AimThis study aimed to evaluate the validity, reliability and acceptability of the Implementation Leadership Scale in the Chinese nursing context.DesignThis study utilized a cross-sectional design.MethodsThis study was conducted in one general tertiary hospital with 234 nurses (85.3% response rate) from 35 clinical units in China. Content validity, structural validity, convergent validity, reliability (internal consistency), agreement indices and acceptability were evaluated. The data collection was from December 1st, 2017 to June 30th, 2018.ResultsConfirmatory factor analysis demonstrated a good model fit to the four-factor implementation leadership model. The psychometric testing also indicated good convergent validity, high internal consistency and acceptable aggregation. Most participants completed the scale in two minutes or less and agreed or strongly agreed that the questions were relevant to implementation leadership, clear and easy to answer.ConclusionsThis study demonstrated that the Chinese Implementation Leadership Scale is a valid, reliable and pragmatic tool for measuring strategic leadership for implementing evidence-based practices.

Objective·To explore the effects of home-based rehabilitation program led by self-efficacy theory after temporomandibular joint disk repositioning.Methods·Convenient sampling method was used. Patients with temporomandibular joint disk displacement who received temporomandibular joint disk repositioning in Shanghai Ninth People′s Hospital, Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine from August 2020 to January 2021 were selected as the control group, and patients admitted from February 2021 to July 2021 were selected as the intervention group. The control group received the conventional home-based rehabilitation care, while the intervention group were given home-based rehabilitation program led by self-efficacy theory. The general information questionnaire was used to collect the general information about patients. The joint range of motion measuring, rehabilitation exercise compliance questionnaire, General Self-efficacy Scale (GSES), and Mishel's Uncertainty in Illness Scale (MUIS) were used to investigate the joint range of motion, the rehabilitation exercise compliance score, the self-efficacy score and the uncertainty in illness score in the two groups at baseline and at 1, 3 and 6 months after surgery.Results·A total of 167 patients with temporomandibular joint disk displacement who received temporomandibular joint disk repositioning surgery were enrolled, including 96 cases in the control group and 71 cases in the intervention group. There was no difference in the general information between the two groups (P>0.05). There were no differences in the maximal mouth opening, maximum rightward lateral movement, maximum leftward lateral movement, self-efficacy score and uncertainty in illness score between the two groups at baseline (all P>0.05). The maximal forward extension in the intervention group was significantly less than that in the control group (P=0.008). Repeated measurement variance analysis showed that the self-efficacy scores in the intervention group were higher than those in the control group at 1, 3 and 6 months after surgery, and the differences were statistically significant (P=0.006, P=0.003, P=0.016). At 1 and 3 months after surgery, the scores of complexity dimension of uncertainty in illness in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P=0.003, P=0.000). At 1 and 6 months after surgery, the rehabilitation exercise compliance scores in the intervention group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P=0.000, P=0.016). At 6 months after surgery, the maximum forward extension and maximum rightward lateral movement were significantly greater than those in the control group (P=0.024, P=0.008).Conclusion·The home-based rehabilitation program led by self-efficacy theory has a positive effect on improving the self-efficacy and compliance of rehabilitation exercise, reducing the disease uncertainty, and promoting the joint function recovery in patients receiving temporomandibular joint disk repositioning.

"Silicone rubber (SR) is one of the most important polymer materials with unique viscoelasticity and toughness. In this work, the surface of nano-silica was modified by 1 H, 1 H, 2 H, 2 H-perfluorodecyltriethoxysilane to improve the dispersion of nano-silica in SR. Finally, the 1 H, 1 H, 2 H, 2 H-perfluorodecyltriethoxysilane modified nano-silica (F-SiO2) / SR composites were used to fabricate a serials F-SiO2 / SR based triboelectric nanogenerators (FR-TENG). The effect of F-SiO2 contents on the electric out-put performance of FR-TENG was studied. As shown in Table 1, at 1.0% (mass fraction, the same below) F-SiO2 content, the FR-TENG exhibited the best output performance. The short circuit current (Isc), open circuit voltage (Voc) and hort circuit transfer charge (Qsc) of FR-TENG at 1.0% F-SiO2 content were 5.5 μA, 244.1 V and 76.9 nC, compared with those of pure SR increased about 71%, 26% and 16%, respectively.The FR-TENG can be used to light up about 33 LED lamps, which working circuit diagram was shown in Fig 1. Therefore, the FR-TENG has a great potential application in the wind, ocean, and mechanical energy harvesting and convert this green energy into AC electricity. The AC electricity can be rectified to DC electricity through the rectifier bridge and stored in commercially available capacitors, which can be used to power electronic devices. In addition, a 22 μF commercially available capacitor was charged by the FR-TENG to 2.5 V and discharging by driving a small calculator (Fig 2)."

This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of an oral sequential triple combination therapy with selexipag after dual combination therapy with endothelin receptor antagonist (ERA) and phosphodiesterase‐5 inhibitor (PDE5I)/riociguat in pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) patients. A total of 192 PAH patients from 10 centers had received oral sequential selexipag therapy after being on dual‐combination therapy with ERA and PDE5i/riociguat for a minimum of 3 months. Clinical data were collected at baseline and after 6 months of treatment. The study analyzed the event‐free survival at 6 months and all‐cause death over 2 years. At baseline, the distribution of patients among the risk groups was as follows: 22 in the low‐risk group, 35 in the intermediate‐low‐risk group, 91 in the intermediate‐high‐risk group, and 44 in the high‐risk group. After 6 months of treatment, the oral sequential triple combination therapy resulted in reduced NT‐proBNP levels (media from 1604 to 678 pg/mL), a decline in the percentage of WHO‐FC III/IV (from 79.2% to 60.4%), an increased in the 6MWD (from 325 ± 147 to 378 ± 143 m) and a rise in the percentage of patients with three low‐risk criteria (from 5.7% to 13.5%). Among the low‐risk group, there was an improvement in the right heart remodeling, marked by a decrease in right atrium area and eccentricity index. The intermediate‐low‐risk group exhibited significant enhancements in WHO‐FC and tricuspid annular plane systolic excursion. For those in the intermediate‐high and high‐risk groups, there were marked improvements in activity tolerance, as reflected by WHO‐FC and 6MWD. The event‐free survival rate at 6 months stood at 88%. Over the long‐term follow‐up, the survival rates at 1 and 2 years were 86.5% and 86.0%, respectively. In conclusion, the oral sequential triple combination therapy enhanced both exercise capacity and cardiac remodeling across PAH patients of different risk stratifications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The treatment of oral cancer patients mainly involves surgery in combination with radiotherapy and che⁃ motherapy. This paper reviews the clinical features of perioperative patients with oral cancer, including oral flora imbal⁃ ance, oral complications after radiotherapy and chemotherapy, the presence of oral incisions (and flaps), special dietary needs, and airway management. In connection with the above characteristics, this article analyzes the necessity of three aspects of oral care to improve the patient􀆳s comfort and prevent pulmonary and surgical site infections, with the goal of providing a reference for oral care research on patients undergoing oral cancer surgery and laying a foundation for the construction of comprehensive oral care programs during the perioperative period for patients with oral cancer.

The surface of graphene was functionalized with 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ionic liquid. Ionic liquid modified graphene(IG)/ thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer (TPU) composites were prepared by filling IG into TPU by solution blending method. The effect of IG content on the shape memory properties of IG / TPU composites was investigated. The results showed that pure TPU did not show light response shape memory performance, and there was almost no recovery under laser irradiation. The addition of IG could significantly improve the light response shape memory performance of IG / TPU composites, and with the increase of IG mass fraction, the shape recovery was accelerated, and the shape memory performance of the composites was better. When the mass fraction of IG was 0.5%, its shape memory performance reached the best, and the recovery angle could reach 123.7° after laser irradiation for 2.0 s, which was 99.4° higher than that of pure TPU.
