In the Introduction are outlined some central questions relating to why there has been increased interest toward assessment, evaluation and testing in educational policy in the last 30 years, and what effect this may have had on pedagogy. I kapitlet används erfarenheter från undervisning, provkonstruktion och forskning om bedömning för att visa hur lärare kan använda bedömningsaspekter i sin bedömnings- och undervisningspraktik. Jag utgår från hurbedömningsaspekter används i bedömningsanvisningarna för nationella prov i historia och exemplen från de nationella proven används sedan för att belysa aspekternas användning vid bedömning av elevsvar och hur lärare på olika sätt kan implementera bedömningsaspekter i sin praktik. Denna mplementering diskuteras sedan utifrån olika bedömningsteoretiska perspektiv.

Sammanfattning Syfte: Bygg och fastighetssektorn står för en stor andel av de nationella utsläppen av växthusgaser. Studier visar att klimatpåverkan för drift och produktionsfasen är ungefär ekvivalenta. Majoriteten av produktionsfasens klimatpåverkan härstammar från materialen. Samtidigt som det behövs byggas fler bostäder behöver klimatpåverkan för denna sektor minska, för att uppnå bestämda klimatmål. För att klara av dessa utmaningar behöver isoleringsmaterial och deras påverkan belysas. Isoleringsmaterialet i en byggnad har som syfte att bibehålla värmen i inneklimatet genom att isolera mot ytterklimatet. Tjockare isoleringsskikt leder till bättre isoleringsförmåga och därmed lägre behov för uppvärmning. Dock leder ökad isoleringstjocklek till mer materialåtgång som i sin tur innebär ökad klimatpåverkan för väggkonstruktionen i sin helhet. ”Målet med studien är att klargöra hur olika tjocklekar på isoleringsmaterial av mineralull och cellulosa i byggnader påverkar miljön ur ett livscykelperspektiv. Samt att undersöka vilka marknadsandelar de ingående materialen har.” Metod: Studien har en kvantitativ ansats med fallstudie, litteraturstudie samt dokumentanalys som metod för att uppnå målet genom att besvara frågeställningarna. Resultat: Mineralull står för minst 50% av marknaden. De förnyelsebara isoleringsmaterialen har kring 2% av marknaden. Cellulosa är det populäraste isoleringsmaterialet av de förnyelsebara. Studien visar på att byggnaden kan öka isoleringen i väggar över det befintliga med cellulosa 813mm, glasull 268mm och stenull 176mm. Isolering i tak kan ökas med 938 mm cellulosa, 319 mm glasull och 214 mm stenull. Återvinning kan möjliggöra att tilläggsisoleringen kan ökas med 103–140% jämfört med hur isoleringsmaterialen avfallshanteras i dagsläget. Konsekvenser:▪ Mineralull står för en stor andel av marknaden, samtidigt som cellulosa enbart står för någon enstaka procent ▪ Vid bestämmande av isoleringstjocklek ur ett klimatperspektiv, spelar val av isoleringsmaterial och avfallshantering en betydande roll ▪ Hur stor klimatpåverkan ett isoleringsmaterial har begränsar mängden isolering som bör användas i byggnaden ▪ Klimatpåverkan för vald uppvärmningsmetod kommer påverka mängd isolering som bör användas i byggnaden Begränsningar: Denna studie är specifik för denna fallstudie. Resultatet kan ses som en fingervisning kring hur olika tjocklekar av isolering påverkar liknande byggnader. Ingen hänsyn tas till konstruktion och att minskat värmebehov leder till ändrade tekniska lösningar. Abstract Purpose: The construction and real estate sector are responsible for a large part of the national emissions of greenhouse gases. Study’s shows that construction and the usage phase has more or less the same climate impact. In the construction phase, most of the climate impact comes from the materials. At the same time as there is needs for more residential there is also a need for this sector to reduce its climate footprint to achieve national climate goals. More knowledge about insulation materials is needed to achieve these challenges. The purpose of insulation in buildings is to keep the heat inside and protect against the outdoor climate. Thicker insulation gives a better insulation and therefor lower demand of heating. Thicker insulation leads however to increased material usage and therefor higher environmental impact. “The purpose of this study is to clarify the environmental impact of insulation thicknesses through a lifecycle analysis. Recycling and market shares of insulation materials are analyzed as well.” Method: To reach the goal, the study uses a quantitative approach with case study, literature study and document analysis as methods. Findings: Mineral wool has at least 50% of the insulation market. The renewable materials have around 2% of the market, of these percent cellulose is the dominated insulation material. The study shows that the building in the case study can increase its insulation on the walls with cellulose 813mm, glass wool 268mm, stone wool 176mm. increased roof insulation with cellulose 938mm, glass wool 319mm, stone wool 214mm. Recycling can increase the amount of added insulation by 103-140% compared to landfill and incineration alternative. Implications: ▪ Mineral wool has a significant share of the insulation market, at the same time as cellulose only have a couple percent of the market ▪ When determine insulation thickness from an environmental perspective, the insulation material and the waste treatment methods have a considerable impact. ▪ The environmental impact of an insulation material limits the amount that should be installed in the building. ▪ The environmental impact of heating method will impact the amount of insulation that should be installed in the building Limitations: The study is only applicable for its building. The results can however be used as guidance in insulation thicknesses on similar buildings. This study does not take into consideration how increased wall and roof dimensions effects structural and decreased need on the heating system.

The study takes its point of departure in two interrelated discussions on education. One addresses the extent to which education should include aspects from academic disciplines, while the second addresses observed differences between two groups of students those with a Swedish background and those with a non-Swedish background. The research question is if and how the inclusion of academic aspects in curricula is a factor behind the differences in grades and results on the national test in history. In the study, 100 student responses on one item in the national test in history are examined. Concept analysis is applied to examine the extent to which students from the two groups have command over disciplinary aspects. The model of cognitive representations suggested by Wineburg is used as a theoretical framework. The results show that there are significant differences not only between the two groups of students but also between students within the groups. The results are related to the discussion on knowledge and curriculum, on the one hand and the issue of equity in education on the other.

Begreppet källkritik har länge haft en central roll i svenska kursplaner i historia.I denna artikel analyseras begreppet i tre sammanhang. Först identifieras en ökande epistemologisk avvikelse över tid mellan historieämnets syftesbeskrivning och beskrivningen av källkritik i kursplanerna. Syftet med undervisningen historia har förändrats i en mer poststrukturalistisk riktning, medan begreppet källkritik beskrivs ur en mer objektivistisk epistemologiska hållning. I ett andra sammanhang undersöks svenska historieläroböcker och i dessa beskrivs begreppet källkritik ur ett objektivistiskt perspektiv. I ett tredje sammanhang identifieras hur hur gymnasieelever förefaller vara navigera mellan två svårförenliga kunskapsteoretiska paradigm. Uppsatsen avslutas med en diskussion om hur man kan förändra användningen av källkritik - från den tvångströja begreppet verkar att sätta på elever historiska tänkande, till det nödvändiga och användbara verktyg det skulle kunna vara. The concept of source criticism has long had a central role in Swedish history curricula.In this essay, the concept is analysed in three contexts. First, a growing epistemologicaldiscrepancy is identified over time with regard to the ways in which the aim of history teaching and the use of source criticism is set down in school curricula. The aim of teaching history has changed towards a more post-structuralist approach, while the concept of source criticism is still described from a more empiricist, epistemological stance. In a second context, Swedish history textbooks are found to use the concept of source criticism in an empiricist, epistemological way. In a third context, upper secondary pupils seem to be confused, navigating between two incompatible epistemological views of historical knowledge. The essay ends with a discussion on how to convert the use of source criticism - from the strait jacket it seems to put on pupils historical thinking, to the necessary and helpful tool it should be.

In this licentiate thesis is the focus is on what tools for handling historical information that is mentioned in the standards for history education in the Swedish upper-secondary school. To what extent these tools are made available for the students by their teachers is also investigated. That is done, by looking at teachers assessment materials. The results show a very low degree of alignment between the standards and the teacher made assessment materials. Theories of history didactics are used to shed light on the results. The pattern that evolves show that most teachers only handle a small part of the standards. I denna licentiatavhandling undersöks för det första de redskap för att hantera historia som samhället vill att eleverna skall tillgodogöra sig. För det andra kastar den ljus över i vilken utsträckning eleverna ges möjlighet att tillgodogöra sig dessa redskap. I undersökningen jämförs lärares skriftliga instruktioner för insamlande av bedömningsunderlag, till exempel prov och uppgifter, med kursplanen för historia A. Resultaten visar på en låg grad av samstämmighet mellan det lärarkonstruerade materialet och de mål och kriterier som anges i kursplanen. I ljuset av historiedidaktisk forskning framkommer i materialet mönster i fråga om hur lärarna i undersökningen hanterar historieämnet. För att förstå orsakerna till de funna mönstren intervjuas fem lärare. Intervjuerna tillsammans med undersökningens övriga resultat ger vid handen att lärarnas ämneskonstruktion är en central faktor.

The topic of my research is the degree of alignment between standards and assessment in the history A-level course in the Swedish upper secondary school. The aim is to measure the alignment and find explanations for the degree in general and for differences, if any, among the teachers. The theoretical backdrop for my research is (a) assessment theories about curriculum validity and the validity of assessment and (b) theories of history education. These two theoretical frameworks are chosen for their ability to clarify the relationship between the standards and the teacher made assessment material. My research relies on both quantitative and qualitative methods. The teachers in the study are chosen by single random sampling, using cluster sampling in two stages. First 35 schools were selected and then one history teacher at each school was selected. 23 teachers have contributed with all the written assessment material used in one course. The material comprises of tests and instructions for various assignments. The standards and the items in the assessment material are categorised, by qualitative text analyses, using Blooms revised taxonomy. A comparison between standards and assessment has been made with regard to two perspectives, balance and share. Five teachers in the sample have been interviewed in order to find out about their assessment strategies. They have been chosen on the basis of their assessment materials alignment with the standards. The strategies found have been used, together with the theoretical framework, to explain the degree of alignment of all teachers in average as well as the differences in alignment between teachers. The results indicate weak alignment between standards and assessment in average. There also seem to be differences between teachers. The interviews indicate that both (a) factors specific to the subject of history and (b) factors external to the subject can help explaining the alignment results. Subject specific factors, among others, are views on subject construction and definition of standards cognitive complexity. External factors are the absence of both assessment education and professional discussions about assessment at work. A tentative conclusion is that assessment can be regarded as both a subject specific and a general competence.
