Представлена характеристика ценного ботанического объекта «Меловые склоны к реке Провал», расположенного в окрестностях с. Бекетовка Вешкаймского района Ульяновской области, предлагаемого для включения в региональную сеть ООПТ. Приведены данные флористических и фитоценотических исследований. Во флоре урочища выявлено 287 видов сосудистых растений, в том числе 8 видов, занесенных в Красную книгу Российской Федерации: Hedysarum gmelinii, Iris aphylla, Koeleria sclerophylla, Matthiola fragrans, Pinus cretacea [P. sylvestris var. cretacea], Stipa pennata, S. pulcherrima, Thymus dubjanskyi [Th. cimicinus auct. p. max. p.], а также 30 видов, нуждающихся в охране на региональном уровне: Adonanthe vernalis, Anemone sylvestris, Asperula exasperata, Aster alpinus, Betula krylovii, Bupleurum falcatum, Carex pediformis, Centaurea ruthenica, Crepis pannonica, Delphinium cuneatum, Galatella linosyris, Galium hexanarium, Gentiana cruciata, Gentianella amarella, Helianthemum canum, H. nummularium, Helictotrichon desertorum, Herminium monorchis, Jurinea ledebourii, Linum flavum, L. uralense, Onosma simplisissima s. str., O. volgensis, Otites baschkirorum, Parnassia palustris, Polygala cretacea, P. sibirica, Pulsatilla patens, Scabiosa isetensis, Schoenus ferrugineus. Исследуемый кальцефитный флоро-ценотический комплекс урочища «Меловые склоны к реке Провал» характеризуется мозаичностью растительного покрова. Здесь на относительно небольшой площади представлены сообщества лугов, петрофитных и злаково-разнотравных степей, опушек сосновых лесов. Флористический состав этих обществ своеобразен и характеризуется присутствием большого количества раритетных видов, включая реликтовые и эндемичные элементы. Кроме того, в центральной части Приволжской возвышенности известно лишь небольшое количество эрозионно-меловых ландшафтов с высокой степенью сохранности. В связи с этим исследуемое урочище рекомендуется к включению в систему ООПТ Ульяновской области., The paper contains the vegetation study results of the valuable botanical object «Chalk slopes to the Proval river». The stow is located in the vicinities of the village Beketovka (Veshkaymsky District of Ulyanovsk Region) and is proposed for inclusion in the regional network of protected areas. The data of floral and phytocenotic studies are presented. The flora of the stow «Chalk slopes to the Proval river» contains 287 species of vascular plants including 8 species listed in Red data book of the Russian Federation: Hedysarum gmelinii, Iris aphylla, Koeleria sclerophylla, Matthiola fragrans, Pinus cretacea [P. sylvestris var. cretacea], Stipa pennata, S. pulcherrima, Thymus dubjanskyi [Th. cimicinus auct. p. max. p.]. The regional rare and requiring protection plants are Adonanthe vernalis, Anemone sylvestris, Asperula exasperata, Aster alpinus, Betula krylovii, Bupleurum falcatum, Carex pediformis, Centaurea ruthenica, Crepis pannonica, Delphinium cuneatum, Galatella linosyris, Galium hexanarium, Gentiana cruciata, Gentianella amarella, Helianthemum canum, H. nummularium, Helictotrichon desertorum, Herminium monorchis, Jurinea ledebourii, Linum flavum, L. uralense, Onosma simplisissima s. str., O. volgensis, Otites baschkirorum, Parnassia palustris, Polygala cretacea, P. sibirica, Pulsatilla patens, Scabiosa isetensis, Schoenus ferrugineus. Calcephitic florocoenotic complex of the stow «Chalk slopes to the Proval river» (Ulyanovsk Region) is characterized by a mosaic of vegetation. Here, in a relatively small area, meadow, petrophytic and grass-mixed steppes, forest edges communities are presented. The floristic composition of these communities is peculiar and characterized by the presence of a large number of rare species including relict and endemic elements. In addition, in the central part of the Volga Upland, only a small amount of erosion-chalk landscapes with a high degree of preservation is known. The studied stow is recommended for inclusion in the system of protected areas of the Ulyanovsk Region.

Изучение редких и исчезающих растений в дендрариях и ботанических садах является действенным способ защиты растений. Закон об охране природы в Российской Федерации действует с 1960 г. по настоящее время. Первый том Красной книги опубликован в 1977 г., в настоящее время, актуальной является Красная книга Российской Федерации, опубликованная в 2008 г. и посвященная растениям и грибам. Генетической коллекции дендрария ВНИИ селекции плодовых культур составляет более 280 видов, форм и сортов, представляющих 31 семейство, 56 родов в том числе 8 видов растений, занесенных в Красную книгу Российской Федерации. Объектами исследований, являются растения дендрария ВНИИ селекции плодовых культур, занесенные в Красную книгу Российской Федерации. Изучаемые растения относятся к следующим категориям редкости: 1 находящиеся под угрозой исчезновения: Acer japonicum Thunb.; 2 сокращающиеся в численности: Corylus colurna L. и Taxus baccata L.; 3 редкие растения, с естественно малой численностью: Betula Raddeana Trautv., Juniperus chinensis var. Sargentii A. Henry, Armeniaca mandshurica (Maxim.) Skvortz., Cotoneaster lucidus Schlecht и Staphylea pinnata L. Целью наших исследований являлось изучение морфо-биологических особенностей редких и исчезающих видов растений генетической коллекции ВНИИ селекции плодовых культур. В статье, приведены результаты многолетних исследований. Представлен анализ общего состояния, устойчивости к болезням и вредителям, степени цветения и плодоношения, проведена оценка декоративности объектов исследований. Выявлены виды, находящиеся в отличном состоянии, обладающие обильным цветение и плодоношением: Acer japonicum Thunb., Betula Raddeana Trautv., Corylus colurna L. и Cotoneaster lucidus Schlecht, высокой степенью декоративности: Acer japonicum Thunb., Betula Raddeana Trautv., Corylus colurna L., Cotoneaster lucidus Schlecht и Taxus baccata L. Красно-книжные растения, имеющие охранный статус и обладающие декоративными качествами, являются наиболее ценными таксонами, произрастающими в генетической коллекции дендрария ВНИИ селекции плодовых культур., Study of rare and endangered plants in the arboretums and botanic gardens is an effective way to protect plants. The nature protection law has been in force in the Russian Federation since in 1960. The first volume of the Red Book was published in 1977. The Red Book of the Russian Federation published in 2008 is relevant now and it is devoted to plants and mushrooms. The genetic collection of the VNIISPK arboretum has more than 280 species, genotypes and varieties that represent 31 families, 56 genus including 8 plant species listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. The plants from the VNIISPK arboretum included in the Red book Of the Russian Federation have been studied. The studied plants belong to the following categories of rarity: 1 plants under threat of extinction: Acer japonicum Thunb; 2 plants decreasing in number: Corylus colurna L.and Taxus baccata L.; 3 rare plants with a naturally low number: Betula Raddeana Trautv., Juniperus chinensis var. Sargentii A. Henry, Armeniaca mandshurica (Maxim.) Skvortz., Cotoneaster lucidus Schlecht. and Staphylea pinnata L. The task of the research was to study morphological and biological characteristics of the rare and endangered plant species of the VNIISPK genetic collection. The results of the long-term studies are given. The analysis of the total state, resistance to pests and diseases, degrees of blooming and fruiting is presented. The decorativeness of the plants has been estimated. We have revealed the species that are in excellent condition, with abundant flowering and fruiting: Acer japonicum Thunb., Betula Raddeana Trautv., Corylus colurna L. and Cotoneaster lucidus Schlecht. ; with a high degree of decorativeness: Acer japonicum Thunb., Betula Raddeana Trautv., Corylus colurna L., Cotoneaster lucidus Schkecht.and Taxus baccata L.. The plants from the Red Book that have the protective status and decorative qualities are the most valuable taxons growing in the genetic collection of the VNIISPK arboretum.
