[Resumen]: El sector turístico continúa creciendo. Los residentes de la Unión Europa en 2017 han realizado 1,2 billones de viajes de ocio y han pasado 5,9 billones de noches en establecimientos de alojamiento. Además, el 62% de los residentes de la Unión Europea ha realizado uno o más viajes de ocio en ese mismo año (Eurostat). Dentro de este sector, han cobrado especial importancia las compañías aéreas, ya que han incrementado la oferta turística disponible. Por ello, en este trabajo se realiza un análisis de las principales compañías que operan en Europa y de su evolución en los últimos años. El objetivo es realizar un análisis económico financiero completo de Ryanair PLC, el cual muestre las características principales de la aerolínea "low-cost" y los riesgos de su modelo de negocio. Para ello, se han utilizado los datos facilitados por la propia compañía en sus cuentas anuales desde el año 2011 al 2017, por ser los últimos datos oficiales disponibles en el momento de iniciar el trabajo. [Abstract]: The tourism sector continues to grow. The residents of the European Union in 2017 did 1.2 billion leisure trips spending 5.9 billion nights in accommodation establishments. In addition, 62% of residents in the European Union have made one or more leisure trips in that year (Eurostat). Within this sector, the airlines have taken special importance, since they have increased the tourist offer available. Therefore, this dissertation will address a general analysis of the main companies operating in Europe and their evolution in the last years. The aim is to carry out an economic and financial analysis of Ryanair PLC, showing the main characteristics of the low-cost airlines and the risks of the model.
