Background: The estrogenic endocrine disruptor bisphenol A (BPA), which is used in plastics and resins, may have an impact on the fetus’s growth and development and can modify postnatal development. This study aims to assess how bisphenol A affects fetal biometry. Methods: This analytical cross-sectional study included 384 healthy Egyptian women in their third trimester during childbearing (15–44 years). They were selected from the outpatient Clinic of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Kasr El-Ainy Hospital, Cairo, Egypt. Fetal biometry was measured and urine samples were collected to estimate BPA levels. Results: Fetal weight, centile, and corrected bisphenol A levels were significantly higher in the studied age groups (P0.05). Conclusion: Fetal exposure to BPA is associated with higher estimated fetal weight and centile commonly in the maternal age range 25 to 35 years.

With the rapid growth of the helical piling industry for oil and gas projects and transmission lines, reliable installation torque estimates and measurements become crucial. This paper presents a theoretical model developed to estimate the torsional resistance of cohesionless soils to helical pile installation. The theoretical torque model was verified using installation records collected from different sites. The paper also highlights factors that affect helical pile installation, including soil properties, fluctuation in groundwater levels, shape of pile shaft, pile geometry, and method of helical pile installation. The proposed torsional resistance model was then used to establish the traditional torque factors to proportionally correlate the axial capacity of helical pile and the installation torque. The results of the study indicated that the torque factor is a function of the load path (i.e., tension or compression). Therefore, torque factors in compression and tension, [K.sub.c] and [K.sub.t], respectively, were formulated and presented in the paper. Le present article presente un modele theorique concu pour permettre d'estimer la resistance de torsion de sols non cohesifs a l'installation de pieux helicoidaux. Le modele theorique de couple a ete verifie a l'aide de donnees d'installation collectees sur differents site. L'article souligne egalement les facteurs qui influent sur l'installation de pieux helicoidaux, en particulier les proprietes du sol, les variations du niveau de la nappe phreatique, la forme du fut du pieu, la geometrie du pieu et la methode d'installation du pieu helicoidal. We analyze the effect of longitudinal optical phonons on the energy states of electrons in a nanowire in the presence of Rashba interaction and an in-plane magnetic field. Due to the electron–phonon interaction, an energy splitting appears at zero wave vector accompanied by a downward shift of the dispersion relation in the absence of external magnetic fields. The splitting increases linearly with the product of the Rashba parameter and the dimensionless constant characterizing the Fröhlich Hamiltonian. It also induces an enhancement in the g -factor that is inversely proportional to the strength of the magnetic field. Moreover, we calculate the contribution of Rashba intersubband coupling (RIC) to the electron energy. This contribution does not influence the g -factor for the case of parallel magnetic field to the nanowire, but it causes reduction in it by increasing the angle between the nanowire and the field. This paper investigates the behavior of RC beams strengthened in shear with UHPFRC. In order to ensure high quality and facilitate the strengthening process on site applications, it has been considered to apply UHPFRC as a plate pasted on concrete using epoxy. In addition to the control beam, two strengthened RC beams using prefabricated UHPFRC plates were prepared and tested. All beams had the same rectangular cross-section geometry (150mm x 300mm x 2000mm). Two different techniques were considered during the strengthening process; the first application was the addition of two 30 mm UHPFRC plates, whereas the second beam strengthened using one 60 mm UHPFRC plate. Results showed that strengthening RC beams using two UHPFRC plates improved load carrying capacity with 145 % comparing with the control beam. Moreover UHPFRC plate in case of strengthening one side of the RC beam prevented shear cracks from appearing on the strengthened side.

Recently, ultra-high performance fiber reinforced concrete (UHPFRC) has been commonly used as a structural material. In this study, finite element (FE) model is constructed to investigate the behavior of ultra-high performance fiber reinforced concrete filled steel tube columns (UHPFRCFSTs) under axial or eccentric loading. The analysis included three-dimensional FE model using solid elements. The novelty of the suggested FE model is the consideration of the confinement of the UHPFRC in-filled material. Furthermore addition, the numerical model includes initial local and overall geometric imperfections, as well as the inelastic response of both UHPFRC and steel materials. The interaction between the steel tube and UHPFRC in-filled is modelled using surface to surface contact. Experimental results from the literature are used to validate the FE model. It is proved that the FE model can predict the ultimate capacities, failure modes, and post-cracking behavior accurately for both short and long UHPFRCFSTs. The FE interaction diagram agreed very well with the experimental results. Using the verified FE model, a parametric study on UHPFRCFSTs is carried out. Several parameters, including concrete strength material, steel yield strength, and aspect ratio of the columns (column diameter/tube thickness), are investigated. Eventually, comparisons are conducted between the results obtained from FE simulation and the existing design codes for predicting load-moment interaction diagram of UHPFRCFSTs. Hence the most important means for facing these diseases is the right doctrine; which is a peak in the power of faith in Allah Almighty; so, the aim of this study is clarifying the importance of believing in Allah Almighty for facing the pandemics and the way of their resistance and I approached in this study the inductive approach and the analytical approach and there were several consequences for this study among which: We are in a bad need for good faith in Allah Almighty, as it is one of the ways of healing, which is the adherence of the worshipper with his Lord, Glory be to Him. The results of a comprehensive pile load-test program and observations from field monitoring of helical piles with either a single helix or double helixes instaL1ed in oil sand are presented in this paper. Eleven fuL1-scale pile load tests were carried out including axial compression, uplift, and lateral load tests. The results of the fuL1-scale load tests are used to develop a theoretical design model for helical piles instaL1ed in oil sand. Test results confirm that the helical pile is a viable deep foundation option for support of heavily loaded structures. The test results also demonstrated that circular-shaft helical piles can resist considerable lateral loads. There is no doubt that the science of Sufism became an essential part of our Islamic heritage, although it was not popularized as a term and concept until the third century AH.The science of Sufism focused on the spiritual aspect of the heart.
