2. The Effect of STEM-EDP in Professional Learning on Automotive Engineering Competence in Vocational High School

Abstract

The quality of teacher learning practices currently continues to be improved through various training programs, mentoring, and evaluations from Indonesian government support. The 21st-century teacher's ability to develop learning technology is a cooperative learning approach and multidisciplinary integration of science to solve surrounding problems. This study describes the effectiveness and benefits of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in the Automotive Engineering Competency with the Engineering Design Process (EDP) approach in the "motorcycle burglary case studies." This research is a type of pre-experimental design in the form of a pretest-posttest group design. The purposive sampling technique was carried out to find out the sample of students in one of the vocational schools Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 2019. The results showed that (1) the assessment of lesson plan in the form of review and supervision was declared complete; (2) aspects of the STEM-EDP assessment consist of formative tests, the 1st Student Worksheet, the 2nd Student Worksheet, and Products which stated in the seven stages of EDP; (3) Wilcoxon test, Z = -4.86 with significance (p) = 0.00 <0.05, illustrates that STEM-EDP is effective than summative learning, and can improve learning.

Abstract

Study this aim for (1) For knowing how development of E-module on the eye lesson Automotive Basics _ for increase results study students. (2) For knowing how the eligibility of the E-Module to be applied to eye lesson Basic Automotive Jobs in Vocational High School. (3) For knowing enhancement results study student class X TKRO at VHS N 1 Alian after using the E-Module work base automotive. Method used _ in study this is Research and Development (RnD) with the ADDIE development model, namely : 1) Analysis, 2) Design, 3) Development, 4) Implementation, 5) Evaluation. population study student class X VHS N 1 Alian in 2022 there are 34 students. Instrument data collection using tests and questionnaires response each student _ already tested try and already Fulfill condition validation. Data analysis using T-Test test. As for the results research that has been held so could concluded that E-Module development on the eye lesson profession base automotive could increase results study students of VHS N 1 Alian. design beginning consulted to media expert. Validation result showing that the E-Module media on the eyes lesson profession base automotive validated by two _ validator expert, namely validator 1 (media expert) gets percentage 85% of percentage highest 100% and enter category " good " and validator 2 (experts) material) get percentage 92.5% of percentage highest 100% and enter " good " category. Application of media with group small get the percentage of 93.5% is classified as " good ". Next results study post test control class get the average value of 63.5 and post-test class experiment get the average value is 79.5 which means there is increase results study of 16. The results of the paired samples test t-test analysis are obtained score significance (2-tailed) 0.001<0.05 indicates existence significant difference _ to use of E-Module on the eyes lesson profession base automotive. 15. Effects of Oxygen Partial Pressure on the Electronic Properties and Chemical State of MgO/SiO2/Si(100) Thin Films

Abstract

Magnesium Oxide (MgO) thin films were deposited on SiO2/Si substrate by electron beam evaporation. The properties of MgO thin film with and without oxygen partial pressure have been investigated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), Reflection Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy (REELS), and Ultra-Violet Photoemission Spectroscopy (UPS). The XPS was used to investigate the chemical state of the film. REELS spectra revealed that MgO thin films deposited under oxygen partial pressure had band gaps of 6.07 eV. Meanwhile, the band gap for MgO thin films grown without oxygen partial pressure was 7.17 eV. The UPS results showed that the work functions of MgO thin film with and without oxygen partial pressure are 4.75 and 4.84 eV, respectively. In the MgO thin film with oxygen partial pressure, the intensity for the valence band peak at 12.16 eV decreased, but the work function remained relatively the same. Our results demonstrated that the oxygen partial pressure played a crucial role in improving the electronic properties of MgO thin films.

18. Analisis Bentuk Bahasa Penolakan Dalam Transaksi Jual Beli Online

Abstract

Tindak tutur penolakan merupakan ungkapan yang berbentuk kalimat atau wacana yang berisi data ataupun asumsi menolak penawaran yang diinformasikan oleh penutur dengan metode tertentu. Jenis ungkapan penolakan tersebut bisa berbentuk penolakan yang santun maupun penolakan yang tidak santun. Bentuk penolakan ini terjadi antara penjual dan pembeli pada sebuah transaksi. Penelitian ini menganalisis bentuk bahasa penolakan transaksi jual beli online yaitu pada aplikasi e-commerce. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui bentuk bahasa penolakan dalam transaksi jual beli online pada satu aplikasi dengan traffic pengunjung tertinggi yaitu e-commerce “X”. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah responden yang memakai aplikasi X sebanyak 10 orang mahasiswa jurusan PAI UIN SMH Banten. Jenis dan sumber data pada penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan cara menyebar kuesioner responden dengan pemakai aplikasi X. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan data bahwa terdapat lima bentuk bahasa penolakan dari pengguna aplikasi X dalam transaksi jual beli online. Kelima bentuk bahasa penolakan tersebut yaitu (1) menolak dengan memanfaatkan kata tidak atau padanannya seperti ndak, jangan, dan nggak, (2) menolak dengan memanfaatkan kalimat alasan tertentu, (3) menolak dengan memberikan syarat dan kondisi tertentu, (4) menolak dengan memberikan usul atau pilihan yang tidak dapat dipenuhi oleh penjual, (5) menolak dengan memberi ucapan terimakasih karena telah memberi alternatif informasi. Penolakan dalam transaksi online kebanyakan dikarenakan produk tidak sesuai dengan apa yang dicari oleh pembeli, harganya tidak sesuai, serta hanya mencari alternatif produk.Kata kunci : bahasa, online, penolakan, transaksi, jual beli
