19. Azospirillumbrasilense y ácido indol-3-butírico en el enraizamiento de tallos de palto (Persea Americana Mill .)

Abstract

The propagation of avocado plants by seed presents the disadvantage that the population obtained is heterogeneous and of variable productivity. Instead, those obtained through stems have homogeneous productive characteristics. In order to study improvements to propagation through stems, the effect of applications ofAzospirilum brasilense and indole-3- butyric acid (IBA), to the stem of the avocado, either independently or in combination, was evaluated. The experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design, with four treatments (A. brasilense, AIB, A. brasilense plus AIB, and a control) with five repetitions. Under laboratory and growth chamber conditions, grafting the nurse seedlings var. Villacampa with cuttings of the var. Topa Topa was performed. After the formation of the tissue union, the plant was kept in dark conditions to obtain ethiolate shoots. Theses stems were subjected to a scraping of approximately 0.5 mm deep in the basal part, where the treatments were applied. Then a layering was performed covering the etiolated stem with substrate. The variables evaluated were plant height and stem diameter, along with fresh weight of foliage and roots. The results showed that the combination treatment better promoted all variables, significantly exceeding the control. It is concluded that the combination treatment influences the rooting of etiolated and layered avocado shoots., La propagación del palto por semilla presenta inconvenientes porque la población obtenida es heterogénea y de productividad variable; en cambio, las producidas a través de tallos presentan características productivas homogéneas. Con el objetivo de estudiar mejoras a la propagación mediante tallos, se evaluó el efecto de aplicaciones deAzospirilum brasilense y de ácido-3- indol butírico (AIB), de forma independiente o en combinación, al tallo del palto. El experimento fue conducido mediante un diseño completamente aleatorizado, con cuatro tratamientos (A. brasilense, AIB, A. brasilense más AIB, y un testigo) con cinco repeticiones. En condiciones de laboratorio y cámara de crecimiento, se injertaron plántulas nodrizas de la variedad Villacampa con esquejes de la variedad Topa Topa; luego de la formación de la unión de tejidos, las plantas fueron mantenidas en condiciones de oscuridad para obtener brotes etiolados. Dichos tallos fueron sometidos a un raspado de aproximadamente 0,5 mm de profundidad, donde se aplicaron los tratamientos. Luego se realizó un acodo cubriendo el tallo etiolado con sustrato. Las variables evaluadas fueron altura de planta, diámetro de tallo, peso fresco de follaje y de raíces. Los resultados mostraron que el tratamiento con la combinación de los productos promovió el peso fresco de raíces y de follaje, así como del diámetro de tallo y de altura de la planta, superando significativamente al testigo. Se concluye que el tratamiento combinado influye significativamente en el enraizamiento de brotes etiolados y acodados de palto.
