Introduction/purpose: The digitization of healthcare has gained particular importance in the years since the emergence of COVID-19 and also has become one of the primary goals of the Government of the Republic of Serbia. Telemedicine is a good solution when the patient cannot come to a healthcare facility. Mobile healthcare applications are already widely used, but in both fields the important challenge is data security. The aim of this paper is to review solutions for data security in mobile healthcare from the technical side and possible challenges in the process of digitization of the healthcare system in Serbia. Methods: This review is based on current papers in this area, on the available relevant literature and the authors' many years of experience in this field. Experiences in the process of digitization of healthcare in Serbia are based on available articles and regulations. Finally, possible challenges are presented from the authors' perspective based on everything presented in the field of data security in mobile healthcare. Results: The analysis of the papers reviewed from the point of view of data security showed that users are often ready to sacrifice their privacy for the sake of convenience provided by mobile applications. Conclusion: Based on the review of the papers and clear data security requirements that include the presented safeguards, one of the main tasks of the entire community is to raise awareness of information security and awareness of the need for cyber hygiene of each individual, which is the basis for the safe use of e-health services.

Предмет истраживања у овом раду јесте ткачка лексика села Трњана надомак Алексинца. Грађа за рад прикупљана је од најстаријих информатора методом слободног дијалекатског интервјуа. Сходно томе што је ткање делатност коју обављају жене, или, боље речено, коју су обављале жене, информатори су биле баке. Испитивањем различитих информатора прикупљено је 118 различитих лексема, како једночланих тако и вишечланих. Рад настаје из потребе да се једна делатност сачува од заборава у покушају очувања традиције коју су наши преци неговали. Циљ истраживања јесте прикупљање комплетног лексичког израза ткачке делатности у наведеном ареалу. Прикупљена грађа je лексичко-семантички обрађена, а од ње је на крају рада дат речник свих лексема, које су притом и акцентоване онако како је слухом регистровано.

Solving a linear system of n × n equations can be very difficult for the computer, especially if one needs the exact solution, even when the number n - of equations and of unknown variables is relatively small (a few thousands). All existing methods have to overcome at least one of the following problems: 1. Computational complexity, which is expressed with the number of arithmetic operations required in order to determine a solution; 2. The possibility of overflow and underflow problems; 3. Causing variations in the values of some coefficients in the initial system, which may be leading to instability of the solution; 4. Requiring additional conditions for convergence; 5. In cases of a large number of equations and unknown variables it is often required that the systems matrix be: either sparse, or symmetrical, or diagonal, etc. This paper presents a method for solving a system of linear equations of arbitrary order (any number of equations and unknown variables) to which the problems listed above do not reflect. / Решение систем линейных уравнений n × n может представлять проблему для компьютера, особенно в тех случаях, когда требуется точное решение, и даже в тех случаях, когда количество уравнений и неизвестных относительно невелико (всего несколько тысяч). Все существующие методы сталкиваются с наименее одной из следующего ряда проблем: 1. сложность вычисления, выраженная количеством соответствующих операций, которые необходимо произвести для получения решения; 2. потенциальная возможность неограниченного роста значений результатов, что приводит к проблемам: overflow и underflow; 3. изменение значений некоторых коэффициентов в исходной системе, что приводит к неустойчивости решения; 4. дополнительные требования вследствие конвергенции; 5. в случаях большого количества уравнений и неизвестных необходимо, чтобы матрица системы была или не слишком наполнена, или была симметричной, либо диагональной, и т.д. В данной работе представлены методы решения системы линейных уравнений с произвольным количеством уравнений и неизвестных, на которых не отражаются перечисленные проблемы. / Rešavanje linearnog sistema jednačina n × n može biti problem i za računar, pogotovo ako je potrebno tačno rešenje, čak i kada je broj jednačina i nepoznat i relativno mali (par hiljada). Sve postojeće metode su opterećene bar jednim od sledećih problema: 1. složenošću računanja izraženim kroz broj potrebnih operacija koje je potrebno izvršiti kako bi se došlo do rešenja; 2. potencijalnom mogućnošću neograničenog rasta veličina među rezultata, što uzrokuje probleme prekoračenja opsega (overflow) i nedovoljne osetljivosti odnosno preciznosti (underflow); 3. promenom vrednosti nekih koeficijenata u polaznom sistemu, što uzrokuje nestabilnost rešenja; 4. dodatnim zahtevima, zbog konvergencije; 5. slučajevima velikog broja jednačina i nepoznatih koji zahtevaju da matrica sistema bude: ili slabo popunjena, ili simetrična, ili dijagonalna, itd. U ovom radu prezentuje se metoda za rešavanje sistema linearnih jednačina sa proizvoljnim brojem jednačina i nepoznatih na koju se navedeni problemi ne reflektuju.

Kriptografija je danas, kao i u prošlosti, veoma aktuelna. Neprekidno postoji potreba da se zaštite podaci i resursi od neovlašćenog upada i korišćenja. Rezultat toga je nastajanje sve jačih zaštita i probijanje većine onih za koje se do nedavno mislilo da su neprobojne. U ovom radu analiziraju se osnovni problemi i njihove implementacije u okviru razbijanja translatornog šifrata koristeći programski jezik C.

The paper analyzes the flow of some multimedia services, and points to the possibility of applying some of the services in the broadband environment to improve the logistic needs of the army. The need to convey information in different forms (from text, data, graphics, still pictures to video motion pictures) is increasing continually. Requests for information transfer in high resolution require increasing the flow to several dozens of Mb/s. Broadband represents the platform for a wide range of multimedia services. Each multimedia service requires a certain flow which can be partially decreased with advanced coding techniques.

To compare the effects of organic selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs, Se 0 ) and inorganic sodium selenite (NaSe, Na 2 SeO 3 , Se 4+ ) on the antioxidant response in maternal and fetal rat liver, pregnant females were treated with two forms of selenium (Se) at equivalent doses during gestation (0.5 mg SeNPs or 0.5 mg NaSe/kg body weight/day). Structural parameters of the liver of gravid females and their fetuses were examined in a sex-specific manner. The oxidative stress parameters superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px), glutathione reductase (GR), glutathione S-transferase (GST), total glutathione (GSH) and sulfhydryl groups (SH) were established. In addition, the Se concentration was determined in the blood, liver, urine and feces of the gravid females and in the liver of the fetuses. The structure of the liver of gravid females remained histologically the same after supplementation with both forms of Se, while the oxidative stress in the liver was significantly lower after the use of SeNPs compared to NaSe. Immaturity of fetal antioxidant defenses and sex specificity were demonstrated. This study provides a detailed insight into the differences in the bioavailability of the nano form of Se compared to sodium selenite in the livers of pregnant females and fetuses.

Background and Objectives : Mutations in succinate dehydrogenase (SDH) and fumarate hydratase (FH) give rise to various familial cancer syndromes, with these alterations being characteristic of certain types of histomorphologically specific leiomyomas that hold significant predictive value. Materials and Methods : This study presents two cases of uterine leiomyomas exhibiting rare histomorphological and genetic characteristics, which are crucial for prognosis and further treatment. Results : Distinct histopathological features such as marked nuclear atypia, intracellular eosinophilic globules, and abnormal intratumoral vessels raise suspicion for specific leiomyoma subtypes, which carry predictive significance for additional hereditary cancer syndromes. Immunohistochemical analysis confirmed FH/SDH deficiency in both patients, who underwent careful follow-up. Conclusions : This study describes two cases involving unusual leiomyomas, the histopathological characteristics of which may easily go unrecognized. These features hold predictive significance because their specific mutations point to additional hereditary cancer syndromes, highlighting the need for further examinations.

We evaluated factors influencing long-term health-related quality of life (HRQoL) after excisional treatments of low- and high grade squamous intraepithelial cervical lesions (SIL) in three groups of women ( n  = 160): nulliparas interested in reproduction (A), parous women interested in reproduction (B) and women without pregnancy desire (C). The HRQoL was assessed using the disease-specific FACIT-CD and the generic SF36v2 questionnaires. Anxiety and depression were evaluated by Beck's inventories. After median follow-up of 5 (2-18) years, FACIT-CD total score and the score for Emotional Well-Being (EWB) were significantly lower in group A. The total, EWB and REL (Relationships) scores of FACIT-CD were the highest in group B. Women operated for HSIL demonstrated lower REL quality in comparison to those with LSIL. Neither SF36v2 nor FACIT-CD total scores differed in relation to SIL grade or type of excision. 'SF36v2 Mental Component Summary Score' and 'being parous and interested in fertility' were independent predictors of disease-specific FACIT-CD score.Impact Statement What is already known on this subject? Long-term consequences of excisional treatments for cervical dysplasia on health-related quality of life (HRQoL) are not well reported. What do the results of this study add? Our study provides data on HRQoL in women treated with large loop excision of the transformation zone (LLETZ) or cold knife conization (CKC) obtained during the longest (median 5 years) follow-up as reported to date. We were able to show that having children and planning further pregnancies positively influenced HRQoL in these patients. In addition, we identified nulliparas with pregnancy desire as psychologically the most vulnerable group within the studied cohort. What are the implications of these findings for clinical practice and/or further research? Even several years after LLETZ or CKC, women may suffer from impaired Emotional Well-Being and reduced HRQoL. Awareness and assessment of these long-term consequences should be part of surveillance after excisional treatments for cervical dysplasia.

Objective: To describe the characteristics and peripartum outcomes of patients diagnosed with uterine rupture (UR) by an observational cohort retrospective study on 270 patients., Methods: Demographic information, surgical history, symptoms, and postoperative outcome of women and neonates after UR were collected in a large database. The statistical analysis searched for correlation between UR, previous uterine interventions, fibroids, and the successive perinatal outcomes in women with previous UR., Results: Uterine rupture was significantly associated with previous uterine surgery, occurring, on average, at 36 weeks of pregnancy in women also without previous uterine surgery. UR did not rise exponentially with an increasing number of uterine operations. Fibroids were related to UR. The earliest UR occurred at 159 days after hysteroscopic myomectomy, followed by laparoscopic myomectomy (251 days) and laparotomic myomectomy (253 days). Fertility preservation was feasible in several women. Gestational age and birth weight seemed not to be affected in the subsequent pregnancy., Conclusion: Data analysis showed that previous laparoscopic and abdominal myomectomies were associated with UR in pregnancy, and hysteroscopic myomectomy was associated at earlier gestational ages. UR did not increase exponentially with an increasing number of previous scars. Purpose: To investigate the long-term psychosexual outcomes in women following excisional cervical treatment. Materials and methods: Women with cold-knife conization (CKC) or large loop excision of the transformation zone (LLETZ) treatment were interviewed after a follow-up colposcopy visit. Their demographics, treatment and psychosexual characteristics were recorded. Results: One hundred and forty six women with a mean age of 35.2 ± 5.4 years underwent either LLETZ (68.5%) or CKC (31.5%) treatment within 4.7 ± 2.7 years (range: 2-15) before the interview. 27.4% of women were less interested in sexual intercourse following treatment in comparison with their interest before. Those women with less interest in sexual intercourse after treatment had higher anxiety and depression scores and were more worried about disease progression. Women with post-treatment complications were at risk of less interest in sexual intercourse and of greater anxiety and depression. Women with abnormal smears at follow-up were at risk of greater anxiety. The type of treatment and grade of dysplasia did not affect their interest in sexual intercourse or the anxiety and depression scores. Conclusions: Approximately, one-third of women at more than two years post-treatment may suffer from less interest in sexual intercourse, have relatively greater anxiety and depression, and might still be concerned about the possibility of disease progression.

Animal models demonstrating skeletal muscle (SM) disorders are rarely investigated, although these disorders accompany liver disorders and can occur during prolonged exercise/training. In cases of SM disorders exogenous antioxidants, such as melatonin, could help by generally improving tissues antioxidant capacities. We aimed to analyze the potential of melatonin in preventing biochemical and structural changes in rat biceps muscle (BM) occurring after an acute exposure to carbon tetrachloride (CCl 4 ). Biceps muscles obtained from male Wistar rats belonging to different experimental groups were biochemically (determination of tissue MDA, total antioxidant capacity, GSH, CAT, SOD and GPx activities) and pathologically analyzed. Also, serum levels of potassium, LHD and CK were analyzed in all experimental animals. The obtained results were statically compared with those from vehicle-treated control group. The applied melatonin prevented potassium and intracellular enzyme leakage (CK and LDH) that was induced by CCl 4 , as well as an increase in tissue MDA. From a panel of determined oxidative stress parameters melatonin was able to statistically significantly prevent changes in total antioxidative capacity and in CAT, SOD and GPx activities induced by CCl 4 . Microscopic analysis of BM from the animals exposed to CCl 4 revealed significant muscle fiber disorganization and massive inflammatory cell infiltration. All these changes were significantly ameliorated in the group that received melatonin prior to CCl 4 . Changes in serum and tissue biochemical parameters accompanied the observed pathological changes, which demonstrated a significant influence of melatonin in preventing skeletal muscle damage induced by CCl 4 .

Objectives: The FACIT-CD (Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy - Cervical Dysplasia) questionnaire is a disease-specific instrument for assessing the health-related quality of life (HRQoL) in women with cervical dysplasia. Our aim was to perform a cross-cultural adaptation and psychometric evaluation of the FACIT-CD scale in Serbian women with cervical squamous intraepithelial lesions (SIL)., Study Design: Our study included women of reproductive age diagnosed with SIL in a single university-affiliated hospital. A total of 160 participants with histologically confirmed low-grade (LSIL) or high-grade (HSIL) squamous intraepithelial lesions responded to the Serbian version of the FACIT-CD instrument, the Short Form-36v2 questionnaire (SF-36v2), the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), and the Beck Depression Inventory (BDI). Women also participated in an interview regarding their socio-demographic data. We evaluated the validity and reliability of the Serbian version of FACIT-CD., Results: The Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.710 for the entire sample (0.702 for LSIL and 0.711 for HSIL). We found numerous correlations between the FACIT-CD scores and SF-36v2 scores, as well as between the BAI and BDI scores for both the total score and most of the domain scores. The mean FACIT-CD total score was high (114.47 ± 13.25 out of 136.00 which is the maximum score). There were no significant differences in the mean scores between the LSIL and HSIL groups., Conclusions: Our study demonstrated that the Serbian FACIT-CD has overall good psychometric properties in women with both LSIL and HSIL. We propose the use of the FACIT-CD questionnaire as an indicator for HRQoL in women with cervical dysplasia., (Copyright © 2018 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.)

Introduction: There is insufficient reporting on the level of colposcopic training for the safe use of large loop excision of the transformation zone. The aim of this study was to perform a quality assessment of large loop excision of the transformation zone in women of reproductive age by evaluating the surgeons' colposcopic experience. Materials and Methods: A retrospective cohort study was performed on diagnostic or therapeutic large loop excision of the transformation zone. The following variables were analyzed: age, parity, indications for surgery, level of surgeon's colposcopic experience, definitive histological diagnosis, margin involvement, and the presence and type of artifacts interfering with the pathological interpretation. Patients were divided into three groups: group A - 75 patients treated by junior colposcopists; group B - 74 patients treated by experienced colposcopists, and group C - 117 patients treated by expert colposcopists. Results: Regarding the presence and diagnostic significance of the artifacts the groups were significantly different. Inadequate samples were the least frequent in group C. Artifacts precluding histological diagnosis were the most common in group A. The margins were predominantly inconclusive in group A. Conclusions: A high rate of artifacts is a disadvantage of the large loop excision of the transformation zone performed by surgeons less skilled for colposcopy. Although large loop excision of the transformation zone is considered to be a minor surgery, skills in colposcopy are an essential prerequisite for optimal results.

Background/aim: Introduction of acetylcholine esterase inhibitors as a symptomatic treatment of Alzheimer's disease (AD) has additionally highlighted the importance of diagnostic markers in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) for early AD diagnosis: low level of 42 amino acid form of amyloid-beta peptide (Abeta42), and levels of tau protein (T-tau) and phosphorylated tau protein (P-tau). The aim of this study was to diagnostic potential of CSF biomarkers T-tau, P-tau and Abeta42 as biochemical markers for AD., Methods: Lumbar puncture was performed in 63 patients with AD and 26 control subjects who passed orthopedic surgery. The Innotest, ELISA sandwich test (Innogenetics - Belgium) was used for measuring the levels of T-tau, P-tau and Abeta342., Results: The patients and the control group did not differ in age, education and sex. Mean levels of CSF T-tau and P-tau were significantly higher in the patients with AD (p < 0.001) compared to the control group, in contrast to significantely lower CSF Abeta42 in AD group (p < 0.001). A significant progressive decrease of Abeta42, as well as significant progressive increase of T-tau and P-tau was found among AD subgroups (according to MMSE staging) and controls., Conclusion: The obtained results suggest that these biomarkers may be supportive in the diagnosis of AD, especially in the early course of the disease and could be used in the routine clinical practice considering the approaching target therapeutics.
