Nori is an authentic Japanese food made from Porphyra seaweed. However, Porphyra is difficult to cultivate in Indonesia because it generally grows in subtropical areas. The demand for nori continues to increase with the development of Japanese, Korean, and Chinese fast-food restaurants in Indonesia. Therefore, it is necessary to make nori using seaweed easily cultivated in Indonesia, namely Eucheuma cottonii and Ulva lactuca. This research aimed to study the sensory and chemical characteristics of nori from Indonesian seaweed added with breadfruit leaf extract and grass jelly. Dried Eucheuma cottonii was obtained from LIPI Oceanography, while dried Ulva lactuca was obtained from waters in Sidoarjo. Dried breadfruit leaf used in this study were obtained from processing fresh breadfruit leaf from the yards of residents of the Babakan Penghulu Village, Cinambo District. Green grass jelly leaf were obtained from Andir. Three nori formulas were made, namely the addition of breadfruit leaf extract (200 ml), a combination of breadfruit leaf and grass jelly (100:100 ml), and the addition of grass jelly (200 ml). The sensory test is carried out using the hedonic test method with 30 untrained panelists. Panellists were asked for their responses regarding color, taste, texture, aroma, and total acceptance on a scale of 1-5, from very dislike to very like. Chemical testing includes water, ash, protein, fat, crude fiber, and antioxidant activity. The results show that the best formula is the one with the addition of breadfruit leaf extract, which gave an overall acceptance score of 3.37, water content of 5.26%, ash content of 2.41 %, fat content of 2.06%, protein content of 22.24%, starch content of 59.97%, and crude fiber of 6.65%, and antioxidant activity of 702.75 ppm. Nori using local Indonesian seaweed with the addition of breadfruit leaf extract can be an alternative to commercial nori.

Facebook is widely used across various segments of society and offers significant potential as a marketing tool due to its diverse content and communication features. This study aims to forecast visits to the Facebook website for the period of March 2023 to February 2024 using two forecasting methods: the Facebook Prophet and SARIMA models. We analyzed 167 data points representing the percentage of visits to the Facebook website from April 2009 to February 2023, sourced from Statcounter. Our forecasting results indicate that the Facebook Prophet model yielded a Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 22.3% and a Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) of 16.2%. In comparison, the SARIMA model achieved a MAPE of 6.31% and an RMSE of 5.02%. Based on these accuracy metrics, the SARIMA model is determined to be more suitable for forecasting the percentage of visits to the Facebook social media website in Indonesia. This finding underscores the importance of selecting appropriate forecasting models for accurate predictions in social media analytics

The intricate dynamics of supply chain collaboration within the aquaculture industry underscore the need for a comprehensive understanding of how various forms of capital and information sharing influence collaborative efforts. This study addresses this necessity by integrating intellectual capital theory and social capital theory as the theoretical foundation for the proposed conceptual research framework. Utilizing structural equation modeling (SEM), this research analyzed data collected from 180 shrimp farmers in East Java, Indonesia, from October 2021 to January 2022. The findings reveal that intra-organizational human capital, structural capital, inter-organizational relational capital and information sharing positively affect supply chain collaboration. Additionally, the study demonstrates that supply chain collaboration enhances both collaborative advantage and organizational performance. It also highlights the nuanced moderating role of information sharing in strengthening the impact of structural capital on collaboration. This research provides new insights into the aquaculture industry’s collaborative dynamics, offering valuable implications for practitioners and policymakers aiming to foster effective collaboration and achieve beneficial performance outcomes.

Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan menghasilkan flipbook sebagai bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal yang mampu mendorong literasi budaya dan kewargaan serta memperkuat pendidikan karakter di kalangan peserta didik. Bahan ajar ini meliputi informasi tentang Kota Tangerang, tradisi Palang Pintu, dan tari Lenggang Cisadane. Proses pengembangan bahan ajar ini mengikuti model ADDIE. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, angket, dan tes, di mana angket mencakup penilaian dari ahli media, ahli materi, dan respon siswa, sementara tes terdiri dari pretest dan posttest. Analisis data dilakukan dengan memanfaatkan uji t-test dan n-gain. Sampel penelitian melibatkan 30 siswa kelas IV di SDIT Tunas Harapan Ilahi, Kota Tangerang, Banten. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar yang dilakukan tergolong ke dalam kategori "sangat layak," memiliki rata-rata respons siswa mencapai 91%, yang dinilai "sangat baik." Penggunaan bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal dengan media flipbook terbukti memberikan dampak positif untuk mendorong literasi budaya dan kewargaan serta memperkuat pendidikan karakter. Efektivitas bahan ajar untuk mendorong literasi budaya dan kewargaan mencapai 76,4% (kategori "tinggi"), sedangkan dalam penguatan pendidikan karakter mencapai 68,4% (kategori "sedang"). Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, bahan ajar berbasis kearifan lokal dengan media flipbook dinilai layak untuk dipergunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi budaya dan kewargaan serta memperkuat pendidikan karakter siswa sekolah dasar.

Safety training is the exercise normally conducted for all the current and future employees of a company to identify and recognize occupational hazards and diseases as well as determine the appropriate controlling methods. Moreover, virtual reality (VR) is a technology developed to virtually simulate the surrounding environment to ensure immersive experience and interaction through artificial three-dimensional (3D) platforms. VR devices have been developed to be more compact, easy to use, and affordable to enable people to enjoy immersive virtual experiences and provide interactive and realistic content. This has made technology one of the most popular forms of media for different kinds of training, such as safety-related ones. Therefore, this study aimed to review the use of VR in safety training through the systematic literature review (SLR) method. The process focused on developing 4 primary questions (PQs) classified into 11 systematic research questions (SRQs) for discussion points concerning current developments in VR technology applications. These were further combined with the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) flow diagrams in selecting the relevant literature. The questions were also used to investigate the scenarios, methods, objectives, and outcomes of previous studies. The results showed the need for further studies on the application of VR technology in safety training in other fields such as firefighting, chemical industry, maritime, etc. Furthermore, several scenarios such as construction design, disaster response, rescue procedures, and others need to be included. This study also provides information on the gaps for future study, including the exploration of a broader range of industries and VR scenarios.

Abstract The government of Serdang Bedagai Regency initiated a supplementation program to reduce the high prevalence of stunting in the area by delivering extra supplementation, which were nutritious biscuits from national government and fish-based supplement produced from local resources. A 6-month study from April 2022 to September 2022 was conducted to monitor and evaluate the government program that involved 219 under-5-year-old children with height-for-age Z-score (HAZ-score) below − 2. We observed the stunting prevalence reduction by 37.00%, where 81 children recovered from stunting (HAZ-score ≥ − 2). Furthermore, the mean HAZ-score and WHZ-score (Weight-for-Height Z-score) were monitored to significantly improve by 0.97 ± 1.45 (P-value = 1.74e−14) and 1.00 ± 2.18 (P-value = and 2.40e−8), subsequently. The most significant improvement in HAZ-score was monitored among children receiving fish-based supplements with 1.04 ± 1.44 improvement (P-value = 6.59e−17). Then, a significant WHZ-score improvement was reported from children consuming fish-based supplements and a combination of fish-based supplements with nutritious biscuits (P-value = 2.32e−8 and 5.48e−5) by 1.04 ± 2.29 and 0.83 ± 1.84, respectively. The results of the observation become evidence that the program could effectively reduce the prevalence of stunting in children below five years old, especially among children who received locally produced fish-based supplements.

This research investigates potential mechanisms of novel magnetic field (MF) treatments in inhibiting cell-wall-degrading enzymes, aiming to reduce weight loss and preserve the post-harvest quality of tomatoes (Solanum lycopersicum L.) as a climacteric fruit. The optimization of the processing parameters, including MF intensity (1, 2, 3 mT), frequency (0, 50, 100 Hz), and duration (10, 20, 30 min), was accomplished by applying an orthogonal array design. In particular, the investigation delved into the underlying mechanisms by which MF impedes the activity of tissue-degrading enzymes, such as pectin esterase (PE), polygalacturonase (PG), and cellulase (Cx), during the storage period. The results showed that MF treatment delayed the increase in soluble solids by 1.5 times and reduced titratable acidity by 1.2 times. The optimal treatment conditions—2 mT, 50 Hz, and 10 min—achieved the most significant inhibition of weight loss (4.22%) and maintained tissue integrity for up to 21 days. Optimized MF significantly suppressed enzyme activity, with PE activity reduced by 1.5 times, PG by 2.8 times, and Cx by 2.5 times. Also, cross-sectional images and external appearance demonstrated that MF-treated tomatoes retained their internal tissue structure throughout the extended storage period. These findings suggest that MF treatments can effectively suppress the key enzymes responsible for tissue degradation, ultimately delaying weight loss and softening, preserving post-harvest quality, and contributing to sustainable food production and zero waste.

Beban kerja, stres kerja, dan kondisi lingkungan kerja turut mempengaruhi performa dokter di lingkungan rumah sakit. Penilaian kinerja dokter dapat dilakukan melalui evaluasi terhadap kualitas layanan kesehatan yang disediakan kepada pasien. Selain faktor-faktor yang disebutkan sebelumnya, kompensasi juga merupakan faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kinerja dokter. Kepuasan terhadap kompensasi, baik dalam bentuk imbalan finansial maupun non finansial yang memadai, dapat meningkatkan motivasi kerja. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor apa saja yang berpengaruh terhadap kinerja dokter yang berugas di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Dumai serta menganalis bagaimanakah pengaruh faktor-faktor tersebut terhadap kinerja dokter di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Dumai Komponen. Jenis Penelitian ini observasional kuantitatif analitik dengan desain Cross Sectional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Dumai pada bulan Juli s/d Agustus 2023. Populasi berjumlah 72 orang pengambilan sampel dengan metode total sampling. Kriteria inklusi sampel penelitian ini adalah berprofesi sebagai dokter. Data primer dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui pengisian kuesioner observasi dan wawancara data sekunder dalam penelitian ini diperoleh dari dokumen-dokumen yang ada di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Dumai. Analisis Data Analisis multivariat. Hasil penelitian didapat motivasi dengan kinerja dokter dengan P value = 0,002 dan POR = 3,667, Kompetensi dengan kinerja dokter dengan P value = 0,015 dan POR = 1,372. Kesimpulan ada pengaruh motivasi dengan kinerja dokter di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Dumai, dan ada pengaruh kompetensi dengan kinerja dokter di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah Kota Dumai.

Background: The spectrum of dengue infection ranges from asymptomatic or mild to severe disease. The pathogenic mechanisms are not fully understood. A viral infection can induce the neutrophil extracellular traps (NETs), and the excessive NETs lead to increased vascular permeability, coagulopathy, and platelet dysfunction, a hallmark of severe dengue. Methods: To evaluate the association of NETs formation with disease severity using a human public transcriptomic dataset (GSE17924) and clinical samples from dengue patients with different disease severity. Results: Based on the transcriptomic analysis, the whole blood gene expression functional in neutrophil activities and NETs formation was upregulated with dengue disease severity. The serum concentration of citrullinated histone H3 (CitH3), a NETs marker, was measured in 28 dengue patients, of whom 18 classified as dengue fever (DF) and 10 as dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) grade 1 and 2. A significantly higher CitH3 concentration was found in DHF com­pared to DF patients. The level of CitH3 was negatively correlated with platelet counts. Conclusion: Our results suggest NETs have contributed to the disease severity of dengue infection. Future studies on the predictive value of NETs markers and the potential NETs as a targeted therapy in dengue disease should be priori­tized.

Malaria, caused by Plasmodium parasites and transmitted through Anopheles mosquitoes, remains a formidable global health challenge. This abstract provides an overview of the intricate molecular mechanisms underlying malaria pathogenesis, explores current therapeutic approaches, and highlights emerging insights that may shape future strategies for malaria control. The intricate dance between Plasmodium parasites and their human hosts begins with the mosquito’s bite, leading to the invasion of erythrocytes by Plasmodium species. We delve into the molecular mechanisms governing parasite entry and subsequent replication within host cells, shedding light on key factors such as erythrocyte surface receptors and parasite-encoded proteins critical to invasion and survival. While malaria treatment has relied heavily on antimalarial drugs, the emergence of drug resistance necessitates ongoing exploration of novel therapeutic strategies. This abstract reviews current antimalarial drug classes, their mechanisms of action, and the challenges posed by drug resistance. We also highlight promising drug candidates and innovative approaches in the pipeline, including the use of advanced molecular techniques and immunotherapies. Emerging insights from genomics, proteomics, and transcriptomics have deepened our understanding of Plasmodium biology and host-parasite interactions. We discuss the potential of these omics approaches in identifying new drug targets, understanding drug resistance mechanisms, and developing vaccines. Additionally, we examine the role of human genetics in influencing susceptibility to malaria and response to treatment. Vector control remains a critical component of malaria prevention. We touch upon emerging strategies, such as genetically modified mosquitoes and novel insecticides, in the context of integrated vector management programs. Finally, we emphasize the importance of a multifaceted approach to malaria control, combining advances in molecular biology, drug development, vector control, and public health interventions.

Character development for students means working on the nature of the educational cycle and outcomes that lead to the development of students' personalities and honorable ethics in a comprehensive, coordinated and adjusted manner, according to skills guidelines. One of the problems that occurs at the local level and in the school climate is the low interest of the local community (including high school/mama level students) in the waste problem. The method used in this community service activity is the lecture or socialization method, direction and education by researchers to provide information to Hosana Private High School students about the importance of protecting the surrounding environment and the school. From the results of the socialization and presentation about air pollution and concern for the environment, it appeared that students were very enthusiastic about listening to the presentation from the resource person. After the presentation from the resource person, a discussion session was held on these two topics. From the results of the presentation about air pollution by the resource person to students, it shows that students' knowledge about environmental pollution is relatively good, this is obtained from the average test score carried out after the presentation of 78 obtained from 40 students. Hosana Private High School students have used public transportation to reduce air pollution. Some students use public transportation (angkot), accompanied by their parents and cycle, which is an effort to reduce air pollution. Likewise, the behavior of maintaining school cleanliness has been implemented by students. This can be seen when the socialization event is over, students clean the room and tidy up the room that has been used.

Shooting is one of the essential abilities that military personnel must regularly train. One technology that can be applied to the military shooting sector is the Virtual Reality (VR) shooting game. This technology is a shooting training simulator for Military Personnel. This study compares the shooting performance of military personnel in both real and virtual environments. The researchers analyzed the learning curve of the shooting performance, measured the degree of reality, immersive level, and usability of the VR shooting games, and tested the potential application of the simulator. The result showed that the shooting accuracy and precision in real and virtual shooting conditions do not significantly differ. This means that using a VR shooting game simulator can represent the training conditions in the actual shooting range. The shooting speed in virtual environments is related to the stages of the shooter (position, breath control, aiming, and trigger control), which are influenced by human performance factors (shock, vibration, and gun explosions). In addition, the shooting performance when practicing virtual shooting increased significantly, proving a learning curve for adapting to virtual environments in the simulator. VR shooting games had a total SUS score of 81.1, categorized as Grade A usability or excellent usability. Based on the results of the Pearson correlation test, there is a strong positive relationship between the SUS questionnaire and Presence Questionnaire (0.908), SUS and Immersive Tendencies Questionnaire (0.802), and Presence Questionnaire and Immersive Tendencies Questionnaire (0.814). Good usability in VR shooting games positively influences the degree of reality and can make participants feel a high presence when shooting virtually. Thus, VR shooting games are appropriate to support military shooting training for military personnel.

Cilacap is one of several areas that experienced significant damage due to the Pangandaran tsunami in 2007. Currently, tsunamis are one of the most serious threats to coastal areas as they can cause devastation to the function of coastal areas. The physical environment can extensively affect the probability of damage caused by tsunamis. In addition, it is critical to maintain building stability as a substantial component in the integrated management efforts of coastal areas. The aim of this research is to assess the physical susceptibility and the vulnerability of school buildings to tsunami, particularly senior high school buildings (known as SMA/MA) located in the coastal area of the Cilacap region. This research is essential for the continuity of learning and teaching activities in the coastal area. Therefore, mapping the physical environment and school buildings in the coastal area of the Cilacap region is necessary. In this study, the physical approach method and Papathoma Vulnerability Tsunami Assessment (PVTA) model were optimally applied to assess coastal vulnerabilities to tsunami. Ultimately, the results were further evaluated by using cross-tabulation. The results confirm that specific coastal areas were categorised as having “moderate to high” susceptibility. Simultaneously, owing to the field survey, we determined that school buildings at this location were made of simple reinforced concrete materials. Notwithstanding that the vulnerability of the school buildings were low, the conditions were deemed to be reasonably harmful given that the schools were located in a “moderate to high” susceptibility. The results of this study have implications for the level of potential physical susceptibility of the coastal areas and the vulnerability of school buildings to tsunamis in the Cilacap region.

Superabsorbent polymer (SAP) is a polymer that has one function as an absorbent material in baby diapers, whose quality is determined by the number of swelling capacity (SC). Many previous studies regarding the effect of synthesis parameters on the number of SC were limited to the laboratory scale, where the polymerization conditions, the number of variables, and SC data obtained were very limited, in contrast to the industrial scale. The radical polymerization stage, with its accompanying operating variables such as reaction temperature, monomer concentration, retention time, crosslinker concentration, the addition of nitrogen gas, and initiator concentration, affects the value of SC in industrial-scale production. This study aims to analyse the correlation between the reactor operating conditions and the number of SAP SC obtained. Correlation data analysis was done using Microsoft Excel with Data Analysis Toolpak and Python by utilizing production data with a total of 1,562 entries, where the correlation between each variable was calculated using Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The analysis determined that the variables that had the strongest correlation with the SC were retention time and reaction temperature, with correlation coefficient values of 0.31 and -0.26. The weakest correlation was obtained from the addition of nitrogen gas and an initiator with a value of -0.07 and -0.02. Positive values indicate a relationship that is directly proportional, while negative values indicate an inverse relationship. Based on the correlation analyses and trends, the ideal polymerization conditions have been identified.

Phonological error analysis in this study is related to the pronunciation of sounds of language in communication. Given the importance of communication between speakers and listeners, it is imperative to conduct a study of the analysis of children with intellectual disability's phonological errors. This study aims to analyze phonological errors consisting of phonetics and phonemics in the vocabulary of children with intellectual disability in SLB (Special School) Insan Mandiri, Tanah Pak Lambiak Village, Padangpanjang City. The method employed was the descriptive qualitative method. The data collection method was the listening and speaking method called the Simak Libat Cakap (SLC) technique. The instruments were the researchers, 200 basic Morris Swadesh vocabularies, stationery, and recording devices (cellphones). Data analysis techniques employed were (1) classify, (2) describe, (3) analyze, (4) discuss or implement, and (5) conclude. Based on the findings, phonological errors generally occurred in the phonetic domain, especially in pronouncing vibration sounds due to an illness that inhibits the speaking process of children with intellectual disabilities. Several errors were found in the pronunciation of consonants and clusters in the phonemic domain. Therefore, constant attention, guidance, and practice are needed so children with intellectual disabilities can communicate well. In Islam, education is considered one of the important aspects of life. Thus, the principles of inclusion and attention to individuals with intellectual limitations should be applied to children with intellectual disabilities. The ultimate goal is to ensure that all individuals have equal access to religious education and moral values that are important in the Islamic religion.

This study aims to analyze development of an instrument that measures the level of readiness of Islamic Education (PAI) prospective teachers in conducting inclusive learning. The process was conducted by investigating three important indicators, namely: (1) motivation and value, (2) content-related, and (3) operational and pragmatist. The method employed was a non-experimental quantitative design which was considered a pilot test. Data were collected from 144 samples of PAI students who are prospective teachers from two private universities in Yogyakarta, and the tool used was a questionnaire which was analyzed using Rasch Model measurement software called WINSTEPS. Furthermore, it was used to determine the validity and reliability of items, respondents, and instrument. The results showed that development of readiness instrument in conducting inclusive learning using Rasch model consisted of 34 items with a coefficient of instrument, item, and respondent reliability of 92, 90, and 92, respectively. Therefore, it was discovered that instrument has good psychometric properties and can be used effectively.

One of the most significant effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic on adolescents is the learning system at schools or universities that switches online and the social environment limitation. The incapacity of adolescents to adapt during a pandemic can cause stress, which affects adolescents’ poor mental health. Therefore, efforts must be made to maintain adolescents’ mental health, including the provision of Spiritual Motivation Training and Emotion Regulation Workshops. The purpose of this study is to examine the effectiveness of Spiritual Motivation Training and Emotion Regulation Workshop in reducing stress levels, enhancing emotional regulation skills, and improving adolescents’ mental health. This study employs action research methods. Observation, interviews, the Stress Inventory Scale, the Emotional Regulation Questionnaire, and the Mental Health Inventory were used to collect data. This study used a mixed-methods design. The Wilcoxon Test and the theories of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana were utilized to examine the data. 11 participants in this study filled out measurement instruments before and after receiving treatment. Spiritual Motivation Training and Emotion Regulation Workshop were found to be successful in reducing respondent stress and enhancing subject understanding of the steps involved in implementing emotion regulation, but less effective in improving respondent mental health.

The formation of an optimal portfolio can be done with the Safety First Criterion method which is based on down side risk, namely the risk of causing a loss. The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal portfolio using Safety First Criterion method. Safety first criteria for portfolio selection are concerned only with the risk of failing to achieve a criteria minimum target return or secure prespecified safety margins. There are three criteria for the Safety First, namely Roy, Kataoka and Telser criteria. The results of this study formed an optimal portfolio with different risk values the Roy criteria is 0.0486, Kataoka is 0.0487 and Telser is 0.0527. So that the best portfolio of the three criteria is Roy's criterion because it has the lowest risk value with expected return the same.

Menulis merupakan aktivitas untuk menuangkan ide, gagasan, serta pendapat melalui tulisan. Bagi siswa SD, mereka sudah dapat berfikir logis atas pengetahuannya sendiri, namun mengalami kesulitan dalam menuliskan ide karena belum bisa berfikir abstrak sehingga diperlukan gambar nyata untuk membangun dan menghubungkan informasi. Salah satu metode yang membantu kemampuan menulis dan keaktifan siswa adalah metode field trip, yaitu siswa meninjau, mengamati, dan mempelajari suatu objek dengan cara berkunjung ke suatu tempat. Tujuan riset ini adalah melihat seberapa besar pengaruh Metode Field Trip terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas III di Kecamatan Rumbai Pekanbaru. Quasy Experiment Control Group digunakan sebagai jenis riset. Teknik pengambilan sampel terdapat dua tahap yaitu multi stage sampling dan purposive sampling. Hasil riset ini menunjukkan: (1) adanya pengaruh metode field trip terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen, dengan nilai rata-rata 90,05 dimana lebih besar dari kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata 68.55 dengan hasil t_hitung = 4,046 dan t tabel = 2,048, dan (2) adanya pengaruh metode field trip terhadap hasil belajar siswa dari t_hitung=3,621 dan t_tabel 2,086 dengan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,002

The ability to understand concepts is basic in learning mathematics, which is essential for students to have so that students can understand the concepts of the material being studied. This study thus aims to determine feasibility, improve the ability to understand the concept of fractions, and find out students' responses to contextually-based E-LKPD (e-student worksheets). This research was conducted at SDN Sepang with 32 students in class V elementary school as subjects. This study used the Research and Development (RD) method, with ADDIE (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation) stages. Data collection was obtained using questionnaires, interviews, documentation, and tests. The study results showed that (1) the feasibility of contextually based E-LKPD was in a very decent qualification with an average percentage of the feasibility of 86% for material experts, 90% for media experts, and 90% for linguists. (2) There was an increase in students' understanding of fractions after using the E-LKPD with an N-gain of 0.61, with moderate qualifications. (3) The average percentage of student responses was 83% in the small group test and 89% in the group test, with very good qualifications. Based on the trial results, it can be concluded that contextually based E-LKPD was very feasible to use and could improve the ability to understand fraction concepts and obtain excellent student responses. Electronic worksheets combined with contextual content could be an alternative to be developed in other conceptual learning.

This study aims to determine how the learning outcomes of the reward and punishment method, whether the provision of reward and punishment can improve the discipline and motivation of students and what forms of reward and punishment are given. This research uses a qualitative case study approach. This research is located in MI Ihyauddiniyah, Kecik Village, Besuk District, Probolinggo Regency, East Java. Sources of data obtained through observation and interviews. The resource persons in this study amounted to 6 people, namely the head of the Madrasa, 1 teacher, homeroom teacher for class V and 3 students. The application of the reward and punishment learning method at MI Ihyauddiniyah Kecik Probolinggo has a positive impact on students in terms of discipline and learning motivation. The forms of rewards applied at MI Ihyauddiniyah include; sincere compliment, memorial award, useful gift. The punishments applied at MI Ihyauddiniyah include: cue penalty, spoken punishment, corporal punishment.

This community service aims to enhance teaching abilities by using mobile learning-based comic page maker applications as creative learning media. The execution of this service required planning, implementation, and assessment phases of training. Fourteen instructors from Madrasah Tsanawiyah in Medan participated in this service activity. The evaluation instrument used survey percentages and was analyzed descriptively. This service showed that 71% of teachers understood and could use the mobile learning-based comic page creator application in class. In addition, teachers were enthusiastic about exploring innovative skills and became creative using mobile/mobile applications. By mastering this application, the teacher can convey teaching material more concisely through pictures and text so that learning objectives are conveyed properly to students.

Coastline Modeling Accuracy Assessment Developed By Using from Multi-Source Data. The coastal regions need to be developed because many big cities in Indonesia are located in these areas. However, it is crucial to determine the distance from the beach that is safe as the requirement for development along the coastal zone. The term of the beach is very closely affiliated with the coastline. The method of determining the coastline continues to be developed to fulfill the many needs related to the coastline. The coastline has a dynamic position. The land contour along the coast and the tide's state become several things that affect the coastline. Therefore, a dynamic model is required to define coastline positioning because both conditions are easy to change. The coastline determination from multi-source data modeling using DEM results is rarely done. In this study, coastline determination uses land height contours combined with sea depth contours and uses Mean Sea Level (MSL) value for vertical reference using the DEM model. The model's accuracy is tested by comparing the coastline delineation model and the Geospatial Information Agency coastline to test the DEM model generated before determining the coastline using this model as the reference. Based on this study, the compared shoreline models and delineation have gaps. This gap might be influenced by the data source, the model's resolution, and the data collection method.

The aims of this study are to (1) describe the implementation process of the package C pursuit discussion learning method in PKBM Bina Warga, Pangkalan District, Karawang Regency; (2) Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors of the implementation of the package C pursuit discussion learning method at PKBM Bina Warga, Pangkalan District, Karawang Regency. In this study, the author uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. This research was conducted at PKBM Bina Warga, Pangkalan District, Karawang Regency. The subjects of this study consisted of: (1) the source of information consisted of three respondents, namely one manager of PKBM Bina Warga, and two tutors, (2) the source of the informant consisted of two learning residents. Determination of the subject using purposive sampling technique. Research data obtained through data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation studies. The research stages use the orientation stage, the exploration stage, and the member check stage. Data analysis was carried out using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the interviews obtained show that in the process of implementing group discussions there are steps that must be carried out, namely (1) determining the teaching materials to be discussed, (2) determining discussion groups and the number of participants in group discussions, (3) determining the time of discussion activities. groups, (4) reflection of each group from the results of the discussion, (5) conclude and explain the results of the discussion. Factors that can affect the learning process of group discussions are divided into 2, namely internal and external factors. Internal factors include interests, talents, awareness, interest and attention. Then external factors include tutors, the environment as well as the facilities and infrastructure available during the learning process.

Learning chemistry requires practicum which functions to enrich understanding of chemical materials. Practical practice should ideally be carried out in a laboratory as a representative place to produce accurate and precise data using validated practical instructions. This study aims to create a chemistry practicum guide that is designed to be carried out at home with facilities around the house so that it can function to train student independence. This research is a product development research in the form of using model Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE). The resulting product was validated by 6 material and media expert validators and then tested limited to 15 chemistry teacher candidate students. The results showed that the practicum instructions obtained an Aikens score of 0.9 from the validator, which means they are valid and feasible to try out. Then after conducting trials and student responses, a response of 86% was obtained in the very good category. Based on the values from the validator and limited trials, these practical instructions can be used by prospective Chemistry teachers in teaching in the classroom and at home.

AbstractSign language is a unique language that relies heavily on visual communication, body language, and lip movements, and is often supplemented with voice. For individuals with special needs, such as deaf students in schools for the deaf, learning this language is essential. However, to effectively teach sign language, teachers require specialized strategies that cater to the unique learning needs of their students. To address this need, this research used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research method to describe sign language learning strategies for students in schools for the deaf in Jakarta. Data were collected from five students and ten teachers at schools through interviews and observations. The results showed that teachers use three main strategies for teaching sign language to deaf students, including (1) the speech method, comprising spoken language and signing, and (2) the manual method, consisting of only sign language. These two methods were frequently utilized and contributed to the proficiency of students and their active participation in classroom learning. In conclusion, the research provides valuable insights into the teaching strategies used for sign language instruction and emphasizes the importance of using specialized strategies to effectively teach this language to individuals with special needs.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk malakukan pendampingan pengembangan keterampilan pengembangan media BK interaktif pada kurikulum merdeka belajar bagi guru SMP di Kabupaten Lahat. Pelatihan pengembangan pengembangan media BK pada kurikulum merdeka belajar bagi guru SMP di Kabupaten Lahat ini dilakukan dengan pendampingan teknis dan workshop. Kegiatan Pendampingan ini diawali dengan memberikan guru SMP di Kabupaten Lahat ini pengetahuan mengenai konsep-konsep media BK. Sasaran dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah 25 guru SMP di Kabupaten Lahat. Hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan diketahui skor N Gain sebesar 0,74 artinya peningkatan pengetahuan guru mencapai kategori tinggi. Peningkatan pengetahuan juga didukung oleh media yang telah dihasilkan sendiri melalui pendampingan yang dilakukan untuk membuat media BK interaktif melalui aplikasi canva. Produk yang dihasilkan oleh guru SMP di Kabupaten Lahat dengan kategori sangat baik dengan persentase sebesar 91,2%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa guru SMP di Kabupaten Lahat dapat memahami dan mengaplikasikan pembuatan media BK pada kurikulum merdeka belajar.

Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) as an educational institution has an important and strategic role in implementing environmental education for its students so that it can improve students' environmental ethics as a form of support for the SDGs 2030. The purpose of this research is to describe the concept and implementation of environmental education in MI and its support for SDGs 2030. This study is qualitative, with field research being conducted in two MI, namely MI NU Rowolaku and MIN Pekalongan. Data obtained by using the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation The data obtained was then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's qualitative analysis method, which included data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and verification or drawing conclusions. The results showed that MI NU Rowolaku, which has not yet received the status of an adiwiyata school, already has a simple concept of environmental education, but its implementation is good enough so that its carrying capacity for sustainable development goals is classified as moderate. Meanwhile, MIN Pekalongan, which already holds the title of Adiwiyata school, has a clear and measurable concept of environmental education and excellent implementation, so that it has the carrying capacity for sustainable development goals in the high category.

Patients with protein S (PS) deficiency possibly have a higher risk of developing severe COVID-19 disease. Therefore, vaccination against SARS-CoV-2 infections is recommended for PS-deficient patients. However, there are limited data regarding the safety and immunogenicity of the currently available COVID-19 mRNA vaccine in PS-deficient patients. We report a case of monitoring the antibody response of a 40-year-old female diagnosed with PS deficiency and on warfarin treatment following a single dose of BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine. Antibody against the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 spike (S) protein (anti-S) was measured on days 7, 14, and 21 after vaccination. Seroconversion was detected on day 21 but was possibly lower than the anti-S level previously reported in healthy individuals after receiving the first dose of the BNT162b2 mRNA vaccine. There were no local and systemic events reported up to 7 days in this patient after vaccination. This case highlights that the administration of the BNT162b2 vaccine had a favourable safety profile, and the second dose of the vaccine is required to provide the optimal protection against SARS-CoV-2 infection in PS-deficient patients.

This study aims to explore the effect of training and suitability between individual characteristics (person-job fit) on increasing teacher competence in the digital era using a qualitative approach. Amid the transformation of education by digital technology, it is important to understand how individual training and suitability for work demands play a role in developing teacher competency. This research method uses in-depth interviews with headmasters of experienced teachers from various backgrounds at Madrasah Aliyah. The results of this study reveal that training has a significant role in enriching teachers' knowledge, skills, and understanding of the use of technology in learning. Teachers who attended the training reported increasing their ability to face technological challenges and optimize teaching potential in the digital age. In addition, the suitability of individual characteristics with work tasks in the digital era also influences how teachers can more effectively integrate technology in education. This research indicates that a combination of training that is tailored to individual needs and the degree of suitability to job demands can positively affect teacher competence. in the digital age. These findings make an important contribution to the development of better professional development strategies to support teachers in coping with educational changes caused by technology.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk, (1) Untuk menganalisis rancangan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL), (2) Untuk menjelaskan proses penerapan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL), (3) Untuk menggambarkan keterampilan berpikir kritis setelah dilaksanakannya pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Metode penelitian yang peneliti gunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Peneliti memilih metode tersebut karena sesuai dengan judul yang peneliti angkat. Sehingga hasil yang diperoleh dari wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi dapat dikaji oleh peneliti. Hasil dan temuan yang peneliti lakukan di SDN Kalideres 06 pagi terdapat rancangan kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas VA SDN Kalideres 06 Pagi sudah menggunakan model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Proses penerapan kegiatan pembelajaran juga sudah sesuai dengan sintak model Problem Based Learning (PBL). Peserta didik di kelas VA juga memiliki keterampilan berpikir kritis yang dapat dilihat dari beberapa indikator yaitu peserta didik sudah mampu menganalisis suatu masalah, mensintesis juga dapat dilihat dari pertanyaan yang diberikan peserta didik kepada guru yang mengandung pertanyaan HOTS, adapun peserta didik mampu menyimpulkan suatu topik permasalahan, yang hal ini dapat dilihat dari kesimpulan yang ditarik dari permasalahan secara utuh serta mampu mengevaluasi dan menilai.

Academic resilience is the ability of students to overcome challenges in the academic world. This study aims to develop a counseling approach that is valid and effective in helping students develop this resilience, considering the role of social support and their level of independence. This study examines the effectiveness of reality counseling in increasing students' academic resilience. Using a quantitative design, the experimental group received the reality approach group counseling, while the control group did not receive the intervention. Data on the level of academic resilience was collected before and after the group counseling intervention. The analysis results show that the experimental group experienced a significant increase in academic resilience, with a significance value of F =124.582 (sig) .000 < .005. The difference in effect can be seen in each group for the experimental group has a value of sig .122 > .005, so the significant effect on group 1 and group 3 is different from group 3 (control group) the value is sig .000 .005 between the variables of independence and social support does not significantly affect academic resilience. These findings indicate that reality counseling is effective in helping students cope with academic challenges more adaptively. Nonetheless, note the study's limitations, such as the limited sample size and other unmeasured factors. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that reality counseling can be used as a relevant intervention to increase students' academic resilience.

The purpose of this study is to do a comparative of the minimum cost of distributing mountea drinks using the exponential approach and the improved zero point method. The exponential approach method is a direct method where the allocation in this method depends on the number of zeros that appear in the transportation table. In the case of an unbalanced transportation problem, a dummy line (column) will appear where the cost on the line (column) is zero, which will greatly affect the optimum results of the given exponential approach method. The improved zero point method is an improved method from the zero point method, which is very useful for solving all types of transportation problems. This method provides an optimal solution without the help of other modified methods. Based on the results of the research, it was shown that the distribution cost of mountea drinks from the wholesale center in the Lunyuk sub-district using an exponential approach and an improved zero point obtained a cost of 10,392,276 Rupiah before the optimization, while the while the comparative distribution cost of the mountea drinks from the wholesale center in the Lunyuk sub-district after the optimization using an exponential approach and an improved zero point obtained a cost same of 8.552.560 Rupiah.

The notion of the Glycemic Index (GI) can be utilized to aid in the choosing of foods for a healthy diet, leading to low GI claims that have been commonly found in various food products. The convenience of the test subject could affect GI results, such as the type of reference food and how much of it to be consumed. Therefore, the goals of this research were to see if white rice (Pandan Wangi) could be used as a reference food and to compare GI result obtained from a different portion of available carbohydrate. The recruited subjects ranged in age from 21-36 years old with BMI of 18.5-24.9 kg/m2). Glucose measurement and sample testing (white rice and cookies) were conducted in the experiment. Overnight fasting was required of volunteers, and blood samples were obtained using One Touch Ultra Lifescan. There were seven points of blood sampling with triplication of glucose testing GI values were calculated with Incremental Area Under Curves (IAUC). The result means of GI were 74±16 (white rice), 60±24 (wheat cookies), 38±14 (NS-cookies), and 39±16 (HMT-cookies). The electrolytic cell is a chemical material with abstract and concrete concept characteristics. Students often need help learning this material, especially connecting concrete and abstract concepts. Therefore, media is needed that can facilitate students in understanding electrolytic cell material, which is made interesting by utilizing virtual reality technology. The purpose of this research is to produce chemistry learning media based on virtual reality with a feasible and practical MilleaLab platform. The research uses the ADDIE development model (analysis, design, develop, implement, evaluate). The product of this research is virtual reality-based learning media on the MilleaLab platform. The validation assessment from media and material experts with an error rate of 5% based on the Aiken scale obtained Vcount ≥ Vtable (Vtable = 0.87). Each value in the validation of media and material experts is 0.89 and 0.87 with the Valid category. The results of assessing student responses regarding the practicality of this learning media get 88% in the Very Good category. Based on these results, it can be concluded that MilleaLab virtual reality-based learning media on electrolytic cell material is a learning medium that is practical and feasible to use.

Introduction: Implant placement in the maxillary anterior area requires sufficient quantity and quality of both soft and hard tissue. In cases where soft and hard tissues are insufficient, additional regeneration using biomaterials is recommended. Treatment using bovine-derived xenograft and acellular dermal matrix (ADM) may increase bone volume and soft tissue thickness. Case and management: A 65-year-old woman sought help for discomfort and aesthetic issues with her denture, reporting missing teeth (11, 12, 13, 14, and 21) and bone volume shrinkage due to disuse atrophy. Intraoral examination revealed 1 mm gingival thickness. CBCT showed labio-palatal bone thickness of 6.0 mm, 5.8 mm, and 4.7 mm for teeth 21, 12 and 14, respectively. Implant planning and surgical guide fabrication were carried out before the surgery. Surgery included the placement of implants 3.3 mm in diameter and 12 mm in length, with the use of xenograft and ADM. Three months post-op, improvements in soft and hard tissues were observed, with a final prosthesis being a long-span implant-supported bridge. Conclusions: Disuse alveolar atrophy causes soft and hard tissue deficiency. The use of xenograft and ADM show favourable results even on a geriatric patient.

This study aims to develop a novel retention method combining the retrievability of the screw retention method with the ideal occlusal table and the aesthetic capability of cement retention. Coping was developed to have lateral screw access, allowing the screw to lock the coping using lateral forces from screw tightening and friction between the tip of the screw and the sandblasted surface of an abutment. Sandblasting parameters varied based on particle size. The results show a positive correlation to surface roughness and indicate a positive correlation to retention force. The highest surface roughness and retention force result was shown by groups that were sandblasted using 686 μm of aluminum oxide. Experiments on the tightening strength of 48 subjects measured in simulated conditions similar to the assembly conditions of lateral screw retention implants resulted in a mean of 69.75 Nmm with the highest and lowest values of 120.67 Nmm and 34.67 Nmm. This result became the basis of tightening torque variation. Each group’s retention capability is measured and compared to cement-retained dental implants. The results show that the tightening torque correlates positively with retention force, with the highest average retention score showed by lateral screws retained under a tightening torque of 200 Nmm—317.87 N higher than cement-retained screws.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses pengembangan, kelayakan, dan respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran feature video berbasis Adobe Premiere Pro. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE (anlysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation). Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas V C yang dipilih dengan teknik Sampling Purposive. Metode pengumpulan data berupa koesioner, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Penentuan tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis feature vidio berdasarkan uji validasi para ahli dan uji coba kepada siswa melaui angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan berdasarkan uji yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi sebesar 91,4% dengan 14 butir aspek penilaian, ahli media sebeser 95,7% dengan 14 butir aspek penilaian, ahli bahasa sebesar 93,3% dengan 9 butir aspek penilaian, serta respon siswa untuk pertanyaan ke-1 sebesar 82,35%, pertanyaan ke-2 sebesar 85,29%, pertanyaan ke-3 sebesar 100%, pertanyaan ke-4 sebesar 91,18%, pertanyaan ke-5 sebesar 82,35%, dan pertanyaan ke-6 sebesar 100%. Berdasarkan penilaian uji ahli dan uji coba tersebut maka pengembangan media pembelajaran feature video berbasis adobe premiere pro pada tema organ gerak hewan dan manusia kelas V di SD Negeri Sanding 2 sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.

Epilepsy is a disorder that is seen as a symptom due to disruption of electrical activity in the brain caused by various causes. Adherence is an important point in the management of epilepsy and suspected discomfort of side effects is a factor that supports adherence of epilepsy patients. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the occurrence of side effects on the level of adherence in the treatment of epilepsy patients. This research was analytical descriptive observational with cross-sectional study. Data was collected by accidental sampling method by giving questionnaires directly to patients who met the inclusion criteria in Arifin Achmad Hospital of Riau Province. Samples are 31 outpatient epilepsy patients. The results showed that the side effects that often occur are headaches with percentages 38,7% and fatigue are 38.7% and 29% while patients with high adherence are 51.62% and low adherence is 48.38%. The results is no correlation between side effects and adherence of epilepsy patients (p = 0.144 and r = -0.269).

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi kartun di sekolah dasar, 2) mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi kartun di sekolah dasar, 3) mengetahui respons siswa terhadap media pembelajaran berbasis video animasi kartun di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Research and Development (R&D) dengan menggunakan model 4D dengan tahapan yaitu define, design, development, disseminate. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu wawancara dan angket (kuesioner). Media pembelajaran ini melalui tahapan uji validasi ahli materi sebanyak tiga ahli, uji validasi ahli media sebanyak dua ahli dan uji coba produk. Adapun yang menjadi sasaran uji coba produk ini adalah siswa/i kelas V sebanyak 20 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata validasi ahli media sebesar 47 dengan kategori “sangat layak”, validasi ahli materi sebesar 45 dengan kategori “sangat layak”, respons pengguna sebesar 92.9 % dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa video animasi kartun dinyatakan layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran pada tema benda-benda di sekitar kita kelas V SD.

Antioxidants are compounds that can stabilize free radicals in the body. Free radicals are highly reactive molecules as they have unpaired electrons to interact with body cell molecules. Tomatoes contain flavonoids, saponins, solanine tannins, folic acid, malic acid, citric acid, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals, and histamine, which can be used as antioxidants. This study aims to evaluate the antioxidant activity of n-hexane, ethyl acetate, water fraction, and ethanol extracts of Tomatoes and to determine the greatest antioxidant activity between n-hexane, ethyl acetate, water and vitamin C. Tomatoes (Lycopersicum esculentum Mill.) was extracted using the maceration method with ethanol followed by fractionation using n-hexane and ethyl acetate solvents. The test of antioxidant activity to DPPH radical was conducted on n-hexane, ethyl acetate, water, and vitamin C. The antioxidant activity results, expressed by IC50 value to the n-hexane, ethyl acetate, water fraction of Tomatoes fruit, were 4.4603 ppm; 4.0868 ppm; and 4.0527 ppm, respectively. Thus, the greatest antioxidant activity was the water fraction.

Latar belakang permasalahan penelitian ini adalah pembelajaran di masa pandemi yang mewajibkan sekolah untuk melaksankaan pembelajaran jarak jauh ataupun daring. Namun tidak semua sekolah bisa melaksankan pembelajaran daring, dikarenakan mengalami beberapa masalah sehingga pembelajaran jarak jauh atau daring tersebut tidak efektif. Kemudian diadakanlah kebijakan kepala sekolah dengan melaksanakan pembelajaran langsung menggunakan metode Home Visit sebagai solusi dari permasalahan yang sedang dialami, seperti halnya yang terjadi di SDN Serandakan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mendeskripsikan efektivitas dari kebijakan yang ditetapkan di SDN Serandakan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif, adapun jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Metode deskriptif yaitu metode yang berupayamengungkapkan keadaan yang terjadi saat ini, untuk selanjutnya dianalisis dan diinterpretasikan. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa kebijakan yang ditetapkan sudah efektif, hal itu dibuktikan dengan pembelajaran pada saat ini tetap berkualitas karena adanya pendampingan belajar di semester sebelumnya yaitu pembelajaran langsung dengan menggunakan metode Home Visit.

Tertiary education is a level of education after secondary education; it includes associate program, bachelor program, master program, specialist program, and doctorate program held by a higher educational institution. Through this higher educational institution, the students are taught to be professionals and experts in a certain area of discipline. Universitas Udayana, the oldest university in Bali, is one of the top universities in Indonesia that provides people with a high-quality education. One of the faculties in it is the faculty of mathematics and natural sciences which has six bachelor’s degree study programs, for example, mathematics program. This study program has three competencies, namely computational mathematics, financial mathematics, and statistics. Each competence has its respective applicant and the students have a certain consideration before choosing a certain competence. This study aimed to know the factors affecting the selection of a certain competence in the mathematics program in Universitas Udayana. The data analysis technique used here was the multiple regression analysis by modeling the dependent variables and independent variables. This study found that that the prospect of a certain competence had the most dominant effect on the students’ decision in choosing the competence in the Mathematics program in Universitas Udayana.

The Indonesian government is trying to prepare the next generation of nations to deal with the globalization era; one of these is education. It was transformed in the application of Kurikulum 2013, in which the object of the learning process is more emphasis on phenomena or real events. But, the learning methods are still unvaried, and learning materials based on real-life problems are still not available, which creates a performance gap in the learning process. This research aims to cope with the performance gap by developing the saints, environment, technology, and society (SETS)-oriented module on petroleum topic and determine the students' response. The module developed in this research is done following a phase of the ADDIE developmental model. This developmental model consists of analyze, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. This SETS-oriented module has been trialed to 30 second-grade students of SMA Negeri 8 Kota Serang. According to validation and students' response, the SETS-oriented module developed is valid and got 87,37% of an average percentage of response, which includes great criteria

Background: Health care workers (HCWs), a high-risk group for contracting COVID-19 disease, are being prioritized to receive COVID-19 vaccination. A third dose messenger RNA (mRNA) vaccine, mRNA-1273 (Moderna), after 2 doses of inactivated vaccine (CoronaVac), has been used to increase the level of protection against SARS-CoV-2 among Indonesian HCWs. However, data regarding antibody response after mRNA-1273 booster dose are limited. Objective: To evaluate the receptor-binding domain (RBD) of the SARS-CoV-2 spike (S) protein (anti-S) titers induced by the third mRNA-1273 vaccine among fully vaccinated HCWs with CoronaVac. Results: A total of 90 HCWs with no history of SARS-CoV-2 infection and who had received the third dose of vaccination were included in this study. The mRNA-1273 vaccine booster was administered 6 months after completing primary vaccination with CoronaVac. After the third dose, the anti-S antibodies level significantly increased, from a median of 41.7 U/mL (interquartile range [IQR], 22.4-92.5) to 28 394 U/mL (IQR, 20 837-41 646) (p 210 U/mL was observed in all HCWs. Age was negatively associated with the anti-S antibodies level after the mRNA-1273 booster. Conclusion: The heterologous prime booster with CoronaVac and mRNA-1273 vaccine booster elicit a pronounced antibody response against SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Intercultural competence is a very complex concept with many levels and perspectives. The role of cross-cultural communication competence in the school environment is very important. The existence of students from various cultural backgrounds complements cultural diversity. Cross-cultural communication competence in this study refers to the objectives of: 1) measuring students' cross-cultural communication skills in classical guidance services; and 2) knowing the level of cross-cultural communication skills possessed by students. Questionnaire measurement involves five important aspects, namely 1) Attitudes, when interacting with other people; 2) Knowledge; 3) Interpreting and associating skills; 4) Discovery and interaction skills; and 5) Critical cultural awareness. This research uses descriptive quantitative survey method. The implementation of this research at SMA/MAK Palembang city consisted of 528 subjects. The results of this study are a) cross-cultural communication competence of high school/MAK students in classical guidance services is measured using a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability; and b) the level of cross-cultural communication competence of SMA/MAK students with a percentage of 57% is in the medium category.

Wilayah pesisir merupakan lingkungan dinamis yang dipengaruhi oleh interaksi atmosfer, daratan dan lautan. Demikian pula, posisi garis pantai juga selalu berubah karena komponen alami dan ulah manusia seperti erosi, gelombang, pasang harian, badai, dan pembangunan yang terjadi di kawasan pesisir. Dalam literatur, posisi garis pantai dapat diidentifikasi berdasarkan berbagai proxi seperti: fitur pantai yang diidentifikasi dari foto udara atau citra resolusi sangat tinggi dan indikator berbasis datum pasang surut yang diekstraksi dari survei lapangan. Penelitian ini mengusulkan suatu metode dalam memodelkan garis pantai berbasis datum dengan mengintegrasikan berbagai data batimetri termasuk data single beam dan multibeam echo sounding, Digital Elevation Model Nasional, data batimetri nasional dan data batimetri yang dihasilkan dari citra satelit. Metode stacked curve spline tension diterapkan untuk mengasimilasi berbagai data batimetri tersebut dan untuk membangun garis pantai. Berdasarkan hasil uji akurasi diperoleh kemiripan garis pantai yang bervariasi akurasinya yaitu garis pantai LAT memiliki tingkat akurasi sebesar 29.28%, garis pantai MSL sebesar 65.45% dan garis pantai HAT sebesar 47.48%. Variasi akurasi yang diperoleh dapat terjadi karena beberapa hal diantaranya minimnya data input kedalaman yang digunakan, kerapatan data kedalaman yang sangat bervariasi, perbedaan waktu perolehan data antara data yang digunakan untuk penyusunan Peta LPI dan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Meskipun hasil uji akurasi yang diperoleh masih kurang memuaskan metode yang disusulkan ini cukup menjanjikan untuk diadopsi sebagai metode alternatif dalam pembangunan garis pantai dan untuk mengatasi keterbatasan data, waktu dan biaya dalam penyediaan garis pantai nasional.

This study aimed to examine and analyze the effect of the Village Financial System, the Capacity of the village apparatus, and the internal control system has a significant positive effect on village financial reports inflation characteristics. In addition, it was also meant to test and analyze the influence of the internal control system as a moderating relationship between the Village Financial System and the Capacity of the village apparatus and characteristics of village financial reports. The samples of forty-four respondents. This study indicated that the Village Financial System, the Capacity of the village apparatus and internal control system, has a significant positive effect on village financial reports' inflation characteristics. At the same time, the internal control system shows no influence, unable to moderate the relationship between the Village Financial System and the Capacity of the village apparatus and the characteristic.

Knowledge of disaster mitigation is one of the must-have primary school teacher candidates. The research tries to identify the knowledge of prospective elementary school teachers about natural, non-natural, and social disaster mitigation. In this study, the teacher candidates referred to are primary school teacher of education department students at the University of Riau. The research method used is qualitative research. The research subjects were 69 elementary school teacher candidates. The data on disaster mitigation knowledge collected were: (a) definition of disaster mitigation; (b) type of disaster; and (c) disaster management procedures. The research instrument used was a list of interviews. Data collection using interview techniques, while data analysis using qualitative data analysis techniques. The results showed that the knowledge of prospective primary school teachers about the term disaster mitigation mainly stated that the notion of disaster mitigation is an effort to reduce or minimize the risk and impact of a disaster. The knowledge of prospective elementary school teachers about disasters has mentioned various types of natural and non-natural disasters. The knowledge of prospective school teachers in explaining disaster management procedures has provided answers about various disaster management procedures. The disaster management procedure that is most often referred to is flood disaster management. This study concludes that knowledge about disaster mitigation for prospective elementary school teachers is quite good.

Media is something that cannot be separated from a learning process. Variations in the use of media are necessary to make students motivated to learn. This research aimed to produce a product of animaker-based animation video. The type of this research was Research and Development (R&D) using the Borg and Gall model which had been modified by Sugiyono. This model consisted of six stages: potential and problem analysis, data collection, product design, product design validation, product revision, and product testing. The subjects of this study were 39 grade IV students of SDN Banjarsari 2 Serang. This product was tested to 20 students in a limited trial. Based on the results of data analysis, it was found that 1) the percentage of the average score from expert validation was 84.7% which was included in "very feasible" category; 2) the percentage of the average score from students’ responses was 92.72% which was included the "very good" category.
