A lo largo de la historia de México las construcciones religiosas se han convertido no solo en evidencia de la vida de los mexicanos que habitaron en épocas anteriores, sino también en testigos de los acontecimientos trascendentales que han marcado la vida del país. Las capillas corresponden a dichas construcciones eclesiásticas, que, sin tener la estructura ostentosa y las dimensiones de un templo, sí poseen funciones importantes para las personas católicas. En San Miguel de Allende en el estado de Guanajuato, México, durante la conquista y época virreinal, los antiguos habitantes de la región fusionaron sus creencias y deidades con el cristianismo, siendo las hoy conocidas capillas de indios o capillas virreinales testigos de la fusión entre ambas culturas. Las capillas de indios son construcciones pequeñas y primitivas erigidas por los antiguos pobladores, las cuales eran autorizadas mediante cédulas reales y a petición de los indios prominentes: caciques y conquistadores (Rodríguez, 2017), en las que se puede observar la expresión del catolicismo y el sincretismo con las deidades de los pobladores. Actualmente, muy pocas de estas están en pie. Sin embargo, aún se encuentran en buen estado y conservan en su interior imágenes religiosas, cruces de manufactura indígena y elementos esenciales del proceso de evangelización, motivo por el cual han llamado la atención de habitantes y turistas, así como de la propia Secretaría de Turismo para hacer de estas un atractivo turístico, sin tener aún un recorrido consolidado. Derivado de lo anterior, la finalidad del presente documento es conocer la importancia de las capillas de indios no sólo para los sanmiguelenses sino en general, para la cultura de los mexicanos. Con ello, se sientan las bases para nuevas investigaciones y el desarrollo de proyectos turísticos, particularmente de turismo rural., Throughout Mexican history, religious structures not only stand as tangible remnants of the lives of earlier inhabitants but also bear witness to transcendent events that have shaped the nation. In San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, during the conquest and the viceregal era, the indigenous population intertwined their beliefs and deities with Christianity. The chapels, known today as Indian chapels or viceregal chapels, witness this gradual process of acculturation. Authorized by royal certificates at the behest of prominent Indians, such as chiefs and conquerors (Rodríguez, 2017), Indian chapels are small, primitive structures erected by ancient settlers. These chapels embody the expression of Catholicism and syncretism with indigenous deities. While only a few of them remain standing, they are remarkably well-preserved, housing religious images, indigenous-made crosses, and essential elements of the evangelization process. Consequently, these chapels have captured the attention of both locals and tourists, prompting the Ministry of Tourism to consider them as potential attractions. However, a consolidated route is yet to be established. Type I collagen is a high-value polymer found naturally in animal species and with many applications in the biomedical field. Collagen is frequently obtained from bovine tendons, but this source presents the risk of disease transmission, thus marine collagen is becoming an alternative source of this valuable material. In the present work, we report the successful extraction and characterization of the natural collagen found in the scales of Biajaiba, a highly consumed fish native to the Gulf of Mexico. We obtained acid- and pepsin-soluble type I collagens with high denaturation temperatures, high hydroxyproline contents, and yields in the ranges reported for other fish scales. Our work proposes a useful alternative for transforming the huge quantities of discarded fish scales in our country to extract a high-value product for biomedical applications. © 2023 the author(s), published by De Gruyter.

The purpose of this paper is to identify the touristization process that has taken place in Bahías de Huatulco. Understanding that this term is relatively new and little used in Mexico, which is considered a window of opportunity to create a watershed on the subject.Huatulco being a tourist development created by FONATUR (National Fund for the Promotion of Tourism) has been growing gradually displacing the receiving community, giving priority to tourists in almost every way, thereby increasing various social phenomena, such as tourism phobia and touristization.That is why this document aims to show how tourism has become so important for the destination, leaving the host community in the background.The purpose of this paper is to identify the touristization process that has taken place in Bahías de Huatulco. Entendiendo que este término es relativamente nuevo y poco usado en México, lo cual se considera una ventana de oportunidad para crear un parteaguas en el tema.Huatulco siendo un desarrollo turístico creado por FONATUR (Fondo Nacional de Fomento al Turismo) ha ido creciendo paulatinamente desplazando a la comunidad receptora, dando prioridad a los turistas en casi todos los sentidos, generando con ello diversos fenómenos sociales, como es la turismofobia y la turistización.Es por ello que el presente documento tiene como finalidad mostrar la forma en que el turismo ha cobrado tanta importancia para el destino quedando en segundo término la comunidad receptora.El diseño de esta investigación es considerado de tipo no experimental derivado de la no manipulación intencionada de las variables.Al mismo tiempo es de carácter longitudinal de evolución debido a que se recaba información con respecto a las actividades dirigidas a turistas y comunidad receptora desde el inicio del CIP. Así como el comportamiento de la afluencia de turistas al destino desde el año 2010. Dentro de los principales hallazgos obtenidos se pueden mencionar que se identificó un notable crecimiento de las festividades y celebraciones encaminadas a erradicar la estacionalidad de la actividad turística en el destino. Estas actividades son en su mayoría de orden deportivo. Con respecto a la infraestructura y equipamiento de la ciudad, se pudo notar una mejoría en la limpieza de la ciudad en general, la recolección de basura y la obtención de certificaciones de playas limpias. Aunque por otro lado se observó el fenómeno de gentrificación en una etapa inicial.

This article tries to show the importance of tourist culture and its impact on tourism in the Magic Town of Comonfort, Guanajuato based on a study of the inhabitants, service providers and public servants of the place that allows identifying if it exists, a level of involvement, interest in being trained in it and understanding its importance within the development of the tourist destination and the attention to tourists and visitors. Tourism culture is defined as a set of knowledge and values acquired by the hosts and tourists of a destination and through their practice, attitudes and customs, which favor the promotion and growth of tourism activity. Since its appointment as Pueblo Mágico in 2018, the culture of the place has developed tourist activity in the municipality with the deployment of its customs and activities in its rural and urban communities, giving them added value as a tourist product, thus making them an attraction of Cultural tourism attracting more tourism to Comonfort, due to the daily uses and customs of the municipality, requiring a tourist organization of the space, making it necessary to understand and incorporate the concept of tourist culture. However, identifying the extent to which this concept has been worked on is something that must be studied in order to know the current situation and to be able to undertake new strategies to assist tourists and visitors. Therefore, the document is divided into four sections, starting with the methodological definition that was used for the writing and compilation of the information. La cultura turística se define como un conjunto de conocimientos y valores que adquieren los anfitriones y turistas de un destino y mediante su práctica, actitudes y costumbres, que favorecen el fomento y el crecimiento de la actividad turística. Desde su nombramiento como Pueblo Mágico en 2018, la cultura del lugar desarrolla la actividad turística en el municipio con el del despliegue de sus costumbres y actividades en sus comunidades rurales y urbanas, otorgándoles un valor agregado como producto turístico, convirtiéndolos así en un atractivo de turismo cultural atrayendo a Comonfort más turismo, por los usos y costumbres cotidianos del municipio, requiriendo una organización turística del espacio, haciendo necesario la comprensión e incorporación del concepto de cultura turística. Sin embargo, identificar hasta donde se ha trabajado en este concepto es algo que se debe estudiar a fin de conocer la situación actual y poder emprender nuevas estrategias de atención a turistas y visitantes. Por lo anterior el documento se divide en cuatro apartados, comenzando por la definición metodológica que se utilizó para la redacción y compilación de la información. Desde un punto de vista morfológico, se pueden describir la mordida abierta anterior, cuando los incisivos no coinciden con sus correspondientes; por otra parte, tenemos la mordida abierta posterior unilateral o bilateral, cuando los molares o premolares no ocluyen de forma adecuada, en uno o en ambos lados; y por último tenemos la mordida abierta completa cuando el contacto sólo se realiza a nivel de los últimos molares y la apertura es tanto anterior como posterior.

The literature points out that innovation is based on knowledge, to promote changes that generate greater benefits in companies. In this paper, the level of adoption of innovations and the factors associated with innovation are analyzed in 94 Mexican agricultural and industrial family businesses, which participated in a training focused on technical, administrative, organizational and family aspects. 63% of these companies were surveyed, and the information, through indicators of innovation, comparison of averages, and correlations, was analyzed. The results showed significant impacts in the adoption of innovations in the four aspects; in addition, it was found that the education, the years in the activity, and the number of relatives involved in the company are associated with higher levels of innovation, A literatura indica que a inovação é baseada no conhecimento, para promover mudanças que geram maiores benefícios nas empresas. Neste trabalho, analisa-se o nível de adoção de inovações e os fatores associados em 94 empresas familiares agrícolas e industriais mexicanas, participantes de um treinamento focado nos aspectos técnicos, administrativos, organizacionais e familiares. 63% dessas empresas foram pesquisadas e analisou-se a informação por meio de indicadores de inovação, comparação de médias e correlações. Os resultados mostraram impactos significativos na adoção de inovações nos quatro aspectos; além disso, verificou-se que a escolaridade, os anos de atividade e o número de familiares envolvidos na empresa estão associados a níveis mais altos de inovação, La literatura señala que la innovación tiene como base el conocimiento, para promover cambios que generen mayores beneficios en las empresas. En este trabajo, se analiza el nivel de adopción de innovaciones y los factores asociados en 94 empresas familiares agropecuarias y agroindustriales mexicanas, participantes en una capacitación enfocada en aspectos técnicos, administrativos, organizacionales y familiares. Se encuestó al 63% de estas empresas y se analizó la información a través de indicadores de innovación, comparación de medias y correlaciones. Los resultados mostraron impactos significativos en la adopción de innovaciones en los cuatro aspectos; además, se encontró que la escolaridad, los años en la actividad y el número de familiares involucrados en la empresa se asocian con mayores niveles de innovación.

The objective of this study was to describe the measures introduced at the Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol, Barcelona, aimed at achieving a smoke-free environment, and encouraging research, training, and clinical approaches with respect to smoking. The experience gained as a center attached to the Catalan Network of Smokeless Hospitals since 2002 shows that preventing and controlling smoking requires a specific agenda developed by a competent committee comprising workers from all hospital areas. Likewise, coordination with other centers in the network is essential as it permits the sharing of experiences. The involvement of hospital management is critical for the effective introduction of health protection and promotion strategies, both in workers and in users. The raising of awareness and the ongoing training of all health workers and coordination with other health care providers in the health network are the main aspects that require strengthening in the future., El objetivo de este trabajo fue describir las medidas llevadas a cabo en el Hospital Germans Trias i Pujol de Barcelona, destinadas a conseguir un entorno libre de humo, así como al desarrollo de actividades de investigación, formación y abordaje clínico en relación al tabaquismo. La experiencia como centro adherido a la Red Catalana de Hospitales Sin Humo desde 2002 nos revela que para la prevención y control del tabaquismo es necesaria una agenda específica desarrollada por un Comité competente, compuesto por trabajadores de diferentes estamentos y servicios del centro. Del mismo modo, consideramos fundamental la coordinación con otros centros de la Red que permita compartir experiencias, así como la implicación de la Dirección del Centro para la implementación efectiva de las estrategias de promoción y protección de la salud, tanto en los trabajadores como en los usuarios. La sensibilización y formación continuada de todo el personal sanitario y la coordinación con otros servicios proveedores de salud de la red sanitaria se perfilan como los principales puntos a reforzar en el futuro.
