Проведены экспериментальные исследования влияния температуры при атмосферном давлении и внешнего гидростатического давления при комнатной температуре 293 K на свойства фазового перехода в металлоорганическом координационном соединении со структурой 3D-хофмановского типа Fe(pz)[PtII(CN)₄]. Проведено експериментальні дослідження впливу температури при атмосферному тиску та зовнішнього гідростатичного тиску при кімнатній температурі 293 K на властивості фазового переходу в металоорганічній координаційній сполуці зі структурою 3D-хофманівського типу Fe(pz)[PtII(CN)₄]. The influence of the temperature at the ambient pressure and the external hydrostatic pressure at room temperature on the high–low spin phase transition (ST) in an organometallic coordination compound with 3D Hofman-like structure Fe(pz)[PtII(CN)₄] is studied.

Landslides have frequently occurred in last years, due to the disorderly grownth of the cities and the occupation of risk areas by the poor population, causing social, environmental and economic impacts. Urban areas in expansion move to geologically unstable areas and topographically inclined, such as the Basin of River Bengalas, located in the city of Nova Friburgo, mountainous region of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. This article aims to present the model survey to assess the susceptibility of the Basin of River Bengalas to landslides, which in january 2011, with the occurrence of heavy rains, caused landslides that impacted in the death of 429 people in city of Nova Friburgo. For the case study, several investigations have been made related to the areas of the basin, such as slope, soil conditions, lithology, land use and cover, vertical and horizontal curvatures. With this study it was possible to understand how the natural and anthropics elements of the basin are related to the local dynamics of the disasters regarding to their interferences in the induction of landslides, thus enabling improved public management of the Municipality regarding the use and division of land, from the identification of areas Basin of River Bengalas susceptible to landslides.

Методом поглощения света в оптическом диапазоне исследован фазовый переход высокий спин–низкий спин (ВН-переход), индуцированный давлением при постоянной температуре 300 K в координационном полимере Fe(3-Clpy)₂Pd(CN)₄ 2D-гофмановского типа. Показано, что имеет место полностью завершенный обратимый фазовый ВН-переход с давлением перехода P1/2 = 0.612 GPa и гистерезисом шириной ΔP1/2 = 0.082 GPa. Проведен сравнительный анализ параметра взаимодействия Г и изменения энтальпии ΔH, определенных для двух подобных по структуре и свойствам 2D-полимеров Fe(3-Clpy)₂Pd(CN)₄ и Fe(3-Fpy)2Pd(CN)4 (3-Clpy и 3-Fpy − галогенные производные пиридина). Установлено, что замена галогенного атома в лиганде не влияет на Г, в то время как существенно изменяет энтальпию и давление перехода. Методом поглинання світла в оптичному діапазоні досліджено фазовий перехід високий спін–низький спін (ВН-перехід), індукований тиском при постійній температурі 300 K в координаційному полімері Fe(3-Clpy)₂Pd(CN)₄ 2D-гофманiвського типу. Показано, що має місце повністю закінчений оборотний фазовий ВН-перехід з тиском переходу Р1/2 = 0.612 GPa і гістерезисом шириною ΔР1/2 = 0.082 GPa. Проведений порівняльний аналіз параметра взаємодії Г і зміни ентальпії ΔH, визначених для двох подібних за структурою і властивостям 2D-полімерів Fe(3-Clpy)₂Pd(CN)₄ і Fe(3-Fpy)2Pd(CN)4 (3-Clpy і 3-Fpy – галогенні похідні піридину). В результаті встановлено, що заміна галогенного атома в ліганді не впливає на Г, тоді як істотно змінює ентальпію і тиск переходу. The method of absorption of visible light was used to study high spin–low spin phase transition (HL-transition) induced by pressure at the constant temperature of 300 K in the 2D coordinating polymer Fe(3-Clpy)₂Pd(CN)₄. It is shown that fully complete convertible phase HL-transition with the pressure of transition P1/2 = 0.612 GPa and hysteresis of ΔP1/2 = 0.082 GPa in width takes place. The comparative analysis of interaction parameter Г and of change enthalpy ΔH was made, which were determined from experiments on the study of HL-transitions in two 2D polymers Fe(3-Clpy)₂Pd(CN)₄ and Fe(3-Fpy)2Pd(CN)4 (3-Clpy and 3-Fpy are substituted halogenopyridine) that are similar in structure and properties. It is found, that replacement of halogen atom in a ligand does not affect G, but substantially changes enthalpy and pressure of transition.

Методом анализа поглощения видимого света исследованы индуцированные внешним гидростатическим давлением при комнатной температуре переходы высокий спин–низкий спин (HL-переходы) ионов двухвалентного железа в высокомолекулярных 2D-соединениях с общей формулой Fe(3-Fpy)₂М(CN)₄ (3-Fpy – галогенные производные пиридина, M – допирующие металлы Ni, Pt). Установлено, что с увеличением радиуса иона допирующего металла растет давление перехода. Проведен сравнительный анализ параметра взаимодействия высоко- и низкоспиновых комплексов, определенного из экспериментов по изучению HL-переходов, температурно-индуцированных под давлением и индуцированных давлением при постоянной температуре. Анализ указывает на одинаковый тип взаимодействия спин-активных комплексов при HL-переходах, индуцируемых различными способами. Методом аналізу поглинання видимого світла досліджено індуковані зовнішним гідростатичним тиском при кімнатній температурі переходи високий спін–низький спін (HL-переходи) іонів двовалентного заліза у високомолекулярних 2D-полімерах із загальною формулою Fe(3-Fpy)₂М(CN)₄ (3-Fpy – галогенні похідні піридину, M – допіруючі метали Ni, Pt). The results of absorption spectroscopy study of the pressure-induced high spin (HS)–low spin (LS) transitions (HL-transition) of the Fe²⁺ ions in 2D isostructural polymers Fe(3-Fpy)₂М(CN)₄ doped by metal ions (М = Ni, Pt) of different atomic radii are given It has been determined that the pressure of transition at constant temperature increases with the atomic radius of a doping metal. A comparative analysis has been done for interaction parameters of high- and low-spin complexes, obtained from the temperatureinduced HL-transition under pressure and the pressure-induced HL-transition at constant temperature. The analysis shows the interaction of spin-active complexes under the HLtransitions induced by different ways to be of identical type.

Изучено явление квантового туннелирования намагниченности в соединении Mn₁₂O₁₂(CH₃COO)₁₆(H₂O)₄. Исследования проводились с точки зрения изучения влияния давления на поведение намагниченности при температурах ниже температуры блокировки в режимах field cooling (FC) и zero field cooling (ZFC). В эксперименте были измерены температурные и полевые зависимости намагниченности в интервале температур 300–2 K и магнитных полей 0–5 Т. Показано, что на кривых намагничивания наблюдаются скачки, связанные с туннелированием. Эти скачки отчетливо проявляются как при нулевом, так и при отличном от нуля давлениях. В рамках модели, учитывающей спин-фононную связь и поперечное магнитное поле, проведена оценка микроскопических параметров взаимодействия. Получено качественное и количественное согласие результатов теории и эксперимента. A phenomenon of quantum tunneling of magnetization in compound Mn₁₂O₁₂(CH₃COO)₁₆(H₂O)₄ has been studied. Researches were carried out from the point of view of studying the pressure influence on magnetization behavior at temperatures below blocking temperature in two modes: field cooling (FC) and zero field cooling (ZFC). In experiment, the temperature and field dependencies of magnetization in the temperature (300-2 K) and magnetic field (0-5 T) ranges were measured. It was shown that the steps connected with the tunneling were presented in magnetization curves. These steps are clearly shown at zero and nonzero pressure. Microscopic parameters of interaction were estimated in the framework of the model taking into account the spin-phonon coupling and a cross magnetic field. The qualitative and quantitative agreement of theoretical and experimental results was obtained.

Spin-crossover compounds showing thermal hysteresis exhibit magnetic and colourmetric bistablility, which is of interest for a number of applications such as information storage and optical displays. Mononuclear iron(II) complexes hold considerable potential in this field, and their cooperative properties may suffer less from size reduction effects than polymeric SCO materials because the coordination environment remains well defined throughout the material. In this thesis, 13 new mononuclear spin-transition materials based on the bapbpy scaffold are described. One of these compounds, [Fe(bbpya)(NCS)2], shows one of the highest transition temperatures (418 K) recorded among known mononuclear SCO complexes. Most interestingly, it keeps a large hysteresis cycle of 21 K in spite of its high transition temperature. Meanwhile, metal dilution study on [Fe(bapbpy)(NCS)2] clearly shows that the two steps and the hysteresis cycles of the SCO are two consequences of the same phenomenon: intermolecular interactions between spin-switching molecules. Finally, a new bapphen-based ligand bearing a 12-carbon alkyl chain at the back of the tetrapyridyl ligand was prepared, which allowed self-assembling the corresponding iron(II) complex on a highly oriented pyrolytic graphite (HOPG) surface. The stable and highly ordered 2D patterns observed by STM are promising for the future study of cooperative spin crossover at surfaces.
