Bor elementini içeren kimyasal bileşiklerin gün geçtikçe artan önemi ile özgün çalışmalara yer verilmiştir. Bu amaçla ilk olarak metoksipolietilen glikol amin ve 4-formilfenilboronik asit reaksiyonu ile polimer grupları içeren yeni bir boronik asit ve boronat esterleri sentezlendi. Daha sonra yeni boronik asit içeren polimer grubunun çeşitli diollerle dehidrasyon reaksiyonu sonucunda polimer grupları içeren boronat esterleri elde edilmiştir. Ortaya çıkan yeni bor katkılı polimerlerin yapısı başarıyla sentezlendi. Bu polimerlerin yapıları NMR (1H, 13C ve 11B), LC-MS/MS spektrometresi, IR, UV-Vis absorbans spektroskopisi ve floresan spektroskopisi ile aydınlatıldı., With the increasing importance of chemical compounds containing the boron element day by day, original studies have been included. For this aim, a new boronic acid and boronate esters containing polymer groups were synthesized by the reaction methoxypolyethylene glycol amine and 4-formylphenylboronic acid for the firstly. Then, as a result of the dehydration reaction of the new boronic acid containing polymer groups with various diols, the boronate esters containing polymer groups were obtained. The structure of the resulting new boron-doped polymers was successfully synthesized. The structures of these polymers were elucidated by NMR (1H, 13C and 11B), LC-MS/MS spectrometer, IR, UV-Vis absorbance spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy.

A series of boronate esters (1–3) and N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC)-stabilized boronate esters (4–6) were synthesized and characterized by various spectroscopic techniques, including NMR (1H, 13C, and 11B), FT-IR, UV-Vis, LC-MS/MS spectrometry, melting point, and elemental analysis techniques. The boronate esters (1–3) and N-heterocyclic carbene (NHC)-stabilized boronate esters (4–6) (as Lewis acid) rapidly catalyze the coupling of a variety of epoxides and CO2 to obtain cyclic carbonates in the presence of DMAP (as Lewis base) without the organic solvent. Good to excellent yields of various cyclic carbonates were also achieved under suitable conditions (125 °C, 0.5 h, and 1.6 MPa). After seeing the high catalytic performance of boronate ester catalysts, effects of epoxide, base, temperature, CO2 pressure, reaction time and amount of catalyst and base were investigated for these catalysts. The boronate ester (1) and DMAP showed the best catalytic activity (94.3%) and selectivity (97.5%) for the coupling of CO2 and ECH under suitable conditions (125 °C, 0.5 h, and 1.6 MPa).

In this work, novel vic-dioxime ligand (LH2) containing bound to the N-4-oxime core moiety and its complexes with Cu(II), Ni(II), Ti(IV), VO(IV), and Zn(II) salts have been studied. The structure of the ligand and its complexes were successfully synthesized and characterized using NMR (H-1 and C-13), LC/MS/MS spectrometer, FT-IR and UV/VIS spectroscopy, melting point, and magnetic susceptibility measurements. Vic-dioxime ligand (LH2) (1) and its metal complexes ([Cu(LH)(2)] (2), [Ni(LH)(2)] (3), [Ti(LH)(2)]Cl-2 (4), [VO(LH)(2)] (5), and [Zn(LH)(2)] (6), respectively) were tested for them in-vitro antibacterial and antioxidant activities. According to the metal chelating results of the study, it was determined that compounds (1), (2), (3), and (6) showed very good activity, and especially compound (2), had a stronger metal chelating capacity due to ligand dissociation from the synthesized metal complexes, which then would chelate Fe(II) in the experimental setting. When microorganisms were evaluated in terms of the % viability effect, it was observed that all compounds had activity against C. Albicans and S. Cerevisiae at rates similar to antibiotics.
