It is the area of knowledge that encompasses economics, sociology, psychology and finance, and seeks to understand how the decision is made to consume, save and invest. His most expressive milestone was with the experiments of the psychologists Tversky and Kahneman, nobel in economics in 2002, which was of paramount importance for the growth of studies on the subject. In the present work we tried to answer the level of acceptance of a possible increase of the contribution in the FUNPRESP - the automatic readjustment - from the perspective of the biases used in decisions related to finances. Thus, starting from the study of the researchers Richard Thaler and Shlomo Benartzi in American Pension Funds, used as basis for the construction of the present work, we tried to test the adhesion of the Automatic Adjustment between the teachers who have remuneration above the INSS ceiling in the University Federal Rural of the State of Rio de Janeiro - UFRRJ. The information was collected through a questionnaire with the population of the ticket servers from 2016 (year of beginning of automatic adhesion in FUNPRESP). The analysis of the data was done using the discriminant analysis method, one of the multivariate analysis techniques. This technique has the main characteristic of specifying the independent variables that best distinguish the dependent variable, in the case of adherence to the program. The conclusion reached was that although behavioral biases have a strong influence on the adherence and permanence of study participants, they do not have a clear view of the rules of the program, which would make it difficult to accept the increase in the level of contribution O que se intitulou Finan?as Comportamentais trata-se do ramo de estudo que busca compreender o comportamento dos indiv?duos quanto as decis?es financeiras.
