Abstract

Writers and critics differed about the real beginnings of children's literature, so there is an opinion that it is ancient from the feet of man on earth and linked its appearance to the stories that were told in the past by mothers and grandmothers to their children, those stories that were mostly stemming from ancient myths and legends, but they were full of wisdom. Encouraging goodness, for example, Ismail Abdel-Fattah, believes that children's literature was found with the existence of morals, as mothers used to tell their children bedtime stories, and calm their beds with melodies and beautiful words, so it was wonderful literature, but it is not written.And this situation continued until this literature was known at the end of the last century. ۔ Children's literature existed in the past, but it was oral, unwritten literature, delivered to young children in the form of stories and bedtime incidents by mothers. Perhaps it is older than other literary genres because it coincides with the emergence of language itself and its association with forms of expression of human life, and simple expression is the one that represents innate life, and depicts human affection, the affection of things and parenting towards the child in a clear expression.Kamel Al-Kilani is considered the legitimate father of children's literature in the Arabic language, and the leader of the school of writers for young people in the Arabic language as a whole.He wrote about a thousand stories and dramas for children, whether translated, quoted or authored, and he wrote dozens of tracks, poems, songs and chants that fall with children from their infancy until they reach the age of youth.He wrote many stories and plays, in addition to pieces and poems for children.

29. Intercationic effect on biosorbent efficacy

Abstract

AbstractThe efficacy of the biosorbent coconut hust (Cocos nucifera) was tested for the removal of lead, copper, zinc, and nickel metal ions using batch experiments in multimetal solution system under controlled experimental conditions. It is found that metal sorption increases when the equilibrium metal concentration rises. At highest experimental solution concentration (150 mg/L), the removal of metal ions was 92.52% for lead, 79.55% for copper, 63.23% for zinc, and 68.10% for nickel, while at lowest experimental solution concentration (25 mg/L), the removal of metal ions was 94.80% for lead, 86.81% for copper, 84.63% for zinc, and 82.36% for nickel. Biosorption equilibrium isotherms were plotted for metal uptake capacity (q) against residual metal concentrations (Cf) in solution. The qvs. Cfsorption isotherm relationship was mathematically expressed by Langmuir and Freundlich models. The values of separation factor were between zero and one indicating favorable sorption for four tested metals on the biosorbent. The surface coverage values were approaching unity with increasing solution concentration, indicating effectiveness of the biosorbent.

30. Removal of Cd(II) onto Raphanus sativuspeels biomass: equilibrium, kinetics, and thermodynamics

Abstract

Raphanus sativuspeels (RSP) biomass for the adsorptive removal of Cadmium (II) has been studied. The effect of different experimental parameter like pH, temperature, contact time, and initial concentration has been reported. The equilibrium adsorption data were subjected to different adsorption isotherms (Langmuir, Freundlich, Dubinin-Radushkevich, Temkin, Flory-Huggins isotherm, and Brunauer, Emmet and Teller isotherms), for kinetic studies pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order, Banghams’s model, and intraparticle diffusion kinetic models were applied. The experimental results indicated that the adsorption of Cd(II) followed monolayer adsorption model and pseudo-second-order kinetics. The change in thermodynamic parameters like free energy (ΔG°), enthalpy (ΔH°), and entropy (ΔS°) was also evaluated. It was found that the RSPexhibits good adsorption capacity for Cadmium (II) from aqueous solution.
