Ion migration spectrometry technology is an effective method for rapid detection of chemical warfare agents in the field. 63Ni source for poision alarm is a common ionization source because of its advantages of no maintenance and safe use. In this paper, the preparation method of 63Ni source for poision alarm was studied, and the activity measuring device and electroplating device were designed. The most important is to study the parameters of electroplating process, so as to determine the best electroplating conditions are temperature 20 ℃, current density 20 mA/cm2, pH 2-3, electroplating time 10 min. Finally, parallelism experiment and fastness test were carried out. The results show that the qualified rate of primary electroplating of the radioactive source prepared by this method can reach 100% and the coating and nickel sheet are firmly bonded. The radioactive source prepared by this method can meet the requirements of ion migration spectrometry technology.

Aim: To evaluate the prevalence and influencing factors of anxiety and depression symptoms in surgical nurses during the COVID‐19 epidemic in Anhui, China. Methods: A cross‐sectional, multic'entre quantitative study was conducted among surgical nurses in Anhui province. SAS, SDS and SSRS scales were used for the investigation. Data were collected between 3 March 2020 to 19 March 2020. Results: A total of 3,492 surgical nurses completed the survey. The average level of anxiety and depression of surgical nurses were higher than that of the Chinese norm. Levels of social support for surgical nurses were significantly negatively associated with the degree of anxiety and depression. Fertility status, participation in care for COVID‐19 patients, likelihood of being infected with COVID‐19 and social support were significantly influencing surgical nurses' anxiety degree. Similarly, these characteristics were significantly associated with the odds of depression symptoms in surgical nurses. Conclusion: These findings suggest that targeted psychological interventions to promote mental health of surgical nurses need to be immediately implemented. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) signaling is well known in bone homeostasis. However, the physiological effects of BMP signaling on mandibles are largely unknown, as the mandible has distinct functions and characteristics from other bones. In this study, we investigated the roles of BMP signaling in bone homeostasis of the mandibles by deleting BMP type I receptor Acvr1 in osteoblast lineage cells with Osterix‐Cre. We found mandibular bone loss in conditional knockout mice at the ages of postnatal day 21 and 42 in an age‐dependent manner. The decreased bone mass was related to compromised osteoblast differentiation together with enhanced osteoclastogenesis, which was secondary to the changes in osteoblasts in vivo. In vitro study revealed that deletion of Acvr1 in the mandibular bone marrow stromal cells (BMSCs) significantly compromised osteoblast differentiation. When wild type bone marrow macrophages were cocultured with BMSCs lacking Acvr1 both directly and indirectly, both proliferation and differentiation of osteoclasts were induced as evidenced by an increase of multinucleated cells, compared with cocultured with control BMSCs. Furthermore, we demonstrated that the increased osteoclastogenesis in vitro was at least partially due to the secretion of soluble receptor activator of nuclear factor‐κB ligand (sRANKL), which is probably the reason for the mandibular bone loss in vivo. Overall, our results proposed that ACVR1 played essential roles in maintaining mandibular bone homeostasis through osteoblast differentiation and osteoblast‐osteoclast communication via sRANKL. Abstract: Reaction of N-phenyl methacrylamide (N-phMA) with (ppy)2Ir(μ-Cl)2Ir(ppy)2 (ppy=2-phenylpyridine) in dichloromethane at the present of sodium methoxide at room temperature yields Iridium(III)-containing complex (ppy)2Ir(N-phMA) in which a N-substitued acrylamide was firstly applied as ancillary ligand. Complex (ppy)2Ir(N-phMA) can readily copolymerized with the commonly used N-vinyl carbazole (VK) for PLED materials in different feed ratios to generate a series of metal-containing polymers poly(VK-(ppy)2Ir(N-phMA))s whose chemical structures are well-defined. Investigations of thermal and photophysical properties indicate that these polymers are of interest materials for PLED. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]
