In this work, two originally separate adjustments for the Friedmann equations are concurrently considered. Firstly, the fractal structure of the black hole horizon region is imposed by the Barrow entropy. The second adjustment is the $f(\mathcal{T})$ gravity, which is based on a teleparallel framework generalization of the Einstein-Hilbert action, where $\mathcal{T}$ is the scalar torsion. This can be considered as a Barrow entropy modification of the $f(\mathcal{T})$ gravity thus yielding a new model. Gravity thermodynamics hypothesis principles are used to integrate these two models under a unified framework. We derive the modified Friedmann equation and note the corrections obtained. To understand the implications of such dual modifications, an application is analyzed and a particular $f(\mathcal{T})$ toy model is chosen for the purpose. The equation of the state parameter of the resulting model, the dimensionless density parameters of matter and dark energy, and the deceleration parameter are explored to check the viability of the new model. A discussion of the dynamic evolution of the universe follows from these results. It is seen that the results comply with the observations. We analyze traversable wormholes defined by the dynamic line elements that asymptotically approaches Friedmann-Robertson-Walker (FRW) universe. This dynamical wormholes is supported by the galactic dark matter as well as perfect isotropic fluid. We will discuss several evolving Lorentzian wormholes comprising with different perfect isotropic fluids in addition to various scale factors. In this article, we apply the Finsler spacetime to develop the Einstein field equations in the extension of modified geometry. Following Finsler geometry, which is focused on the tangent bundle with a scalar function, a scalar equation should be the field equation that defines this structure. This spacetime maintains the required causality properties on the generalized Lorentzian metric manifold. The matter field is coupled with the Finsler geometry to produce the complete action. In this work, we use modified gravity to develop the Einstein field equations from the variational principle. Developed Einstein field equations are employed on the strange stellar system to improve the study. The interior of the system is made of a strange quark, maintained by the MIT Bag equation of state. In addition, the modified Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkov (TOV) equation is formulated. In particular, the anisotropic stress attains the maximum at the surface. We present an exhaustive study of wormhole configurations in $\kappa(\mathcal{R},\mathcal{T})$ gravity with linear and non-linear functions. The model assumed Morrison-Thorne spacetime where the redshift and shape functions linked with the matter contain and geometry of the spacetime through non-covariant conservation equation of the stress-energy tensor. The first solution was explored assuming a constant redshift function that leads to a wormhole (WH) which is asymptotically non-flat. The remaining solutions were explored in two cases. Firstly, assuming a linear equation of state $p(r)=\omega \rho(r)$ along with different forms of $\kappa(\mathcal{R},\mathcal{T})-$function. This proved enough to derive a shape function of the form $b(r)=r_{0}\left(\frac{r_{0}}{r}\right)^{1/\omega}$. Secondly, by assuming specific choices of the shape function consistent with the wormhole configuration requirements. All the solutions fulfill flare-out condition, asymptotically flat and supported by phantom energy. Further, the embedding surface and its revolution has been generated using numerical method to see how the length of the throat is affected of the coupling parameters through $\kappa(\mathcal{R},\mathcal{T})$ function. In this paper, we explore a reconstruction scheme in the background of the $f(T,\mathcal{T})$ gravity theory for different cosmological scenarios, where $T$ is the scalar torsion and $\mathcal{T}$ is the trace of the energy-momentum tensor. Using the reconstruction technique $f(T, \mathcal{T})$ Lagrangian is constructed for different cosmological eras such as dust, $\Lambda CDM$, perfect fluid, etc. Both minimal and non-minimal matter-coupled models are considered for this purpose. Different cosmological scenarios such as power law expansion, de-Sitter expansion, etc. have been considered, and using them Lagrangian functionals are constructed. Mathematical viabilities of all the constructed functionals have been investigated. The physical implications of the obtained solutions are discussed in detail. To check the cosmological compatibility of the constructed $f(T,\mathcal{T})$ functionals we have generated plots of important parameters like the equation of state parameter and deceleration parameter. In this article, we are reporting for the first time the existence of gravastar configurations in the framework of K(R,T)-gravity, which can be treated as an alternative to a black hole (Mazur and Mottola). This strengthens how much this new gravity theory may be physically demanding to the gravity community in the near future. We first develop the gravastar field equations for a generic K(R,T) functional and then we study four different models within this theory. We find that the solutions for the interior region are regular everywhere regardless of the exact form of the K(R,T) functional. The solutions for the shell region indicate that two of the four models subjected to the study are physically feasible. In addition, the junction conditions are considered at each interface by using the Lanczos equations that yield the surface density and pressure at the thin shell. We investigate various characteristics of the gravastar structure such as the proper length, energy, and entropy of the spherical distribution.

We present the first interior solutions representing compact stars in $\kappa(\mathcal{R},\mathcal{T})$ gravity, by solving the modified field equations in isotropic coordinates. Further, we have assumed the metric potentials in Schwarzschild's form and a few parameters along with the isotropic condition of pressure. For solving, we use specific choice of the running gravitational constant as $\kappa(\mathcal{R},\mathcal{T})=8\pi-\lambda \mathcal{T} ~~(G=\tilde{c}=1)$. Once arrived at the reduced field equations, we investigate two solutions with $c=1$ and $c \neq 1$, where $c$ denotes here another constant that should not be confused with the speed of light. Then, we investigate each solution by determining the thermodynamics variable {\it viz} pressure, density, speed of sound, and adiabatic index. We found that these solutions satisfy the Bondi criterion, causality condition, and energy conditions. We also found that the $M-R$ curves generated from these solutions satisfy the stringent constraints provided by the gravitational wave observations due to the neutron star merger GW 170817., Comment: 15 pages, 9 figures

In this paper, we investigate the connection between the M-projective curvature tensor and other tensors. Also, we obtain the divergence of M-projective curvature tensor. A symmetry of spacetime known as M-projective collineation has been presented, and it has been possible to determine the conditions under which the general relativity spacetimes can admit such collineations.

The wormhole solution could be found by solving the Einstein field equations with violating the null energy condition (NEC). We represent wormhole solutions in $\kappa(R,T)$ gravity in two different ways. At first, we find the shape function by considering a redshift function and linear equation of state (EoS). The solution represents a wormhole for the real feasible matter. In the second part, we consider four pairs of two redshift functions and two shape functions and analyze the obtained solutions. In this paper, we compute quasi-normal modes of ABG black holes (which has a non-linear electrodynamical source) using the WKB methods and AIM. A comparison between the spectrum of QNMs calculated by both methods is made. We analyse how the spectrum of QNMs depends on the black hole parameters, multipole number and overtone number and establish that the ABG black hole is stable against the scalar field.

We construct an exact anisotropic star model with a linear barotropic equation of state and with Finch-Skea potential within the framework of pure Lovelock gravity. A comparison with the corresponding Einstein model in a suitable limit is easily deduced. Evidently higher curvature effects induced by the Lovelock contributions generate lower densities, pressures, surface tensions and anisotropy factors when compared to its Einstein counterpart. The maximum moment of inertia is attained for the Einstein case and hence it may be inferred that Lovelock effects soften the equation of state. The density perturbation of the universe has been considered in the framework of a Finslerian cosmological model in which the background spacetime of the universe is taken as the spatially flat FLRW spacetime with a Finslerian perturbation. The inhomogeneity in the matter(energy) density arises naturally in this consideration of gravity in the $( \alpha, \beta)$ - Finsler space for the background spacetime of the universe. The resulting inhomogeneous matter density indicates matter perturbation departing from the uniform density, and it is caused by the Finslerian perturbation in the Riemannian spacetime, thus ascertaining the geometrical origin of the growth of matter perturbation., Comment: 5 pages. 1 figure

Employing Newton's stellar balance equation and using the flat rotation velocity of satellite galaxies, we have found the velocity of sound in the dark matter medium. What is interesting is that the velocity of satellite galaxies is very much larger than the velocity of sound in the dark matter medium. In this paper, we aim to investigate various physical properties and characteristics of radiation emerging from the surface of accretion disks, in a rotating traversable axially symmetric wormhole spacetime of the Teo class. We have studied the marginally stable orbits and accretion efficiency graphically, corresponding to different values of dimensionless spin parameter $J/M^2$ ranging from 0.2 to 1.5 and some values of the throat radius $r_0$, in comparison to the Kerr black hole with the same parameter values, and also tabulated the results. The energy flux radiated by the accretion disk $F(r)$, the temperature distribution $T(r)$ and the emission spectra $\nu L(\nu)$ is plotted, corresponding to varying values of the dimensionless spin parameter $J/M^2$ and throat radius $r_0$. Also, the critical frequency at which the luminosity attains its maximum value, for various values of the angular momentum of the wormhole $J/M^2$ and $r_0$ is tabulated. Lastly, we have employed ray-tracing technique, to produce the intensity map of the image of an accretion disk, as observed by an asymptotic observer, under two conditions: firstly when the disk is on the same side as the observer and we have also compared those with the images of an accretion disk in case of Kerr black hole with same parameters. Secondly, the images have been provided when the disk and observer are on opposite sides of the throat. The article explores the first exact solution in a four-dimensional EGB-gravity with an anisotropic matter source. The solution has been found by two assumptions, a metric potential and the MIT-bag equation of state. Further, the solution has been tested with several physical constraints. Finally, using the boundary condition we have also estimated the range of bag constant $\mathcal{B}$ by varying the mass of the structure and the Gauss-Bonnet coupling constant $\alpha$. Following the recent theory of $f(Q)$ gravity, we continue to investigate the possible existence of wormhole geometries, where $Q$ is the non-metricity scalar. Recently, the non-metricity scalar and the corresponding field equations have been studied for some spherically symmetric configurations in [ Phys. Lett. B 821, 136612 (2021) and Phys. Rev. D 103, 124001 (2021) ]. One can note that field equations are different in these two studies. Following [Phys. Rev. D 103, 124001 (2021)], we systematically study the field equations for wormhole solutions and found the violation of null energy conditions in the throat neighborhood. More specifically, considering specific choices for the $f(Q)$ form and for constant redshift with different shape functions, we present a class of solutions for static and spherically symmetric wormholes. Our survey indicates that wormhole solutions could not exist for specific form function $f(Q)= Q+ \alpha Q^2$. The prospect of identifying wormholes by investigating the shadows of wormholes constitute a foremost source of insight into the evolution of compact objects and it is one of the essential problems in contemporary astrophysics. The nature of the compact objects (wormholes) plays a crucial role on shadow effect, which actually arises during the strong gravitational lensing. Current Event Horizon Telescope observations have inspired scientists to study and to construct the shadow images of the wormholes. In this work, we explore the shadow cast by a certain class of rotating wormhole. To search this, we first compose the null geodesics and study the effects of the parameters on the photon orbit. We have exposed the form and size of the wormhole shadow and have found that it is slanted as well as can be altered depending on the different parameters present in the wormhole spacetime. We also constrain the size and the spin of the wormhole using the results from M87* observation, by investigating the average diameter of the wormhole as well as deviation from circularity with respect to the wormhole throat size. It is generally believed that wormholes are supported by exotic matter violating Null Energy Condition (NEC). However, various studies of wormhole geometries under Lovelock theories of gravity have reported existence of wormhole supported by matter satisfying NEC. Being inspired by these results, we explore the possibility of the existence of wormhole supported by normal quark matter in third order Lovelock gravity theory. Well known MIT Bag Model Equation of state is chosen for describing the quark matter. Taking physically acceptable approximations, we solve the field equations for shape function which satisfies flare out condition. Geodesic motion has significant characteristics of space-time. We calculate the principle Lyapunov exponent (LE), which is the inverse of the instability timescale associated with this geodesics and Kolmogorov-Senai (KS) entropy for our rotating Kerr-Kiselev (KK) black hole. We have investigate the existence of stable/unstable equatorial circular orbits via LE and KS entropy for time-like and null circular geodesics. We have shown that both LE and KS entropy can be written in terms of the radial equation of innermost stable circular orbit (ISCO) for time-like circular orbit. Also, we computed the equation marginally bound circular orbit, which gives the radius (smallest real root) of marginally bound circular orbit (MBCO). We found that the null circular geodesics has larger angular frequency than time-like circular geodesics ($Q_o > Q_{\sigma}$). Thus, null-circular geodesics provides the fastest way to circulate KK black holes. Further, it is also to be noted that null circular geodesics has shortest orbital period $(T_{photon}< T_{ISCO})$ among the all possible circular geodesics. A class of solutions of Einstein field equations satisfying Karmarkar embedding condition is presented which could describe static, spherical fluid configurations, and could serve as models for compact stars. The fluid under consideration has unequal principal stresses i.e. fluid is locally anisotropic. A certain physically motivated geometry of metric potential has been chosen and codependency of the metric potentials outlines the formation of the model. The exterior spacetime is assumed as described by the exterior Schwarzschild solution. The smooth matching of the interior to the exterior Schwarzschild spacetime metric across the boundary and the condition that radial pressure is zero across the boundary lead us to determine the model parameters. Physical requirements and stability analysis of the model demanded for a physically realistic star are satisfied. The developed model has been investigated graphically by exploring data from some of the known compact objects. The mass-radius (M-R) relationship that shows the maximum mass admissible for observed pulsars for a given surface density has also been investigated. We develop a new model for a spherically symmetric dark matter fluid sphere containing two regions: {\bf (i)} Isotropic inner region with constant density and {\bf (ii)} Anisotropic outer region. We solve the system of field equation by assuming a particular density profile along with a linear equation of state. The obtained solutions are well-behaved and physically acceptable which represent equilibrium and stable matter configuration by satisfying the TOV equation and causality condition, condition on adiabatic index, Harrison-Zeldovich-Novikov criterion, respectively. We consider the compact star EXO 1785-248 (Mass $M=1.3~M_{\odot}$ and radius $R = 8.8 ~km.$) to analyze our solutions by graphical demonstrations., Comment: 11 pages, 11 figures, 2 tables. We analyze the null geodesics of regular black holes. A detailed analysis of geodesic structure both null geodesics and time-like geodesics have been investigated for the said black hole. As an application of null geodecics, we calculate the radius of photon sphere and gravitational bending of light. We also study the shadow of the black hole spacetime. Moreover, we determine the relation between radius of photon sphere~$(r_{ps})$ and the shadow observed by a distance observer. Furthermore, We discus the effect of various parameters on the radius of shadow $R_s$. Also we compute the angle of deflection for the photons as a physical application of null-circular geodesics. We find the relation between null geodesics and quasinormal modes frequency in the eikonal approximation by computing the Lyapunov exponent. It is also shown that~(in the eikonal limit) the quasinormal modes~(QNMs) of black holes are governed by the parameter of null-circular geodesics. The real part of QNMs frequency determines the angular frequency whereas the imaginary part determines the instability time scale of the circular orbit. Next we study the massless scalar perturbations and analyze the effective potential graphically. Massive scalar perturbations also discussed. As an application of time-like geodesics we compute the innermost stable circular orbit~(ISCO) and marginally bound circular orbit~(MBCO) of the regular BHs which are closely related to the black hole accretion disk theory. We derive proper-time Lyapunov exponent $(\lambda_{p})$ and coordinate-time Lyapunov exponent $(\lambda_{c})$ for a regular Hayward class of black hole. The proper-time corresponds to $\tau$ and the coordinate time corresponds to $t$. Where $t$ is measured by the asymptotic observers both for for Hayward black hole and for special case of Schwarzschild black hole. We compute their ratio as $\frac{\lambda_{p}}{\lambda_{c}} = \frac{(r_{\sigma}^{3} + 2 l^{2} m )}{\sqrt{(r_{\sigma}^{2} + 2 l^{2} m )^{3}- 3 m r_{\sigma}^{5}}}$ for time-like geodesics. In the limit of $l=0$ that means for Schwarzschild black hole this ratio reduces to $\frac{\lambda_{p}}{\lambda_{c}} = \sqrt{\frac{r_{\sigma}}{(r_{\sigma}-3 m)}}$. Using Lyponuov exponent, we investigate the stability and instability of equatorial circular geodesics. By evaluating the Lyapunov exponent, which is the inverse of the instability time-scale, we show that, in the eikonal limit, the real and imaginary parts of quasi-normal modes~(QNMs) is specified by the frequency and instability time scale of the null circular geodesics. Several attempts have been made in the past decades to search for the true ground state of the dense matter at sufficiently large densities and low temperatures via compact astrophysical objects. Focusing on strange stars, we derive the hydrostatic equilibrium assuming a maximally symmetric phase of homogeneous superconducting quark matter called the \textit{color-flavor-locked} (CFL) phase in the background of energy-momentum squared gravity (EMSG). Theoretical and experimental investigations show that strange quark matter (SQM) in a CFL state can be the true ground state of hadronic matter at least for asymptotic densities, and even if the unequal quark masses. Motivated by these theoretical models, we explore the structure of stellar objects in recently proposed EMSG, which allows a correction term $T_{\mu \nu}T^{\mu \nu}$ in the action functional of the theory. Interestingly, EMSG may be effective to resolve the problems at high energy densities, e.g., relevant to the early universe and dense compact astrophysical objects without invoking some new forms of fluid stress, such as bulk viscosity or scalar fields. We present Tolman IV spacetime representing compact fluid sphere in bigravity. Here we have explored the effect of scale parameter $k$ in the local matter distribution of compact stars. We have model for three well-known compact stars and it shows that for lower values of $k$ leads to stiffer EoS. This claim is also supported by the graphical analysis. It can be observed that the sound speed and the adiabatic index are more for lower values of $k$. It is also seen that all the solutions of Einstein's field equations are still satisfying the field equations in the presence of a background metric $\gamma_{\mu \nu}$. However, the density and pressure does modified by extra term from the constant curvature background, thus affecting the EoS. One can also think that the parameter $\alpha \equiv 1/k^2$ as coupling constant between the $g_{\mu \nu}$ and $\gamma_{\mu \nu}$ and consequently more the coupling stiffer is the EoS. As $k\rightarrow \infty$, the background de-Sitter spacetime reduces to Minkowski's spacetime and the coupling vanishes. The solution satisfy the causality condition, all the energy conditions and equilibrium under gravity and hydrostatic forces. In this paper we employ Tolman VII solution with exotic matter that may be present in the extremely dense core of compact objects. The Tolman VII solution, an exact analytic solution to the spherically symmetric, static Einstein field equations with a perfect fluid source, has many characteristics that make it interesting for modeling high density stellar astronomical objects. For our purpose we use generalized non-linear equation of state which may incorporate exotic matter along with dust, radiation and dark energy. The equation of state (EoS) has a linear contribution comprising quark/radiation matters and a nonlinear contribution comprising dark energy/exotic matters. The amount of exotic matter contain can be modify by a parameter $n$ which can be linked to adiabatic index. As $n$ increases the exotic contribution increases which stiffens the EoS. The physical properties of the model such as pressure, density, mass function, surface redshift, gravitational redshift are examined and the stability of the stellar configuration is discussed in details. The model has promising features as it satisfies all energy conditions and is free from central singularities. In the present work, we have searched the existence of anisotropic and non-singular compact star in the $f(R,T)$ gravity by taking into account the non-exotic equation of state (EoS). In order to obtain the solutions of the matter content of compact object, we assume the well known barotropic form of EoS that yields the linear relation between pressures and energy density. We propose the existence of non-exotic compact star which shows the validation of energy conditions and stability with in the $f(R,T)$ extended theory of gravity perspective. The linear material correction in the extended theory the matter content of compact star remarkably able to satisfies energy condition. In the present paper we propose a stellar model under the $f(\mathbb{T})$ gravity following the conjecture of Mazur-Mottola~[Report number: LA-UR-01-5067 (2001); Proc. Natl. Acad. Sci. USA 101 (2004) 9545] known in literature as {\it gravastar}, a viable alternative to the black hole. This gravastar has three different regions, viz., (A) Interior core region, (B) Intermediate thin shell, and (C) Exterior spherical region. It is assumed that in the interior region the fluid pressure is equal to a negative matter-energy density providing a constant repulsive force over the spherical thin shell. This shell at the intermediate region is assumed to be formed by a fluid of ultrarelativistic plasma and the pressure, which is directly proportional to the matter-energy density according to Zeldovich's conjecture of stiff fluid~[Zeldovich, Mon. Not. R. Astron. Soc. 160 (1972) 1], does nullify the repulsive force exerted by the interior core region for a stable configuration. On the other hand, the exterior spherical region can be described by the exterior Schwarzschild-de Sitter solution. Solving field equations exactly in $f(R,T)$ gravity is one of the difficult task. To do so, many authors have adopted different methods such as assuming both the metric functions, an equation of state (EoS) and a metric function etc. However, such methods may not always lead to well-behaved solutions and thereby rejection of the solutions may happen after complete calculations. Indeed, very recent works on embedding class one methods suggested that the chances of arriving at the well behaved-solution is very high thereby inspired us to used it. In class one approach, we have to ansatz one of the metric potentials and the other can be obtain from the Karmarkar condition. In this paper, we are proposing new class one solution which is well-behaved in all physical points of view. We have analyzed the nature of the solution by tuning the $f(R,T)-$coupling parameter $\chi$ and found that the solution results into stiffer EoS for $\chi=-1$ than $\chi=1$. Wheeler-Dewitt equation for the wave function of the universe appeared long ago in an approach to quantization of gravity. Presently, the universe considered as the microuniverse, very tiny universe compared to the outer universe to which it belongs. This tiny universe is, thus, supposed to be the subatomic particle (elementary particle) in the universe we live in. It is possible here to convert the wave function of this microuniverse satisfying Wheeler-Dewitt equation into the wave function of the quantum (subatomic) particle, which is shown to satisfy Schr\"{o}dinger equation. The inverse of the length scale indicating smallness of the particle appears in the Schr\"{o}dinger equation being the mass of the particle. In this paper, we consider wormhole geometries in the context of teleparallel equivalent of general relativity (TEGR) as well as $f(T)$ gravity. The TEGR is an alternative geometrical formulation of Einstein's general relativity, where modified teleparallel gravity or $f(T)$ gravity has been invoked as an alternative approach for explaining an accelerated expansion of the universe. We present the analytical solutions under the assumption of spherical symmetry and the existence of a conformal Killing vectors to proceed a more systematic approach in searching for exact wormhole solutions. More preciously, the existence of a conformal symmetry places restrictions on the model. Considering the field equations with a diagonal tetrad and anisotropic distribution of the fluid, we study the properties of traversable wormholes in TEGR that violates the weak and the null energy conditions at the throat and its vicinity. In the second part, wormhole solutions are constructed in the framework of $f(T)$ gravity, where $T$ represents torsion scalar. As a consistency check, we also discuss the behavior of energy conditions with a viable power-law $f(T)$ model and the corresponding shape functions. In addition, a wide variety of solutions are deduced by considering a linear equation of state relating the density and pressure, for the isotropic and anisotropic pressure, independently of the shape functions, and various phantom wormhole geometries are explored., Comment: 15 pages, 25 figure; accepted for publication in Physical Review D
