Dioxin-like compounds, recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as among the most enduring toxic chemical substances in the environment, are linked to various occupational activities and industrial accidents worldwide. The aim of this study was to examine and present research publications on dioxins, pinpoint current research trends, identify research gaps, and highlight potential avenues for future exploration in the field. The study period for relevant research articles ranged from 1923 to December 31, 2022, and these articles were sourced from the Scopus database. The analysis involved the identification of key contributors to the field and the visualization of topics, themes, and international collaboration. VOSviewer software (version 1.6.20) was used for visualization analysis. A total of 11,620 publications on dioxins were documented in the Scopus database. The predominant category of these documents comprised 9780 original articles, which represents 84.17% of the total publications. The United States lead in the number of publications, with 3992 (34.35%), followed by Japan, with 1429 (12.3%), China, with 1005 (8.65%), and Germany, with 974 (8.38%). Before 2002, scholarly attention in this field focused primarily on the health effects, environmental fate, and mechanism of toxicity of tetrachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin (TCDD). However, a noticeable change in research focus has been observed since 2002, highlighting the emergence of a topic related to the health effects and environmental fate of polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PFDFs). This study is the first to conduct a comprehensive quantitative bibliometric analysis of dioxins over time. These findings indicate a significant increase in the overall growth of the dioxin literature over the past 30 years. There are many studies which compared the publication and citation patterns among different research disciplines. However, one level below, potential differences within disciplines are not as well researched. Our article contributes to the research of said level by investigating the publication and citation behaviours of ten sub-disciplines of business administration and the potential differences between them. Of particular interest is a comparison of Operations Research with the other nine sub-disciplines. As research method, we conducted a scientometric analysis covering 283 professors at Austrian universities that offer a business administration program. Their publications over a ten-years period and the citations they have accumulated were retrieved from Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus. The results unveil strong differences between the analysed ten sub-disciplines, which are partially even greater than those between overall disciplines. Due to its interdisciplinary nature, we expected to see some peculiarities in the results for Operations Research. Authors from this sub-discipline are very present in WoS and Scopus. This sub-discipline achieves the highest average number of publications per researcher, and the highest self-citation rate. Apart from Operations Research, some other sub-disciplines also showed particular characteristics. This concerns especially Accounting, where publications often appear in German and in practitioner journals due to their national legalistic content. Background: Schizophrenia is a chronic mental illness that affects millions of individuals worldwide. The etiological origin of schizophrenia is heterogeneous, but it has been shown to be associated with dysfunction in serotonin activity, serotonin receptors, and serotonin metabolism in the brain. Bibliometric analysis is a tool used to scrutinise and analyse research activities and evidence in a specific research area. No existing bibliometric analyses have considered both serotonin and schizophrenia. Methods: We conducted a bibliometric analysis including 12,027 studies related to the schizophrenia-serotonin link published from the inception of the study to 2023 and available in the Scopus database. We used VOSviewer software to identify global trends, analyse the author and editors keywords, the most cited articles and author, as well as the most productive institutes and journals publishing research on schizophrenia-serotonin link. Results: Most publications related to the link between schizophrenia and serotonin are focused on adult humans and examine topics such as antipsychotic agents, depression, and serotonin uptake inhibitors. The Journal of Clinical Psychiatry has published the most papers on the schizophrenia-serotonin relationship. Among nations, the United States is the leader in publications. King's College London is the institution with the highest number of publications, and H. Y. Meltzer is the most influential author. Growing trends in schizophrenia-serotonin research are personalised medicine, alternative medicine, transcranial magnetic stimulation, artificial intelligence, nervous system inflammation, brain-gut axis, and the gut microbiome. Conclusion: Since 1950, there have been several fluctuations in the number of published studies related to schizophrenia and serotonin. We believe that the development of novel medications and treatments for schizophrenia will be increased in the future, as well as research into genetic risks, psychological factors, and cranial neuroimaging components. Future schizophrenia and serotonin research is likely to focus on personalised medicine, alternative therapies, novel pathogenesis of schizophrenia, and the use of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. Summary: Agriculture has been affected by several global trends raising the concern for food security. Agri‐food demands are amplifying due to the ever‐escalating population numbers. Thus, the notion of extending the use of smart innovative technology in managing agricultural practices has emerged rapidly over the last decade. Technological innovations have contributed significantly to shape modern agriculture as smart agriculture. Smart agriculture unfolds various benefits such as increased production, real time data and production insights and remote monitoring. The rising advancements in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) have paved the way for researchers to use these technologies in managing agricultural practices, leading to greater benefits for farmers and society. These innovations are the key to establishing agriculture as a research discipline. The purpose of this article is to conduct a scientometric analysis to study the structure and evolution of research activities in the field of smart agriculture. The scientometric analysis aims to empirically map the scientific knowledge and identify any possible challenges in the field. This study performs elementary analysis to study publication growth over the years, impact analysis to assess the leading journals, authors, and countries, and articles analysis for findings patterns among the citations over the years and among the keyword‐based clusters. There has been a considerable increase of more than 200% in the number of publications from 2011 to 2022. However, around 60% of authors have contributed with a single publication. The findings of the study reveal the research trends and hot topics for future research fronts. Deep learning, digital agriculture, object detection, blockchain, and semantic segmentation have been identified as trending topics in smart agriculture. Research article publication is often considered a critical indicator of academic institutions' success and productivity. It improves the institution's reputation, attracts talented students and faculty members, and increases the institution's chances of receiving funding opportunities from different funding agencies. This paper provides a reliable and sustainable methodology for improving the quality and quantity of research article publications for engineering institutions in India. The various tools, techniques, and initiatives that promote research culture and improve its outcome in terms of research papers are also discussed. A case study of Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering (PCCOE), Pune, India, depicts how predictive, prescriptive, descriptive, and diagnostic data analytics approaches help to identify the barriers in the research article publications in academic institutions and provides the ways to overcome them. It also helps to set the publication targets and develop the path to perceive the targets. The outcomes and effectiveness of the case study are discussed using the papers published in Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar databases. Net-zero energy building (NZEB), an initiative to address energy conservation and emission reduction, has received widespread attention worldwide. This study aims to systematically explore recent challenges in NZEB retrofit research through a mixed-method approach and provide recommendations and future directions. A review of 106 documents (2020–2024) retrieved from the Web of Science and Scopus databases found that the globalization of NZEB retrofit research is unstoppable. Assessment methods are diverse, ranging from modeling energy efficiency (using different software such as DesignBuilder 7.0, PVsyst 7.4, EnergyPlus 24.1.0, etc.) to multi-attribute decision-making methods (e.g., DEMATEL-AHP/ANP-VIKOR) and comparative analysis. Current assessment metrics are dominated by economic benefits (e.g., net present value, dynamic payback period, and total operating cost) and energy consumption (e.g., electricity consumption and generation), with less consideration of environmental impacts (e.g., carbon reduction), as well as comfort (e.g., thermal comfort and indoor comfort). The study found that current challenges mainly include "Low economic feasibility of retrofitting", "Building retrofit energy code irrationality", and "Insufficient understanding, communication, and trust between stakeholders". To overcome these challenges, the study also proposes a framework of strategies to address them, including (1) maximizing natural space, (2) introducing a tenant equity system, (3) upgrading waste management, (4) strengthening energy monitoring, (5) establishing complete life cycle mechanisms, (6) providing systemic solutions; (7) promoting the use of low-carbon building materials, and (8) increasing policy support. The number of studies on COVID-19 has rapidly grown in recent years. The pandemic has caused widespread disruption, including in renewable energy research. This study aims to examine the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on renewable energy research by conducting a bibliometric analysis from the Scopus indexing database from 2020 to 2023. This study employs a bibliometric approach to analyze the authors, affiliation, publication source, keywords, thematic map, and trend topic. The analysis will focus on the comprehensive overview of the published research and identify areas where future research is needed. The results show that the number of research studies related to COVID-19’s effect on renewable energy will continue growing and a solid collaboration network exists. China has had a significant presence on the impact of COVID-19 on renewable energy studies, including organization and university affiliations, number of single and multiple country publications, funding sponsors, and most cited countries. The finding also shows niche themes, research trends, and thematic evolution shifting. Digital technologies are opening up new ways to involve students in environmental education (EE). Augmented reality (AR) is one of these technologies and can potentially engage students and improve their learning outcomes. In this article, we systematically analyze the use of AR in EE. We searched the ERIC, Scopus, and Web of Science databases for articles related to AR and found 20 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria of the research question. The results showed that most articles examined were published after 2017, and the researchers used experimental research methods. The results also showed that the research participants were mostly primary school students, and the most common sample size was between 50 and 100. In addition, the results revealed four categories: (1) contribution to student learning, (2) affective outcomes, (3) interaction, and (4) other benefits and advantages. The need for energy in different global industries encourages the development and application of clean energy. Tourism, being a global development sector, requires energy to maintain the comfort of tourists. The development of technology requires basic science and application studies that allow us to know the scientific evolution and trends in research, which is of great relevance in the fields of tourism and renewable energy. Within this context, the aim of the article is to analyze the evolution of research publications focused on renewable energy and tourism indexed in Scopus from 2008 to 2023 using a bibliometric approach. The search strategy identified 90 documents. Tools such as VOSviewer (version: 1.6.18) and Power BI (version: 13.0.23776.64) were used to assist in conducting the bibliometric analysis and network. The results of this work indicate that there is a growth in the authors' interest in renewable energy and tourism, with a specific growth rate of 0.1927 years−1. "Environmental Science and Pollution Research" is the journal with the most publications, and China ranks first in publications. The bibliometric study based on the Scopus database aims to investigate the global literary development of "decent work" over a span exceeding two decades. The noticeable surge in publications since 2015 underscores the growing significance of the concept. Limited representation of lower‐middle and lower‐income countries, except India, among the top 10 contributors is observed, revealing a considerable research gap in the study of decent work. The research highlights five principal themes: the labor market's impact on economic development, corporate social responsibility and sustainable development, gender equality, governance, and social justice, as well as decent work, job quality, education, well‐being, and job satisfaction. Electronic waste is always a big problem when it comes to the disposal of electronic appliances, and they pose a significant threat ecologically. New technology replaces the existing one, and the older one is discarded. Biodegradable electronics, as an emerging research area, gives viable solutions to the problem of E-waste. It mainly deals with the development of transient electronic devices, i.e., getting decomposed gradually or dissolvable in an eco-friendly way when their purpose has been achieved. This paper presents a scientometric analysis of the research in biodegradable electronics by employing a Scopus database of more than 1109 research articles, conference papers, review papers, and books published on this topic. This study is done over two decades of data from 2003 to 2023 on biodegradable electronics. It describes the trends and future of the research area using keyword analysis, citation network, and bibliometric tools. The study of the number of papers shows a 68%, 75%, and 55% increase in research articles, conference papers, and review documents in 2022. The country-wise contribution to the research shows that China, the USA, India, and South Korea are the major contributing nations. China is the most productive nation, with 297 publications. This paper reveals that the research area has increased the interest of researchers, and countries are collaborating to achieve sustainable development goals. The bibliometric analysis identifies various challenges to biodegradable electronics, such as degradation diversity, integration, fabrication and scalability. Based on these, the future aspects of biodegradable electronics are identified in organic bioelectronics, soft electronics, novel fabrication mechanisms, and Innovative chemistry for green electronics. DeFi blockchain technology, known as decentralized finance today, separates from the traditional financial ecosystem and ushers the new financial landscape onto digital platforms. In decentralized financial applications, all digital assets are safeguarded by blockchain technology. Thanks to this technology, investors can transfer their financial assets without being dependent on banking authorities. Despite the numerous advantages they bring, financial assets based on the decentralized finance ecosystem come with certain disadvantages. These assets are difficult to control, easily manipulated, and are at risk due to their vulnerability to cyberattacks. This study conducted bibliometric analyses on a total of 930 publications registered in the Web of Science (WoS) and Scopus databases using the VOSviewer program. In both databases, "all fields" were filtered and scanned with the keyword "decentralized finance." According to the results, the Scopus database has much richer content compared to the WoS database. The most cited author in the Scopus database was Chen Y, while in the WoS database, it was Nakomoto S. There has been a significant increase in the number of publications in both databases since 2020. Additionally, it was detected that the most cited countries in both databases were the USA, China and England, respectively. It has been observed that computer science comes to the fore in the publication rankings. Decentralized finance is an interdisciplinary field of study. Therefore, many more qualified hybrid studies are needed. More studies are needed, especially examining investor behavior. In this study, a bibliometric analysis technique is used for performance analysis and science mapping of artificial intelligence (AI) applications in streamflow research. This paper examines the current trends in the literature using the Scopus database over the last 37 years. RStudio Bibliometrix software was used to analyse the titles, keywords, abstracts, and full texts of 3000 publications to identify trends in AI models, publication types, journals, citations, authors, countries, and regions. The highest frequency AI-related keyword is "artificial neural networks," which was used in a total of 25587 times. The most common publication type, at 82.1%, is journal articles, and the highest rate of country production is 25% for China. Geometric Optics is a rapidly-evolving field with implications for a broad range of applications, from biomedical imaging to advanced materials engineering. This comprehensive bibliometric analysis presents an in-depth examination of global research in Geometric Optics from 2012–2021, using data from the Scopus database. The analysis reveals a total of 5,388 publications authored by 15,277 individuals, with a steady annual growth rate of 3.7% and an impressive citation impact of 11.99% per paper. The top 20 productive authors are identified, who contributed to 18.5% of global publications and 11.1% of citations, and the international collaboration networks that have emerged around key research areas are mapped. The study also reveals an expanding research landscape, with emerging areas such as nanophotonics and metamaterials gaining traction. The publication output of higher education institutions can have a significant impact on their reputation. This VOSviewer-based bibliometric study summarises Scopus-indexed Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) publications. The number of UMS publications was rising. From the international collaboration perspective, UMS has collaborated the most with Malaysia. Tri Widodo B Riyadi is the most productive UMS-affiliated author, with 46 publications. Among UMS-affiliated authors who co-authored with fewer than 25 authors, Hidayah Karuniawati had the most cited publications. The current research hotspot of UMS is in health and drug development aspects. UMS outperformed other private universities in Central Java with its impressive record of 1350 publications and extensive international collaboration with 122 countries. OBJECTIVES: This investigation aims to analyze the characteristics and development of literature and advocate to include "Somatopsychic" as a Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) term. BACKGROUND: The interplay between physiological processes and psychological conditions, commonly referred to as "Somatopsychic," has garnered increasin g attention in scientific literature over the years. METHODS: Somatopsychic-related research from the Scopus database using (Text word) and (MeSH) features. Publications were collected on Mar 22, 2023. The publication output was then analyzed using the R package's bibliometrics (Biblioshiny) and VOSviewer. RESULTS: In this study, search results for "somatopsychic" using (MeSH) resulted in a predictable return of 0 articles. Meanwhile, based on a search with (Text word), this study retrieved 306 documents for an unlimited period (and yielded published articles between 1913 and 2022). The analysis also revealed that 3,176 authors contributed to publications related to somatopsychic, with the United States ranking first in terms of authorship. In addition, the study presented a co-word network that illustrated frequent co-occurrence of particular keywords within somatopsychic research. CONCLUSION: This study reveals that somatopsychic-related publications are becoming increasingly prevalent. Adding somatopsychic as a dedicated term to the MeSH thesaurus of the National Library of Medicine would assist in indexing and retrieving the most pertinent literature on this topic (Tab. 3, Fig. 5, Ref. 51). This article aims to explore the effects of doctoral publication requirements on the research output of Ukrainian academics in Scopus in terms of quantity and impact. Research output in Scopus, elaborated by Ukrainian academics in economics, medicine and physics who were awarded a doctoral degree in three time periods (before September 2013, after September 2013 and after September 2020) marked by changes in doctoral publication requirements was chosen for analysis. The study findings highlight that the publication requirements resulted in an increase in the share of doctorate holders with publications in Scopus. However, first, the share of PhD holders in economics and medicine who have publications in Scopus remains rather small. In these disciplines, 9.4% and 18.1%, of PhD holders and 44.6% and 47% of DS holders who were awarded a doctoral degree in 2020, have publications in Scopus. This can be attributed to the low standards applicable to doctoral theses in economics and medicine. Second, the median journal CiteScore quartile remained unchanged in all groups except for DS holders in physics. In their case, it rose from 3 to 2. Aim: To conduct a bibliometric network analysis to explore the research landscape of immediate implant placement (IIP) and provide insights into its trends and contributors. Materials and Methods: The Scopus database was utilized as the bibliographic source, and a search strategy was implemented to identify relevant research articles. Various bibliometric parameters were extracted, including publication year, journal, authors, citations, and funding. The analysis involved examining authorship patterns, international collaborations, level of evidence, Altmetric data, and funding analysis. Results: We identified a steady annual growth rate of 6.49% in IIP research. The top three countries contributing to research output were the USA, Italy, and China. Prolific authors were identified based on publication and citation metrics. International collaborations among different countries were observed. The level of evidence analysis revealed that over 30% of the articles fell into higher levels of evidence (levels 1 and 2). Altmetric data analysis indicated no significant correlations between citation counts and Altmetric Attention Score (AAS), and conversely a significant association with Mendeley readers count. Funding and open access did not significantly impact the bibliometric indices of the papers. Conclusions: The focus of research on IIP has been evolving as indicated by an exponential growth rate in this study. Only approximately 16% of the articles fit into level 1 evidence, therefore, emphasizing on higher quality level research study shortage in this field. This study aims to do a bibliometric analysis of the literature available on the organic menu at a restaurant to extract insights into the study area and provide direction for future research. Fifty-nine documents were extracted using the Scopus scientific database published in the restaurant's organic menu area. VOSviewer and R-based Bibliometric software have been used for conducting bibliometric analysis. The trending themes are food aesthetics, alternative food networks, food quality, sustainability and acceptability. The four clusters identified in the organic menu literature identified the behavioral intention of consumers, sustainable development, marketing management and procurement of organic food for the restaurant. The study will first conduct a bibliometric analysis to discover the trending themes and clusters in the organic menu literature. Based on the review, the customer organic menu adoption framework has been developed to understand the study topic better. The study's findings will help managers and practitioners easily understand the trend in the literature on organic menus at the restaurant, which will help formulate marketing strategies and policies. Purpose: "The purpose of this paper is to review the literature on service innovation during the past two decades and provide an analysis of sources of publication, citations and authorship using bibliometric analysis techniques (VOSviewer)." This paper aims to assesses the important trends, enhance the academic debate, identify research gaps and propose future directions and a research agenda. Design/methodology/approach: This paper examines 176 articles in English language published from 2002 to 2022 from the Scopus database by adopting the bibliometric technique using VOSviewer software. This paper analyzes the different levels and boundaries of service innovation using bibliometric analysis of "service innovation research" using VOSviewer software. The methodology analyzes the number of citations, co-citations, keywords, authors, journals and countries. Findings: The review of the past 20 years indicates a substantial growth in the number of good research publications on service innovation. The UK, the USA, Sweden and Australia dominate this research area with the most articles published to date under the subject area of "Business management." The review highlighted that most of the studies on service innovation focused on products, companies and processes in the services industry. The most critical factors behind service innovation failure are improper management and lack of knowledge. The citation analysis revealed various research implications and directions for the future. Research limitations/implications: This study focuses only on service innovation and excludes research on performance management and control. Thus, future studies may explore this area of research in future studies. Only research articles were analyzed; conference papers, reports, manuals and white papers from practice were excluded. Research implications indicate that future studies on service innovation would be essential for organizational excellence, not process excellence. Introduction: To analyze, using bibliometric techniques, the scientific production on drug-related problem (DRP) indexed in the Scopus bibliographic database. Method: Cross-sectional descriptive study. Data were obtained from the Scopus database, querying with the term “drug-related problem” in the registration fields of title, abstract and keywords; final search date January 2024. Results: A total of 2992 references were obtained. The annual relationship of the number of publications showed a direct linear regression model (R2 = 0.8; p < 0.001). The most frequent document type was the original article with 2455 (82.1%) references, with a productivity index of 3.4. Papers published in 26 different languages were identified, with English being the predominant language with 2607 (87.1%) papers. There was a statistically significant correlation between JCR and CiteScore impact indicators (R = 0.7, p = 0.005). A total of 40659 keywords (KW) were found, with an average of 13.6 KW per paper. The most used KW was Human, in 2411 (5.9%) times. Conclusions: Taking into account all previously mentioned, it could be concluded: This study showed that research in the field of DRPs has experienced a steady growth over the years, although it has not yet reached exponential growth. The original article was the most common type of document in scientific production. There was a clear Anglo-Saxon influence, both in terms of language and institutional affiliation. A bibliometric analysis based on records from a single citation database may be limited in its comprehensiveness and, therefore, in the reliability of its results. The process of combining and deduplicating records from multiple citation index databases for the purpose of a bibliometric analysis is often manual and requires significant effort, especially for larger amounts of data. This paper presents an open-source tool for automatically preprocessing and deduplicating records based on similarity and user-configurable strategies. To validate the capabilities of the tool, the authors of this paper first manually deduplicated records from Scopus and Web of Science on a use-case analysis for 11,307 records. The performance of the tool was then evaluated against the manually deduplicated results. From the results of the best performing similarity configuration on a deduplication use case, the tool minimizes the time researchers would spend on data wrangling for combining Scopus and WoS up to 99% precision and 98% F-measure. The tool developed has practical implications for bibliometric studies. For instance, we conducted a bibliometric analysis of the most productive researchers at a university using a single citation database, as well as merged data from multiple citation databases. The study used the VOSviewer tool and showed that utilizing merged data may produce different outcomes compared to those obtained from a study based on a single citation database. The rapid increase of Earth science data from remote sensing, models, and ground-based observations highlights an urgent need for effective data management practices. Data repositories track provenance and usage metrics which are crucial for ensuring data integrity and scientific reproducibility. Although the introduction of Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for datasets in the late 1990s has significantly aided in crediting creators and enhancing dataset discoverability (akin to traditional research citations), considerable challenges persist in establishing linkage of datasets used with scholarly documents. This study evaluates the citation coverage of datasets from NASA's Earth Observing System Data and Information System (EOSDIS) across several major bibliographic sources ‒ namely Google Scholar (GS), Web of Science (WoS), Scopus, Crossref, and DataCite—which helps data managers in making informed decisions when selecting bibliographic sources. We provide a robust and comprehensive understanding of the citation landscape, crucial for advancing data management practices and advancing open science. Our study searched and analyzed temporal trends across the bibliographic sources for publications that cite approximately 11,000 DOIs associated with EOSDIS datasets, yielding 17,000 unique journal and conference articles, reports, and book records linked to 3,000 dataset DOIs. GS emerged as the most comprehensive source while Crossref lagged significantly behind the other major sources. Crossref's record references revealed that the absence of dataset DOIs and shortcomings in the Crossref Event data interface likely contributed to its underperformance. Scopus initially outperformed WoS until 2020, after which WoS began to show superior performance. Overall, our study underscores the necessity of utilizing multiple bibliographic sources for citation analysis, particularly for exploring dataset-to-document connections. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

The world eagerly anticipates advancements in AI technologies, with substantial ongoing research on the potential AI applications in the domain of education. The study aims to analyse publications about the possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI) within higher education, emphasising their bibliometric properties. The data was collected from the Scopus database, uncovering 775 publications on the subject of study from 2000 to 2022, using various keywords. Upon analysis, it was found that the frequency of publications in the study area has risen from 3 in 2000 to 314 in 2022. China and the United States emerged as the most influential countries regarding publications in this area. The findings revealed that “Education and Information Technologies” and the “International Journal of Emerging Technologies in Learning” were the most frequently published journals. “S. Slade” and “P. Prinsloo” received the most citations, making them highly effective researchers. The co-authorship network primarily comprised the United States, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and China. The emerging themes included machine learning, convolutional neural networks, curriculum, and higher education systems are co-occurred with AI. The continuous expansion of potential AI technologies in higher education calls for increased global collaboration based on shared democratic principles, reaping mutual advantages. The use of flexible methods in social work allows social workers to be more flexible, client-oriented, adaptive and responsive in a dynamic environment, respond to changes faster, achieve better social impact results, and be more coordinated in cooperation with other professionals. The article demonstrates the results of descriptive bibliometric analysis and scientific mapping (using the Biblioshiny software) of more than 750 articles and monographs indexed by Scopus. Since the appearance of the first study in 1969 and until 2000, this topic was almost not the focus of scientists; the year 2000 was determined using Reference Publication Year Spectroscopy as the key date of interest growth (the year preceding the appearance of the Manifesto for Agile Software development), since 2001, the number of publications on this topic has grown exponentially. By a Sankey plot, interdependence between top references, top authors and top keywords was summarized. According to Bradford's law, scientific journals are structured according to the contribution to the dissemination of knowledge in the subject area. Scientists from the USA, Great Britain, China, Australia and Canada have scientific leadership in this field. The TOP-10 global and local cited documents were analyzed in detail, and "occasional" and "sore" authors were distinguished according to Lotka's law. The most popular thematic research areas on applying flexible methods in social work are presented in visual design as a word cloud (tag cloud, weighted list) and a treemap. The analysis proved that keywords across various clusters and research sub-themes are closely interconnected. The most relevant and advanced research categories were identified by analyzing the increase in relevance and the level of subject development, as well as their trends over time. A trend toward convergence in scientific research thematic progression in scholarly literature was explored using an alluvial diagram (a longitudinal thematic map). Constructed maps of relevance degree and development degree of subtopic in documents with a focus on agile or adaptive social work methods made it possible to determine niche, emerging, and declining topics.

The history of the family business is a well-established field of study within business history. However, there is a lack of bibliometric studies on this topic. This requires, first of all, identifying publications on the subject. This has been precisely the object of our research. To do this, a systematic search has been conducted in three data sources - Web of Science, Scopus, and Google Scholar -, using specific keywords to filter relevant publications, as well as applying inclusion and exclusion criteria to select appropriate works. The result has been the identification of 513 publications on the history of the family business between 1949 and 2023. 62% correspond to articles in academic journals, 23% to book chapters, and 15% to books. This compilation of works will serve as the basis for future bibliometric analyses on the history of the family business and a valuable resource for researchers interested in this field.
