In this work, we modify the traditional Brusselator model to incorporate the intermolecular interactions, based on which a systematic study is performed on the pattern formation mediated by chemical reaction and phase separation. It is found that if the chemical reaction dominates, the pattern formation will be inhibited by the phase separation while if the phase separation dominates, the chemical reaction will prevent, under certain conditions, the domain size from growing which results in dissipative patterns other than macroscopic phase separations.

The variations of single event transient (SET) pulse width of high-LET heavy ion irradiation in 16-nm-thick bulk silicon fin field-effect transistor (FinFET) inverter chains with different driven strengths are measured at different temperatures. Three-dimensional (3D) technology computer-aided design simulations are carried out to study the SET pulse width and saturation current varying with temperature. Experimental and simulation results indicate that the increase in temperature will enhance the parasitic bipolar effect of bulk FinFET technology, resulting in the increase of SET pulse width. On the other hand, the increase of inverter driven strength will change the layout topology, which has a complex influence on the SET temperature effects of FinFET inverter chains. The experimental and simulation results show that the device with the strongest driven strength has the least dependence on temperature.

Aconitums,represented by Aconite Radix,Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata and Aconiti Kusnezoffh Folium,is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine with a long medicinal history in China. They possess the significant toxicity and therapeutic effects simultaneously. Their potent effects of rescuing from dying,curing rheumatism,anti-inflammation,and analgesia make Aconitums highly regarded by physicians and pharmacists of various dynasties. However,countless poisoning cases caused by an irrational use of Aconitums were reported. In case of improper application and exceeding the therapeutic window,the acute cardiotoxicity and neurotoxicity would be caused,seriously threatening health and even life of the users. Therefore,the clinical application of Aconitums is limited to some extent. To avoid its toxicity and ensure the safety of medicinal use,Aconitums is usually used in a form of its processed products instead of the crude herbs,or combined with some other traditional Chinese medicines in a normal prescription. A proper processing and compatibility method can detoxicate its severe toxicity,reduce the adverse reactions,and also significantly broaden the indications and application range of Aconitums. This provides a guarantee for the secondary exploitation and utilization of Aconitums. In this paper,the traditional processing methods of Aconitums,along with the modern advancement were reviewed,and the mechanisms of detoxification by processing and compatibility were also illuminated. The physical detoxification mode and chemical detoxification mode were found as two main detoxification ways for Aconitums. In particular,the detoxification by hydrolysis,ion-pair,and saponification were three main means. The mechanisms illustrated in this paper can be a reference to the development of modern processing method and a guidance for appropriate use of Aconitums in clinical application.

During our screening program for agrochemicals from Chinese medicinal herbs and wild plants, the essential oil of Litsea cubeba fruits was found to possess strong contact toxicity against the cigarette beetle Lasioderma serricorne adults and the booklouse Liposcelis bostrychophila , with LD 50 values of 27.33 μg/adult and 71.56 μg/cm 2 , respectively, and also showed strong fumigant toxicity against the two stored product insects with LC 50 values of 22.97 and 0.73 mg/L, respectively. The essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation was investigated by GC MS. The main components of the essential oil were identified to be E-citral (geranial) (27.49%), Z-citral (neral) (23.57%) and d -limonene (18.82%) followed by β-thujene (3.34%), β-pinene (2.85%), α-pinene (2.57%), 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one (2.40%) and linalool (2.36%). Citral (Z/E-citral), d -limonene, β-pinene, α-pinene and linalool were separated and purified by silica gel column chromatography and preparative thin layer chromatography, and further identified by means of physicochemical and spectrometric analysis. Citral and linalool showed strong contact toxicity against L. serricorne and L. bostrychophila (LD 50 = 11.76, 12.74 μg/adult and 20.15, 99.97 μg/cm 2 , respectively) and fumigant toxicity against L. serricorne and L. bostrychophila (16.54, 18.04 mg/L air and 0.14, 0.71 mg/L air, respectively). Otherwise, citral, d -limonene and linalool were strongly repellent against the cigarette beetle L. serricorne as the essential oil whereas β-pinene and α-pinene exhibited weaker repellency against the cigarette beetle compared with the positive control, DEET. Moreover, except α-pinene and linalool, the other three compounds as well as the essential oil exhibited comparable repellency against the booklouse relative to DEET.

With the widespread adoption of Cloud infrastructure, there are many famous open source Cloud management platforms, but it is not a trivial task to build Infrastructure as a Service Clouds using them. Moreover, during the developing and testing phase, Cloud platforms need to be built frequently. Existing automatic deployment tools require users to have programming skills using high-level programming language. However, many Cloud administrators are not related programming experience. Therefore, they must repeatedly manually deploy the Cloud platforms step by step. In this paper, we propose a visualized framework of automatic deployment system for Cloud management platforms. It allows users to design templates of Cloud management platforms through a Web based interface without high-level programming, and it can automatically deploy Cloud platforms from templates. The experimental results show that a person without high-level programming experience can design a template of CloudStack system with load balance and high availability in less than 30 minutes, and the template can be used to deploy real world CloudStack systems repeatedly automatically.

The research is based on FP-Tree algorithm for mining frequent phase sets that use hash tables and conditional probability formula stock association rules between the ups and downs, and on this basis to make a system for publishing mining information. Due to space constraints, article focuses on FP-Tree algorithm and data mining analysis and implementation. Significance of this research is that data mining for stock data integration applications. Stock data by mining association rules for the user's stock trading and trend analysis play a guiding role. It also can be applied to the stock arbitrage, long-term buying and selling contracts, and stock price movements correlations investment issues.

During our screening program for agrochemicals from Chinese medicinal herbs and wild plants, the essential oil ofCinnamomum camphoraleaves was found to possess strong fumigant and contact toxicity againstLasioderma serricorneadults with LC50/LD50values of 2.5 mg/L air and 21.25 μg/adult, respectively. The essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation was investigated by GC and GC-MS. The main components of the essential oil were identified to beD-camphor (40.54%), linalool (22.92%), cineole (11.26%), and 3,7,11-trimethyl-3-hydroxy-6,10-dodecadien-1-yl acetate (4.50%). Bioactivity-directed chromatographic separation on repeated silica gel columns led to the isolation ofD-camphor and linalool.D-camphor and linalool showed strong fumigant toxicity (LC50= 2.36 and 18.04 mg/L air, resp.) and contact toxicity (LD50= 13.44 and 12.74 μg/adult, resp.) againstL. serricorne. The results indicate that the essential oil ofC. camphoraand its active compounds had the potential to be developed as natural fumigants and insecticides for control ofL. serricorne.

The aim of this research was to determine larvicidal activity of the ethanol extract ofInula racemosaHook. f. (Compositae) roots against the larvae of the Culicidae mosquitoAedes albopictusand to isolate any larvicidal constituents from the extract. Based on bioactivity-guided fractionation, 11,13-dihydroisoalantolactone (1), macrophyllilactone E (2), 5α-epoxyalantolactone (3), and epoxyisoalantolactone (4) were isolated and identified as the active constituents. Compounds1and2exhibited strong larvicidal activity against the early fourth-instar larvae ofA. albopictuswith LC50values of 21.86 μg/mL and 18.65 μg/mL, respectively, while the ethanol extract had a LC50value of 25.23 μg/mL. Compounds3and4also possessed larvicidal activity against the Asian tiger mosquitoes with LC50values of 29.37 μg/mL and 35.13 μg/mL, respectively. The results indicated that the ethanol extract ofI. racemosaand the four isolated constituents have potential for use in the control ofA. albopictuslarvae and could be useful in the search of newer, safer, and more effective natural compounds as larvicides.
