- Abstract
The authors of this article look at how the world and our economies have fared in real terms, and how economics as a scientific discipline has managed to fulfil its mission over the past, extremely hectic decades. The financial and economic crisis, brought both several consequences for the real economy and shook the very paradigms of economics. Fiscal solutions to the crisis and its aftermath have significantly strengthened the role of politicians in managing economic affairs. As a result, regulation has been implemented across all segments of the financial markets, including the insurance industry, which did not contribute to the crisis. The authors blame the high inflation on low interest rates set by central bankers in 2008, long-term money printing, government borrowing around the world, Europe's green policies and, second only on pandemics and geopolitical tensions culminating in war. They warn against further debt, which could lead to inflation destroying the economy. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

ECONOMICS ,SOCIETAL reaction - Abstract
In the globalised world of the past decade, the characteristic movement of the real economy in Europe has been in the lower amplitudes of the economic cycle and has been complicated by the low effectiveness of fiscal and monetary policy tools and instability on the financial markets, which, in relation to the real economy, display features of autonomy and virtuality. The exchange rates of the euro, rouble and Czech crown display exceptional volatility, while the yields from financial instruments are at a historic minimum. These phenomena are the result of the stagnation of the European economy, a high level of indebtedness and an inability to effectively solve escalating political problems, such as military conflicts, terrorism, mass migration, economic sanctions, etc. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

- Abstract
The paper deals with yield curve construction methods using coupon bonds in Czech bond market. Generally, there are more possibilities how to approach this problem: bootstraping, splines, parametric functions. Due to the lack of tradable public bonds and due to the fact that existing bonds do not pay coupons at the same date of the year, traditional bootstraping method could not be applied under Czech market conditions. It seemed appropriate to use parametrical solutions to the yield curve issue and minimise the sum of squares of differences between market and theoretical prices. There were presented three function types which arrived to similar results in the paper. The authors also used Svensson parametric function to demonstrate the possible use of parametric yield curve construction. It was shown that, after duration adjustment, it can indicate shift in market expectations regarding future short term interest rate moves, and thus regarding future monetary policy, pretty well. The importance of consumer and mortgage loans is increasing every day. If we were not born under the lucky star, the only way how to get property ownership or other financially expensive things is to take a mortgage and a consumer loan. Times when young people were entitled to get apartments from the city, the village or the employer have gone. Loans are generally in the interest of economists, lenders and the general public, who can use them to buy a house, flat, car, etc. Especially today, when interest rates reach the historical bottom, many people get a loan. In time, however, they find out that costs are not just a repayment of the loan but also other expenses associated with the use of the purchased item. They start wondering how they could reduce the installment after the end of the interest rate and thus save some money a month. Here comes a very popular product like credit refinancing in another bank. Banks attract potential clients for very good annual savings, you just need to transfer the entire loan to them. My work includes the factors influencing mortgage and consumer credit, which is also related to refinancing. I deal with real model examples through the precise approach of three selected bank institutions in refinancing mortgage and consumer credit. The thesis describes in detail the procedure of institutions, interest rates and their conditions for transferring credit.

We set the probability of saving in a private pension scheme as a dependent variable and independent variables according to the studied literature. The last part of this master thesis also provides the summary of our conclusions about the importance of financial literacy within the decisions about saving for retirement and also the opinion that the lack of financial literacy was one of the main causes for unsuccessful pension reform in the Czech Republic where the second pillar was cancelled recently.
