The article presents the experience of organizing Masters’ research activities in the field «psychological and pedagogical education» at the Samara National Research University. Gradually, students are involved in activities to obtain scientific knowledge from texts of various types in scientific work; comprehend the subject of scientific work, the subject of scientific activity and the levels of pedagogical research. Attention is drawn to the conditions for obtaining reliable scientific knowledge in the course of scientific research: methodological competence and methodological literacy of the Master. As a methodological support for the process of mastering the methodology of scientific activity in the field of pedagogical science, the content of educational disciplines is presented in the form of a set of tools, tasks on practical methodology.

Basic training in scientific journal writing techniques is an important activity for undergraduate students in understanding the structure of scientific work. This research aims to investigate the impact of this training on improving students' writing skills. The training duration is one day with a total of 3 hours of intensive training. The number of participants involved in this research were 30 undergraduate students from various study programs. The training includes material on the structure of scientific work, effective writing techniques, and the correct use of references. After the training, participants are evaluated through a writing test to measure the improvement of their writing skills. Evaluation results showed significant improvements in participants' ability to organize information, construct coherent arguments, and cite references correctly. This training proves that with a good understanding of the structure of scientific papers and proper writing techniques, undergraduate students can improve their writing skills significantly. The implication of this research is the importance of providing scientific journal writing training to students to prepare them to face academic and professional demands in the future.

The article is devoted to the study of the features of processing large amounts of data using the Python programming language. Unlike tabular processors or finished software products, programming languages offer the user a flexible toolkit for the implementation of tasks. At the same time, this creates certain risks associated with the effectiveness of using appropriate tools and optimising the operation of the programme. The purpose of the article is to study the features of processing large amounts of data in Python on the examples of immediate research tasks. The relevance of the topic and purpose of the article is due to the existing scientific gap related to a comprehensive consideration of the technical aspects of the use of programming languages and associated tools for socio-economic research. Thus, many authors who use programming languages in their works rarely provide information regarding the advantages of certain algorithms or approaches. Within the framework of the article, the author examines the procedures and algorithm of processing a large array of data on the example of specific research tasks. The conclusions are drawn about the features and advantages of Python when working with large amounts of data as well as about the prospects for the development of the relevant scientific topics.

In a world where every individual strives to showcase his originality, peculiarities and traits that make him different from others through all possible means, whether we are talking about the style of clothing, the image on social media, hobbies, the language used, or the works read or created, this paper aims to discover how originality manifests in scientific works and what steps to follow in order to create the academic puzzle called a doctoral thesis, considering the pieces that don't seem to fit together, despite having multiple similar aspects: originality, plagiarism and similarity. These three concepts are of particular importance in the academic world, sparking intense discussions and within civil society in recent times, with profound implications for the integrity of research and the genuine understanding of individual academic contributions. In today’s information age, where access to resources and technologies is readily available to all, originality seems to constantly dilute, while the phenomenon of plagiarism is on the rise, becoming increasingly prominent and complex, diminishing trust in research studies and the work done. In the context in which doctoral theses should represent significant contributions to human knowledge, we aim that from this paper to clearly result the meaning and purpose of the three terms within the work intended to form the basis for awarding the doctoral title to its author .

This study attempts an analysis of the doctoral thesis from the perspective of copyright, specifically examining the prerogatives and limitations of copyright when a doctoral thesis is created. In this regard, the doctoral thesis is defined, and it is specified whether it benefits from moral copyright and what the concept and legal characteristics of moral copyright are. The legal framework is provided, and the most relevant doctrinal opinions are analysed, along with several examples from case law. Emphasis is placed on the content of moral copyright in the case of doctoral theses and their limitations.

This article presents Professor Joanicjusz Nazarko's outstanding achievements in research, scientific cooperation, teaching and organizational work, in celebration of the 45th jubilee of his scientific work. Over the years, Professor Nazarko has contributed significantly to the development of technical and social sciences in Poland. He authored more than 300 publications, which constitutes a substantial knowledge base on its own. Using bibliometric and statistical methods and techniques, we present an overview of Professor's most important scientific achievements and major works. We also highlight his efforts to establish a national and international network for scientific cooperation. Lastly, we present his didactic successes. The paper attempts to overcome subjectivism in the evaluation of dissertation research of the socio-humanitarian block, thus the positions of authors on this issue when measuring the identified scientific novelty are considered. The revealed contradictions that affect the subjective evaluation in the process of preparing and defending a dissertation are analysed. The author’s classification of novelty is proposed, having made possible to show its dependence on the amount of the studied sources. At present, the problem is not in determining the notion, but in determining what is already known. It is established that publication of “pure” and “local” author’s novelty contributes to its objective evaluation through procedures for protection of scientific works and defence of copyright. The current work substantiates the necessity to introduce a number of organisational and economic tools: video recording of the author’s speech at scientific conferences with the provisions to be defended for their comprehensive discussion; publication of draft conclusions on the dissertation of the Higher Attestation Commission’s expert council before its meeting; creation of an independent database of dissertation researches. It is concluded that the official publication of a scientific work as a civil-law me thod of its protection is an objective tool. It will help establish qualitative novelty in the dissertation and try to solve the problem of conventionality bet ween all interested subjects.

The significance of the research is established by the distinct legal structure encompassing scientific and technical information as a matter of civil rights. This framework is crucial for the progress of science and technology, not only within particular domains, but also on a national scale. The publication seeks to offer a thorough comprehension of the notion of scientific and technical information as a separate topic within the realm of civil rights and to highlight the distinctive attributes of this category and pinpoint any deficiencies in the current legal structure. Furthermore, the publication seeks to present remedies to rectify any discrepancies in legislation. The research was conducted using various primary methodologies, such as analysis, synthesis, formal-logical reasoning, and system-structural analysis. The publication comprehensively analyses the general normative understanding of "information" contained in the Civil Code of Ukraine and Law of Ukraine "On Information" and the consistency of this concept with the term "scientific and technical information" established by Law of Ukraine "On Scientific and Technical information". The scientific novelty is characterized by the proposal to distinguish a system of general and special features of scientific and technical information. It is suggested that the form of existence and the method of recording this type of information be attributed to the general characteristics, and the content of information and/or data and the method of obtaining it to the special ones. Turning to Law of Ukraine "On Scientific and Scientific and Technical Activity" it is worth noting that the inconsistency of the provisions of this normative legal act with such a special feature of scientific and technical information as the method of obtaining it. The publication explores the correlation between the terms "information" and "data". The research validates the theory that scientific and technical information can be subject to intellectual property rights, such as copyright and industrial property rights. The author's work proposes a legal framework to define scientific and technical information at the legislative level. The rise in acts of plagiarism of scientific work occurs due to a lack of awareness and understanding of students and academics about the ethics of scientific writing and the consequences of these actions. This research aims to describe the criteria for acts of plagiarism, legal sanctions for acts of plagiarism, efforts to resolve disputes over violations of acts of plagiarism, and strategies for preventing plagiarism in higher education. Type of normative juridical research with a statutory approach. Primary data sources include statutory regulations such as Regulation of the Minister of National Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 17 of 2010 concerning Prevention and Management of Plagiarism in Higher Education, and Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System. Secondary data consists of research journals concerned with the legal issue of plagiarism. The research results show that the act of taking or using someone else's creative work without stating the source appropriately and adequately is considered plagiarism. Acts of plagiarism can be subject to administrative sanctions or criminal sanctions. Administrative sanctions include warnings, written warnings, and cancellation of diplomas, while criminal sanctions include imprisonment for a certain period of time and a fine. If an act of plagiarism has occurred, an attempt can be made to resolve it through mediation, but if it cannot be resolved through mediation, then criminal action can be taken. Efforts to prevent plagiarism of scientific works in higher education are carried out through plagiarism-free statements, open access publication of scientific works, and administrative sanctions.

Introduction: This paper presents a deep analysis of the impact of the Russian occupation on the activities of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University in Ukraine. This reflection sheds light on numerous challenges faced by the university community under occupation due to the the Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine, particularly emphasizing human rights violations and academic freedom. Methods: Utilizing a qualitative research approach, this study employs document analysis, online surveys, and semi-structured interviews. Results: The findings reveal a profound impact of war and occupation on academic and physical freedom. We share the experiences of staff and students during life under occupation, which are filled with fear of violent actions by the occupiers. Berdyansk State Pedagogical University had to adapt to changing conditions, transitioning to a digital educational platform and decentralizing its structure while concurrently fulfilling its third mission: social service and support of the university community and Berdyansk local community.Discussion: Our research-reflective piece calls for immediate intervention and further research toward developing effective strategies to protect the rights of staff and students of higher educational institutions in conditions of war and occupation. We urge the academic community, civil society orgnisations, international orgnisations, and governments to direct their efforts to protect the rights of academic communities during war and occupation. Conclusions provide a critical view of the catastrophic consequences for academic communities and science if timely measures are not taken. An imposing figure of Romanian science and culture, Ion Simionescu (1873–1944) devoted his entire life to the study of nature, thus greatly enhancing the geological studies. Due to the nature of his interests, he would travel across the country, coming to know the beauties of the landscapes and, equally, the people in place. Through his conferences and writings, he urged the nation, especially the youth, to become aware of its main purpose: Romania's evolution and growth. His scientific contributions remain of invaluable support for the researchers who followed in his footsteps.

In the world market, success is achieved by the countries that have better human capital and allocate sufficient resources for its reproduction. One of the results of the growing enrollment of many universities has been the need for additional qualified teaching staff and advanced training, which has led to the need to retrain existing teachers for staffing the growing number of higher education institutions. The first of the major success factors in this endeavor is to ensure that teachers are motivated to earn a relatively adequate salary. In recent years, a number of RA universities have successfully applied the method of salary calculation, which is based on the principle that a teacher (professor, associate professor, assistant, etc.) receives a salary depending on his category and workload (number of hours per academic year). Another important component of the assessment is the real involvement of the teacher in scientific activities and, based on this, a method for calculating the salary of a teacher is proposed, taking into account, among other things, his scientific activity. In order to encourage the scientific activity of the teacher, an indicator of the effectiveness of his scientific activity is introduced, the measure of which is scientific work during the previous (three to five) years. This article focuses on the rise of university-industry research centers since the 2000s in France, in a context where national science policy has been increasingly driven by the belief that public research should support technological innovation. Drawing on a qualitative study of research practices and university-industry relations in the field of nanotechnology, it shows that the diffusion of this organizational form relies on two complementary mechanisms. By promoting long-term cooperation, it helps researchers to promote a scientific agenda in their industrial partnerships. But it is also a key asset in the competition with their peers, enhancing access to extra funding and symbolic status.

The scientific heritage of Ștefan Procopiu (1890–1972), reputed physicist, educator and member of Romanian Academy has an international dimension. His scientific works, reflected in a series of discoveries, opened new directions of research in physics, such as: depolarization of light through the suspension of crystalline particles (Procopiu’s phenomenon), the circular effect of demagnetization discontinuity manifested when an alternative electric current flows through a ferromagnetic wire (Procopiu’ effect – inverse Wiedemann effect), calculation of the magnetic moment of the electron (Bohr-Procopiu magneton), the first systematic measurement of terrestrial magnetism in Eastern Europe.

The task of calculating the productivity of collective scientific subjects is a relevant issue in scientometrics. This study formalized the problem of assessing productivity trends of collective scientific subjects. The TWPR-CI method for calculating the performance based on the modified PageRank algorithm is described. Formulas for calculating productivity have been derived that make it possible to take into account a change in the productivity of collective scientific subjects over time. The indicators of the basic average absolute change in performance and the chain average relative change in performance were chosen as the basis. To select promising, from the point of view of scientific work, collective subjects, preference is given to those whose basic average absolute change in productivity is positive or the chain average relative change in productivity exceeds unity. Verification of the method for assessing performance trends of collective scientific entities based on the modified PageRank algorithm using the public dataset Citation Network Dataset was carried out. The dataset includes more than 5 million scientific publications and 48 million citations. The citation of scientific publications of 27,500 collective scientific subjects for the period from 2000 to 2022 was analyzed. For this period, for 15 selected collective scientific subjects, performance is calculated using the TWPR-CI method, as well as estimates of productivity trends based on their average relative change. There are three classes of collective scientific subjects according to productivity trends. The results indicate the relevance of the proposed method for quantifying the productivity trends of collective scientific entities (higher education institutions, scientific institutes, laboratories, and other institutions engaged in scientific activities). This study aims to develop multimedia with whiteboard animation techniques to improve students' ability to develop scientific papers. The research method used is research and development (RD). The research and development steps are based on the four-D model, namely the defining stage (define), the design stage (design), the development stage (develop) and the dissemination stage (disseminate). The subjects in this study were Pokjar Cempaka Pati students consisting of 20 students. Data collection in the field was carried out using questionnaires given to non-basic students at the Faculty of Economics who took Scientific Paper courses. The data is analyzed descriptively, that is, it gives meaning to each data collected, and is presented in the form of percentages and graphs. The results showed that (1) based on the assessment of whiteboard animation media validators, it was a range of 82.00% - 96.00% of valid categories, (2) Whiteboard animation media is very effective in increasing understanding in student scientific work courses.

The purpose of this study was to find a good academic writing training management model for teachers of MAN 1 Bandar Lampung so that it can improve the professional competence of teachers. This study uses an approach with the ADDIE development model. The research subjects totaled 10 (ten) respondents in the preliminary study and 20 (twenty) people as training participants. Data collection used questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. Then, the results were analyzed using an inductive method: data analysis, which proceeds from facts to theory. The results of this study were that training in writing journalistic-based scientific papers for teachers of MAN 1 Bandar Lampung was successful, and the skills of writing scientific papers based on journalism for teachers of MAN 1 Bandar Lampung could be improved. Based on these conclusions, a scientific writing journalism training management model was found with five stages: determining training needs, designing training, developing training designs, implementing the developed training designs, and evaluating training.

Professional teachers have four competencies, namely (a) pedagogical competence, (b) cognitive competence, (c) personality competence, and (d) social competence. Among these competencies, learning management is the one we most emphasize. That is, professional teachers must be able to develop learning programs, choose and use learning media and appropriate strategies. Professional teachers must be able to communicate effectively that can motivate their students. They must also have extensive knowledge in their disciplines, be wise, and be wellsocialized. The teaching profession is a special field of work that requires professional principles. Professional teachers are those with the competencies required to carry out education and learning duties. Regarding this, writing a scientific paper is one form of activity that can develop teacher professionalism. It should be emphasized that scientific writing is the most substantial activity in developing teacher professionalism. Compiling a scientific paper for teachers is a basic requirement to develop their profession. However, its characteristic teaching content must be considered in the study of library and information science rather more than in the past. The article focuses on the continuing relevance of research in the field of military history for the joint solution of problems of cooperation and security from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean within the framework of the Greater Eurasian Partnership. The historical path of the Research Institute (military history) the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is described consistently stopping at the stages of its activity. The information about the formation of the Institute, its structure, tasks, and the heads of the Institute is presented. The article provides an overview of fundamental works, research works performed by the Institute’s staff, information about famous scientists, laureates of various awards. The contribution of the Institute’s staff to the implementation of the state programs “Patriotic education of citizens of the Russian Federation” is shown. The range of tasks solved in the interests of federal state authorities and subjects of the Russian Federation, military administration bodies is characterized. The contribution of the Institute to the provision of the educational process of military educational institutions, the holding of international Olympiads of cadets of military educational organizations of higher education of the CIS member states on military history is observed. An overview of the international activities of the Institute within the framework of the International Commission of Military History, with the CIS countries, the CSTO, the EAEU is given. The role of the Institute in solving the problems of scientific information in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in terms of the history of wars and military art, in countering attempts to falsify and distort military history that harm the interests of the Russian Federation is shown. It is emphasized that the main content of the Institute’s activities is the need to preserve the truth about the victory of the Soviet multinational people in the Great Patriotic War, strengthen cooperation with relevant organizations and structures of the states of the Eurasian Economic Union, the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Union State.

In response to the mental health crisis in science, and amid concerns about the detrimental effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on scientists, this study seeks to identify the role of a heretofore under-researched factor for flourishing and eudaimonia: aesthetic experiences in scientific work. The main research question that this study addresses is: To what extent is the frequency of encountering aesthetics in terms of beauty, awe, and wonder in scientific work associated with greater well-being among scientists? Based on a large-scale (N = 3,061) and representative international survey of scientists (biologists and physicists) in four countries (India, Italy, the United Kingdom, and the United States), this study employs sets of nested regressions to model the associations of aesthetic experiences with flourishing while controlling for demographic factors and negative workplace and life circumstances such as burnout, job/publication pressure, mistreatment, COVID-19 impacts, other stressful life events, serious psychological distress, and chronic health conditions. The results show that the frequency of aesthetic experiences in scientific work in the disciplines of biology and physics has a very large and statistically significant association with flourishing and eudaimonia that remains robust even when controlling for demographic factors and negative workplace and life circumstances, including COVID-19 impacts. Aesthetic experiences in scientific work are even as strongly associated with flourishing as the presence of serious psychological distress and are most strongly associated with the flourishing domain of meaning in life, thus pointing to a link with eudaimonic well-being. In line with neurophysiological evidence and positive psychological models of flow, self-transcendence, and intrinsic motivation, aesthetics are a key source of flourishing for scientists in the disciplines of biology and physics. While future research needs to test the causal mechanism, the strength of the findings could encourage leaders of scientific labs and research organizations generally to remove obstacles to experiencing the aesthetic dimensions of science. Fostering cultures in which the aesthetic experiences that are intrinsic to scientific practice are fully appreciated might potentially protect or boost flourishing by reducing the impacts of burnout, job/publication pressure, and mistreatment-related experiences in science. Fordis is a discussion forum that was formed in 2020. This forum consists of Communication Science students with the aim of forming and maintaining 3 student traditions, namely the tradition of reading, writing and discussing at Slamet Riyadi University (Unisri). These three traditions are important because they give students a position as supervisor by exposing the policies of the rulers from the perspective of students and theories. Fordis has at least participated in realizing and maintaining the tradition of reading and discussion. Fordis members want to develop the results of the discussions that have been carried out so far into scientific papers so that they can be published. Their problem lies in the lack of knowledge and ability in writing. The solution offered to these problems is through an educational process with training methods and scientific writing assistance for six months. The purpose of this training is to help Fordis members to be able to use their skills in the field of scientific writing in their lives as academics, in the form of proposals, essays and journals. The result is that students are able to make proposals for the Wira Desa Student Creativity Program and published essays. This program can be said to be successful because it is able to produce scientific outputs in the form of proposals and essays. The research aims to identify successful control practices and shortcomings of strategic planning and organization of scientific activity in modern-day Ukrainian universities. The paper shows the analysis of the scientific activity managing experience at Poltava V. G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University (here and after PNPU) with further correlation with the practice in other educational institution of Ukraine. The study presents the results of monitoring the opinion of 140 scientific and pedagogical staff members of PNPU, 31 heads of departments of other Ukrainian universities and 24 representatives of young scientist councils of the country regarding the assessment of their own activities and the importance of indicators of scientific work based on a Likert type scale questionnaire. The descriptive statistics methodology was used to analyze the answers to gather dater to formulate the proposals for improving the efficiency of scientific activity of the staff. The author analyzes the communication channels between the administration (rector's office, deputy deans for scientific work, department heads) and scientific and pedagogical staff; determining the level of communication to ensure awareness of the creation of grading. The article presents views on the principles of rating scoring, the correlation of individual and collective contribution, the unreasonable equivalence of all components in rating formation, and the mixing of scientific and other types of activity. The study raises the question of a mixture of concepts - the annual scientific rating with the image of a scientist, the Hirsch index. There is an interpretation of the differences between the tool for stimulating scientific work and the help to activate structural units (the international department, the department of postgraduate studies, the administration for providing free internships or free scientometric publications). Remarks are given regarding the development of a system of material incentives that would be felt by individual scientific and pedagogical workers and structural units, which would make it impossible for the time duration of the set of low (often zero) indicators of scientific work due to disappointment with the degree of evaluation of one's own work. The question was raised that the rating should take into account the diversity of specialties of the higher education institution and the uniqueness of the work of the staff. The need to give educators the right to choose a field in which they will be able to express themselves and to ensure an appropriate rating that will affect the calculation of additional fees is expressed (as an example, ratings of scientific, methodical, social image work; scientific work is calculated based on the results of the publication of a scientific product, methodical - by the consequences of the implementation of the educational component, the introduction of methodological developments and can be formed taking into account the assessment of the quality of teaching by students, the social image will be formed based on the results of career guidance, socio-cultural, image, educational work of the educator). The article is devoted to the problem of organization of scientific research activities of students in the field of knowledge 01 Education/Pedagogy of the second Master's level of education in the conditions of war. Based on the analysis of scientific sources and own pedagogical experience is presented the peculiarities of scientific-research activities of Master's students in the conditions of military time. New challenges have been identified: destruction or changing conditions functioning of educational institution-research bases, reduction of qualified scientific supervisors capable of ensuring the quality of consulting on the implementation of scientific and research works; absence of usual conditions of scientific work, remote forms of data collection, etc. New challenges prompted the organization of research activities in non-standard conditions, stimulated the development of cognitive creativity of master students, intensified the search for nonstandard scientific ideas, enriched experience of research activity in heterogeneous educational teams, perfected the art of interaction in a multicultural environment. The main requirement of today has crystallized -- to adapt to new ones time challenges and develop their competencies and skills according to the rapid changes. This study aimed to analyze the application of performance and peer assessment to students' scientific work through a STEM-based virtual laboratory learning. The research design was used the One Group Pretest-Posttest and One-Shot Case Study. The research was carried out from July to September 2020 at Chemistry Education Department, one of the universities in Indonesia. The research subjects were chemistry education students for the 2018/2019 Academic Year with a purposive sampling technique. The research data was taken from the performance assessment observation sheet given before and after the laboratory practice learning process and the peer assessment questionnaire. The data listed on the observation sheet and questionnaire are then calculated for the percentage. Based on research results, it can be concluded that the implementation of performance and peer assessment of students' scientific work through STEM-based virtual laboratory learning are very competent criteria at 86% and competent at 84%. The results of the paired sample t-test of students' scientific work abilities assessed using the performance assessment have a Sig. (2- tailed) the value below 0.05, which is 0.000, where there is a difference in the average results of initial and final observations using performance assessment through STEM-based virtual laboratory learning. One sample t-test of students' scientific work abilities assessed using performance and peer assessment has Sig. (2- tailed) values of 0.011 and 0.002 indicate that the mean score of students’ scientific work is 75.

This article describes the research dissemination activities of lecturers and researchers in Indonesia. Data were collected through an online survey with 39 questions distributed to respondents via social media from 21 to 31 July 2020. Thirty out of 77 respondents completed the online questionnaire. The results identified variables, such as resources available for dissemination, planning and targeting dissemination activity, evaluating the effects, and capturing research influence. The results revealed that almost all respondents realised the importance of dissemination and wanted to participate. The results show that 80% dissemination activities are conducted through academic journals. Assistance and instruction from specialize divisions or institutions are needed for the dissemination process so that results are maximally employed and so that the role of research is increased in policymaking. Although only 3 % researchers evaluated their research, when asked about the influence of their research, most researchers provided examples of the influence of their research. Researchers understand the importance of dissemination and have been putting it into practice. Researchers require clear guidance from institutions that can assist them in the dissemination process from the planning stage to dissemination.

The effectiveness of research teams and scientists is largely estimated by their publication activity. One indicator of the quality of scientific work is the absence of plagiarism. The purpose of this paper was to consider the problems that arise with the formal-mechanistic approach to the detection of plagiarism in scientific papers. The questions of the correlation of meaning and plagiarism; quoting your own work; quoting and inaccurate quoting; the use of generally accepted expressions, laws, definitions; the need to refine anti-plagiarism systems are considered. It is shown that due to the fact that anti-plagiarism systems do not analyze the meaning of the text, “overdiagnosis” occurs. As a result of an uncritical approach to the conclusions of such systems, the writing of scientific papers becomes more complicated. The necessity of developing more accurate criteria for determining what is plagiarized in scientific papers is noted. Some suggestions were made to reduce the shortcomings of the formal approach.

It was identified that active scientific work of students is possible only in the presence of serious and persistent motivation. The strongest motivating factor is the preparation for further effective professional activity. Studying of research on the problem made it possible to make sure that students need to be taught to determine the main components, structure of scientific work, to determine their readiness for problematic studying, to learn to use the means of scientific activity, to be able to carry out experimental and research work. During scientific activity, particular attention of future psychologists is directed to ways of updating knowledge. The nature of motivation, as well as of cognitiveeducational, procedural and socioprofessional activity is fundamentally changing: instead of knowledge filling and retention, there is an independent search for a new material. In this way, increasing motivation and socioprofessional orientation are stimulated. Theoretical analysis and generalization of the experience of leadership of student scientific work made it possible to distinguish the personal characteristics of future psychologists in their readiness for scientific activity. The forms and methods of scientific knowledge of students - future psychologists are solved and the conditions of their use are determined. It is determined that modern science performs two basic social functions - cognitive and practical.

Background. This work is one of the first studies of the activities aimed at improving the quality of scientific and pedagogical personnel of agricultural universities of the USSR in the period of the 1960s – 1980s of the 20th century. It outlines the main directions, trends and experience of agricultural universities in the most concise form. Special attention is paid to the characteristics of its forms and methods in the context of improving the organization of the educational and scientific process. The relevance of the study is determined by the lack of knowledge of the stated topic, the demand for experience in providing universities with highly qualified personnel of teachers and scientists, accumulated during the Soviet period of Russian history. This publication attempts to investigate the process of improving the quality of scientific and pedagogical personnel in agricultural universities by solving the following tasks: to study the activities of training highly qualified personnel; analyze the forms and methods of work to improve the level of educational and scientific activities of university teachers; identify the positive aspects and shortcomings of the work on improving the skills of teachers of higher education. Materials and methods. In the course of the study, we used documents and materials that contribute to the disclosure of the essence of the work of scientific and pedagogical personnel of agricultural universities of the USSR in the study period. The methodological basis of the study was based on the basic methods of historical science: historicism, objectivity, and consistency, which allowed us to highlight the material used and present the results of the study with maximum reliability. Results. The results of the study confirm its relevance and lack of knowledge in the modern literature. They showed the presence of a generally positive dynamics of improving the quality of scientific and pedagogical personnel of agricultural universities of the USSR in the period of the 1960s – 1980s of the 20th century. The connection between the scientific and pedagogical activities of teachers was strengthened, the practical orientation of the classes and the form of organization of professional development of the teaching staff were improved. Conclusions. In the course of the conducted work, an idea was obtained about the most general trends in the evolution of scientific and pedagogical personnel of agricultural universities at the final stage of Soviet history, about the experience and problems of improving their quality.

The emergence of the entrepreneurial paradigm in scientific work characterizes the contemporary transition of science in pursuit of greater applicability and socio-economic relevance of scientific-technological developments. Collaboration becomes central and from a paradox that suggests both convergence and divergence in it, often situations of ambiguity and uncertainty invade everyday scientific practices, altering what is being done in it. This research illustrates how the restoration of collaborative action and its sustainability is conditioned by different aspects that characterize a "weak" or "tight" organizing between the parties. From an organizational perspective, it contributes to a greater understanding of the changes in "doing science" and the way in which scientists make their work convincing, meaningful and sustainable over time. What helps to resolve the debates on science policy to promote it, since ultimately, it is the actions and social interactions of scientists that show what is feasible to do and, above all, how to carry it out. The universities are one of the main focal points in the scientific development of a country and its mission has varied as time goes by. These institutions were born with a first mission that is teaching, but at the moment their activities are much wider. In this respect, the present study was carried out aimed at meditating around the scientific production in the University of Medical Sciences in Santiago de Cuba; also, there was an investigation about the collaboration and impact reached in the last edition of the Ibero-American Ranking of Higher Education Institutions, 2020. It was evidenced that the use of bibliometric indicatives is an alternative to measure and evaluate the scientific production of the health professionals, as well as to enlarge the productivity and visibility through strategies and politics drawn up, taking the opportune decisions making as a starting point.
