Plasmablastic neoplasms comprise various haematolymphoid tumours with plasmablastic morphology which includes Plasmablastic Myeloma (PBM) and Plasmablastic Lymphoma (PBL). Distinguishing these two entities remains a major diagnostic challenge. In view of Epstein Barr Virus (EBV)-Encoded RNA (EBER) negativity, Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) negativity, high Serum Free Light Chain (SFLC) assay and absence of hypermetabolic lymphadenopathy, a final diagnosis of PBM was made. This report is about a 55-year-old lady who presented with fatigue, significant loss of weight, and appetite. She had mild enlargement of the liver, spleen and no significant lymphadenopathy. There were atypical cells in peripheral blood. Bone marrow evaluation showed 51% atypical mononuclear cells. Flow cytometry was negative for acute leukaemia diagnostic markers. Immunohistochemistry (IHC) on the bone marrow biopsy revealed positivity for Cluster of Differentiation (CD) 138, Multiple Myeloma 1 (MUM1) with kappa light chain restriction and negative for EBER. The free light chain showed a kappa:lambda light chain ratio of 28,885 (0.26-1.65). The diagnosis of PBM was made and she was started on a daratumumab-based immunotherapy regimen. She achieved complete remission after induction with Measurable Residual Disease (MRD)

In Budd-Chiari Syndrome (BCS) there is narrowing and obstruction of the veins of the hepatic veins. Patients have upper quadrant abdominal pain, hepatomegaly and/or ascites. Authors hereby, discuss a case report of a 20-year-old male with history of abdominal pain, progressive distension of abdomen and mild jaundice for two months. He had hepatic vein thrombosis as well as lupus anticoagulant and was positive for anti beta 2-glycoprotein I antibody indicative of antiphospholipid syndrome. The patient was worked up for hypercoagulable states in view of unusual site of venous thrombus. Patient recovered after being treated with prolonged anticoagulation and hepatic vein stenting. The link between antiphospholipid syndrome and BCS is well documented in the literature, but occurrence of BCS due to primary antiphospholipid syndrome is rare. Early identification, treatment of underlying cause can prevent chronic BCS and liver cirrhosis.

The field of computer vision is actively researching real-time eye detection and tracking. Face alignment can benefit from eye localization and tracking. The duration of eye closure and percentage of eye closure (PEC) can be used to measure driver fatigue. It is based on a hardware system that uses a camera to capture images of the driver in real time and software to monitor the driver's eye in order to prevent accidents. In the event of an accident, GSM and GPS are utilised to track the location of the automobile, and the local hospital and police are alerted. BACKGROUND: India lacks organized school oral health programs, resulting in limited access to oral health care among children. The peer role models, or teachers, may help in bridging the gap to enhance knowledge on self-care preventive practices. The aim of the study was to evaluate and compare the effectiveness of dental health education (DHE) offered by qualified dental professional, trained teachers, and peer role models in promoting oral hygiene status and behavior among school-going children in Mysuru, Karnataka. MATERIALS AND METHODS: This was an interventional study conducted over a period of 3 months in an academic year in three selected schools in Mysuru City, India. A total of 120 students were divided into three groups – group 1 were given DHE (dental health education) by a dental professional, group 2 were given DHE by a trained teacher, and group 3 were given DHE by peer role models. Oral health knowledge was assessed using a close-ended questionnaire, plaque levels were assessed using Turesky Gilmore Glickman modification of Quigley Hein plaque index, and gingival status was assessed using Loe and Sillness gingival index. After 3 months, the same index and questionnaire were used post intervention. RESULTS: The mean scores for knowledge on dental caries at baseline in groups 1, 2, and 3 were 3.75 ± 1.25, 3.65 ± 1.07, and 3.40 ± 1.17, respectively, with no significant difference between the groups, which changed to 4.43 ± 1.27, 3.37 ± 1.14, and 4.93 ± 0.99, respectively, following intervention. Similar results were observed with regard to knowledge on gingival and periodontal diseases. The mean plaque scores at baseline for groups 1, 2, and 3 were 4.17 ± 0.30, 3.24 ± 0.70, and 4.10 ± 0.31, respectively, which changed to 3.85 ± 0.32, 3.90 ± 0.39, and 3.69 ± 0.34, respectively, in three groups following intervention. Post intervention, plaque scores and gingival scores significantly improved in groups 1 and 3 but worsened in group 2. Overall, knowledge scores improved in groups 1 and 3 for some questions, but improvement was not noted in some questions. CONCLUSION: Under the limitations of the study, it was found that peer role models were as effective as dental professionals in providing DHE in schools.

Composites have been revealed to be the most promising and selecting material known in the 21st century. Currently, the automobile industry is seeking lightweight materials that provide great strength. In this regard, there is a growing appeal for natural and synthetic fibre reinforced composites. The combination of natural and synthetic fibres may be employed as reinforcement in this study, and epoxy polymer can be used as the matrix material. The main characteristics of bamboo fibre are its ability to decompose naturally, its strong resistance to stretching, and its lightweight nature. Multiple investigations have shown that bamboo fibres are not fully utilised as a reinforcing material in composite research. As a result, using bamboo fibres in composite manufacturing opens up more possibilities for developing cost-effective engineering goods. The effect of carbon fibre and Silicon carbide on bamboo was investigated experimentally in this research. Hand 1ay-up method with Epoxy LY556 resin & K-6 hardener was used to create the bamboo laminates. The effects of Carbon Fibre and Silicon carbide reinforcing with bamboo fibres for the determination of its mechanical properties, its physical properties were investigated using bamboo fibres filled in epoxy resin at various weight percent. The adoption of Lean Six Sigma has become increasingly widespread in manufacturing industries worldwide. It is a powerful methodology for optimizing operational efficiency and quality, leading to increased productivity, reduced costs, and higher customer satisfaction. However, implementing LSS effectively, especially in Indian manufacturing sectors striving for sustainability, presents significant challenges. In this paper, the authors have presented the critical factors that impede the successful integration of sustainable Lean Six Sigma practices within the Indian manufacturing landscape. Through a systematic review of existing literature and empirical studies, authors have identified the eighteen failure factors. To prioritize these factors, authors have employed the Best Worst Method (BWM), a decision-making tool that aids in ranking factors based on their importance and impact. It is a multi-criterion decision-making (MCDM) methodology to solve different types of fact-based decision--making problems. This method involves initially identifying the best (most important) and worst (least important) factors, followed by pairwise comparisons to determine their relative significance. Results depict that "Failure of leadership to inspire and motivate", "Lack of well-defined framework for executing initiatives", and "High implementation cost and poor estimation of cost" are three top-level critical failure factors. After Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second biggest aging-related condition worldwide. Dementia, cognitive impairment, and motor impairment are the results of a gradual degeneration of neurons that produce dopamine in the substantia nigra pars compacta and other areas of the brain. The sole goals of current therapeutic approaches, such L-dopa medication, are to reduce symptoms and slow the disease's development. Since PD currently has no known treatment, prevention is more crucial than ever. Numerous significant risk factors have been identified by more than ten years of research, including mitochondrial dysfunction and oxidative stress. The majority of current pharmaceutical treatments for Parkinson's disease (PD), the most prevalent neurological movement disorder in the world, focus on symptom relief and are frequently accompanied with unfavorable side effects during extended use. In spite of this, they continue to be the primary PD treatment because there aren't any better options. Many natural remedies derived from fruits, vegetables, and medicinal plants can be used to treat Parkinson's disease (PD). Apart from their widely recognized anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory properties, these organic compounds also function as inhibitors in processes related to iron accumulation, protein misfolding, proteasomal breakdown maintenance, mitochondrial homeostasis, and various other neuroprotective mechanisms. The development of nutraceuticals— compounds obtained from whole food sources with potential therapeutic uses—has made it possible to employ several approaches to treat neurodegenerative illnesses like Parkinson's disease. Notably, because nutraceuticals are naturally produced chemicals and may thus have less adverse effects, they are able to market themselves as a "safer" approach. We will examine a few of the significant efforts that have been made to better understand the function of nutraceuticals in Parkinson's disease (PD) in this review. In general, these substances work by modifying signaling pathways, preventing oxidative stress, inflammation, and apoptosis, and controlling mitochondrial homoeostasis. Crucially, we will describe how the active ingredient in green tea, epigallocatechin-3-gallate, activates AMP kinase to give neuroprotection in Parkinson's disease (PD) and explain how its positive effects may be attributed to improving mitochondrial excellence of quality. Summary: Grid‐tied photovoltaic system (GTPS) are widely favored due to their inherent benefits. The interface of parallel power electronic converters in these systems is rapidly increasing. The inverter in GTPS has a very important role in power conversion, transfer, and control. However, their challenging working conditions contribute to susceptibility to power switching device failures. Traditional fault diagnosis and tolerant approaches exhibit limitations in control efficiency, model dependency, and slow recovery from fault. This study proposes a multi‐agent twin delayed deep deterministic policy gradient (MATD3PG) configuration for intelligent parallel inverter control, fault diagnosis, and fault‐tolerant operation in GTPS structure. By leveraging the multi‐agent reinforcement learning (RL) framework, an optimal control of the parallel inverter can be achieved, encompassing fault‐tolerant operation using MATLAB Simulink/PLECS. The major advantage the given technique offers is that it carries out optimum fault‐tolerant operation without causing the system derating. Experimental findings demonstrate that the proposed fault‐tolerant model based on RL traditional methods is able to ensure continuous supply to the connected loads even during fault events. Further, the transition time from fault occurrence to recovery is found to be 6 ms, which is quite less compared with the fault‐tolerant techniques presented in literature. Through real‐time fault diagnosis‐based results, the proposed approach ensures precise tracking of reference currents, quicker response times, uninterrupted supply, and smooth transition to the post‐fault operation mode. The project involves a vehicle equipped with a metal detector and diffusing system, controllable via Bluetooth technology from an Android device. This vehicle can move in all directions using Bluetooth commands from the Android app. Upon detecting a metal mine, the vehicle automatically stops and sends a signal to the Android device. It can then move backward and activate the diffusing system, which includes a cutter and water sprinkler. A wireless video camera module, the ESP32cam, is mounted on the vehicle to provide live video of the surroundings. The operator can analyze this video feed remotely to assess situations and control the vehicle accordingly. A small robot prototype demonstrates the concept practically, controlled via Bluetooth technology. The robot features DC motors for movement and a metal detector at the front. The metal detector sends signals to an Arduino microcontroller, which relays information to the Android device.
