Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming a critical engine that powers a range of technology solutions. It is rapidly playing a vital role in supply chain and operations management. In this paper, we present a research agenda of how researchers and practitioners alike can study the potential adoption of AI-powered tools for benefits in the supply chain. We draw on the unified theory of acceptance and use of technology and suggest directions for research that leverage a mixed-methods research approach. Because these technologies are in a nascent stage and evolving rapidly, a mixed-methods approach will allow for a careful examination of potential features and how their adoption can be fostered, with specific benefits in mind. Ambidexterity in a business context has focused primarily on how organizations can strategically coordinate multiple, often competing tasks. Within the marketing function, ambidexterity has centered specifically on how frontline employees can best coordinate sales and service activities manifesting at the frontline. This paper systematically reviews the frontline literature to provide a framework that encompasses and reconciles the many forms of ambidexterity that arise at the frontline interface. This work identifies critical areas for future research to better unify the field, allowing for an inclusive understanding of frontline ambidexterity that encompasses any firm or firm representative involvement in the multiple routine and non-routine demands that emerge within a dynamic frontline interface. Notably, this review suggests a nuanced perspective of frontline ambidexterity, including three distinct forms that are labeled dueling, holistic, and synergistic ambidexterity. Thus, the objectives are to (1) assess the current state of the literature pertaining to a broader understanding of frontline ambidexterity, (2) identify classifications of frontline ambidexterity interactions that allow us to better understand the status of our knowledge base, and (3) critically evaluate this understanding to identify gaps and provide insights regarding extensive directions for future research in this domain. The ways in which privacy is understood, defined, perceived, and enacted are contingent on cultural, social, political, economic, and technological settings. Yet, privacy research is often criticized for not adequately accounting for these. A comparative perspective requires the contextualization of privacy through investigating similarities and differences across contexts. This article outlines the Comparative Privacy Research Framework, which involves (a) scrutinizing one's position (of power) and epistemological biases, (b) assessing the comparability of the object under study, (c) identifying and justifying meaningful units of comparison, and (d) reflecting on how these units of comparison interact in shaping privacy. Conservation governance requires inter-disciplinary approaches aimed at bridging science, management, and policy divides, which introduces capacity development challenges in developing countries. In particular, there is a need to establish how best to direct capacity development efforts in order to achieve long-term conservation benefits. To help meet this challenge, a deliberative-Delphi method was developed and tested in Namibia based on an integrated Delphi and workshop-based approach. Deliberative-Delphi involves rapid responses to questions followed by consensus workshops to agree emerging themes. The method was applied to researchers in the fields of conservation ecology, conservation governance, and futures thinking (FT) identifying and prioritising ten conservation themes over a two-day period. These themes were then aligned with Namibian conservation policy and explicated through literature review, providing a roadmap for capacity development interventions (through setting university curricula, research agendas, and future policy changes). Background: Research priority setting has the potential to bridge knowledge gaps, optimize resource allocation, foster collaborations, and inform funding directions for implementation science and practice when these priorities are properly acted upon. This systematic review aims to determine the extent of research in priority setting for implementation science and practice, examine the methodologies employed, synthesize these research priorities, and identify strategies for evaluating and implementing these priorities. Methods: We will conduct a living systematic review following the Cochrane guidance. We will search literature from six databases, the website of James Lind Alliance, five implementation science-focused journals and several related journals, Google Scholar, and the reference lists of included studies. Two reviewers will independently screen studies based on the eligibility criteria. The characteristics of the included documents, their prioritization methods, and outcomes, as well as the evaluation and implementation strategies, will be extracted. We will critically appraise these documents using the nine common themes of good practice for research priority setting, and synthesize data using a narrative approach. We will re-run the search 12 months after the original search date to monitor the development of new literature and determine the time to update the review. Discussions: By conducting this living systematic review, we will gain a comprehensive and dynamic understanding of the potential research gaps and hotspots in implementation science as perceived by researchers and practitioners. Background: Health Impact Assessment (HIA) advances Health in All Policies by identifying impacts of proposed actions on health and equity and recommending changes to address these impacts. Since the Gothenburg Consensus Statement in 1999, HIA has been applied to policies, plans, programmes and projects in multiple sectors and settings across the world. Despite demonstrated effectiveness, its use across the world is inconsistent with few nations systematically using HIA. In a global context of increasing health inequities, pandemics, climate change, and economic crises, HIA can help integrate health and equity into decision making. There is a need for research to support the ongoing evolution and development of HIA. This paper presents a research agenda for the field of HIA. Methods: We used a mixed method approach utilising insights of approximately 280 participants through an international online survey and participatory workshops. We compared priority areas of research identified through the survey, workshops, and literature review to inform the development of a research agenda. The team drew on their own positioning and experience as HIA practitioners and researchers to shape this agenda. Results: We identified four research priorities: (1) Institutionalisation - Sustaining and institutionalising HIA in varying contexts and levels. (2) Influence - Identifying mechanisms and strategies that can be employed to effectively influence stakeholders and decision making. (3) Equity and Participation - Analysing the role of equity, justice, power and participation in HIA, and (4) Methodology - Improving HIA Methods to understand the complex relationships between proposed actions, health and health equity outcomes and identifying what to do. We developed research questions for each theme. Conclusions: The research agenda advocates for sustained research and practice to strengthen impact and address knowledge gaps in the field. Functioning as a roadmap for both researchers and funders, it aims to contribute to a healthier and more equitable world. The rapid advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have ushered in a new era of innovative applications, while also prompting concerns regarding risks and adverse consequences. In light of the growing interest in comprehending AI's impact on society and its alignment with human values and needs, Human-Centred Artificial Intelligence (HCAI) has emerged as a potential approach to address questions and concerns. In this Systematic Literature Review, we aim to contribute to conceptual clarity around the definition, conceptualisation, and implementation of HCAI. The first part of our review addresses how HCAI is defined in the existing literature, culminating in a novel comprehensive HCAI definition. Subsequently, we delve into the identified constituent elements of HCAI, namely ‘purpose’, ‘values’, and ‘properties’. Purposes include augmentation, AI autonomy, and automation. Values relate to ethics, safety, and performance. Properties cover oversight, comprehension, and integrity. The third part of the review explores Human-Centred Design processes, methods, and tools and their applicability for HCAI. In conclusion, we discuss the characteristics and critiques of HCAI and provide a research agenda. The increasing role of algorithms shaping our use of communication technology—particularly on social media—comes with a growth of empirical research attempting to assess how literate users are regarding these algorithms. This rapidly emerging field is marked by great diversity in terms of how it theorizes and measures our understanding of algorithms, due, in part, to the opaque "black box" nature of the algorithms themselves. In this review article, we summarize the state of knowledge on algorithmic literacy, including its definitions, development, measurement, and current theorizing on human–algorithm interaction. Drawing on this existing work, we propose an agenda including four different directions that future research could focus on: (1) balancing users' expectations of algorithmic literacy with developers' responsibility for algorithmic transparency, (2) methods for engaging users in increasing their literacy, (3) further developing the affective and behavioral facets of literacy, and (4) addressing the new algorithmic divide. This paper examines the intricate relationship between innovation and Global Value Chain (GVC) participation, with a focus on Africa's increased integration into global networks. The study underscores the importance of National Innovation Systems (NIS) in fostering technological advancements and highlights the potential of GVCs to drive industrialization in African countries. Despite challenges like inadequate R&D infrastructure, limited financing, and human capital gaps, African nations have opportunities to leverage innovation for improved GVC integration. Using a systematic search and review methodology, the paper critically evaluates existing literature on innovation and GVCs, drawing lessons for Africa for improved GVC integration. It identifies key themes related to innovation, GVCs, and industrialization, emphasizing the role of both government and firms in facilitating successful GVC participation. The study suggests that strategic government interventions, such as coherent industrial policies and investment in quality infrastructure, are essential for GVC integration. Additionally, it advocates for African firms to adopt proactive strategies, including technology upgrading and export activities, to enhance their competitiveness in global markets. The paper concludes by highlighting the need for cross-border collaboration and regional integration to strengthen innovation capabilities and support sustained economic growth in Africa. Advanced technologies in industrial contexts enable the creation of virtual representations of the real world. In this context, the new technological paradigm of the industrial metaverse has become increasingly important. In an industrial metaverse, the entire production can be mapped virtually, which enables industrial companies to achieve greater efficiency through the early detection of errors or optimized production planning. However, owing to the novelty of this technological paradigm, there is little existing research regarding its sustainability implications. Moreover, there is a lack of standardized definitions and a missing identification of research gaps. This paper attempts to elucidate the term industrial metaverse through a systematic literature review followed by 17 expert interviews. It presents an initial conceptual framework based on the triple bottom line. Finally, the research agenda presents three propositions to explore the implications of the industrial metaverse for organizational and strategic formation in the future. Since the launch of Pokémon Go, augmented reality (AR) has been one of the main research areas within new technologies. Integrating digital elements into the physical world presents exceptional opportunities for different sectors, enabling enhanced interactions and experiences. This study conducts a systematic review of AR literature, highlighting the main theories, theoretical frameworks, and research methodologies employed. It also classifies the main types of AR devices and the diverse contexts in which they are applied. Through a comprehensive thematic analysis, four principal areas of current research are identified: (1) media characteristics and consumer outcomes, (2) psychological influential factors and outcomes, (3) AR app features and technology adoption, and (4) recommendations for implementation in the industry and advantages. Furthermore, the study provides key insights and introduces the consumer‐centered AR framework. The article concludes by proposing a future research agenda, highlighting prospective studies that can contribute from the perspective of the content, context, device, and consumer, as well as avenues for future research from a methodological perspective. Government procurement (GP) has evolved beyond a mere administrative activity and has emerged as a powerful policy instrument to guide industry development directions. The existing literature often falls short in providing an exhaustive interpretation of such a role of GP in the critical industry sectors. This study employs a two-stage approach, comprising database construction, filtering, coding, and statistical analysis, aimed at conducting a systematic bibliometric review of the studies related to GP to identify its functionalities, including promoting sustainable development, initiating new industry policies, and stimulating innovation. The most addressed industry sectors by researchers are manufacturing, food, agriculture, and construction. Environmental science is the most explored research field, and the circular economy appears as the most recent bursting keyword. The insights from this review identify research gaps and challenges, based on which the proposing directions for future research are suggested, including promoting a circular economy, the sustainable development of the healthcare sector, protecting sustainable supply chains, efficiency evaluation, the application of artificial intelligence technologies in procurement, and exploring inter-functional relationships in GP. Research question: The purpose of this scoping review is to explore the extant literature devoted to elite athlete activism, advocacy, and protest. Three research questions guided the study: (1) How has sports activism, advocacy and protest been covered in the literature? (2) What themes and topics are covered in the elite sport activism/advocacy/protest literature? (3) What are the research gaps in the athlete activism/advocacy/protest literature that could be organised in a future research agenda? Research methods: We conducted a scoping review of 151 studies, primarily sourced from four databases. Results and Findings: Attempts by elite athletes to bring about social and political change are increasingly visible and relevant in sport management. There has also been a commensurate proliferation of academic studies on this topic within research. However, there is no systematic review and integration of this scholarship to structure this topic. Results show that most research is American and focuses on a small number of highly publicised events. Results also highlight the interdisciplinary nature of the topic. More problematically, the terms activism, advocacy and protest are used inconsistently. Implications: This study helps researchers, practitioners, and policy makers to better understand the range of issues associated with elite athlete activism, advocacy, and protest. This article considers and reflects upon the mark that Ralf Müller made through his published research on project governance. From project governance to governance of interorganizational project networks, Müller, along with his coauthors, has made significant contributions to project governance literature. In light of these two decades of theoretical development, we compare and synthesize the key elements of project governance and network governance. We provide a model that integrates project governance and network governance and propose several main themes for future research, including investigation of network governors, network governance design, mechanisms and principles, and its impact on improved project performance. Objective: This research project sought to identify those subject areas that leaders and researcher members of the Medical Library Association (MLA) determined to be of greatest importance for research investigation. It updates two previous studies conducted in 2008 and 2011. Methods: The project involved a three-step Delphi process aimed at collecting the most important and researchable questions facing the health sciences librarianship profession. First, 495 MLA leaders were asked to submit questions answerable by known research methods. Submitted questions could not exceed 50 words in length. There were 130 viable, unique questions submitted by MLA leaders. Second, the authors asked 200 eligible MLA-member researchers to select the five (5) most important and answerable questions from the list of 130 questions. Third, the same 130 MLA leaders who initially submitted questions were asked to select their top five (5) most important and answerable questions from the 36 top-ranked questions identified by the researchers. Results: The final 15 questions resulting from the three phases of the study will serve as the next priorities of the MLA Research Agenda. The authors will be facilitating the organization of teams of volunteers wishing to conduct research studies related to these identified top 15 research questions. Conclusion: The new 2024 MLA Research Agenda will enable the health information professions to allocate scarce resources toward high-yield research studies. The Agenda could be used by journal editors and annual meeting organizers to prioritize submissions for research communications. The purpose of this systematic literature review study is to determine, evaluate, and examine trends in scientific publications on green leadership, as well as the degree to which this topic has evolved and been explored by scholars worldwide. This study explores the relationship between green leadership and environmentally conscious decision-making. This research examines, evaluates, and describes several debates and works of literature concerning the degree to which green leadership may persuade organizations to embrace environmentally friendly practices. The authors recommend that future studies explore more effective and applicable strategic frameworks for implementing the concept of green leadership universally, as this result demonstrates how the main points of the studies mentioned above attempt to explain the urgency of applying the concept of green leadership in the implementation of pro-environmental policies and the resulting impacts. Social issues, AI, and climate change are just a few of the disruptive focuses impacting science. The field of GIScience is well positioned to respond to accelerating disruptions due to the interdisciplinary nature of the field and the ability of GIScience approaches to be used in support of decision-making. This manuscript aims to start a conversation that will establish a research agenda for GIScience in an age of disruptions. We outline three guiding principles: (1) focusing on the relevance and real-world impact of research, (2) adopting systems-based thinking and contextual approaches and (3) emphasizing inclusive practices. We then outline prioritized research areas organized by what topics are important focal areas (Data and Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence, and Causality and Generalizability), and what approaches to science we should be attentive to (Impactful Open Science, Collaborative and Convergent Science, and through Diverse Participation and Partnerships). We conclude with a call to increase impact by balancing slow science with practical and policy-oriented research. We also recognize that while broad adoption of spatial approaches is a signal of GIScience's success, we should continue to work together to advance core knowledge centered on spatial thinking and approaches. Background/Objectives: Given the magnitude and urgency of the global antimicrobial resistance (AMR) problem and the insufficiency of strategies to reduce antimicrobial use, there is a need for novel strategies. Traditional, Complementary, and Integrative Healthcare (TCIH) provides strategies and solutions that contribute to reducing (inappropriate) antimicrobial use, preventing or treating infections in both human and veterinary medicine, and may contribute to promoting the health/resilience of humans and animals and reducing AMR. The aims of this study were to present the core results of a global TCIH research agenda for AMR and its added value to two existing global AMR research agendas published in 2023. Methods: A survey, interviews, and consensus meetings among network members, as an adapted version of the nominal group technique, were executed to develop the global TCIH research agenda. A comparison of the global TCIH research agenda with the two existing global AMR research agendas was performed. The TCIH additions to these two existing global AMR research agendas were determined. Results: The global TCIH research agenda adds to 19 of 40 research priorities of the World Health Organization (WHO) AMR research agenda 2023 and three of the five pillars of the WHO/Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO)/United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP)/World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) research agenda 2023. In addition, the TCIH research agenda adds two new research themes with four new research priorities and three new research priorities to already existing themes of the two global AMR research agendas. Conclusions: The global TCIH research agenda fits with and adds to two global AMR research agendas and can be used as an additional strategy to reduce AMR and (inappropriate) use of antibiotics. Purpose: The objective of this study is to determine the research areas with the largest numbers of publications, the most influential researchers, and research trends in Peruvian Universities. Methodology: A bibliometric analysis was conducted from the Scopus database by retrieving a total of 29,935 documents between 2008 and 2021. Findings: The study analyzed the scientific production of 93 accredited universities in Peru between 2008 and 2021, retrieved 29,935 documents, and observed an annual growth rate of 15% before Law 30,220, and 28% after. Medicine, social sciences, and engineering are the subject areas with the most publications. The study also found that Peruvian universities have contributed to 27 research areas. Peru, the United States, and Brazil were the top countries in collaboration. In recent years, "gazelles"—a small set of high-growth firms—have attracted considerable interest from researchers for their capacity to contribute significantly to the competitiveness of nations. However, in management literature, the research on this topic is still incomplete, and a broad but focused review is needed to understand the phenomenon fully. Therefore, the paper aims to analyse in depth the literature on "gazelles" published in the Business, Management, and Accounting and Decision Sciences fields, shedding light on opportunities arising from emerging research topics related to the phenomenon. In meeting this aim, the work is built on a systematic literature review, and Elsevier's Scopus database was selected and scanned to access publications. The analysis identifies in the sample under investigation the quantitative characteristics (temporal distribution of publications, journals included in the sample, and methodological approach adopted by authors), as well as seven main topics resulting from the qualitative coding process (performance, policy and employment, innovation, entrepreneurship, corporate governance and decision-making, human resources, and strategy). Finally, a comprehensive outlook and a critical analysis of the state-of-the-art research on these specific high-growth firms have been provided through the proposal of a conceptual framework. Corporate entrepreneurship (CE) is an essential concept in entrepreneurship research. Many scholars have shown CE theoretical and empirical implications for firms' survival, development, and growth. We use a systematic literature review approach to analyse and discuss 214 articles published in top-tier journals from 1985 to 2023. This review proposes a conceptual model and highlights that little attention has been given to discussing the role of context in the corporate entrepreneurial process.
