The 14th General Election (GE-14) which was held on May 9, 2018, had surprising results that changed the political climate of the country. The alliance Pakatan Harapan, which adopts the PK logo and includes the Parti Warisan Sabah, beat the Parti Barisan Nasional (BN) and won 122 seats in parliament. The remaining 79 parliamentary seats were won by BN, and the 18 seats gained by PAS, which opted to run unopposed, were won by BN. After the 14th General Election, disagreements arose about the Sultan's authority, the specific rights of the Malays, Islam's status as the Federation of Malaysia's official religion, and the Malay language's status as its official language. This change is particularly noticeable among journalists of Malay ancestry who have reported the issue to the police more frequently than before following the 14th GE. The social well-being of the Malay community is seen as being threatened by this issue. This article investigates the social well-being of the Malay community in the wake of the 14th GE. It employed both document analysis and interviews to collect data for a qualitative investigation. The data prior to and following the 14th GE were examined using comparative analysis. The study’s findings show that following the 14th General Election,the harmony between the Malay community and other race groups has encountered disruptions. This disruption stems from the actions of nonMalay individuals who frequently challenged the privileged status of Malays and engaged in derogatory remarks about the Sultan and the Islamic faith. As a result, any governing party must align with the sentiments of the Malay community and refrain from disregarding their emotions and the delicate subjects that concern them. This stance is crucial to ensure the security and enduring well-being of the Malay community, who are the indigenous people of Malaysia.

Shaykh Nawawi al-Banteni is a famous scholar who has produced many scientific works in the archipelago. Among his works is the book Nasa'ih al-'Ibad which is exegesis from the book al¬Munabbahat 'Ala al-'Isti'dad Li Yaum al-Ma'ad by Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani and the book Tanqih al-Qaul which is exeges from the book Lubab al-Hadith by Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti. Both of these works are a reference in several pesantrens in Indonesia and are also widely taught in certain suraus, halakah and mosques. However, the in -depth study of the method of syarh the hadith of the book is rarely noticed by the users of the book. Therefore, it is important to explain the method of syarh hadith found in these two books in order to know its status and also to measure the extent of the author's knowledge in the knowledge of hadith. This study intends to explore the method of syarh hadith by Shaykh Nawawi in the book Nasa’ih al-‘Ibad and Tanqih al-Qaul. The purpose of this study is to analyze the method of syarh hadith used by Shaykh Nawawi and reveal the extent of his knowledge and status as a scholar of hadith through the books of Nasa'ih al-‘Ibad and Tanqih al-Qaul. The methodology of this study is qualitative through the method of content analysis by focusing on the books of Nasa’ih al¬‘Ibad and Tanqih al-Qaul. This study found that there are similarities and differences in the methodology of exegesis hadith in the books of Nasa’ih al-‘Ibad and Tanqih al-Qaul by Shaykh Nawawi al-Banteni. In addition, he also has good ability and knowledge in the knowledge of hadith.

Buku ini mengandungi enam bab yang merangkumi pengenalan, falsafah kajian, reka bentuk kajian, tipologi reka bentuk kajian, reka bentuk kajian khusus, metode dan alat kajian dan penulisan laporan. Penulis buku ini mengggunakan gaya bahasa akademik yang mudah supaya pembaca dapat memahami dengan jelas. Pembaca perlu membaca semua bab supaya dapat menguasai proses pembinaan reka bentuk kajian.

Economic change is moving the role of women to be holistic and flexible in employment sector engagement. Women are increasingly actively venturing into various fields either as subordinate employees or professional management. The problem arises once there are a handful of working women who fail to balance work and family commitments. In addition, it becomes the trigger of various side effects such as mental health, emotional tension and physiological health problems. Thus, the researcher conducted a systematic review of the literature to look at some of the views of previous researchers related to the issue of family work balance involving women, including in the context of Islamic perspective. Researchers use critical analysis that is to observe the findings of previous researchers. The World Economic Forum shows that Malaysia is ranked 104th in the Global Gender Gap index 2020. The study also found that there are many factors that cause work and family imbalance among working women. Therefore, working women also requisite to ensure that their responsibilities to the family continue to be fulfilled based on the concept of religion. Work and family balance can have a positive impact on women’s well-being and maintain sustainability of work performance as well as commitment to family.

Before the 1979 Iranian Islamic Revolution, the US helped Iran in developing its nuclear program, but after the revolution, the US was the main opponent of the nuclear program. The Iran-US good relationship before the revolution was because both countries had mutual interests. Iran needed US assistance to develop its nuclear program, while the US was in need of Iran's supply of oil and made the country as US hegemonic pole and to block the spread of communism of the Soviet Union. When the Islamic Revolution took place in 1979, relations between the two countries were at a critical level and indirectly, US interests in Iran were also affected. This turned the Iran-US relations in the opposite phase. However, after Rouhani took over Iran's leadership, Iran-US relations were deemed to be quite good. Unfortunately, when Donald Trump became President of the United States in 2017, Iran-US relation has become uncertain as Trump refused to ratify the nuclear deal. The objective of this article is to clarify Iran-US relations in the context of nuclear issues and to analyse why the relationship changed from friends to foes. It is then elaborated in detail and analysed using a neorealism perspective. This article is qualitative in which primary data is collected through interviews with field experts and report documents as well. Secondary data is collected through library resources and authoritative internet materials. The findings show that the US’s support toward Iranian nuclear before revolution was due to structure or world system, which is the bipolar system, between the US and Soviet Union. After revolution, the US pressured Iran to terminate its nuclear program was due to protect the US hegemony and its ally, Israel. However, Iran still continuing its nuclear program. Iran action to pursue its nuclear program is justified as it is a survival effort as well as to prevent external threats.

Developments in the Malaysian education system have begun since colonial times to currently. Many change and paradigm shifts are seen especially in the context of content, context, teaching and learning in Malaysia. However, in the context of ethnic relations there are several challenges, directions and issues that occur due to tensions, misunderstandings and constraints that are inevitable. In addition, the government is constantly concerned and takes this seriously by establishing various plans and policy measures to develop the country's education system. The established educational policy is in line with the desire to develop a generation of intellectuals in the concept of holistic unity and holistic culture. This is because ethnic relations are not an obstacle to the idea of educational development, but it is a platform to empower the nation's education policy in the context of national unity, political stability and national development. History and chronology of the development of the national education system need to be deeply identified to foster the state's awareness and enthusiasm. Indirectly, the stigma and assumptions that become ethnic issues can be constrained and developed with a positive philosophy. The establishment of a separated practice to integration is one of the practical forms of ethical unity through good quality interaction and communication. Indirectly, it will form a group of socially educated people.

Belajar merupakan suatu perubahan tingkah laku seseorang untuk mencapai sesuatu yang diinginkan. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi prestasi belajar banyak jenisnya tetapi dapat digolongkan menjadi dua golongan saja yaitu faktor intern dan ekstern. Di antara kedua faktor tersebut terdapat variabel-variabel di dalamnya yang turut mempengaruhi tinggi rendahnya prestasi belajar siswa yaitu penggunaan gadget smartphone intensitas menonton televisi dan keterampilan sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan pengaruh penggunaan gadget smartphone (X1) intensitas menonton televisi (X2) dan keterampilan sosial (X3) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (Y) baik secara parsial maupun simultan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Bondowoso. Jenis penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian asosiatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa jurusan pemasaran SMK Negeri 1 Bondowoso yang berjumlah 144 siswa. Jumlah pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 104 siswa dengan menggunakan rumus Slovin dengan teknik proportionate stratified random sampling. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa kuesioner dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif dan regresi linier berganda. Data diolah dengan bantuan software SPSS 16.0. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa (1) Penggunaan gadget smartphone tidak memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa (2) Ada pengaruh intensitas menonton televisi terhadap prestasi belaja

The Assesment of Inclusiveness Principle of Malaysian New Economic Model: Maqashid Syar’iyyah Perspective. Objective of this article is to assess how far the principles of inclusiveness in the Economic New Model in Malaysia can fulfil the needs of maqasid syar’iyyah. The assessment is conducted through the key concepts and strategic measures of the principles of inclusiveness. This study is a qualitative which descriptive and analytical approach is used for assessing the principles of inclusiveness in the Economic New Model based on maqasid syar’iyyah perspective. The method of this study is using the literature review with references from secondary data. This study is expected to provide recommendations about the important role of maqasid syar’iyyah for maintaining the welfare of society and developing of a country, in this context for developing the Malaysian economy, in line with the vision 2020, Malaysia on par with developed countries.

Iran’s Ahmadinejad decided to reactivate the development of nuclear technology programs. This led the United States to claim that Iran was trying to create nuclear weapons and pressured Iran to terminate it. The purpose of this article is to identify the US strategic interests in the Middle Eastern region in relation to Iran's nuclear. It is then elaborated in detail and analysed using a neorealism perspective. This article is qualitative in which primary data is collected through interviews with field experts. In addition, reports and content analysis are also part of the primary data of this article, while secondary data refers to authoritative internet materials. We argue that US strategic interests in the Middle East in the context of Iran's nuclear is to control Persian Gulf oil resources, preventing wider Iran's influence in the Middle East, providing military protection to the Persian Gulf states as the largest oil producers in the Middle East and protecting Israel whom is a close US ally. When viewed from neorealism perspective, we argue that Iran's action under Ahmadinejad to continue its nuclear program is justified as it is a survival effort and to prevent external threats, though this will lead to nuclear competition in the region.
