This study investigates the feasibility of integrating Hyperloop technology with hydrogen fuel systems. The primary objective was to evaluate how Hyperloop infrastructure can incorporate hydrogen refueling stations to optimize transport efficiency and sustainability. The research utilized simulation models developed with ArchiCAD and FlexSim software to analyze the integration of Hyperloop cargo and passenger transport with hydrogen refueling processes. The study included detailed simulations of Hyperloop operations and refueling logistics, focusing on safety, efficiency, and the potential for reducing carbon emissions. Key parameters such as capsule speed, refueling times, and infrastructure requirements were analyzed. Results indicated that Hyperloop technology can significantly enhance transport efficiency, particularly for high-value and time-sensitive goods, while hydrogen refueling stations offer a sustainable energy solution with considerable potential for reducing environmental impact. The findings demonstrate that integrating hydrogen refueling stations into the Hyperloop system can improve operational efficiency and sustainability. However, challenges remain in optimizing refueling processes and infrastructure development. Future research should address these challenges and explore additional AI-based optimization techniques to enhance the overall system performance. This research is especially useful for urban planners, transportation engineers, and policymakers aiming to develop efficient, sustainable transportation systems that incorporate cutting-edge technology like Hyperloop and hydrogen refueling infrastructure.

In developed countries the salaries of office workers are several times higher than the total cost of maintaining and operating the building. Therefore even a small improvement in human work productivity and performance as a result of enhancing the quality of their work environment may lead to a meaningful economic benefits. The air temperature is the most commonly used indicator in assessing the indoor environment quality. What is more, it is well known that thermal comfort has the biggest impact on employees performance and their ability to work efficiently. In majority of office buildings, indoor temperature is managed by heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) appliances. However the way how they are currently managed and controlled leads to the nonhomogeneous distribution of temperature in certain space. An approach to determining the spatial variability of temperature in confined spaces was introduced based on thermal imaging temperature measurements. The conducted research and obtained results enabled positive verification of the method and creation of surface plot illustrating the temperature variability.

The aim of this paper is to identify the conditions (both technical and non-technical) that determine the development of vacuum tube high-speed train technology. We employ technological roadmapping as a method. With this method, we analyze the planned process of the development of vacuum tube high-speed train technology in Poland. We have identified 65 conditions. They have been segregated into 4 groups (namely, legal, technological, economic, and social) and 20 development paths. These conditions are visible in the roadmap picturing the development process of vacuum tube high-speed train technology. Among the identified determinants, technical factors dominate; they relate to line infrastructure, stations, and vehicles. However, the development of technology is determined by legal, economic, and social conditions as well. Our study indicates that the successful implementation of the technology requires the management of all of the determining conditions and the mitigation of the impact of those that may be limited to others. The unveiled connotations among the examined factors can be implied by the decision-makers who are responsible for the development of transport infrastructure and vacuum tube high-speed train technology. Purpose: This paper studies the role of the implementation of synergistic planning in manufacturing plants as a method for unifying in one system reorganization or re-planning processes. The higher quality of technological design is the more effective design of industrial plants can be. Performing the analysis of technological plans together with architectural and construction plans before construction starts enables achieving competitive advantage already at the design stage, what in consequence leads to the increase of design efficiency, costs reduction, and the improvement of cooperation within design teams. Design/methodology/approach: The emphasis is placed on the joint design data for which the correct synergistic relationships between the projects arise. The existing synergy between technological planning and facility planning makes it possible to consider re-planning as a single system. The main contribution is detailed analysis of connections between synergetic planning phases. Rational re-planning is performed according to Layout Design Methods using CAD tools and BIM technology. The former is also used in factory planning as a combined design software. In the publication, the authors present an original 8E method as a framework for synergetic planning. Findings: The paper provides an approach to synergetic planning, describes stages of synergetic design, functional and spatial scheme of the assumptions of the concept of 8E. Practical implications: Due to the Synergetic Factory Planning, it is possible to generate a solution, which enables the implementation of the project in accordance with the requirements of each design area. Originality/value: The contribution of this paper is an original OLESTR method which is based on synergistic planning and oriented towards practical aspects of planning.
