Bu çalışma Türkiye’de rap müziğin üretim sürecine odaklanmaktadır. Popüler müzik konumunu güncelleyen rap yalnızca icracının değil; aynı zamanda düzenleyicinin, yapımcının, dinleyicinin vb. üyelerin de ürünüdür. Dolayısıyla kaçınılmaz olarak bir sanat dünyası inşa edilir ve bu sanat dünyasını sürdürme taktikleri izlenir. Bu nedenle çalışmada rapin üretim sürecindeki sanat dünyaları açığa çıkartılmaya çalışılmış, popüler kültüre eklemlenmesiyle bu dünyadaki değişimlere odaklanılmıştır. Rapin ortaklaşa inşasını keşfetmek üzere üçü kadın, on ikisi erkek olmak üzere toplamda on beş rap icracısı, dağıtıcısı ve düzenleyicisi ile derinlemesine mülakatlar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırma neticesinde rape isyan, öfke, muhaliflik, gerçeklik anlamları atfedildiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Bu ortak anlamlandırmalar vasıtasıyla rap bir gençlik altkültürüne işaret etmiştir. Dolayısıyla rapçiler öncülüğünde; gündelik yaşam pratiklerinin, belirli nesneler ve duyguların yeniden kurgulandığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Ancak rapin popüler kültüre eklemlenmesiyle birlikte; altkültürün muhalif tavrı yumuşamış, kültür içerisindeki cemaatleşmeler mikro cemaatlere bölünmüş, dinleyici-müzisyen/ müzisyen-müzisyen gerilimleri giderek şiddetlenmiştir. Neticede rapçilerin tek başına sürdürüyor göründüğü icra eylemi, perde arkasında bir dizi sosyal, kültürel, toplumsal süreçleri barındırdığı sonucuna ulaştırmış; toplumsal yaşamın diğer aktör ve ögeleri rapin sanat dünyasında bütünleştirici rol oynamıştır., This study focuses on the production process of rap music in Turkey. Updating the popular music position, rap is the product of not only the performer, but also the organizer, producer, listener, etc. Therefore, inevitably an art world is built and tactics are followed to maintain this world. Hence, in this study, the art worlds in the production process of rap were tried to be revealed and the changes in this world were focused on with its articulation to popular culture. In order to explore the collaborative structure of rap, in-depth interviews were conducted with a total of fifteen rap performers, distributors, and organizers, of whom three were women and twelve were men, as they were rap music's experiencers, listeners, and performers. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the meanings of rebellion, anger, opposition, and reality were attributed to rap. Through these common meanings, rap pointed to a youth subculture, and under the leadership of rappers, it emerged that daily life practices, certain objects, and emotions were fictionalized. However, with the articulation of rap into popular culture, the oppositional attitude of the subculture softened, the communities within the culture were divided into micro-communities, and the tensions between the listener and musician, musician and musician intensified. In conclusion, the performance act, which rappers seem to maintain alone, led to the outcome that there was a series of social, cultural, and societal processes behind the scenes; other actors and elements of social life played an integrating role in the art world of rap.
