Purpose – The purpose of this study was to explore child educational content digital folklore on YouTube, and It is used to teach young children about science, language, and values. The unit analysis on this research was the video of Pak Lebai Malang from West Sumatera, Indonesia.Design/methods/approach – The qualitative content analysis method was used in this study. The content analyzed was digital folklore based on the Minangkabau story Pak Lebai Malang. The process began with downloading the video, creating a transcript, taking notes on the text, language, and context, re-watching the video, comparing and contrasting it to the memo, and eliciting evidence from the video.Findings – The data revealed the following ways in which digital folklore on YouTube teaches science, language, and values: 1) digital technology illustrates science concepts with simple-to-understand videos; 2) by repeating the words and visualizing each spoken word, YouTube videos teach children new vocabulary. 3) the characters’ expressions and intonation in the video teach children about social values.Research implications/limitations – This research could serve as a springboard for future research on the use of digital folklores in early childhood classrooms. It is advised that additional research be conducted to improve the interest, effectiveness, and applicability of digital folklore in the early childhood learning process and design more effective programs for teaching science, language, and value to young people children. The study’s drawback is that it analyzes only one video. If it is compared to other videos, it may provide a complete view. Practical implications – This study informs educators on the potential for using digital folklore to teach science, language, and values. It entails the implementation of more creative strategies in early childhood education. Additionally, the study inspires innovative content creators on YouTube to make their videos more relevant to young children’s learning. Additionally, parents may discover that something as simple as a YouTube video could be an incredible resource for their child’s development.Originality/value – The study explains child educational content based on local wisdom. The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of the Tracker video analysis application to measure the centripetal force on the circular motion in the traditional Tari Piring dance. A qualitative descriptive study was conducted. This study discovered that: 1) the Tracker application measured physical quantities related to the concept of centripetal force by analyzing the position of an object in each frame of video to a specified unit size; 2) video analysis with the Tracker application depicted physics concepts through real-world phenomena; and 3) video measurement results with the Tracker application were more precise and less uncertainty. The researchers concluded that when compared to analog measurements, the Tracker application offered several advantages. However, this application has not been widely used for educational purposes in schools. The researchers advocated for using this Tracker application in physics education, particularly when it comes to motion phenomena.

Fires of land and forests on peatland occur every year. This problem is triggered by the burning of land that is not cultivated, or the business of land clearing by community group that does an open fire which is less costly. Because of this condition, people need to find alternative efforts to use peat without burning the land. The agroforestry model is an effort carried out by utilizing land for wood industry plants and the seasonal crops (agriculture) are planted among the main crops. This effort encourages partnerships between private parties and local residents. Field applications have been carried out in the Sumatra Alam Anugrah LLC concession area, in Gumai Village, Teluk Rumai Village, Gelumbang sub-district. Sengon plants are used as main plants, while pineapple plants are intercrop plants, which are expected to contribute to the income of local residents. Results of the study showed that soil characteristics were characterized by porosity ranging from 90 to 95% and soil content of 0.2 gr / cm3. The movement of water in the soil was very fast. In order to manage the land and water of the study area it is suggested to apply a concept of water control that is a shallow drainage, namely the primary channel that has a depth of 2 m, the secondary channel, and tertiary channel that were made with a depth of 1 m. In the plot of the land a worm channel is made with a distance between 50 channels and a depth of 40 cm. With this shallow water system, the depth of the groundwater can be maintained at an altitude of 30 to 40 cm, so that it is suitable for pineapple growth and also prevention of land fires.

This paper aims to design a Science Adaptive Assessment-Tool (SAA-Tool) based on KOLB student learning styles with four learning styles Converger, Assimilator, Diverger, and accommodator to measure high-level skills. The research method uses a qualitative method where the development design research refers to Akker, namely the analysis, design, evaluation, and revision stages. The results of this study obtained the SAA Tool prototype that has been validated by material and assessment experts with a good and very good score range, while the media expert's assessment gave a good score category. The development of this e-assessment application provides an opportunity for students to connect to an automation system, which increases the efficiency of the learning process and system.

Data center is a facility that consumes a lot of energy. From the total energy used by data center, IT equipments as its major component consume energy by 50%, and cooling system consumes energy by 37%. There are various strategies to improve the efficiency of the cooling system in order to save energy consumption. Because data center operates continuously, so that the potential of disturbance and shut down due to overheating should be avoided. Optimization is performed by using the Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulation. Assessment of PAU data center shows that the metric Rack Cooling Index (RCI) for data center cooling systemis 100% and the metric Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) is 2.04. This value indicates that the energy consumption of data centercooling system is not efficient. Simulation results indicate the presence of mixing air between hot air and cold air and cause less efficient of the cooling process. Optimization is carried out by adding blanking panels, cold aisle containment, and changing the layout of the components and shelves. The result shows that the value of RCI achieved at 100% for RCI high and 99% for RCI low . Meanwhile, the PUE value is reduced to 1.92. The energy used by cooling system is also reduced by 1.28kW.

One of the main effect of anesthesia in surgical patients is hypothermia. Its effectpossibility causes the declining of the immune system and surgical site infections. The anesthetic will affect the body's thermoregulatory system that reduced the generation of heat from the body. The lower temperature of air condition in the operating room will increase heat loss from the body and exacerbate the drop of core body temperature. This study was conducted to evaluate the response of surgical patient's body who experience the effects of anesthesiain varied air conditions. The model of thermoregulation and heat exchanges are developed to determine the distribution of body temperatures. The bioheat equation is modified regarding to the change of its conditions and implemented on the spherical and cylindrical models of the body. Thermoregulation models consist of conduction heat transfer at each tissue element with heat generation from metabolism and blood perfusion and heat exchange between skin and ambient air. Model simulations conducted during 30 minutes with applying time dependent conditions. The surrounding temperature is set at 21, 23, and 25°C where for each condition the air velocity on the body surface is set at 0.2 and 0.4m/s. Results of simulation show that the temperature on the upper side of the body is higher than the lower side and the temperature of the surgical patient who affected by anesthesia is lower than the normal people. On varied condition the upper side of body temperature are 33.4oC, 33.8oC and 34.4oC respectively and indicates that radiation is the dominant mode of heat exchange between body and surrounding.

In this work, we develop battery thermal management system for high capacity lithium-ion module by using air cooling method to minimize the differences of battery cell's temperature by comparing the parasitic energy consumed by the cooling fan system. The battery thermal management system utilizes two brushless fans, an evaporator unit, an insulation box, a programmable logic control (PLC) and sensors to monitor the operational and the performance of the battery cells. The battery module consists of four high capacity lithium iron manganese phosphate (LiFeMnPO4) battery cells with the nominal voltage of 3.2V and the nominal capacity of 100Ah which are connected in series. To get the initial battery cells thermal characteristic in time series, C5, C10, and C20 discharging methods have been conducted to the battery module using programmable load controller. Based on these thermal characteristics, we demonstrate thermal management system using active control of air cooling system to reduce the temperature rises and temperature differences between battery cells. The results show that the implemented battery thermal management system affects the amount of energy that can be utilized from the battery module. In the C5 discharging process, by using 40 % of fan speed control, the amount of energy that can be drawn from battery module was 3044 kJ including 19.3 kJ as the parasitic energy, and the highest battery cell temperature differences was 3.9 Celsius. This amount of energy was 5.1% higher than that of without the thermal management system.

Development of information technology drives the increase demand of data centre and the invention of high performance of computer facilities which will impact to the increasing of heat dissipation from equipment. The environmental condition in data centre must be designed and maintained strictly to avoid disruption and thermally shut down that caused by overheat and loss of cooling. This paper primarily focuses on the optimization cooling system in data centre by arrangement of racks position and airflow management. Models and simulation of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) are developed for the room and equipment of data centre where the effect to temperature and airflow profiles will be observed. A case study of data centre design in Kuala Lumpur with 30 racks of equipment and combination of raised floor cooling and spot cooling was carried out. Results of CFD simulation show the issues of data centre cooling and improvement was suggested to improve the distribution of cooling and reduction of hot spots.
