The steppe viper (Vipera renardi (= ursinii) Christoph, 1861) is a background species of snakes in the steppe zone of southern left-bank Ukraine. This species is a figurant in the Red Book of Ukraine and is protected in accordance with the Bern Convention. According to the IUCN Red List, Vipera renardi has a Vulnerable species (VU) status, which is assigned to species that are under threat of becoming endangered. Anthropogenic transformation, namely, plowing, afforestation, irrigated agriculture, fires, synanthropization, etc., lead to the fact that in the Black Sea steppe, in the Lower Dnieper arenas of steppe, the viper disappears. This species has been preserved in the protected areas of the region and in the less transformed areas of the coastal and sandy steppe. The study area includes the forest-steppe areas of the Black Sea Biosphere Reserve (BSBR) and the territory of the “Svyatoslav’s Biloberezhzhya” National Nature Park (NNP BS) on the Kinburn Peninsula, the Black Sea areas and the islands of Tendrivska and Yahorlytska Bays, which are part of the Black Sea Biosphere Reserve. The dynamics of the number of steppe vipers also depends on abiotic factors too. In wetter years and the next 1-2 years, the number of vipers in the region decreases. In dry years, the number of steppe vipers increases. In the last 20 years, according to the results of long-term monitoring, the dynamics of the steppe viper population has a negative trend both in the Black Sea steppe and in the arenas of the Lower Dnieper.The cyclic dynamics of the steppe viper in our region is 3-5 years, the highest amplitude is 1.4 units, the maximum values of the relative abundance over the past 20 years have decreased from 1.5 to 0.4 ind./km, the minimum - from 0.3 to 0,1 ind./km. To preserve the population of this species in the south of the left-bank Ukraine, it is necessary to increase the areas with limited use of natural resources, namely, with the prohibition of plowing, prevention of excessive grazing and exploitation of sand deposits. In addition, it is required to strengthen environmental education and propaganda among the local population about the need to preserve the steppe viper in natural conditions and change the hypertrophied thought about the danger of this snake. The extensive network of protected areas in the region: reserves, national nature parks, regional landscape parks, protected tracts, etc., contributes to the conservation of this species. The results of 526 transrectal prostatic biopsies are available. Mean age of the patients was 64.6 years, mean level of PSA--10.4 ng/ml, mean size of the prostate--56 cm3. Biopsy was made in visualization of the prostate in the sagittal projection (ultrasound devices BruelKjaer 1846 and Kretz Voluson 730). Application of BruelKjaer Medical 2102 Hawk provides visualization of the prostate during biopsy both in sagittal and cross projection. Double visualization significantly improved detectability of prostatic cancer in patients with PSA 4-10 ng/ml. In biopsy of the top and peripheral zone there was lengthening of prostatic tissue fragments, reduced fragmentation of the columns, less frequent blank shots of the biopsy gun. The data obtained supports the importance of isolated placement and marking of prostatic tissue fragments in biopsy and allow to recommend wide clinical use of ultrasonic facilities with biplanic sensors providing online sagittal and cross visualization of the prostate.

Three-dimentional (3D) ultrasound investigation (USI) covered 60 patients with various prostatic diseases. 3D USI was made with a computer tomographic device "Echotom-3D" allowing getting three-dimentinal images on two-dimentional scanners as well as 1846 scanner ("BK Ultrasound Systems", Denmark), sensors 3.5, 5.0 and 7.0 MHz. Transabdominal, perineal and transrectal 3D USI were performed. These proved highly effective in diagnosis of prostatic diseases.

The dissection of coccygeal duct and closing the wound with a through perforated bathing drainage under modified epidural-sacral anaesthesia has been clinically approved. The operation was performed 3-4 days after two-step opening and cleaning of the abscess. The epithelial duct that doesn't have abscess symptoms should be dissected in one step operation. 68 patients underwent one-step surgery and in 125 cases two-step surgery has been done. The average time of staying in hospital was 15.3 days and 19.1 days, respectively. The double-step surgery of epithelial coccygeal duct decreases the level of postoperative septic complications and improves the functional and cosmetic results of the treatment.

Some representative potentials of the anharmonic‐oscillator type are constructed. Some corresponding spectra‐shift operators are also constructed. These operators are a natural generalization of Fok creation and annihilation operators. The Schrodinger problem for these potentials leads to an equidistant energy spectrum for all excited states, which are separated from the ground state by an energy gap. The general properties of the dynamic system generated by spectral‐shift operators of third degree are analyzed. Several examples of such anharmonic oscillators are discussed. The relationship between the eigenvectors of the Schrodinger problem and a certain type of nonclassical orthogonal polynomials is established.

In the present work, this analysis is carried out for the example of the POCls molecule-one of the simplest compounds in this series. Since we did not have available all the necessary experimental data, the complete analysis was carried out only for the completely symmetric vibrations. The model of the molecule and the symbols adopted for the coordinates are shown in Fig. 1. The calculation was carried out by the familiar procedure [7]. The experimental values of the intensities used in the calculation, which were taken from [4] (marked with an asterisk) or determined by us, are given in Table 1. The other data required were calculated or taken from the preliminary solution of the mechanical problem. By substituting these values in the equations describing the intensities of the infrared absorption bands [7], we obtain a system of linear equations containing eight unknowns (six combinations of electro-optical parameters and two bond dipole moments). Because of the lack of experimental data, the number of equations is, in fact, smaller. Moreover, the replacement of 016 in the POC13 molecule by 018 is extremely ineffective. The intensity of the bands changes little when this replacement is carried out, and the forms of the vibration and rotation of the bonds for the PO16Cla and POlSCls molecules are also very similar.* As a result, we have a system of five equations with eight unknowns.

A technique of subfascial electrocoagulation of the communicating shin veins through an endoscope in 53 patients with varicose dilatation of the lower extremity veins and postthrombophlebitis syndrome is described. The technique is not complicated and gives good cosmetic results.

Durch Reaktion des Dichlorids (I) in Chloroform mit wasrigem (15)N-Ammoniak bei 0°C wird das Diamid (II) (Ausbeute 65%) dargestellt; eine Dehydratisierung dieses Diamids mit POCl3 in Gegenwart von Al-chlorid in siedendem Acetonitril liefert das Dinitril (III) (51%).
