1. Some Statistical Tools to Measure The Effectiveness of a (LEM) Model on Creative Thinking Among Intermediate Students in Mathematics

Abstract

The article aims to identify the effectiveness of the (LEM) model for a multimodal environment on creative thinking among first-grade intermediate students in Mathematics using some statistical tools. We achieved credibility, and stability and prepared a test of creative thinking for its three levels (fluency, flexibility, and originality). We achieved their credibility by presenting the results to a group of experts and arbitrators. The stability (92%) was extracted using the Alpha Cronbach formula. After applying the test and processing the data statistically using t-test for the independent sample, the results were as follows: There was a statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental and control group students and for the experimental group in the test of creative thinking. We conclude that the adoption of the (LEM) model for a multimodal environment has a positive effect on creative thinking in mathematics.

Abstract

This work is devoted to study the blow-up phenomenon in a reaction-diffusion equation, defined on a ball, with a Dirichlet boundary condition. It is shown that the classical solutions of this problem have to blow up in finite time at only the center point. Moreover, the blow-up growth rate estimate is investigated. Furthermore, to confirm and support the obtained analytic blow-up results, we use a finite difference scheme for estimating numerically the blow-up time and the blow-up growth rate constant, for a one-dimensional-space equation as a special case of the considered problem. Abstract

This thesis is concerned with the study of the Blow-up phenomena for parabolic problems, which can be defined in a basic way as the inability to continue the solutions up to or after a finite time, the so called blow-up time. Namely, we consider the blow-up location in space and its rate estimates, for special cases of the following types of problems: (i) Dirichlet problems for semilinear equations, (ii) Neumann problems for heat equations, (iii) Neumann problems for semilinear equations, (iv) Dirichlet (Cauchy) problems for semilinear equations with gradient terms. For problems of type (i), (ii), we extend some known blow-up results of parabolic problems with power and exponential type nonlinearities to problems with nonlinear terms, which grow faster than these types of functions for large values of solutions. Moreover, under certain conditions, some blow-up results of the single semilinear heat equation are extended to the coupled systems of two semilinear heat equations. For problems of type (iii), we study how the reaction terms and the nonlinear boundary terms affect the blow-up properties of the blow-up solutions of these problems. The noninuence of the gradient terms on the blow-up bounds is showed for problems of type (iv).

Abstract

This work is concerned with the periodic solution of a p-Laplacian Allen-Cahn equation with nonlocal terms associated with Neumann boundary conditions. Namely, the topological degree theorem is applied to prove the existence of a limit point to the auxiliary problem, which is also considered a nontrivial nonnegative time-periodic solution of the main studied problem. 27. Numerical Finite-Difference Approximations of a Coupled Reaction-Diffusion System with Gradient Terms.

Abstract

This study focuses on the derivation of explicit and implicit finite difference formulas.The objective of this study is to derive an estimation of the blow-up time for a coupled reactiondiffusion system incorporating gradient terms, employing numerical finite difference approximations. Furthermore, an examination is conducted on the consistency, stability, and convergence of the proposed schemes. Additionally, the study presents two numerical experiments. In each instance, the numerical blow-up time is calculated benefit the suggested methodologies, employing varying space steps and non-fixed time-stepping. The numerical findings obtained demonstrate that the blow-up time sequence exhibits convergence as the space step decreases. Moreover, the numerical orders of convergence for the blow-up time goes well with the theoretical orders observed in the numerical solutions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
