The article focuses on formulas for calculating the addition of sound levels when the disturbances of the acoustic pressures that determine them are correlated. Based on the numerical experiments, determine the level of possible errors for different coherence conditions of two noise sources. The performed analyses are associated with the classical calculus of algebra of decibel numbers, as well as its modifications securing the required correctness of its axiomatic. Presents the desirability of its use in the problems of developing measurement data of small values of sound levels. This study focuses on freedom of expression among university radio stations in Turkey. Our aim is to reveal the obstacles university radio stations face in speaking freely and to propose a solution to them. We take our conceptual framework from the Habermasian public sphere and focus on the practice of speaking on the radio. Using a qualitative analysis method, we conducted in-depth interviews with the managers of 34 university radio stations in 21 different cities in Turkey. The nonprofit radio sector in Canada includes over 180 community and Indigenous stations. Studies of nonprofit radio programming note the diversity of on-air content from news to music, which is in line with the sector's mandate. However, does the assortment of content translate into a diversity of individuals behind the microphone? And who is making decisions in station management and governance?. To better understand the equity practices found within nonprofit radio, this article highlights the results of an online survey to quantify the diversity found among the board members, volunteers, and employees who operate these stations. We present a new recommender system developed for the Russian interactive radio network FMhost . To the best of our knowledge, it is the first model and associated case study for recommending radio stations hosted by real DJs rather than automatically built streamed playlists. To address such problems as cold start, gray sheep, boosting of rankings, preference and repertoire dynamics, and absence of explicit feedback, the underlying model combines a collaborative user-based approach with personalized information from tags of listened tracks in order to match user and radio station profiles. This is made possible with adaptive tag-aware profiling that follows an online learning strategy based on user history. We compare the proposed algorithms with singular value decomposition (SVD) in terms of precision, recall, and normalized discounted cumulative gain (NDCG) measures; experiments show that in our case the fusion-based approach demonstrates the best results. Investigation into the impact of the stages of a radio call on host-caller interaction has traditionally been conducted in single host scenarios, whereby one host interacts with one caller. Further, this analysis has often been done in the context of talk radio that is designed to promote a sense of conflict in order to entertain its audience. However, what of dual or multi-host scenarios, where a number of hosts are co-participants when interacting with callers? This article considers a talkback segment within a chat-based program in which two studio-based hosts are involved in conversation with callers. It considers previous research into call sequence as applied to this scenario and reveals that rather than working to challenge the caller, the hosts work together to enable the callers to challenge the hosts but in a way that orients to sociability rather than conflict. This article proposes to analyse the genesis of the Portuguese local radio between 1977 and 1988, period in witch they broadcast without permission. We analyse, according to a historical perspective, the different dimensions of the Portuguese local radio such as the legal efforts toward the legalization, their property, the programming and news.
