The current research analysed the role of Indonesian Council of Ulama in halāl certification after the enactment of Law No. 33 of 2014. The Indonesian Council of Ulama is Indonesia’s peak clerical body with the authority to specify halāl and Harām fatwas of a product. It plays a crucial role in helping the government to assure halāl certification of the product before it is consumed. According to publicly available data, there are 85 percent of food, beverages, and cosmetic products with unidentified halāl certification circulating in Indonesia. Moreover, there are foods and beverages that put halāl label illegally without any halāl testing on the products. This issue may cause concern for Indonesian people, as majority of them are Muslims. The current study applied library research method to retrieve secondary data on halāl certification of food and beverages, which was in accordance with the Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halāl Product Guarantee. The study determined that the involvement of the Indonesian Council of Ulama to establish legal certainty for halāl and Harām food and beverage products after the enactment of Law No. 33 of 2014 for Guaranteed Halāl Products (JPH) was critical. Even though, the halāl certification procedure is handled by BPJPH, the Indonesian Council of Ulama has a role to play in halāl certification by issuing a halāl fatwa for a product. It also helps to accredit Halāl Inspection Agency and certifying halāl auditors.

The research of the integration of Environmental Education in science subject matter by application of "MOTORIC" Learning models has carried out on Junior High School Kupang Nusa Tenggara Timur Indonesia. "MOTORIC" learning model is an Environmental Education (EE) learning model that collaborate three learning approach i.e. character approach, contextual and multimedia approaches. "MOTORIC" consists of seven components which constitute the acronym namely: Motivation, Observation, Talking, Orientation, Reinforcement, Implementation and Confirmation. The purpose of this research is to improve the junior high school students' knowledge about the environment. Furthermore, the study was carried out in February-May 2014, with a sample of class VII students of junior high school in Kupang Indonesia. Environmental education materials are integrated in this study include energy, living system, pollution, waste management and conservation. Data was measured by using multiple choice test of environmental knowledge. The data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. The results showed at 95% confidence level (a = 0.05), the integration of Environmental Education materials in science subject matter of junior high school through application of "MOTORIC" learning models effectively improve students' knowledge of the environment by 64.15% in large groups of students meanwhile 68.07% in small group of students.

Bundengan is one of the traditional musical instruments in Indonesia that originates and developes in Wonosobo Regency, Central Java. The bundengan music group Akustika provides arrangements for bundengan music. This research aims to determine and provide a description of the form of bundengan music arrangement by the bundengan music group Akustika. The method used in this research was qualitative with a musicological approach. Data collection wascarried out through observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. Data analysis wasconducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the musical arrangement of Bundengan in Sanggar Akustika, Wonosobo Regency, combines traditional Bundengan musical instruments with instruments such as cak, guitar, keyboard, violin, bass, and drums. The performed music genres include modern pop, campursari, dangdut, nostalgic songs, and regional songs in Indonesia. The basic tones used are C major and G major, with mixed arrangement styles. During the performance, each musical instrument utilizes a limited repetitive playing pattern until the completion of the song. All the instruments in the Bundengan music complement each other and form dynamic and harmonious musical patterns. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

This investigation aims to establish a construction cost estimation model for building projects. Due to various factors, the cost estimation for the building’s construction cannot be enhanced. The cost estimation in the Indonesian construction industry is unreliable for completing projects at contract costs. Less emphasis on the variable factor decreases the accuracy of the estimated cost. This study gathered construction sector management data to contribute empirical evidence to the literature. According to this study, cost estimators can considerably enhance cost estimation in the Indonesian construction industry, estimating methodology, project information, current data, and historical data. Since the explored factors for estimating building construction costs were not considered in previous studies, the model devised by this research is a significant contribution. The practical implications of this research are reliable for cost estimation in the building and other sectors to increase the accuracy of the estimated cost about the actual project cost. This research also provides prospective directions for incorporating new knowledge into the cost estimation model by determining the impact of other significant factors. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
