Abstract: We report directed flow (v1) of multistrange baryons (Ξ and Ω) and improved v1 data for K−, p¯, Λ¯ and ϕ in Au+Au collisions at sNN=27 and 200 GeV from the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). We focus on particles whose constituent quarks are not transported from the incoming nuclei but instead are produced in the collisions. At intermediate impact parameters, we examine quark coalescence behavior for particle combinations with identical quark content, and search for any departure from this behavior (“splitting”) for combinations having non-identical quark content. Under the assumption of quark coalescence for produced quarks, the splitting strength appears to increase with the electric charge difference of the constituent quarks in the combinations, consistent with electromagnetic effect expectations.

Abstract: We report on the charged-particle multiplicity dependence of net-proton cumulant ratios up to sixth order from s=200 GeV p+p collisions at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). The measured ratios C4/C2, C5/C1, and C6/C2 decrease with increased charged-particle multiplicity and rapidity acceptance. Neither the Skellam baselines nor PYTHIA8 calculations account for the observed multiplicity dependence. In addition, the ratios C5/C1 and C6/C2 approach negative values in the highest-multiplicity events, which implies that thermalized QCD matter may be formed in p+p collisions.

Abstract: We report the first measurements of cumulants, up to 4th order, of deuteron number distributions and proton-deuteron correlations in Au+Au collisions recorded by the STAR experiment in phase-I of Beam Energy Scan (BES) program at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider. Deuteron cumulants, their ratios, and proton-deuteron mixed cumulants are presented for different collision centralities covering a range of center-of-mass energy per nucleon pair sNN=7.7 to 200 GeV. It is found that the cumulant ratios at lower collision energies favor a canonical ensemble over a grand canonical ensemble in thermal models. An anti-correlation between proton and deuteron multiplicity is observed across all collision energies and centralities, consistent with the expectation from global baryon number conservation. The UrQMD model coupled with a phase-space coalescence mechanism qualitatively reproduces the collision-energy dependence of cumulant ratios and proton-deuteron correlations.

Abstract: The differential cross section for Z0 production, measured as a function of the boson's transverse momentum (pT), provides important constraints on the evolution of the transverse momentum dependent parton distribution functions (TMDs). The transverse single spin asymmetry (TSSA) of the Z0 is sensitive to one of the polarized TMDs, the Sivers function, which is predicted to have the opposite sign in p+p →W/Z+X from that which enters in semi-inclusive deep inelastic scattering. In this Letter, the STAR Collaboration reports the first measurement of the Z0/γ⁎ differential cross section as a function of its pT in p+p collisions at a center-of-mass energy of 510 GeV, together with the Z0/γ⁎ total cross section. We also report the measurement of Z0/γ⁎ TSSA in transversely polarized p+p collisions at 510 GeV.

Abstract: We report results on an elastic cross section measurement in proton–proton collisions at a center-of-mass energy s=510 GeV, obtained with the Roman Pot setup of the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). The elastic differential cross section is measured in the four-momentum transfer squared range 0.23≤−t≤0.67 GeV2. This is the only measurement of the proton-proton elastic cross section in this t range for collision energies above the Intersecting Storage Rings (ISR) and below the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) colliders. We find that a constant slope B does not fit the data in the aforementioned t range, and we obtain a much better fit using a second-order polynomial for B(t). This is the first measurement below the LHC energies for which the non-constant behavior B(t) is observed. The t dependence of B is also determined using six subintervals of t in the STAR measured t range, and is in good agreement with the phenomenological models. The measured elastic differential cross section dσ/dt agrees well with the results obtained at s=540 GeV for proton–antiproton collisions by the UA4 experiment. We also determine that the integrated elastic cross section within the STAR t-range is σelfid=462.1±0.9(stat.)±1.1(syst.)±11.6(scale) μb.

Abstract: Density fluctuations near the QCD critical point can be probed via an intermittency analysis in relativistic heavy-ion collisions. We report the first measurement of intermittency in Au+Au collisions at sNN = 7.7-200 GeV measured by the STAR experiment at the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC). The scaled factorial moments of identified charged hadrons are analyzed at mid-rapidity and within the transverse momentum phase space. We observe a power-law behavior of scaled factorial moments in Au+Au collisions and a decrease in the extracted scaling exponent (ν) from peripheral to central collisions. The ν is consistent with a constant for different collisions energies in the mid-central (10-40%) collisions. Moreover, the ν in the 0-5% most central Au+Au collisions exhibits a non-monotonic energy dependence that reaches a minimum around sNN = 27 GeV. The physics implications on the QCD phase structure are discussed.

Abstract: The linear and mode-coupled contributions to higher-order anisotropic flow are presented for Au+Au collisions at sNN = 27, 39, 54.4, and 200 GeV and compared to similar measurements for Pb+Pb collisions at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). The coefficients and the flow harmonics' correlations, which characterize the linear and mode-coupled response to the lower-order anisotropies, indicate a beam energy dependence consistent with an influence from the specific shear viscosity (η/s). In contrast, the dimensionless coefficients, mode-coupled response coefficients, and normalized symmetric cumulants are approximately beam-energy independent, consistent with a significant role from initial-state effects. These measurements could provide unique supplemental constraints to (i) distinguish between different initial-state models and (ii) delineate the temperature (T) and baryon chemical potential (μB) dependence of the specific shear viscosity ηs(T,μB).

Abstract: A decisive experimental test of the Chiral Magnetic Effect (CME) is considered one of the major scientific goals at the Relativistic Heavy-Ion Collider (RHIC) towards understanding the nontrivial topological fluctuations of the Quantum Chromodynamics vacuum. In heavy-ion collisions, the CME is expected to result in a charge separation phenomenon across the reaction plane, whose strength could be strongly energy dependent. The previous CME searches have been focused on top RHIC energy collisions. In this Letter, we present a low energy search for the CME in Au+Au collisions at sNN=27 GeV. Abstract: The immune system is an intricate network of various types of cells and proteins that defends the body against infectious diseases. Once the body encounters a pathogenic microorganism, the immune system gets activated and creates a defence mechanism to defeat it and at the same time retains its memory. In future, if the body encounters the same pathogen, it recognises and destroys the pathogen quickly. The whole pathophysiological mechanism involved in this process of defending the body and keeping a record of every pathogen it has encountered, is briefly elucidated. The paper presents a concise description that captures essential nature of immunobiology such as different types of immunity, components of immune system, role of each component and how complement proteins make a functional bridge between two types of immune system. 12. Impact of CFLD on production and productivity of summer moong

Abstract: KVKs organised farming and extension activities for farmers and extension workers to demonstrate the production potential of newly released technologies on the farmer’s fields at a different location in a given farming system and they conducted cluster frontline demonstrations (CFLDs) to demonstrate the production potential of newly released technologies on the farmer’s fields at a different location in a given farming system. Frontline Cluster Summer moong demonstrations were held by Krishi Vigyan Kendra, JNKVV, Narsinghpur in several villages throughout the district with the goal of increasing moong production and productivity using the most up-to-date and particular technologies. For the demonstrations, a moong type of medium duration PDM 139 was used. Farmers used a comprehensive set of methods, including seed rate, biofertilizer treatment, Trichoderma viride, fertiliser application based on soil test value, weed and water management, and IPM practises. The results of front-line demonstrations revealed that farmers’ practises resulted in a 24 per cent increase in moong output. It was also discovered that front-line demonstrations had a larger gross and net return than local checks, according to the statistics. In CFLD, gross and net returns were determined to be Rs. 73338 and Rs. 49838, respectively, whereas in farmer’s practises, they were Rs. 58958 and Rs. 37458. It was also observed from the data of front line demonstration recorded higher gross return and net return as compared to local check. The gross and net returns were found Rs. 73338 and Rs.49838 in CFLD while in farmer’s practices these were found Rs. 58958 and Rs. 37458, respectively.

13. Yield and economic performance of various rice-based copping systems in central India

Abstract: The current experiment was done at the research farm of Jawaharlal Nehru Krishi Vishwa Vidyalaya (JNKVV), Jablapur, Madhya Pradesh, in 2011-12 and 2012-13 to investigate rice performance under various rice-based cropping strategies. During the study period, 12 rice-based farming systems were investigated, including rice, wheat, chickpea, onion-green gramme, berseem, potato-sesame, gobhi sarson-black gramme, vegetable pea-sesame, potato-ground nut, gobhi sarson-sorghum, gobhi sarsonokra, french bean and marigold-sesame.Rice equivalent yield (REY), crop duration, gross monetary returns, cost of cultivation, net monetary returns and the benefit to cost (B:C) ratio were used to evaluate the performance of various rice-based cropping systems. Among the six cropping systems tested, the REY was found highest in the rice-gobhi sarson-okra cropping sequence (174.05 q ha-1) followed by rice-marigold-sesame (140.18 q ha-1).

Abstract: We developed a facile and efficient synthesis of novel monocyclic cis-β-lactam conjugates with a 1-methyl-1H-imidazole-2-thiol nucleus through a ketene-imine [2+2] cycloaddition reaction of acyl chloride and different Schiff bases. The important and attractive features of this synthesis are the readily available starting materials, easy aqueous workup, no column chromatography needed, a simple purification process, and a satisfactory yield. The newly synthesized products were characterized by spectral techniques. Purification of the obtained products was easily accomplished by the crystallization process. Abstract: A series of novel monocyclic cis-β-lactams were prepared from phenoxyacetic acid as ketene source and imines derived from 1-chloro-3,4-dihydronaphthalene-2-carbaldehyde and respective amine using ethyl 4,5-dichloro-6-oxopyridazine-1(6H)-carboxylate (or 2-ethoxy carbonyl DCPN) as a carboxylic acid activator. This is the first time 2-ethoxy carbonyl DCPN has been used as an acid activator in synthesis of β-lactams. The reaction was entirely diastereoselective leading to the formation cis-β-lactam derivatives. These newly synthesized cis-β-lactam were fully characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HRMS, CHNS and X-ray crystallography study. All this novel compound was also evaluated for their antibacterial and antifungal activities against certain strains of Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria and fungi. These compounds displayed moderate activity against using bacterial and fungal strains.

Abstract: In the present investigation, we report the synthesis and characterization of three novel nickel(II) [Ni(L)2] (1) and copper(II) [Cu(L)2] (2a) and [Cu(L)2] (2b) complexes, which are made through the coordination of (E)-1-(2-methoxybenzylidine)-4-phenylethiosemicarbazone (HL) as bidentate N,S-ligand. Several modern techniques including experimental electronic and fluorescence spectroscopy, single-crystal X-ray crystallography, molecular docking and BSA-binding are used to characterize the isolated coordination compounds. X-ray crystallography, FT-IR and UV–visible spectra agree with the observed crystal structures. The crystallographic and spectroscopic studies confirmed that these complexes display four-coordinate square-planar trans-[MN2S2] coordination geometry, whose central metal(II) atom lies on the center of symmetry. Complexes 1 and 2a crystallized in the orthorhombic system of the space group Pbca whereas 2b crystallized in the monoclinic system of P21/c. The binding affinity of complexes towards bovine serum albumin (BSA) was determined by UV–visible and fluorescence spectrophotometric methods. The cytotoxic/antiproliferative potential of the synthesized compounds on human cell lines was also investigated by MTT assay.

Abstract: A series of new dimer complexes of copper (II) and nickel (II) were designed and synthesized using the Schiff base ligands which was formed by the condensation of 2-aminothiophenol with 2- methoxybenzaldehyde, 3-formylbenzonitrile and 3-bromo-2-hydroxy-5-nitrobenzaldehyde, respectively. The synthesized metallic complexes were characterized by using different physicochemical and spectroscopic methods. The most plausible geometry for the 1:2 complexes appeared to be distorted square-planar or tetrahedral environments. All the synthesized metal complexes are found to be binuclear and confirmed by elemental analyses, magnetic susceptibility measurements and ESR spectroscopy. The Schiff base ligands (HL1/HL2/H2L) were coordinated to the metal ions through the ONS/SNN and/or N, S donor atoms. In order to prevent the oxidation of the thiol group during the formation of Schiff bases and its complexes, all of the reactions were carried out under an inert atmosphere of argon. The X-ray structures of the Schiff base ligands showed that in the crystalline form the SH groups were oxidized to produce a disulfide Schiff bases as a new double Schiff base ligands (L1a/L2a/H2La). The L1b ligand is a bicyclic ring system of N, S-containing heterocyclic. The crystal structures of the double Schiff bases were determined by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The molar conductivity values of the complexes in DMSO implied the presence of non-electrolyte species. The SOD-like activity of Schiff bases and its complexes were investigated by NBT-DMSO assay and IC50 values were evaluated. Their biological properties have also been studied. These complexes were also tested for their in vitro antibacterial screening activities against three bacteria (Streptococcus aureus, Salmonella typhi, and Escherichia coli) comparing with the Schiff base ligands. Most of the complexes have higher antibacterial activities than those of the free Schiff bases, double Schiff bases and the control.

The TG–DTA analysis of complex (1) and (2) exhibits an exothermic peaks at around 367–393 °C. Their inhibition studies was performed on urease. Complex (1) and (2) can inhibit urease activity, with IC50 values of 2.10 ± 0.06 and 2.10 ± 0.10 µmol L−1, respectively. Their DFT study were also discussed.

Its inhibitory activity against Helicobacter pylori urease was evaluated in vitro and showed strong inhibitory activity against H. pylori urease compared with acetohydroxamic acid (IC50 = 42.12 μmolL−1), which is a positive reference. A docking analysis using the AutoDock 4.0 program could explain the inhibitory activity of the complex against urease.

Complex[Ni(L1)2]·DMF(1) crystallized in the Triclinic system of the space group P-1, a = 8.9954(3) A, b = 9.4593(4) A, c = 13.2657(5) A, α = 101.478°, β = 99.595°, γ = 117.651°and Z = 2, whereas complex [Ni(L2)2]·(2) crystallized in the Monoclinic system of the space group P21/c, a = 9.301(9)A, b = 12.149(8)A, c = 13.792(10)A, α = 90°, β = 106.35(4).°, γ = 90°and Z = 2. The Schiff bases (HL1and HL2) behaved as monobasic bidentate ligands possessing N and O donor atoms. Complex (1a) of HL was crystallized in the monoclinic system of the space group P21/c, a = 10.1712(9) A, b = 10.9299(10) A,c = 12.7684(11) A,α = 90,β = 104.649(2), γ = 90 and Z = 2 whereas complex (1b) and (2) crystallized in the triclinic system of the space group P-1, a = 11.499(5)A, b = 11.598(5)A, c = 12.211(5)A, α = 98.860(5), β = 115.653(5),γ = 100.906(5) and Z = 2 for (1b), a = 9.080(6) A, b = 9.545(8)A, c = 9.545(8)A, α = 101.43(4)o,β = 99.63(3), γ = 117.71(2)o and Z = 1 for (2). The synthesized ligand (HL) was behaved as monobasic bidentate Schiff base ligand having N and O donor sites. The electron paramagnetic resonance spectra indicate a dx2–y2ground state (g|| > g⊥> 2.0023) for (1a) and (1b). Copper (II) complexes display X-band EPR spectra in 100% DMSO and 77 K, giving indicating dx2–y2ground state. Superoxide dismutase-like activities of HL and its complexes were investigated by nitrobluetetrazolium chloride-DMSO assay and IC50 values were evaluated. These complexes were also tested for their in vitro antimicrobial activities against two bacteria (E. coli and Salmonella typhi) and two fungi (Pencillium, Aspergillus sp.) comparing with the Schiff base. The antimicrobial results showed that the complexes were more biologically active compounds to the Schiff base (HL).

Abstract: In the present paper we examine the pulsatile hydromagnetic flow and heat transfer of a non-Newtonian biofluid through a saturated non-Darcian porous medium channel. The upper plate of the channel is heated and the lower plate is cooled. The Nakamura-Sawada rheological model is employed which provides a higher yield stress than the Casson model. A Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium drag force model is incorporated to simulate blood vessel blockage with deposits in the cardiovascular system. Viscous heating is also included in the energy equation. The governing conservation equations for mass, momentum and energy equation are transformed into a system of nonlinear, coupled ordinary differential equations and these are solved numerically using finite element method. The effect of other important parameters such as magnetohydrodynamic parameter (Nm), Reynolds number (Re), Eckert number (Ec), Darcian parameter (), Forchheimer parameter (NF) and Prandtl number on velocity and temperature profiles are studied graphically. Spatial-temporal velocity and temperature profile visualizations are also presented. Numerical results shows that normalized fluid velocity (U) increases throughout the channel (-1 < Y < 1) with an increase in Reynolds number, Darcian parameter, steady pressure gradient parameter and rheological parameter; conversely velocity is decreased with the increase in magnetic parameter and Forchheimer quadratic drag parameter. Higher Eckert number (Ec = 3) is also found to have a considerable effect on temperature () profile. Finite difference numerical computations are also compared with the finite element solutions to verify efficiency and accuracy.

Abstract: This paper outlines the efficient and eco-friendly synthesis of twenty monocyclic cis-β-lactam derivatives, their spectral analysis, X-ray crystallographic study, computational analysis and antimicrobial activity assay. This is the first time that, 2-methoxy carbonyl DCPN has been used as an activator of acid to generate in situ ketene in synthesis of β-lactams. The synthesis of β-lactam derivatives was completely diastereoselective leading to the formation of cis-stereoisomers exclusively. All these novel cis-β-lactam derivatives were fully characterized by FT-IR, 1H NMR, 13C NMR, HRMS, CHNS and X-ray crystallography study. we use quantum chemical analysis on selected derivatives from both the series to explore their potential optical and nonlinear optical (NLO) properties by calculating their absorption energies and third-order NLO polarizability, respectively. The third-order NLO polarizability values for derivatives 5ad and 5bd (with NO2 fragments) are found to be as large as 205.05 × 10−36 and 203.88 × 10−36 esu, respectively, which are about 10 times larger than that of p-NA (a prototype NLO molecule). The calculation of frontier molecular orbitals (FMOs) and molecular electrostatic potential (MEPs) maps indicates the intramolecular charge process as origin of larger NLO amplitudes. Additionally, all this novel compound was also evaluated for their antimicrobial activities against certain strains of bacteria and fungi. These derivatives displayed, comparatively good to moderate activity against selected microbial strains. Thus, it is believed that the present newly synthesized monocyclic cis-β-lactam derivatives are multifunctional in nature and prove to be very important in material science and chemistry.

Abstract: Our aim was to establish the recurrence rate of odontogenic myxoma after different treatments. Our search covered papers from 1972-2017 from different sources. The papers were evaluated and critically appraised by two independent investigators. The recurrence rate and 95% CI were calculated in relation to each specific treatment, and the chi squared test was calculated to find out if there was any significant difference in the recurrence rate between conservative treatment and resection. The overall recurrence rate was 5 of 39 patients (13%) during a mean follow up period of 10 years. With conservative treatment the recurrence rate was 4/22 (19%) (mean follow up 11 years) and after resection it was 1/17 (6%) (mean follow up nine years). Maxillary lesions were more likely to recur than mandibular ones. Quality of life variables such as disfigurement and neural deficit were more common after resection than with conservative treatment. The frequency of recurrence was relatively low over 10 years' follow up, irrespective of whether resection or a more conservative approach was used, despite being slightly lower (as might be expected) after resection. Conservative treatment should be considered first to avoid resection-associated morbidity and the effect on the quality of life. Maxillary lesions have more room to spread before they are clinically evident, making them difficult to treat optimally and contributing to the recurrence rate.

39. Velocity of ground water percolation at Indaram, Godavari sub-basin, India

Abstract: We present values of velocity of ground water percolation (Vg) over large depth intervals, varying from shallow to deeper depths in Indaram area of Godavari sub-basin. The velocities have been estimated using available measured geothermal data. Sub-surface temperatures were measured in seven boreholes. Terrestrial heat flow values are calculated using temperature data and measured values of thermal conductivity of core samples. The results show that Vg is ∼3.4 ×10−7 cm /sec in the top layers (70–150 m) and decreases to ∼0.04×10−7 cm/sec in the deeper levels around 350 m depth and becomes negligibly small thereafter, thereby, indicating that the overall permeability of the sub-surface layers, due to the occurrence of successions of permeable, semi-permeable layers gets reduced to more or less zero at depths around 350 m. The value of Thermal Peclet Number, which is the ratio of the heat transfer through convection to that through conduction, naturally becomes negligible around this depth in the area. The observed consistency of the magnitude of heat flow through various deep sections is a clear indicator that water percolation is practically reduced to zero at depths around 320–400 m and that conduction is the dominant mechanism of heat transfer below the inferred depth section, while the upper layers are dominated by recharge at various depths by near surface water from streams at Indaram.

Abstract: The complexes of Co(II), Ni(II), Cu(II), Zn(II) and Cd(II) with 1E-1-(1H-Benzimidazol-2-yl)-N- hydroxy-ethanimine (Hbhe) and 1E-1-(1H-Benzimidazol-2-yl)-N-hydroxy-1-phenylmethanimine (Hbhpm) of compositions (M(HL)2Cl2), (M=Co II , or Ni II and HL=Hbhe or Hbhpm), (M(HL)X2), (M=CuII, ZnII or CdII, HL=Hbhe or Hbhpm and X=Cl or Br ) and ML2.nH2O, (M=Co II , Ni II , Cu II , Zn II or Cd II , HL=Hbhe or Hbhpm and n= 0 or 2 ) have been prepared and characterised by electrical conductance value, magnetic susceptibility and spectral studies. The anti- fungal activity of ligands and neutral bis-chelates ML2.nH2O was investigated by growth inhibition method. The complexes exhibited enhanced activity than free ligands.

Abstract: — The geothermal structure beneath a seismoactive region of central India has been determined by using two independent geophysical parameters, i.e., P n velocity and Curie point depth, which are temperature dependent. P n velocity has been determined by reanalyzing deep seismic sounding (DSS) records obtained for this region. Surface heat flow has been computed using the P n velocity data from this region and found to be 55 ± 5 mW m−2. Curie point depths have been derived from the magnetic satellite data in this region, and reveal an identical value of heat flow of around 56 ± 4 mW m−2. We estimated temperatures of 600–700°C at a Moho depth of 39 km by using surface heat flow ranging from 50 to 60 mW m−2 and a simple 1-D geothermal model. The present study suggests the presence of a brittle–ductile transition (high strength) zone ranging in depth from 20 to 35 km, where the temperatures range from 350 to 550°C. We also suggest that the nucleation of earthquakes in this region took place in a relatively high strength zone. This is supported by the fact that the focal depths of all the recent earthquakes (from 1978 to 2000 of magnitude ≥ 3.5) lie in this zone of high strength.

Abstract: Measurements of surface heat flow density in various lithologies from the central parts of the Proterozoic Bastar Craton of the central Indian Shield have yielded heat flow values ranging from 51 to 64 mW m−2, with a mean value of 56 mW m−2 (standard deviation = ±6.1 mW m−2). These values are considerably higher than in the Archaean and Archaean to Early Proterozoic cratons of many Precambrian shields, but are compatible with the heat flow data from the Proterozoic Gawler Craton, central Australian Shield. It is inferred that (1) the contrast in surface heat flow between the Archaean and Proterozoic cratons is a consequence of the difference in the radiogenic heat production in their upper (10–20 km thick) crustal layers, and (2) the Proterozoic cratons, as these could also have enclaves of basic Archaean rocks, show a wide range of surface heat flow values controlled mainly by the varying amounts of upper crustal radiogenic heat source.

Taking into account the appropriate coordinate transformation and charge separation effect, the reduction perturbation method is used to derive an mKdV equation for a multicomponent magnetized plasma having two Maxwellian distributed electrons and two warm adiabatic ions. The double-layer solution of the mKdV equation was considered in detail. It is found that the width of the double layer increases as the obliqueness t is increased, where t is the angle between wave vector and magnetic field, while the effect of obliqueness on the amplitude of the double layer is negligible. The effect of finite ion temperature is to increase (decrease) the amplitude of the compressive (rarefactive) double layer and decrease (increase) its width. The effect of the concentration on second ion purity, and the concentration and the temperature ratios of two electron species on the amplitude and width of the double layer was also studied

Abstract: A correlation study among Pn velocity distribution, surface heat flow and other related thermal parameters for Southern Indian Shield reveals that Pn velocity decreases significantly in the regions where regional heat flow and Moho temperatures are high. These areas are associated with shallow Curie depth and thin lithosphere. The observed variation in Pn velocity beneath Western part of Peninsular India could be explained due to pressure-temperature effect. However, beneath the Cuddapah basin it is not merely due to pressure-temperature difference at upper most mantle but lateral inhomogeniety is also responsible for it.

Abstract: Based on temperature measurements in two boreholes, a high heat-flow density value of 96 ± 3.2 (s.d.) mW m−2 has been obtained for the Tusham area of the Trans-Aravalli region. This is the highest of all the heat-flow values so far obtained from the Mid-Late Proterozoic terrains of India and more than double that in the nearby Aravalli-Bundelkhand craton. It has been inferred that both the high crustal radioactive heat generation and the upper-mantle heat flow are responsible for the heat surface heat flow at Tusham.

Abstract: [EN] An experiment was conducted on 72 German Angora rabbits (42 youngs and 30 adults) divided into three groups to assess the effect of three experimental diets (T1, T2 and T3) with different levels of groundnut cake replaced by rice bran on their growth performance, wool yield, quality, and digestibility of nutrients. The inclusion rate of groundnut cake was decreased from 20 to 15 to 10% and that of rice bran increased from 13 to 18 to 23% in T1, T2 and T3, respectively. The same diets presented 16.1, 15.1 and 14.0% DM of crude protein and 11.3, 11.1 and 10.9 MJ/kg DM of digestible energy, respectively. All animals were kept under similar housing and management conditions and the experiment was continued for a period of 225 days (3 shearings). No significant effects of the experimental diets on body weight gain, wool yield and wool attributes were observed in young and adult rabbits.
