To dispatch the goal about walking towards the 4th Industrial Revolution, one of the main key materials that require alterations and enhancements is data communication and transmission. To keep up with the augmented rise in demand for data, fiber-optics communication and networks commence a significant role in the transfer of data at high speeds. This article exemplifies the expediency analysis of 5.76 Tbits/s SDM-PDM-Nyquist superchannel WDM hybrid multiplexing technique over a multimodal transmission link up to 10 km using C-band carrier frequencies. This system is designed to carry 48 channels of data that can be produced using 8 C-band carrier frequencies, 2 polarization states, and 3 LP modes through 3.1% Germania doped over pure silica step-index multimode fiber. The system exhibits a satisfactory performance (log BER -9.35, faithful Q-factor 6.09, extinction ratios 7.78, minimum OSNR 46.5 dB) up to a distance of 10 km. Each channel receives a satisfactory amount of power after the dual-stage amplification process in the transmission medium with an ultra-high spectral efficiency of 137% and a high bandwidth-distance product of 385 MHz.km

Introduction: Chronic renal or kidney disease (CKD) presents with a range of cutaneous manifestation. Many New changes have been described since the advancement of hemodialysis, which prolonged the life expectancy, providing sufficient time for these changes to manifest. Objective: To observe the cutaneous changes in chronic kidney patients. Methods: This descriptive cross sectional study was conducted at Dermatology and Venereology department, Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Dhaka from July 2019 to June 2020. A total 100 CKD patients were recruited through purposive random sampling technique and observed for cutaneous changes. Results: Among the total, 88% study population had some form of skin disorders, pallor 65(65%) was found to be the most common cutaneous manifestation, while xerosis 61(61%), pruritus (53%), hyperpigmentation 37(37%) and bacterial infection 28(28%) were other common features. Prevalence of purpura was 29(29%) and fungal infection was 24(24%). Conclusion: CKD is associated with a broad spectrum of skin manifestations caused by the disease or by the treatment. The more commonly with pallor, xerosis and pruritus proper recognition of cutaneous signs and symptoms can relieve sufferings and reduce morbidity of the CKD patients. JAFMC Bangladesh. This paper exemplifies dense wavelength division multiplexing combined with polarization division multiplexing with C-band frequency range-based single-mode fiber. In the proposed link, 32 independent channels with 16 individual wavelengths are multiplexed with two different angles of polarization. Each carrying 130 Gbps dual-polarization data with 200 GHz channel spacing claiming a net transmission rate of 4.16 Tbits/s with spectral efficiency of 69% with 20% side-mode-suppression-ratio (SMSR) and optical signal to noise ratio (OSNR) 40.7. The performance of the proposed techniques has been analyzed using optimized system parameters securing a minimum bit error rate (BER) 10-9 at a transmission distance up to 50 km.

Dynamic functionality of mitochondria is maintained by continual fusion and fission events. A mitochondrial outer membrane protein Fzo1 plays a pivotal role upon mitochondrial fusion by homo-oligomerization to tether fusing mitochondria. Fzo1 is tightly regulated by ubiquitylations and the ubiquitin-responsible AAA protein Cdc48. Here, we show that a Cdc48 cofactor Ubx2 facilitates Fzo1 turnover. The Cdc48-Ubx2 complex has been shown to facilitate degradation of ubiquitylated proteins stacked at the protein translocation complex in the mitochondrial outer membrane by releasing them from the translocase. By contrast, in the degradation process of Fzo1, the Cdc48-Ubx2 complex appears to facilitate the degradation-signalling ubiquitylation of the substrate itself. In addition, the Cdc48-Ubx2 complex interacts with Ubp2, a deubiquitylase reversing the degradation-signalling ubiquitylation of Fzo1. These results suggest that the Cdc48-Ubx2 complex regulates Fzo1 turnover by modulating ubiquitylation status of the substrate.

This paper proposes an idea of the amelioration of solar panels with a fuzzy logic controller and their deployment on stagnant water (reservoir of hydro-electric damns). The involvement of a fuzzy logic controller improves the level of intelligence of the control system hence prioritizing between critical and non-critical loads which enables the utilization of the harnessed solar energy with greater service continuity. From the analysis, it was observed that 35% more energy is allocated for critical loads than the non-critical loads which satisfies a greater percentage of critical loads.

This paper proposes an idea of optimizing battery management system using fuzzy logic for a smart grid system. The involvement of a fuzzy logic controller makes the existing control mechanisms for the battery management system more intelligent hence allowing the system to prioritize between the loads and multiple batteries in the battery storage system (BSS) which enables the utilization of the harnessed solar energy with greater service continuity. This design involves a much more effective algorithm of a load and battery management system using fuzzy sets which allows to optimize solar power utilization and maintaining smooth battery health conditions. Finally, a comparative study is illustrated showing the differences between a system working with a greater number of membership functions (64 rules) and the one working with only two membership functions (8 rules).
