in improving autonomic function, mood, and sleep in elite bobsleigh athletes. Methods: Eight Chinese Winter Olympic bobsleigh athletes (age: 24 [2] y, body mass: 89 [15] kg, and height: 184 [5] cm) completed a randomized crossover study with and without HRV biofeedback before a single night’s sleep. HRV biofeedback was provided 35 minutes prior to bedtime in the experimental condition. The assessment of HRV took place 45 and 10 minutes before bedtime. The Profile of Mood States questionnaire was completed 50 and 15 minutes prior to bedtime. Sleep duration and quality were measured through an air-mattress sleep-monitoring system. Results: Sleep efficiency (P = .020; F = 7.831; CI, 0.008 to 0.072) and the percentage of deep sleep duration increased (P = .013; F = 10.875; CI, 0.006 to 0.035), while the percentage of light sleep decreased (P = .034; F = 6.893; CI, −0.038 to −0.002). Presleep HRV biofeedback increased parasympathetic and decreased sympathetic activity. Mood states of anger (P = .006, F = 7.573), panic (P = .031, F = 4.288), tension (P = .011, F = 6.284), depression (P = .010, F = 6.016), fatigue (P = .000, F = 16.901), and total mood disturbance (P = .001, F = 11.225) were reduced before sleep. Conclusion: Presleep HRV biofeedback improved some measures of autonomic function, mood, and sleep quality in Chinese Olympic bobsleigh athletes. Presleep HRV biofeedback provides a practical strategy that may help reduce sleep disturbances during periods of training and competition.

With the continuous development of physical education reform, the defects and deficiencies of physical education teaching in colleges and universities are increasingly exposed. The reform of the original physical education teaching thought, education system, teaching mode, and method has achieved little. At present, the research on the prediction of physical education teaching achievements is mainly aimed at the prediction of athletes and physical education teaching achievements or the prediction of the past data of college students. This paper studies the physical education under the decision tree under the background of big data and constructs the physical education management system. When the number of tests reaches 40, the qualified rate of long-distance running is 65.2%, that of basketball is 68.1%, and that of volleyball is 68.2%. The quality of physical education teaching determines the lifeline of the development of school physical education teaching. In the process of collecting and selecting teaching materials, this paper enriches teaching materials and teaching reflection, cultivates one’s own understanding, and improves the artistic appeal and creativity of teaching.

A differentially fed hybrid dipole, slot, and patch antenna with unidirectional radiation patterns is designed in this article. The antenna consists of a metal strip, a patch loaded with a slot, and a simple wideband 180° out-of-phase power splitter (OPS). The OPS can generate two signals with the same amplitude but accurate phase difference of 180° to achieve one-port differential feeding. The hybrid modes of different types of antennas, i.e., dipole, patch, and slot, are excited to obtain five bands. Additionally, the TM01, TM21, and TM03 modes of the patch antenna are excited. By loading the slot and the metal strip, the radiation pattern of TM21 mode is converted from conical to broadside, and the ground walls further concentrate the radiation pattern. The ground walls also enhance the antenna gain, with the increments of 1 dB at 3.5 GHz, 3.4 dB at 4.65 GHz, 4.1 dB at 5.5 GHz, and 1.4 dB at 6.3 GHz. Finally, the antenna is fabricated and measured. The measured results show that the antenna covers five impedance bandwidths (IMBWs) of 1.85–1.91 GHz (3.2%), 3.13–3.66 GHz (15.6%), 4.62–4.98 GHz (7.5%), 5.10–5.82 GHz (13.2%), and 6.10–6.57 GHz (7.4%) for $\vert \,\,{S} _{11}\vert dB. The radiation patterns at each band are toward the broadside, with peak gains of 5.1 dBi at 1.85 GHz, 8.8 dBi at 3.45 GHz, 8.8 dBi at 4.7 GHz, 12.2 dBi at 5.5 GHz, and 9.7 dBi at 6.3 GHz.

In this paper, a $\varepsilon $ -negative metasurface superstrate is proposed for mutual coupling reduction of large antenna arrays. Unlike the previous decoupling metasurface works that are mostly confined to two-ports antennas, the proposed decoupling superstrate can be extended to massive multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems. A $4\times 4$ antenna array is used as an example to illustrate the decoupling performance of the proposed metasurface. With the decoupling metasurface, the worst mutual coupling of the antenna array is improved by 8 dB over the operation bandwidth with a maximum mutual coupling reduction of 25 dB. Moreover, the decoupling metasurface also help restore the radiation patterns, bring down the active voltage sanding wave ratio, and broaden the bandwidth of the array.

In this study, magnetically-recoverable core–shell catalysts with different amount of H3PW12O40 loading [Fe3O4@C@mTa2O5-NH2-PW12 (w%)] were prepared by the application of phosphotungstic acid supported on amino group functionalized magnetic core–shell mesoporous tantalum pentoxide microspheres. The prepared samples were characterized by FT-IR, N2-adsorption–desorption isotherms, TEM, SEM, Pyridine-IR analysis, XRD and magnetism. Fe3O4@C@mTa2O5-NH2-PW12 samples present both Bronsted and Lewis acidity, large BET surface area and high magnetization. The catalytic activity was evaluated by the acetalization of different aldehydes with diols, and the results show that Fe3O4@C@mTa2O5-NH2-PW12 (14.47%) catalyst exhibits the highest catalytic activity for acetalization of aldehydes with glycols with 94.5% conversion of benzaldehyde and 99% selectivity to benzaldehyde glycol acetal at 80 °C. The catalytic activity of the catalyst for acetalization is related to its total acidity and Bronsted–Lewis acid synergy. The catalyst Fe3O4@C@mTa2O5-NH2-PW12 can be easily recovered and reused for at least 5 times without obvious decrease of catalytic activity.

Herein, the mesoporous composite materials, mTiO2–ZrO2/PTAy-x (PTA = phosphotungstic acid, x represents the molar ratio of Ti to Zr, y represents the weight percent of PTA in mTiO2–ZrO2/PTA samples), have been prepared by the surfactant-assisted sol–gel method combined with a subsequent hydrothermal treatment. The as-prepared catalysts were fully characterized by FT-IR, XRD, SEM, TEM, XPS, DRS, PLs and nitrogen adsorption–desorption techniques. The results indicated that mTiO2–ZrO2 sample with the TiO2 and ZrO2 molar ratio of 3 exhibits good crystallinity, large internal surface areas and narrow-sized pores. The PTA clusters incorporated in mTiO2–ZrO2 frameworks preserve intact Keggin structure according to EDX, FT-IR and diffuse reflectance UV/vis/NIR spectroscopy. The band gap energy of as-prepared composites is reduced compared with single components. The PL experiments revealed that the obtained mTiO2–ZrO2 can strongly retard the recombination of photogenerated electrons and holes compared with a single oxide, and the introduction of PTA species can further improve the light adsorption and the photochemical stability, therefore efficiently promoting photocatalytic activity of the ternary composite materials. Photocatalytic experiments confirmed that mTiO2–ZrO2/PTA10-3 displayed highly efficient and durable activity for the photodegradation of methyl orange under simulated sunlight and photoreduction of Cr(VI) under visible light. The study of the photocatalytic mechanism revealed that superoxide radicals (∙O2−) and holes (h+) are the main active species. These materials are very stable in the photocatalytic reactions, and therefore, they are promising and efficient catalysts for practical applications.

A miniaturized wide beamwidth dielectric resonator antenna is presented. The wedge-shaped concave structure is introduced to enhance the phase delay between the different positions on the same aperture. Some metal patches are attached on the side walls of concave structure and the top of dielectric resonator antenna to miniaturize the antenna. The resonant frequency of the proposed antenna can be reduced by 26.2%, with excellent half-power beamwidth performance of 165.4° and 179.8° in the E- and H-planes at 24 GHz, respectively.

Prostate cancer is a prevalent public health problem, especially because noncutaneous advanced malignant forms significantly affect the lifespan and quality of life of men worldwide. New therapeutic targets and approaches are urgently needed. The current study reports elevated expression of R1 (CDCA7L/RAM2/JPO2), a c-Myc–interacting protein and transcription factor, in human prostate cancer tissue specimens. In a clinical cohort, high R1 expression is associated with disease recurrence and decreased patient survival. Overexpression and knockdown of R1 in human prostate cancer cells indicate that R1 induces cell proliferation and colony formation. Moreover, silencing R1 dramatically reduces the growth of prostate tumor xenografts in mice. Mechanistically, R1 increases c-Myc protein stability by inhibiting ubiquitination and proteolysis through transcriptional suppression of HUWE1, a c-Myc–targeting E3 ligase, via direct interaction with a binding element in the promoter. Moreover, transcriptional repression is supported by a negative coexpression correlation between R1 and HUWE1 in a prostate cancer clinical dataset. Collectively, these findings, for the first time, characterize the contribution of R1 to prostate cancer pathogenesis. Implications: These findings provide evidence that R1 is a novel regulator of prostate tumor growth by stabilizing c-Myc protein, meriting further investigation of its therapeutic and prognostic potential.

With the rapid development of science and technology, intelligent transportation is also booming, and the safety of intelligent transportation has been paid more and more attention. Among accidents, car accidents occupy the first place, accounting for more than 50% of the total number of accidental deaths. Taking automobile accidents as an example, the number of deaths due to traffic accidents in the world has exceeded 30 million, more than the number of deaths in the world war. People, cars, and roads are the three elements of traffic, of which people are the most uncertain factor. In order to reduce car accidents caused by the driver’s body, this paper proposes a STM32-based wireless monitoring method for the driver’s critical life. This method uses ADS1292 and LMT70 collects the driver’s heart rate and body temperature data, the collected data is further processed by STM32, and the processed data is uploaded to the upper computer via WiFi, and the analysis shows. This method can effectively reduce the accident rate caused by drivers and provide a basis for solving the safety problems of intelligent transportation.

A dual-polarized antenna array for 4G base stations is presented in this paper. The antenna array is a 2×4 uniform planar array and is composed of printed dual-polarized dipole antennas, operating in 1.7-2.2 GHz. By loading the metal plate and using antenna decoupling surface, the mutual coupling of the array is below -20dB.

Spoof surface plasmon polaritons (SSPPs) are developed in a rectangular waveguide (RWG) to realize a controllable band-pass propagation feature for millimeter-wave applications. The proposed SSPP structure consisting of a single row of corrugated metallic blocks, is embedded inside the closed structure of an RWG. The dispersion property of the RWG-based SSPP (RWG-SSPP) has tunable lower and upper cut-off frequencies, and a band-pass filter with flexible bandwidth has been designed using an RWG-SSPP structure. The proposed band-pass filter is based on an RWG-SSPP with an all-metal structure, which is of great potential for millimeter-wave applications due to small losses.

Perineural invasion (PNI), a pathologic feature defined as cancer cell invasion in, around, and through nerves, is an indicator of poor prognosis and survival in prostate cancer (PC). Despite widespread recognition of the clinical significance of PNI, the molecular mechanisms are largely unknown. Here, we report that monoamine oxidase A (MAOA) is a clinically and functionally important mediator of PNI in PC. MAOA promotes PNI of PC cells in vitro and tumor innervation in an orthotopic xenograft model. Mechanistically, MAOA activates SEMA3C in a Twist1-dependent transcriptional manner, which in turn stimulates cMET to facilitate PNI via autocrine or paracrine interaction with coactivated PlexinA2 and NRP1. Furthermore, MAOA inhibitor treatment effectively reduces PNI of PC cells in vitro and tumor-infiltrating nerve fiber density along with suppressed xenograft tumor growth and progression in mice. Collectively, these findings characterize the contribution of MAOA to the pathogenesis of PNI and provide a rationale for using MAOA inhibitors as a targeted treatment for PNI in PC.

In this paper, a new method to compare the effectiveness of a stirrer by calculating the number of characteristic modes of the stirrer is proposed. We find that, for Z-shaped stirrers, the more characteristic modes a stirrer has, the better it works in the reverberation chamber. The number of characteristic modes refer to the number of modes whose characteristic angels fall between 135 and 225 degree. The effectiveness of a stirrer is measured in terms of the field uniformity in the reverberation chamber. The field uniformity is defined as the standard deviation (STD)of the average power of the total electric fields at the eight vertices of the working volume. Three types of stirrers with the same rotational volume are used for verifications.

A planar switchable phased array has been proposed for 5G handset terminals at 28GHz. It consists of three subarrays. Each subarray contains eight radiating slots. The three subarrays share the same ground plane and can steer their beams to three distinct regions. By switching between the three subarrays, a three-dimensional (3-D) coverage of the terminal is obtained. However, the array suffers from relatively high mutual coupling. Hence, in this work, an effective decoupling technique is proposed to reduce the mutual coupling between adjacent elements of each subarray, while preserving the matching conditions and radiation characteristics of the original handset array. The isolation within each array is enhanced more than 5dB, achieving an isolation larger than 18dB at the center frequency, resulting in smaller active reflection and larger scanning angle.

A novel miniaturized dual-band dipole array antenna consisting of two parallel $1 \times 4$ subarrays for use in base stations operating in the digital cellular system (DCS) and wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) bands is presented. Size miniaturization is realized by utilizing band notch dipoles (BNDs) as array elements and artificial magnetic conductors as reflectors for reductions in width and profile height of the array antenna, respectively. Using the BNDs of high radiation suppression at desired notch frequencies, the radiation from DCS subarray is suppressed in the WCDMA band and vice versa. High isolation between the subarrays, therefore, is achieved while reducing the subarray separation. In addition, a dual four-way unequal power divider is designed for beam pattern synthesis. The measured results show that realized gains of 12.1–12.6 and 12.4–13.1 dBi, respectively, within the DCS and WCDMA bands, as well as the first null depth and sidelobe level, respectively, of lower than −20 and −16 dB, are achieved simultaneously, indicating that the proposed array antenna is suitable for potential base station applications.

A low-profile dual-polarized dipole antenna using wideband artificial magnetic conductor (AMC) reflector with stable radiation pattern for use in 2G/3G/4G base stations operating from 1.7 to 2.7 GHz is presented. The antenna consists of a pair of crossed-dipoles and a wideband AMC reflector which consists of an AMC surface, a metallic ground plane, and the air substrate between them. The AMC is designed to operate with 90° reflection-phase bandwidth of 1.64–2.88 GHz (54.8%). Compared with using perfect electric conductor reflector, the profile height of the dual-polarized dipole antenna using AMC reflector is reduced by half from 36 to 18 mm, resulting in the lowest-profile 2G/3G/4G base station antenna. Six metallic ground walls are used to stabilize the radiation pattern, and the resulted half-power beamwidths are around 68±3° and 81±3° in the H- and V-planes, respectively, across the operating band. More measured results show that wide impedance bandwidths of 1.67–2.98 and 1.64–3.05 GHz for the two input ports, isolation of more than 25 dB, and cross-polarization of less than −20 dB are achieved.

It is commonly believed that orthogonal polarisations lead to negligible correlation. In this Letter, it is shown that for the closely spaced patch antennas, orthogonal polarisations alone do not ensure uncorrelation. The surface waves must be suppressed (in combination with orthogonal polarisation) to achieve uncorrelated antennas. This is validated by different realisations of closely spaced patch antennas. The final design with reduced mutual coupling and correlation has been fabricated and measured. Good agreements between measured and simulated results are observed.

A square patch radiator supports both TM 01 and TM 10 modes with equal resonant frequencies. Feeding the patch in its diagonal can excite both modes with equal amplitudes and phases. By utilising this property, an effective technique is proposed to realise dual-band dual-polarised patch antenna. While the lower resonant frequency can be calculated using an existing analytical formula, an expression of the higher resonant frequency is still missing in the literature. To this end, an approximate expression of the higher resonant frequency is devised using the equivalent transmission line model in this work. It is a function of the distance between the shorting post and the feeding location. In order to validate the accuracy of the expression, three different antenna configurations are designed and manufactured. Good agreements between theoretical, simulated, and measured results are observed.

A parasitic surface (PS) based wide beam width patch antenna operating at 5 GHz is presented. The half-power beam widths (HPBWs) of the patch antenna are improved by the PS, which is composed of a parasitic ring and six parasitic patches. The parasitic ring is used to increase the HPBW in the E-plane, while the six parasitic patches are used to increase the HPBW in the H-plane. Simulation results show that the PS has little effect on the impedance bandwidth of the patch antenna but can increase the HPBW by 66.7° (from 85.1° to 151.8°) in the E-plane and 88.7° (from 78.9° to 167.6°) in the H-plane at 5 GHz. At the same time, the PS decreases the boresight gain of the patch antenna from 5.42 to 3.06 dBi. Measurement results agree well with the simulation.

A low-profile dual-polarized patch antenna with stable radiation pattern for use in base stations operating from 1.7 to 2.7 GHz is presented. The antenna consists of a square patch radiator placed at 20 mm ( $0.14\lambda _{0}$ at the center frequency of 2.2 GHz) above a square ground plane. For bandwidth enhancement, the square patch radiator is dual fed using four probes, each having a U-shape. Two wideband 180° baluns are designed using composite right/left handed transmission lines to generate two signals with same amplitude, but phase shift of 180° for the probes. The radiation pattern is stabilized using four slot groups on the ground plane and a metallic ground wall around the radiating patch. The antenna is studied and designed using computer simulation. Results show that the simulated half-power beamwidths have variations of only 4° and 5° in the elevation (EL) and azimuth (AZ) planes, respectively, across the operating band. Measured results show that the antenna has the impedance bandwidths of 1.68–2.83 GHz and 1.7–2.85 GHz for the two input ports, isolation of more than 38 dB, and cross-polarization of less than −20 dB at the boresight in both the EL and AZ planes. The measured boresight gains are 7.8 ± 0.6 dBi for both two ports, and the radiation efficiencies are 74%–84% and 73%–82% for ports 1 and 2, respectively.

Metastasis is a predominant cause of death for prostate cancer (PCa) patients; however, the underlying mechanisms are poorly understood. We report that monoamine oxidase A (MAOA) is a clinically and functionally important mediator of PCa bone and visceral metastases, activating paracrine Shh signaling in tumor-stromal interactions. MAOA provides tumor cell growth advantages in the bone microenvironment by stimulating interleukin-6 (IL6) release from osteoblasts, and triggers skeletal colonization by activating osteoclastogenesis through osteoblast production of RANKL and IL6. MAOA inhibitor treatment effectively reduces metastasis and prolongs mouse survival by disengaging the Shh-IL6-RANKL signaling network in stromal cells in the tumor microenvironment. These findings provide a rationale for targeting MAOA and its associated molecules to treat PCa metastasis.

The mutual coupling between antenna elements significantly deteriorates the performance of antenna arrays. Many decoupling techniques have been developed over the years. A key step of decoupling processing is to obtain the decoupling matrix (or mutual impedance matrix). However, the accurate decoupling matrix is unavailable in practice because mutual coupling depends not only on the geometry of the array, but also on the excitations of the elements. Unfortunately the decoupling errors can also lead to severe performance degradation of antenna arrays, especially for the adaptive beamformers. In this paper we propose a decoupling error reduction method based on the reduced- rank multistage Wiener filter (MWF). The reduced-rank MWF projects the weight vector of beamformer onto the Krylov subspace, which has a regularization effect that can reduce the performance degradation caused by random errors in the array. Besides having a simple implementation structure, the proposed method is computationally efficient. Moreover, simulation results show that the proposed method considerably improves the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) of the beamformer when there exist decoupling errors in the array.

This paper presents a radar cross-section (RCS) reduction technique by using the coding diffusion metasurface, which is optimised through a random optimization algorithm. The design consists of two unit cells, which are elements &lsquo, 1&rsquo, and &lsquo, 0&rsquo, The reflection phase between the two-unit cells has a 180&deg, &plusmn, 37&deg, phase difference. It has a working frequency band from 8.6 GHz to 22.5 GHz, with more than 9 dB RCS reduction. The monostatic RCS reduction has a wider bandwidth of coding diffusion metasurface as compared to the traditional chessboard metasurface. In addition, the bistatic performance of the designed metasurfaces is observed at 15.4 GHz, which shows obvious RCS reduction when compared to a metallic plate of the same size. The simulated and measured result shows the proficiency of the designed metasurface.
