The present paper aims to address the crucial concern of pollution induced by growing plastic waste and electromagnetic interference (EMI). Nanocomposites combining poly(lactic acid) (PLA) and organo-modified montmorillonite (OMMT) are synthesized and compression molded into thin films. A first set of samples, referred as virgin, was kept as is, while a second set of samples were photochemically, thermally and hydrolytically aged before mechanical recycling via extruding and second compression molding, resulting in the so-called recycled composite. The electromagnetic (EM) properties with a focus on microwave absorption performances of virgin and recycled samples are compared for various thicknesses and weight concentrations of OMMT in PLA matrix. The EM performances are gauges by Rozanov and Salisbury structures that consist in one- and two-layer stacks of composite films back-coated by a metal foil. Characterization in Rozanov configuration shows an average absorption index over the Ka band of 29.3% and 21.1% for, respectively, virgin and recycled PLA reinforced with 4 wt.% OMMT. An optimization of the film thickness is proposed; up to 61.85% and 80% of absorption with a thickness of 1.4 mm and 3.75 mm, respectively, is reached with a metal back-coated rPLA-4%OMMT film. Characterization in Salisbury configuration gives advantage to the recycled structure with an average absorption of 49.6% for a total thickness of 1.4 mm. The requirements of EMI shielding are met by PLA-OMMT composites with a certain benefit of recycling process on EM performance.

Метою статті є порівняння антропології статі В. Розанова та етики статевої відмінності Л. Ірігаре, виявлення подібностей та відмінностей цих концепцій, оцінка їхньої ролі у становленні гендерних досліджень. Теоретичний базис об’єднує компаративістський метод та гендерний підхід, основою якого є не просто опис різниці статусів, ролей та інших аспектів життя чоловіків та жінок, а й подолання андроцентризму сучасного світу. Наукова новизна полягає, в тому, що в статті вперше в контексті гендерних досліджень було зроблено спеціальне філософсько-антропологічне порівняння концепцій статі Розанова та Ірігаре. Це дозволило розанівську концепцію зарахувати до есенціалізму, а концепцію Ірігаре – до анти-есенціалізму. У статті також виявлена схожість антропології статі Розанова та етики статевої відмінності Ірігаре в аспекті поняття сексуальності, проаналізовані та детально зіставлені їхні основні ідеї. Висновок. Спільним в концепціях Розанова та Ірігаре є утвердження жіночої суб’єктивності, яка є рівноцінною чоловічий. Жіночий еквівалент сексуальності у Розанова проявляється в понятті "самочності", а у Ірігаре – в метонімії "двох губ". Методологічною основою їхніх концепцій виступає непереборна опозиція "чоловічого" та "жіночого". Розанов прагне до ототожнення "чоловічого" та "жіночого", а Ірігаре більше зосереджується на їхній радикальній відмінності. За Розановим гендерні відмінності детерміновані біологічно або метафізично, що визначає їхній вічний та незмінний характер. У свою чергу Ірігаре стверджує, що гендерні відмінності обумовлені фалоцентричною культурою та можуть бути подолані разом зі зміною мовних структур. Принципова ж схожість концепцій двох філософів полягає в тому, що в них сексуалізовоно не лише чоловіче, а й жіноче начало. Таким чином, Розанов у своїй стилістиці, акцентованій на увазі до тілесності, напрочуд близький теперішній гендерній антропології та може розглядатися як її предтеча. The purpose of the article is to compare the anthropology of gender by Vasil Rozanov and the ethics of sexual difference by Luce Irigaray, to identify similarities and distinctions between these theories, and to assess their role in the development of the gender studies. Theoretical basis combines the comparative method and the gender approach, which is based not only on describing the difference of statuses, roles and other aspects of men’s and women’s lives, but also on overcoming the androcentrism in the contemporary world. Originality of the work consists in the fact that, in the context of the gender studies, the special philosophical and anthropological comparison of the gender concepts by Rozanov and Irigaray were carried out for the first time. This allowed reckoning Rozanov’s theory in essentialism, and Irigaray’s theory in anti-essentialism. The article also reveals the similarity in the anthropology of gender by Rozanov and the ethics of sexual difference by Irigaray in terms of sexuality concept, analyzes and details their main ideas. Conclusion. The important similarity between Rozanov’s and Irigaray’s concepts is the assertion of female subjectivity as equivalent to male one. The female equivalent of sexuality by Rozanov manifests itself in the concept of "cunnicentrism", but by Irigaray, it is in the metonymy of "two lips". The methodological basis of their concepts is the insuperable opposition of "masculine" and "feminine". Rozanov seeks to identify "masculine" and "feminine", but Irigaray rather concentrates on their radical distinction. According to Rozanov, sexual differences are determined biologically or metaphysically, which defines their eternal and unchanging nature. In turn, Irigaray argues that phallocentric culture is the condition of sexual differences, which may be overcome with changing linguistic structures. The fundamental similarity of the anthropology of gender and the ethics of sexual difference is that not only "masculine", but also "feminine" principles are sexualized in them. Thus, Rozanov in his style and attention to physicality is surprisingly close to the modern gender anthropology and may be regarded as its forerunner. At the same time, the influence of Irigaray’s philosophical concepts on the contemporary gender studies is that she was the first to point out the need to create a woman’s other discourse that respects sexual difference and revealed the problematical character of singling out the distinctions between the female different and any other different in it., Целью статьи является сравнение антропологии пола В. Методологической основой их концепций выступает непреодолимая оппозиция "мужского" и "женского". Розанов стремится к отождествлению "мужского" и "женского", а Иригаре больше сосредотачивается на их радикальном различии. Согласно Розанову, гендерные различия детерминированы биологически или метафизически, что определяет их вечный и неизменный характер. В свою очередь Иригаре утверждает, что гендерные различия обусловлены фаллоцентричной культурой и могут быть преодолены вместе с изменением языковых структур. Принципиальное же сходство антропологии пола Розанова и этики полового различия Иригаре заключается в том, что в них сексуализировано не только мужское, но и женское начало. Таким образом, Розанов в своей стилистике, акцентированном внимании к телесности, удивительно близок нынешней гендерной антропологии и может рассматриваться как ее предтеча. Вместе с тем влияние философских концепций Иригаре на современные гендерные исследования состоит в том, что она впервые указала на необходимость создания современного другого дискурса, уважающего половое различие, и показала проблематичность выделения отличия женского иного от всякого другого иного в нем.

Celem artykułu jest analiza idei nieśmiertelności u dwóch rosyjskich myślicieli: Nikołaja Fiodorowa i Wasilija Rozanowa. Wpierw przedstawiona została filozofia Fiodorowa, który twierdził, że śmierć należy pokonać, a wszystkich zmarłych wskrzesić do życia. Zadanie to Fiodorow pojmował jako kontynuację dzieła Chrystusa i realizację fundamentalnego postulatu chrześcijaństwa — zbawienia człowieka. Następnie omówiona zostaje idea nieśmiertelności u Rozanowa. Odrzucał on chrześcijański wariant nieśmiertelności, próbując zastąpić go własnym projektem, który zakładał zjednoczenie z ponadindywidualnym potokiem życia. Konsekwencją była zgoda na zagładę jednostki. W zakończeniu stwierdzam, że chociaż idee Fiodorowa i Rozanowa wydają się sprzeczne, to w istocie łączy ich uwielbienie życia i pragnienie przezwyciężenia śmierci. The purpose of this work is to analyze idea of immoratlity by two Russian thinkers: Nikolai Fedorov and Vasily Rozanov. At the beginning, Fedorov’s philosophy is presented, who claimed that death needs to be defeated and all the dead people should be resurrected. Fedorov understood this task as a continuation of the mission of Christ and the realization of the fundamental postulate of Christianity — the salvation of a man. Then, the text deals with the Rozanov’s idea of immortality. He did not accept Christian version of immortality and tried to replace it with his own project, which involved a merger with the super-individual flow of life. This implied an agree for the destruction of the individual human. In conclusion, it is said that although Fedorov’s and Rozanov’s ideas seem to be opposite, in fact, glorification of life and desire to defeat death connect them.

This article examines Vasilii Rozanov’s autobiographical practices by analyzing previously unnoticed aspects of his engagement with Fedor Dostoevsky’s works. Rozanov’s fascination with Dostoevsky is hardly a secret, and his contemporaries found his tendency to embody characters, such as Fedor Karamazov or Smerdiakov so striking that he was even called a ‘living plagiary’ of Dostoevsky’s novels. And yet, a major aspect of this literary performance has yet to be explored. The author posits that Rozanov’s excessive intertextuality and his creative embodiment of certain Dostoevskian characters contribute to his creation of a hybrid autobiography, whose uniqueness emerges from its fundamental dependence on others’ texts and its thematization of relationality. Ultimately, this article argues that Rozanov wrote himself into a Dostoevskian genealogy of his own making, while also developing an original authorial persona that combined autobiographical referentiality with a subjectivity enacted primarily through interaction with others’ texts.

Książka poświęcona jest twórczości Wasilija Rozanowa (1856-1919) – rosyjskiego filozofa i pisarza, jednego z najoryginalniejszych twórców przedrewolucyjnej Rosji. Autor podejmuje próbę całościowej interpretacji jego dzieła – od pierwszego traktatu O rozumieniu po ostatnią Apokalipsę naszych czasów. Analizie poddany został zarówno wczesny okres konserwatywny, jak i formalne eksperymenty "opadłych liści". Wbrew opiniom głoszącym, że myśl Rozanowa ma charakter niespójny, autor usiłuje odnaleźć główną zasadę jego twórczości, swoistą nić przebiegającą przez dzieło i łączącą je w jedną całość. Poszukiwaniom przewodzi metafora "drzewa życia", uchwytująca paradoksalny charakter jego myśli. The book is devoted to Vasily Rozanov's work (1856-1919) - one of the most original Russian prerevolutionary thinker and writer. The author attempts to interpret his work as a whole; from the first tractate ‘On Understanding’ to the last ‘The Apocalypse of Our Times’. The analysis was subjected to both early conservative period and formal experiments of the "fallen leaves". Contrary to the opinions that Rozanov’s thought is incoherent, the author tries to find the main principle of his works – a kind of thread running through his work and combining it into one unit. The research is led by the metaphor of the "tree of life" showing the paradoxical nature of his thoughts.

The article studies V. V. Rozanov’s perception of Lermontov and Rozanov’s modernist concept of Russian literature as of Lermontov and its principles. Rozanov describes the mystic character of Lermontov’s lyrical poetry, focusing on the context of the Eastern Christian tradition. The universal archetypical and ontological character of Lermontov’s images is revealed by Rozanov in their relation to the culture of Ancient Egypt and Israel. Rozanov’s interpretation of Lermontov’s poetry through the prism of Christian humanism (pantheism) is proved by the reconstruction of Lermontov’s and V. Odoyevsky’s religious polemics., В статье рассматривается розановское восприятие Лермонтова, созданная Розановым модернистская концепция русской литературы «от Лермонтова» и ее принципы. Мистичность лермонтовской лирики Розанов раскрывает в контексте восточнохристианской традиции. Универсальная архетипичность и онтологичность лермонтовских образов выявляется Розановым в соотнесении с культурами Древнего Египта и Израиля. Розановское прочтение лирики Лермонтова в русле христианского гуманизма («пантеизм») подтверждается реконструкцией религиозной полемики Лермонтова и В. Одоевского.

The purpose of this work is to analyze the relation to death by two Russian thinkers: Nikolai Fedorov and Vasily Rozanov. At the beginning, Fedorov’s attitude is presented, who claimed that death needs to be defeated and all the dead people should be resurrected. Fedorov understood this task as a continuation of the mission of Christ and the realization of the fundamental postulate of Christianity – the victory over death and the salvation of a man. Then, the text deals with the Rozanov’s attitude to death. His relationship to Christianity was rather restrained – he did not accept the need of resurrection and transformation of nature. According to Rozanov, the power of death is neutralized by birth of a child. In conclusion, it is said that although at first glance the attitude to death by both thinkers seems to be opposite, in fact, hatred of death and glorification of life connect them. Moving in opposite directions, Fedorov and Rozanov reach the same point.

In 1900–1914, Rozanov’s popularity in Russia was extraordinary due to his books and articles concerning the questions of the Russian Orthodox Church’s renovation, he received an enormous amount of letters from his contemporaries, including young clerics and monks yearning for answers to their religious and moral questions or for his comments on their spiritual works. But the preoccupation with religious reformism led him to confrontation with the Church, and in this confrontation he had had an ally and an advisor in the person of Alexsandre Ustyinsky, whose letters and notes the former used in his journalism. The study was based on unpublished letters of writer Vasiliy Rozanov and orthodox priest Ust'insky, the letters are from two .archival collections in Moscow (RGALI and literary manuscripts department of the Russian Public Library). The article provides the findings of the research on unpublished archival correspondence between V. Rozanov and the Russian Orthodox Church archpriest A. Ustyinsky as to whether the writer indeed was an original religious thinker among ‘neo-Christians’. The examination of unpublished correspondence between V. Rozanov and Novgorod archpriest Alexander Ustyinsky has shown that Rozanov was not independent in his judgments with regards to a range of religious problems which his contemporaries connected to the reformation of the Russian Church, and in this sense the writer’s oeuvre is only yet to be studied.
