Building zero-waste cities is an important initiative. It helps China to meet the challenges of climate change, build an ecological civilization, and build a beautiful and high-quality China. Through the recycling and safe disposal of waste, the ultimate goal of the construction of zero-waste cities is to minimize the amount of solid waste. Municipal Solid Waste Resource Symbiosis Network (MSWRSN) is the best way to achieve zero-waste cities. However, this system is vulnerable to many factors. These factors will restrict the construction and development of zero-waste cities. This study proposes a vulnerability measurement method of MSWRSN based on energy exchange. Panjin, a city in Liaoning Province, is used as an example to simulate it. The vulnerability measurement method of MSWRSN is composed of three parts. First, the study adopts a directional weighting approach to design the topologic structure of MSWRSN. Second, Dijkstra’s algorithm is used to analyze two topological parameters, node mesonumber and edge mesonumber. It also focuses on single-node failure mode and edge failure mode. Finally, the study uses a functional measure function to calculate the vulnerability of each node and each edge in symbiotic networks. The results of the study show that (1) MSWRSN in Panjin has not yet formed a nested pattern. The symbiotic patterns of different industrial chains are also different. (2) Node failure has a greater impact on MSWRSN. (3) There are differences in the vulnerability of the industry chain in the network. Based on the findings of the study, this study advises managing the vulnerability of MSWRSN from the following aspects. It includes increasing the diversity of symbiotic units, promoting the development of symbiotic networks to nested types, and strengthening risk monitoring and management of core enterprises.

The development of the construction industry generates construction waste which could contribute to environmental issues. Construction waste reduction management plays an important role in directly reducing emissions and solving the environmental pollution caused by construction waste. The limited rationality hypothesis and an evolutionary game model are used to construct a simulation model for the effects of environmental policies’ influences on the behavior of government and construction enterprises in construction waste reduction activities. Simulation results show that: (1) The government and enterprises evolve in the same direction under the sewage fees system or the subsidy system. The relationship between the initial ratio of the two sides and the position of the saddle point determines the evolution direction of the system. (2) The government could adjust the sewage fees rate, the penalty ratio, and the upper limit of construction waste emission to obtain a superior effect under the sewage fees system. As the subsidy system, the government could adjust the unit subsidy and the upper limit of construction waste emissions by enterprises. (3) The evolution times of the different systems are different. The time required to evolve to a stable state is shorter under the sewage fees system. Under the subsidy system, the time to evolve to a non-reduced state is longer, and the time to evolve to a reduced state is about the same as the time for the government to evolve to a checked state. The time required to evolve to the reduced state is about the same as the time required for the government to evolve to the checked state. This study develops an evolutionary game model between the government and construction enterprises in construction waste reduction activities. This study helps the government analyze the influence of various policies on enterprises’ reduction behaviors. The findings could help the government formulate appropriate policies to guide enterprises in waste reduction.

BACKGROUND: Heat shock protein A12B (HSPA12B) plays a considerable protective role for cells, tissues, and organs against various noxious conditions. However, the expression of HSPA12B in cancer biology remains controversial. This study aimed to investigate the expression of HSPA12B and its role in cell adhesion mediated drug resistance (CAM-DR) of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL). METHODS: In this study, the expression of HSPA12B in NHL was determined by immunohistochemical, and the effect of HSPA12B expression on the prognosis of NHL was analyzed by Kaplan–Meier curves. Then, the transfection technique was used to research the effect of HSPA12B in cell apoptosis. The most important was to study the expression changes of HSPA12B in the adhesion model and the effect of overexpression of HSPA12B on CAM-DR. RESULTS: We analyzed the relationship between the expression levels of HSPA12B and clinical parameters in NHL. The expression of HSPA12B was directly related to the different NHL variants. We overexpressed HSPA12B in 2 NHL cell lines and found a subsequent reduction in apoptosis. More specifically, we used an adhesion assay to demonstrate that HSPA12B expression was induced in NHL cells when they adhered to fibronectin (FN) or bone marrow stroma cells (BMSCs). Finally, it was revealed that HSPA12B overexpression enhances CAM-DR. CONCLUSIONS: Our data suggest that HSPA12B may play a functional role in CAM-DR and is thus a potential novel target for NHL treatment.

With the continuous advancement of urbanization in China, the area of forests, fields and lakes have been decreasing. Some cities face two problems which are waterlogging and water shortage. How to deal with water ecological problems? Experts and scholars have proposed to build “sponge city” and make full use of rivers, lakes, buildings, roads, green spaces to form a complete sponge which has good flexibility in responding to environmental changes and natural disasters. This paper analyzes the successful cases of sponge city construction in Potsdamer Platz in Berlin, Germany and Pingxiang City. It analyzes the necessity of building a sponge city in the northern region from alleviating water shortage, preventing flood disasters, strengthening water ecological civilization construction and improving urban drainage infrastructure. It also proposed "zoning management, system construction, policy support."

Using digital technology and artificial intelligence to improve the level of municipal solid waste management and to explore the new path orientation of urban management with Chinese characteristics is an important and key task of smart city construction. There are many similarities between Russia and China in urban construction, economic development and so on, so the experience of municipal solid waste management is of great significance to China’s urban construction. This paper analyzes the basic situation and reform process of Russian municipal solid waste, investigates the practice of Russian municipal solid waste management in the process of smart city construction, and sums up its successful experience on this basis, combined with the present situation of Shenyang, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the treatment of municipal solid waste under the background of the construction of smart city.

In order to study the impact of construction waste discharge and penalty changes on enterprises reduction behavior, construct and analyze the evolutionary game model of government and enterprises, find that the sum of the discharge rate and the proportion of the penalty is one of the main factors influencing the enterprises reduction behavior changes, and the impact of its change on enterprises reduction behavior is related to the inspecting cost. So the government adjusts the charge policy, also need to adjust the inspecting cost simultaneously, so can ensure that enterprises actively participate in the construction waste reduction activities.

Taking the Changbai Mountain Natural Resources Protection Area as the research object, combined with the ecological footprint theory, using the quantitative analysis method to calculate the ecological footprint of Changbai Mountain Natural Resources Protection Area, it is found that the Changbai Mountain Natural Resources Protection Area is in an ecological deficit state. The rational layout infrastructure, the optimization of scenic area management mode and the gradual realization of collaborative management optimization methods are proposed, which provide reference and reference for the follow-up development of Changbai Mountain Natural Resources Protection Area.

The rural dwelling house is not only an important component of housing construction in China, but also significant of promotion of the construction socialism new countryside. With the rapid development of urbanization of rural China, the level of urbanization in China will be close to 60% excepted by 2020, which undoubtedly bring to the rural building industry an unprecedented opportunity for development. The main problem which rural building materials faced is lack of the product performance certification. According to characteristic of customers and tendency of building material industry, the rural building materials should possess the harmonization, except basic quality performance. This paper analyzed the factors which influence on the environmental harmonization and established a fuzzing evaluation model, based on life cycle assessment. Through validation of environmental harmonization of ceramic, fuzzing evaluation method was effective and feasible to assess the rural building material environment harmonization.
