Technological advances in tea production are critical to meet global demands for tea consumption. To illuminate differences in the scientific and commercial relevance of research programs between major tea-related research organizations around the world, we conducted a bibliometric analysis comparing the scientific outputs, including peer-reviewed publications and patents, of six major research organizations published between January 01, 2008 and July 11, 2020. For this competitive ranking analysis, we examined a number of papers, research topics, academic influence, capacity for development, capacity for collaboration, and capacity for technological innovation. Among the six research organizations, Anhui Agricultural University (in China) had the most publications, while the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Tea Research Institute showed a higher capacity for development. The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (in India) and the University of Shizuoka (Japan) both showed high academic influence, while the University of Shizuoka, Tea Research Association Tocklai and National Agriculture and Food Research Organization (Japan) showed a high capacity for collaboration. The Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Tea Research Institute applied for the most patents, while the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research applied for the most international patents.

The poor acoustic environment of the waiting hall of the high-speed railway station will result in poor passenger waiting process experience, and there is currently no research related to reducing the poor acoustic environment of the waiting hall. Based on this, this study studied the factors affecting the acoustic environment of the high-speed rail waiting hall from various aspects and used the image simulation technology to carry out the simulation analysis of the actual situation and focused on the analysis of the sound absorption materials in the waiting hall. At the same time, this study obtained the actual noise situation of the high-speed railway station through data collection and compared and analyzed the passenger experience of the high-speed rail hall under the influence of different factors. In addition to this, the reverberation time of the hall was controlled by establishing a corresponding model for analysis and selection and arrangement of materials. Then, the reverberation time was calculated, and the software is used to simulate the test. Therefore, before the project was completed, the reverberation time was theoretically controlled to a more appropriate range. The research shows that the method provided in this paper has certain effects and can provide theoretical reference for subsequent related research.

Hybrid lead halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have experienced a rapid development in the past decade and a certified efficiency up to 25.5% has been achieved. However, the presence of toxic lead component and the inherent poor thermal stability of the organic cations in the hybrid lead halide perovskites obstruct the commercial applications of their corresponding photovoltaic devices. Therefore, fabricating high-efficient all-inorganic lead-free PSCs is a promising direction. This review summarizes the related research progress, which mainly focuses on the structural and optoelectronic properties of inorganic lead-free perovskites and devices. In particular, the strategies for improving the properties and stability of Cs–Sn perovskites, as well as enhancing the photovoltaic performance of the corresponding devices are highlighted. An outlook of challenges and future directions regarding to all-inorganic lead-free PSCs are also proposed.

Just-Noticeable Difference (JND) is the minimal amount of signal change that the human being is able to perceive. The human has five major sensing organs,namely,eyes,ears,nose,skin and tongue,and therefore JND exists for the corresponding five signal modalities and their derivatives. JND can play an important role in many multimedia applications and services,because these imperfect human perceptual characteristics may be turned into advantages for relevant system design,development and optimization. This paper starts off by giving a general description for JND concepts and the related statistical processes. Then,existing computational models for visual JND,which represent the majority of the related research so far,are to be reviewed systematically,with both handcrafted modeling and machine learning approaches. Furthermore,research attempts will be surveyed for JNDs for audio,smell,haptics and gustatory signals,as well as cross-modality/media efforts. Finally,possible future directions and opportunities are analysed and discussed.

Parental and caregivers' hygiene-related knowledge, attitude and practice are compelling factors in the prevention of stunting and malnutrition among the aboriginal children in Malaysia, which are highly modifiable. This study was conducted to explore the knowledge, attitude and practice related to hygiene among primary caregivers of the under three aboriginal (known as Orang Asli) children community in Malaysia.A total of 166 primary caregivers of the under three children of the aboriginal community in Kuala Langat district, Selangor were recruited. Data related to caregivers', child's and environmental factors were collected using a validated and reliable questionnaire, with knowledge, attitude and practice being the dependent variables. IBM Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) version 25.0 was used to analyse the data. Pearson's correlation was conducted to identify the relationship between continuous data. Multiple linear regression analysis was performed to determine the relationship between knowledge, attitude and practice related to hygiene, as well as the predictors.The mean scores for knowledge, attitude and practice related to hygiene were 6.91 (2.12), 23.67 (3.16), 29.97 (3.55) and 43.05 (4.41), respectively. Significant moderate positive correlations were found between attitude and hygiene practice (r = 0.445, P 0.001). Self-efficacy was significantly correlated with attitude (r = 0.442, P 0.001) and practice (r = 0.557, P 0.001), with every unit increase in self-efficacy will predict 0.281 and 0.536 increase in attitude (B = 0.281, 95% CI: 0.126-0.435) and practice (B = 0.536, 95% CI: 0.348-0.725) scores respectively.Moderate mean scores for hygiene related knowledge, attitude and practice were observed in this study, with self-efficacy being a significant predictor for both hygiene-related attitude and practice but not knowledge. The self-efficacy of the caregivers should be sustained through continuous health education and counselling, to ensure improved hygiene practice. Future related research should consider the mediating role of self-efficacy on attitude and practice.

Ancylostoma caninum is one of the most important hookworms in dogs. A study revealed that the prevalence of ancylostomiasis in Indonesia is relatively high. However, cases of persistent ancylostomiasis in dogs were reported, indicating the possibility of anthelmintic resistance. The aim of this review is to provide an overview of the anthelmintic potential of plants preclinically against A. caninum based on related research articles. This review retrieved 14 articles from 2001 to 2021 investigating 19 different plants. Momordica charantia, Diospyros anisandra, and Citrus aurantiifolia hold a promising prospect as anthelmintic against A. caninum. This review found aspects of those medicinal plants that need to be investigated deeper to improve our understanding of the matter. In vitro results in this review have not yet been tested in in vivo trials, which are essential in determining the efficacy and safety of the use of these medicinal plants and also to justify its clinical application.

This article reviews on the administration of teaching Balaghah at higher institutions in Malaysia was done to: (1) identify past research on the teaching and learning of Balaghah in Malaysia, (2) locate gap within related research on teaching and testing Balaghah in Malaysia, and (3) analyse new issues regarding teaching and testing of Balaghah which can provide references in the future. This review used a qualitative method, involving data retrieval and content analysis. Among the analyzed documents include journal articles, dissertation, books, working papers and proceeding seminars. The result shows that a balaghah testing and assessment is not given adequate emphasis, and the balaghah test is still lack of application aspects. Based on this finding, the recommendation of this review is to develop an instrument as an model for Balaghah Test in Higher Education Level (UPBal). The large-scale rectangular pipe jacking technology has attracted more and more attention in the construction of urban underground pipe galleries, especially the problem of prediction and control of the surface settlement. Taking the pipe gallery project of Chengbei Road in Suzhou as an example, the settlement values of three groups of monitoring sections under the conditions of natural settlement and synchronous grouting are monitored, and the measured settlement values are compared with Peck formula and random medium theory. The results show that the Peck formula is more accurate in predicting the natural settlement within 1.5 times the pipe jacking width, while the stochastic medium theory is more accurate in predicting the settlement beyond the width. By comparing the field test and theory, the suggestions on the prediction of ground settlement of rectangular pipe jacking of large scale are put forward. The results of this study provide a basis for subsequent related research work and engineering applications.

The green turtle (Chelonia mydas) present in tropical seas, uses as a feeding area the coastal region of Peruíbe, has the skull as a relatively large and solid structure, and a strong jaw formed by the junction of small bones as it has very abrasive feeding. By applying scanning electron microscopy techniques, it was possible to identify the presence of a bone structure located in the hyoid in the ventral region of the skull along with the mandible of juvenile individuals of green turtles, and as there is no related research, it was necessary to perform a CT scan, decalcification and histology of the quelonian hyoid, to discover the morphological composition of this new structure, described only in the species Chelonia mydas. Thus, the morphology of the structures and its confirmation as a real bone, with characteristic of spongy bone, described as certobranchial II, was confirmed, thus helping researchers to seek other ways to understand the feeding processes of these animals that are going through a series of serious environmental problems and therefore perhaps having to change their eating habits to overcome the high level of pollution that we are finding in the oceans. RESUMO A tartaruga verde (Chelonia mydas) presente nos mares tropicais, utiliza como zona de alimentação a região costeira do Peruíbe, tem o crânio como uma estrutura relativamente grande e sólida, e uma mandíbula forte formada pela junção de pequenos ossos, uma vez que tem uma alimentação muito abrasiva. Aplicando técnicas de microscopia electrónica de varrimento, foi possível identificar a presença de uma estrutura óssea localizada no hióide na região ventral do crânio, juntamente com a mandíbula de indivíduos juvenis de tartarugas verdes, e como não existe investigação relacionada, foi necessário realizar um TAC, descalcificação e histologia do hióide quelónico, para descobrir a composição morfológica desta nova estrutura, descrita apenas na espécie Chelonia mydas. Assim, a morfologia das estruturas e a sua confirmação como um osso real, com característica de osso esponjoso, descrito como certobranchial II, foi confirmada, ajudando assim os investigadores a procurar outras formas de compreender os processos de alimentação destes animais que estão a passar por uma série de graves problemas ambientais e, por conseguinte, talvez tenham de alterar os seus hábitos alimentares para superar o elevado nível de poluição que estamos a encontrar nos oceanos.

Fly ash-based geopolymer concrete (FABGC) is a type of environment-friendly building material that displays remarkable mechanical properties and durability. It has the potential for extensive application in the field of civil engineering. This paper considers the related research on the microstructure and durability of FABGC to systematically summarize the results on its alkali-activated reaction, pore structure, and interface characteristics. The degradation mechanisms of FABGC in various corrosive environments are analyzed, and the factors that affect its microstructure and durability are discussed. It is observed that aluminosilicate gel produced by the alkali-activated process of FABGC has an optimizing effect on the pore structure and interfacial transition zone. An effective development of the microstructure can improve the durability of FABGC to a certain extent. At present, there is no consensus on the research conclusions on the microstructure and durability of FABGC. Therefore, further research is required.

he topic of biobanking has been anchoring in the world and Europe as well. The biobanking field today is characterised by heterogeneous entities that could be classified according to many different categories. This article aims to outline the process of the gradual embedding of the field of biobanking in the European Union (EU) from the point of view of the number of high-quality international research projects related to biobanking or biobanks as such. To identify these research projects, data from the European Commission's (EC's) database on research and innovation projects financed from Framework Programmes (FPs) of the European Union and the Horizon programme were used. It was found that the number of research and innovation projects in which biobanks played an important role more than doubled between 1994 and 2021. The highest increase in the number of biobank-related research and innovation projects occurred between 2002 – 2006 and 2007 – 2013. Several leading countries, in terms of the number of biobank related research projects, emerged during the whole period. The main actors were all countries of western Europe, characterised mostly by above-average performance in indicators such as GDP per capita, Human Development Index (HDI) or Euro Health Consumer Index (EHCI).

Background Theories are integral to a research project, providing the logic underlying what, how, and/or why a particular phenomenon happens. Alternatively, models are used to guide a research project by representing theories and visualising the structural framework of causal pathways by showing the different levels of analysis. With the rise in chronic and behaviour-related diseases, health behaviour theories and models have a particular importance in designing appropriate and research led behavioural intervention strategies. However, there is a dearth of papers that explain the role of behavioural theories and models in research projects. Aims The aim of this paper is to synthesise existing evidence on the relevance of health behaviour theories and models in research projects. Methods This paper reviews health behaviour theories and models commonly underpinning research projects in public health and clinical practices. The electronic databases, such as MEDLINE, CINAHL, and Scopus, as well as the search engines Google and Google Scholar were searched to identify health behaviour theories and models. Results Theories and models are essential in a research project. Theories provide the underlying reason for the occurrence of a phenomenon by explaining what the key drivers and outcomes of the target phenomenon are and why, and what underlying processes are responsible for causing that phenomenon. Models on the other hand provide guidance to a research project and assist in visualising the structural framework of causal pathways by showing the different levels of analysis. Health behaviour theories and models in particular offer valuable insights for designing effective and sustainable research projects for improved public health practice. Conclusions By employing appropriate health behaviour theory and/or model as a research framework, researchers will be able to identify relevant variables and translate these into clinical and public health practices.

Artificial metalloenzymes combine the inherent reactivity of transition metal catalysis with the sophisticated reaction control of natural enzymes. By providing new opportunities in bioorthogonal chemistry and biocatalysis, artificial metalloenzymes have the potential to overcome certain limitations in both drug discovery and green chemistry or related research fields. Ongoing advances in organometallic catalysis, directed evolution, and bioinformatics are enabling the design of increasingly powerful systems that outperform conventional catalysis in a growing number of cases. Therefore, this review article collects challenges and opportunities in designing artificial metalloenzymes described in recent review articles. This will provide an equitable insight for those new to and interested in the field.

There is currently no effective analytical method in colorectal image analysis, which leads to certain errors in colorectal image analysis. In order to improve the accuracy of colorectal imaging detection, this study used a genetic algorithm as the data mining algorithm and combined it with image processing technology to perform image analysis. At the same time, combined with the actual requirements of image detection, the gray theory model is used as the basic theory of image processing, and the image detection prediction model is constructed to predict the data. In addition, in order to study the effectiveness of the algorithm, the experiment is carried out to analyze the validity of the data of the study, and the predicted value is compared with the actual value. The research shows that the proposed algorithm has certain accuracy and can provide theoretical reference for subsequent related research.

Finding nature-friendly replacements for fossil-fuels based energy sources are considered vital, and such a task becomes critical for sustainable development. In this regard, hydrogen carries a significant weight potentially and becomes an essential driver in transitioning the economic sectors to carbon-free ones. While the world experiences this kind of transition with hydrogen, Canada appears to be among top ten countries conducting research, development and innovation activities extensively on hydrogen and intending to make hydrogen a key player in their green energy transition. In this study, the contributions of Canadian academic institutions, research centers and other organizations to hydrogen-related research, development and innovation activities over the last fifty years are studied and evaluated comparatively. A comprehensive literature search is conducted to identify the number of hydrogen-related research articles, books, dissertations, patents and funded projects affiliated with Canadian institutes. The findings are presented graphically and discussed from various perspectives. The conducted literature search results show that Canadian institutes have contributed to hydrogen research with a total of 112,454 scholarly publications from 1971 to 2021. During period, the number of hydrogen-related academic articles and books has become 108,437 and 2995, respectively. In the subject area of energy, the relatively young Canadian institution, Ontario Tech University, has contributed the highest to hydrogen research in Canada by producing about 11% of academic articles and about 27% of books, book chapters, and editorials in the subject matter field of hydrogen research and development activities.

Efforts to involve data science in policy analysis can be traced back decades but transforming analytic findings into decisions is still far from straightforward task. Data-driven decision-making requires understanding approaches, practices, and research results from many disciplines, which makes it interesting to investigate whether data science and policy analysis are moving in parallel or whether their pathways have intersected. Our investigation, from a bibliometric perspective, is driven by a comprehensive set of research questions, and we have designed an intelligent bibliometric framework that includes a series of traditional bibliometric approaches and a novel method of charting the evolutionary pathways of scientific innovation, which is used to identify predecessor-descendant relationships in technological topics. Our investigation reveals that data science and policy analysis have intersecting lines, and it can foresee that a cross-disciplinary direction in which policy analysis interacting with data science has become an emergent area in both communities. However, equipped with advanced data analytic techniques, data scientists are moving faster and further than policy analysts. The empirical insights derived from our research should be beneficial to academic researchers and journal editors in related research communities, as well as policy-makers in research institutions and funding agencies.

It is widely accepted that webpage layout is important for website aesthetics. However, knowledge is limited about which kind of webpage layout is aesthetic. In this paper, we conduct a large-scale analysis of 13,017 real webpages with different aesthetic levels. The results demonstrate that there are significant differences between aesthetic webpages and non-aesthetic webpages in several aspects of layout design, such as the position of objects and the average number of objects. In order to identify whether the web layout is aesthetic, we propose a novel Webpage Layout Aesthetic Evaluation model (WLAE) based on an improved Adaboost algorithm to automatically predict the aesthetics of a webpage layout. Experimental results show that our WLAE model is significantly better than other existing methods. Based on the feature analysis of 13,017 real-world webpages and the contribution of each feature to webpage aesthetic prediction, we have summarized 4 webpage design principles for webpage designers. Besides, a large number of real webpages collected by our team can be used for further research on webpage layout aesthetic design and/or related research.

The wide use and continuous abrasion of rubber-related products appears to be leading to an incredible release of p-phenylenediamine (PPD) antioxidants in the environment. However, no related research has been conducted on the pollution characteristics and potential health risks of PM2.5-bound PPDs. We report for the first time the ubiquitous distributions of six emerging PPDs and a quinone derivative, N-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-N'-phenyl-p-phenylenediamine quinone (6PPDQ), in PM2.5 from urban areas of China. Atmospheric contamination levels of PM2.5-bound PPDs were found to be mostly in pg m-3 amounts between 2018 and 2019. Urban vehicle rubber tire abrasion was found to probably contribute to the PPDs in PM2.5 and accounted for their significant spatiotemporal-dependent concentration variations. Furthermore, 6PPDQ, an emerging oxidation product of 6PPD in the environment, was first quantified (pg m-3) with a total detection rate of 81% in the urban PM2.5, demonstrating its broad existence. On the basis of the determined ambient concentrations, the annual intakes of PPDs and 6PPDQ for adults were not low, indicating their possible human health risks induced by long-term exposure. This study confirms the widespread occurrence of PPDs and 6PPDQ in PM2.5, showing that the pollution of such compounds in urban air should not be underestimated.

Various cosmetic perfumes have distinct fragrance residence times. Changes in the temperature of the surroundings can decrease thermal stability. Therefore, the determination of effective stabilisers for perfumes is indispensable. In this study, a thermogravimetric analyser was used to individually determine the thermal stability of three perfume fixatives added to the lavender essential oil. The apparent activation energy (Ea) was calculated using three thermokinetic equations: the Friedman differential iso-conversional, Flynn–Wall–Ozawa, and ASTM E698-18 kinetic equations. The thermal analysis test results revealed that trans-cinnamic acid exhibited the highest thermal stability among the four test samples. The final reaction temperature and the peak temperature of trans-cinnamic acid were approximately 80 °C more than that of lavender essential oil, which exhibited the lowest thermal stability. The Ea was calculated using three thermokinetic equations. The Ea estimation of trans-cinnamic acid was 85.2–95.1 kJ mol–1. In the thermal analytical experiments of the perfume samples, the sample of lavender essential oil with ethanol exhibited the highest mass loss derivative, which indicated that perfume fixatives added to lavender essential oils with ethanol increased the fragrance residence time. Accurate thermokinetic parameters of lavender essential oils determined in the experiment can optimise cosmetic perfume manufacturing processes and related research areas.

This study presents a systematic review of the literature on service-oriented manufacturing (SOM). Specifically, we focus on the impact of SOM on firm operating decisions, which distinguishes this work from previous reviews. This study proposes a classification framework for SOM research based on product flow, from its design to its final disposal. Although SOM has been studied for many years, most related research remains conceptual. Our criterion for choosing papers is that they must be relevant to practical problems. This review aims to provide readers a guide that will facilitate their search for papers in their field of interest. More importantly, we hope that this review can provide insightful managerial implications for SOM.

Tight glutenite reservoirs are widely developed in Bohai Bay Basin, East China. They are mostly huge thick and rely on hydraulic fracturing treatment for commercial exploitation. To investigate the propagation behavior of hydraulic fractures in these glutenite reservoirs, the geological feature of reservoirs in Bohai Bay Basin is studied firstly, including the reservoir vertical distribution feature and the heterogeneous lithology. Then, hydraulic fracturing treatments in block Yan 222 are carried out and the fracturing processes are monitored by the microseismic system. Results show the hydraulic fractures generated in the reservoirs are mostly in X shape. The cause of X-shaped hydraulic fractures in this study is mainly ascribed to (I) the reservoir heterogeneity and (II) the stress shadow effect of two close hydraulic fractures propagating in the same orientation, which is confirmed by the following numerical simulation and related research in detail. This study can provide a reference for the research on the fracturing behavior of the deep thick glutenite reservoirs.

White spot syndrome virus (WSSV) has become one of the most widespread causes of mortality in commercial shrimp farming due to its broad host range, rapid spread and high lethality. The tegument protein VP26, which is loosely connected to nucleocapsid and envelope, is one of the major proteins of WSSV and has an important role in the initial stages of viral infection. Recent research has emphasized the vp26 gene, the structure of the VP26 protein, and VP26 binding proteins. Such knowledge is required to develop VP26 immune adjuvant to control WSSV. This paper reviews the related research of VP26 to provide reference for the prevention and treatment of WSSV.

Implementation has always been a paramount concern of mathematics education, but only recently has the conceptualizing and theorizing work on implementation as a phenomenon begun in our field. In this survey paper, we conduct a hermeneutic review of mathematics education research identified as related to the implementation problematics. The first cycle of the review is based on examples of studies published in mathematics education journals during the last 40 years. It is organized according to five reasons for developing implementation research. The second cycle concerns 15 papers included in this special issue and is organized by four themes, as follows: objects of implementation, stakeholders in implementation, implementation vs. scaling up, and implementability of mathematics education research. The paper is concluded with a refined glossary of implementation-related terms and suggestions for future research.

According to the rapidly changing social structure and the characteristics of the times, the paradigm has changed from leadership to ‘self-leadership’. In existing organizations and teams, if leaders exert influence on team members to achieve organizational goals and improve performance, those members now have more opportunities to make decisions and to solve complex problems by themselves. Indeed, in recent years much attention has been paid to self-leadership. Not surprisingly then, there has been a good deal of domestic research on self-leadership, especially in the field of nursing. However, to date there is no research analyzing previous related research into the field of education. This study aims to analyze the research trends of self-leadership with a focus on domestic research in the education field, and to suggest implications for future research. For this purpose, 191 domestic research papers (academic articles published since 2005) were collected using the Academic Research Information Service and the National Assembly Library Search Service. All 191 research papers have been reviewed and classified according to analytical criteria, such as year of publication, research method, research field, research subjects and related variables. Our findings show that firstly, related research on self-leadership has been growing since 2005. Secondly, there was more research conducted using the quantitative method compared to research that made use of other research methods. Thirdly, concerning the subjects of study, university students were studied more than other groups of elementary, middle and high school students. Fourthly, regarding the analysis results on self-leadership related factors, 84.9% of the research involved diverse correlates. Based on these findings, it is necessary to continue studying self-leadership using various research methods, as well as to examine this research from diverse perspectives. Also, suggestions were made regarding self-leadership education designed within career education with a special focus on the various characteristics of the learners, along with lifelong education, in order to improve the self-leadership curriculum.

The world urgently needs effective antiviral approaches against emerging viruses, as shown by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, which has become an exponentially growing health crisis. Scientists from diverse backgrounds have directed their efforts towards identifying key features of SARS-CoV-2 and clinical manifestations of COVID-19 infection. Reports of more transmissible variants of SARS-CoV-2 also raise concerns over the possibility of an explosive trajectory of the pandemic, so scientific attention should focus on developing new weapons to help win the fight against coronaviruses that may undergo further mutations in the future. Drosophila melanogaster offers a powerful and potential in vivo model that can significantly increase the efficiency of drug screening for viral and bacterial infections. Thanks to its genes with functional human homologs, Drosophila could play a significant role in such gene-editing studies geared towards designing vaccines and antiviral drugs for COVID-19. It can also help rectify current drawbacks of CRISPR-based therapeutics like off-target effects and delivery issues, representing another momentous step forward in healthcare. This study aims to criticize village fund reporting by using qualitative approach. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of literature related to village fund as well as related research journals. Descriptive analysis method as an analyst tool. The results of the analysis showed that the reporting of village funds in accordance with the regulation of the minister of home affairs number 113 of 2014 concerning the reporting of village funds but not in accordance with the prevailing government accounting standards, other findings indicate a late reporting process, the existence of interfensions in the use and reporting of village funds, obstacles to infrastructure and human resources are lacking. The existence of village funds is very beneficial for the village government in development. Reporting must be consistent with higher regulations, the need for specific reporting for village funds, as well as increased community supervision and participation roles.

Nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a chronic liver disease with a pathogenesis that has not been fully elucidated. With the development of the theory of the gut-liver axis and the deepening of related research, the role of the intestinal tract in the pathogenesis of NAFLD has been investigated more. Intestinal microbiota, intestinal metabolites, and intestinal epithelial and immune-based barriers constitute the intestinal environment, which uses crosstalk to maintain the homeostasis of the intestinal environment. This paper reviews the progress in the study of intestinal microbiota, intestinal environment, and NAFLD and suggests that repair of intestinal functional balance may be a new idea for early prevention and intervention of NAFLD.

Recently, the technology of assisting the navigation of visually impaired persons with computer vision has been greatly developed. A number of scholars have conducted related research, including indoor and outdoor object detection for blind people. However, there are still problems with some existing methods or datasets. Our work mainly proposes a dataset (OD) for assisting the detection and recognition of outdoor obstacles for blind people on blind sidewalk. We classify some common obstacles, train the dataset with state-of-the-art detectors to obtain detection models, and then analyze and compare these models in detail. s The translation from the source language into the target language cannot be exact equivalents as both languages are widely different in structure and cultural background. One of the rules in doing the translation is about the shift. This study was carried out to examine the category shift of the translation of Surah Ibrahim verses 1-52. The data collection uses the source text (English text) and targets text (Indonesian text) from the Quran. The step of this research is to scan all English words (ST) and their Indonesian translation (TT) instead of, according to Catford's theory (1965: 76) ) Identify category transfers. These transfers are divided into structural transfers, class transfers, unit transfers, and intra-system transfers. The dominant category shift results are Unit Shift (46, 71%); Structure Shift with 16,78%; Intra System Shift with the percentage of 16,45%. It was found that several combinations of the category shifts were Unit Shift + Intra System Shift, Unit Shift + Class Shift, Unit Shift + Structure Shift, and Intra System Shift + Structure Shift with a low percentage. The findings of this study were not in line with the writer's previous research for the number of the kinds of the category shift and its domination. It is expected that this study can be one of the references of another related research.

Toddalia asiatica (L.) Lam., belonging to Toddalia genus of Rutaceae family, is a folk medicine in China used for hundreds of years. The whole plant can be used as medicine, especially the root that used to be applied in the folk. In recent decades, with the in-depth research from domestic and foreign researchers, it has gradually been discovered that the chemical components in T. asiatica are mainly coumarins and alkaloids. Its pharmacological effects are manifested in anti-inflammatory and analgesic, hemostatic coagulation, anti-tumor, treatment of cardiovascular diseases, etc. It has a wide range of clinical applications and significant effects on rheumatism, pain, wound bleeding, and bruises. Due to its important research value, in this article, the chemical compositions and pharmacological effects of T. asiatica are comprehensively expounded in recent years in order to provide a reference for the related research and application of this medicinal material, which were carried out through a bibliometric search using the Science Citation Index- Expanded (SCIE) database, web of science, Google scholar and Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and all that.

Enterprise Resources Planning has become one of the business and management applications that are believed to be able to improve the performance of companies and or organizations to be more efficient and effective. However, based on much research, the success rate of ERP implementation is questionable. Although the success of ERP implementation is often published in research, the failure rate of ERP system implementation is relatively high. Therefore, this study is to find out the problems and challenges faced by organizations in implementing ERP, by reviewing the existing literature on research on factors that influence the success of ERP implementation. The approach taken is to review several related research articles published in the 2015-2020 period from several publishers, namely Emerald Online, Science Direct, IEEE, and SAGE. The sample size for the last 5 years is expected to show the up-datedness of the data taken from the research article. New ideas that will emerge from this discussion are the main factors causing the success of ERP implementation for organization, so that they can be used to reduce the failure rate of ERP implementation in the future by proposing an ERP implementation model.

Karst ecosystems are formed by dissolution of soluble rocks, usually with conspicuous landscape features, such as sharp peaks, steep slopes and deep valleys. The plants in karst regions develop special adaptability. Here, we reviewed the research progresses on plant adaptability in karst regions, including drought, high temperature and light, high-calcium stresses responses and the strategies of water utilization for plants, soil nutrients impact, human interference and geographical traits on karst plants. Drought, high temperature and light change their physiological and morphological structures to adapt to karst environments. High-calcium and soil nutrients can transfer surplus nutrients to special parts of plants to avoid damage of high nutrient concentration. Therefore, karst plants can make better use of limited water. Human interference also affects geographical distribution of karst plants and their growing environment. All of these aspects may be analyzed to provide guidance and suggestions for related research on plant adaptability mechanisms.

Background: Summer camps can promote positive youth development. Unfortunately, racial, ethnic, and economic disparities contribute to inequities in camp participation and related research on marginalized youth. Consequently, it is not clear what types of camping programs work best for marginalized youth. Purpose: To conduct a quasi-experimental comparison of three summer camps described as experiential education camp (EEC), recreational camp (RC), and integrated didactic and experiential camp (IC). Methodology/Approach: Black and Latinx middle schoolers completed summer camps with the support of a community organization that also provided social-emotional learning classes during the school year. Findings/Conclusions: Dependent sample t tests and effect size comparisons on self-report collected before and after the camp showed that the EEC had small negative effects, the RC had neutral or mixed effects, and IC had positive effects. Implications: Overnight summer camp interventions can have a range of effects based on the type of activities and procedures. Outcomes may be improved by integrating didactic lessons with experiential education. Other explanations, such as positive behavioral supports and relationships with adults on the trip, could also account for differences in outcomes. Further research is needed to establish best practices for overnight camps to support the positive development of marginalized youth.

Conducting research on the quality of life of young people and the impact on it of such a significant factor as the youth labor market, as well as related research on the problems of state support for young people, require the use of simulation methods due to the incompleteness of information and poorly structured problems of such complex systems as the quality of life of young people and the labor market. The article gives a brief overview of the categories “labor market”, “quality of life”, “youth”, which is necessary to determine the content of cognitive modeling of the complex system “youth, labor market, quality of life”. The technology of cognitive modeling is briefly presented. The results of the application of cognitive simulation modeling to the study of the quality of life of young people in relation to the labor market are presented. An example of modeling is presented in the form of a corresponding cognitive map and a number of scenarios for the possible development of situations on it, which may arise under the assumed influence of various social and economic factors, as well as under the influence of regulatory and control systems.

Las zonas rurales tienen una deficiencia de suministro eléctrico importante, ya que las comunidades están alejadas de las redes de transmisión eléctrica, por lo que el desarrollo se delimita apresuradamente en estos lugares. En zonas de este tipo, donde se dispone del recurso renovable del viento, la implantación de máquinas eólicas o aerogeneradores puede representar una solución viable e inmediata al problema energético de necesidades eléctricas básicas. Los aerogeneradores están planificados para áreas con fuertes corrientes de viento para generar la energía, y los mismos presentan de manera más eficiente una solución viable e inmediata, especialmente para el problema energético de las necesidades eléctricas básicas. El diseño experimental propuesto se basó en la literatura existen sobre el diseño de palas para generadores eólicos tomando en cuenta las condiciones locales de áreas rurales de la República Dominicana que tengan las condiciones de viento mínima para que estas funcionen. Sin embargo, la indicación más significativa para seleccionar los materiales es la disponibilidad local. El diseño final presentado en las conclusiones es el resultado de una investigación teórica, una solución de ecuaciones matemáticas y un montaje experimental realizado en el Instituto Tecnológico de Santo Domingo, INTEC. Se espera que este trabajo sea un punto de partida para nuevas investigaciones relacionadas o mejoras al diseño actual en la República Dominicana.

That scientist is Prof. Lin Li, a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering and founder of the Laser Processing Research Centre at The University of Manchester, United Kingdom. Of course, this is only one example of Professor Li’s scientific achievements. As a pioneer of microsphere super-resolution lens, his team, in collaboration with Singapore colleagues, broke the optical diffraction limit in optical microscopic imaging, making real-time observation of biological viruses without interference possible. He also used lasers to synthesize new nanomaterials which kill drug-resistant bacteria while remaining harmless to healthy human cells, which led to the development and breakthrough of related research fields. We are much honored to have Professor Lin Li for an exclusive interview in which he recalls his years of scientific research experience and talks about the future development trend of laser material processing., A pioneer in laser material processing and super-resolution microsphere lens imaging, Prof. Lin Li’s achievements not only lead to advancing the scientific fields but also applications in our daily life.

Study design A prospective multicenter observational study. Objective To elucidate the efficacy of transcranial motor-evoked potentials (Tc(E)-MEPs) in degenerative cervical myelopathy (DCM) surgery by comparing cervical spondylotic myelopathy (CSM) to cervical ossification of the posterior longitudinal ligament (OPLL) and investigate the timing of Tc(E)-MEPs alerts and types of interventions affecting surgical outcomes. Summary of background data Although CSM and OPLL are the most commonly encountered diseases of DCM, the benefits of Tc(E)-MEPs for DCM remain unclear and comparisons of these two diseases have not yet been conducted. Methods We examined the results of Tc(E)-MEPs from 1176 DCM cases (840 CSM /336 OPLL) and compared patients background by disease, preoperative motor deficits, and the type of surgical procedure. We also assessed the efficacy of interventions based on Tc(E)-MEPs alerts. Tc(E)-MEPs alerts were defined as an amplitude reduction of more than 70% below the control waveform. Rescue cases were defined as those in which waveform recovery was achieved after interventions in response to alerts and no postoperative paralysis. Results Overall sensitivity was 57.1%, and sensitivity was higher with OPLL (71.4%) than with CSM (42.9%). The sensitivity of acute onset segmental palsy including C5 palsy was 40% (OPLL/CSM: 66.7%/0%) whereas that of lower limb palsy was 100%. The most common timing of Tc(E)-MEPs alerts was during decompression (63.16%), followed by screw insertion (15.79%). The overall rescue rate was 57.9% (OPLL/CSM: 58.3%/57.1%). Conclusion Since Tc(E)-MEPs are excellent for detecting long tract injuries, surgeons need to consider appropriate interventions in response to alerts. The detection of acute onset segmental palsy by Tc(E)-MEPs was partially possible with OPLL, but may still be difficult with CSM. The rescue rate was higher than 50% and appropriate interventions may have prevented postoperative neurological complications.Level of Evidence: 3.
