Practitioners of Muay Thai, repeatedly perform the same blows in high intensity training and muscle demand, generating microlesions that can provoke tense. tracks with the presence of Trigger Points, causing a decrease in the flexibility. In this sense, the physiotherapy has techniques that can be used in the prevention and treatment of causes and sympoms, like Miofascial Release and Dry Needling. The aim of this research was to verify the effects of a protocol with Dry Needling and Myofascial Release techniques on pain and flexibility levels, in Muay Thai practitioners. It was carried out a longitudinal intervention study, applying the techniques of Manual and Instrumental Myofascial Release and Dry Needling, in the neck, shoulders and back regions, affected by myofascial pain and tension, and low flexibility. Participants answered a self-administered questionnaire about musculoskeletal symptoms and the practice of physical activity studied and received four consultations for the application of techniques. To evaluate the pressure pain threshold, it was used an digital algometer and the pain intensity was analyzed using the Visual Analog Scale. Also the flexibility was measured using a Gravitational Pendular Fleximeter. The results statistically showed an increase in flexibility, however, in relation to pressure pain threshold and pain intensity, there were no statistical differences, which is due to the small number of the sample, however, there were numerical differences and improvement in clinical condition.
