This paper is part of the research “Work of teaching, material culture and transmission of contents. Case study in Secondary Schools of the Province of Córdoba” (FFyH, UNC). It presents initial advances in the study of the relationship between the New Academic Regime of Secondary Education of the Province of Córdoba (NRA), the teaching and teaching work of teachers of technical and oriented secondary schools. From an exploratory approach, on the one hand, try to describe what the NRA regulations consist of, as a device, and the characteristics of its implementation; and the other hand, to recognize the senses and knowledge built by teachers in the encounter between the definitions and demands of the regulations with the conditions of teaching work, significantly deteriorated. The expressions of professors interviewed show not only the doubts and expectations generated by the proposal of change that implies the NRA but also the modes of institutional resolution and the pedagogical-didactic strategies built in schools. This is experienced by teachers as opportunities and possibilities. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
