A new iterative algorithm is proposed for finding a common solution of an equilibrium problem and a fixed point problem. Then, a strong convergence theorem is proved. As a consequence, they can be obtained some strong convergence theorems for an equilibrium problem and a split common fixed point problem. The obtained theorems can be applied to solve an equilibrium problem and a split common null point problem. This paper focuses on deriving analytical solutions for three-dimensional projectile motion and investigating numerical approaches for handling these solutions. We derive the equations of projectile motion using both classical and fractional calculus, considering scenarios with and without air resistance. We analyze the characteristics of the projectile’s trajectory in both classical and fractional scenarios, providing a comparative study between them. Additionally, we propose an extrapolation method tailored to the nature of the motion equations to estimate projectile trajectories. The accuracy of our proposed method is assessed through the absolute error between exact and numerical solutions, with numerical examples provided to validate the theoretical analysis. A new iterative scheme is proposed for finding a common element of the solution set of a general system of variational inequalities, the solution set of an equilibrium problem and the common fixed point set of a countable family of nonexpansive mappings in a real Hilbert space. In this paper, we study the existence and the numerical estimates of the solutions for a set of fractional differential equations. The nonlinear part of the problem, however, presupposes certain hypotheses. Particularly, for the exact localization of the parameter, the existence of a non-zero solution is established, which requires the sublinearity of the nonlinear part at origin and infinity. The novelty of this paper is to use variational methods to obtain the multiplicity of solutions of boundary value problems with the nonlinearity depending on the fractional derivative. We are concerned with finding a common solution to an equilibrium problem associated with a bifunction, and a constrained convex minimization problem. We propose an iterative fixed point algorithm and prove that the algorithm generates a sequence strongly convergent to a common solution.
